      • 치아 Conus 내관을 구성하기 위한 효율적인 방법

        일반적으로 Conus 내관 제작은 Konometer 기구와 열가소성 레진 재료를 이용하여 수공으로 만들어진다. 그러나 이러한 기법을 사용한 경우, 많은 경험과 상당한 기술적 숙련을 요구할 뿐만 아니라 약간의 오차에도 Conus 장착에 실패할 수 있다. 기존 방법의 어려움을 극복하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 숙련되지 않은 기공사와 치과 의사들이 손쉽게 이용할 수 있도록 3차원 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술을 이용하여 효율적으로 Conus 내관을 제작할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 특히 본 논문에서제시한 컴퓨터를 이용한 Conus 내관 설계는 석고모형을 3차원 입력기를 통해 모델링하고, 각 치아의 변연(margin)정보를 얻은 후, 변연 높이, 원추각, 최소 두께, 최대두께의 4가지 항목만을 지정함으로써자동으로 이루어 진다. In general, inner conus fabrication is manually done with Konometer tool and materials. Using these methods, however, much experience and considerable technical skill are required. and also a conus crown setting can be failed if there is a little measurement error. In this paper, we present an efficient method, which can easily be used by unskillful technicians as well as dentists, to effectively fabricate a conus crown by using technology of 3D computer graphics. Specially, after modeling a stone cast through 3D scanner, the proposed computed-aided design procedure first finds the margin of each tooth and then automatically accomplishes a conus crown by setting four parameters, marginal height, conus angle, minimum thickness, and maximum thickness.

      • 두엄먹물버섯이 생산하는 섬유소 분해효소에 관한 연구

        Cellulosic substance which plays an important role in carbon cycle is most abundant in the nature would. Some higher fungi are able to digest cellulose directly to satisfy their carbohydrate requirement. The effects of active conditions in the various substrates added Czapek's-Dox media for celluloytic enzymes activity by coprinus atramentarius were investigated. The optimum pH and temperature for enzymes activity were 5.0 and 40℃ in Cx-cellulase, 5.0 and 30℃ in C₁-cellulase, 7.0 and 20℃ in β- glucosidase, respectively. Among the various substrates added to Czapek's-Dox media, FPC media was effective to Cx-cellulase activity and PSC media was effective to C₁- cellulase and β- glucosidase activity.

        Sixty-one temperature-sensitive mutants of Pseudomonas aeruginosa have been isolated from the mutagenized culture with N-methyl-N'-nitro-Nitrosoguanidine. The mutagen was treated at 36℃ and the ts-mutants were isolated at the non-permissive temperature of 42℃ by size of colony and growth. Twenty-five mutants were smaller in the size of colonies at 42℃ than those of 36℃, and thirty-sin mutants were not growed at 42℃.

      • 볼록 이차 광원으로부터 완전음영부를 구하는 최적 알고리즘

        3차원 공간상에서 볼록 영역 광원이 주어진 물체를 비추면 각 객체에 대해 두 가지 유형의 그림자 볼륨, 즉 주어진 객체에 의해 부분적으로 가려지는 그림자볼륨과 완전히 가려지는 그림자 볼륨이 생성된다. 우리는 이것을 각각 반음영부(penumbra)와 완전음영부(umbra)라 한다. 본 논문에서는 원, 타원, 구, 타원체, 실린더 등과 같은 볼록 이차 광원으로부터 하나의 다각형에 대해 완전음영부를 계산하는 최적 알고리즘을 제시한다. 그리고 구해진 완전음영부를 렌더링(rendering),과 워크스루우(walkthrough)에 어떻게 응용할 것인지를 제시한다. An area light source in the three dimensional space shines past a scene polygon, to generate two types of shadow volumes for each scene polygon, i.e., one with partial occlusion and the other with the complete occlusion. These are called, penumbra and umbra, respectively. In this paper, we propose an optimal algorithm for computing the umbra of a scene polygon from convex quadric light sources such as circles, ellipses, spheres, ellipsoids and cylinders. And we also present how to apply the computed umbra to rendering and to walkthrough in computer graphics.

      • 다중 참여자 3차원 웹 브라우징 시스템을 위한 서비스 통신 규약 설계

        본 논문에서는 인터넷을 통하여 3차원 가상 공간상에서 다중 참여자를 지원하는 응용서비스, 예를 들어 화이트보드(White board) 지원 대화방, 시합 및 가상 공간 설계 서비스등을 가능하게 하는 다중 참여자 3차원 웹브라우징 시스템을 구현하기 위한 효율적인 통신 규약을 제안한다. 본 통신 규약에서는 3차원 가상공간, 동적 객체 및 참여자를 위한 참여자 표현을 위해 VRML 1.0 화일을 사용하고 인터넷상의 응용 서비스 지원을 위해 웹의 통신 규약일 HTTP을 사용한다. 더욱이 가상 공간상의 다중 참여자와 동적 3차원 객체 조직을 위해 참여자의 변화 정보 및 참여자간의 대화정보와 3차원 동적 객체 정보 전송 기능을 제공한다. In this paper, we propose an efficient service protocol for implementing a 3D Web browsing system. It is possible for the 3D Web browsing system to design application services such as chatting with board, games and design of virtual spaces, which support multi-user to represent 3D virtual spaces, dynamic objects, and avatars for users, and a HTTP on Internet is also used as the low layer of the protocol. In addition, the protocol provides the changing information of avatars and dynamic 3D objects, and the chatting one among avatars for manipulating multi-user and dynamic 3D objects in a virtual space.

      • Escherichia coli RY 13 Temperature-Sensitive Mutant의 生化學的 變異性 硏究

        Eighteen Temperature-sensitive mutants of E. coli RY 13 were biochemically characterized on different testing media. In Klieger Iron media, ts-N 23, ts-N 28, ts-N 31, ts-N 41, ts-N 68 and ts-N 71 produced acid only. One mutant, ts-N 41 did not produce indole. Three mutants, ts-N 58, ts-N 63 and ts-N 68 showed acidity. Four mutants lost their mortility. Three mutant ts-N 56, ts-N 63 and ts-N 132 could net produce arginine dihydrolase in the test media. One mutant ts-N 132 could not degrade lactose. Rhamnoses were not used by ts-N 27. Mutant ts-N 146 could not use xylulose. The wild type and temperature-sensitive mutants were examined for antibiotic susceptibility at 37℃. The wild type was resistant to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, penicillin, streptomycin and tetracycline and was sensitive to cephalothin and kanamycin. Temperature-sensitive mutants were resistant to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, penicillin, streptomycin and was sensitive to tetracycline, cephalothin and kanamycin.

        진행성 위암환자에서 Capecitabine/Cisplatin 치료군과 Fluorouracil/Cisplatin 치료군 간의 삶의 질 비교

        The improvement of medical treatment and anticancer drug has led a complete recovery and prolonged survival time of cancer patients. And recent study of cancer has included evaluation of quality of life. This study was performed to evaluate quality of life between Capecitabine/Cisplatin arm and Fluorouracil/Cisplatin arm. This study was performed in the Seoul National University Hospital from August to October 2003. A total of 8 AGC patients on adjuvant chemotherapy successfully completed this study. Method of study is questionnairing by EORTC QLQ-C30, cancer specific questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of Functional, Symptom, Global health quality of life scale. Patients eligible for this study had histologically confirmed stage III or IV AGC. Patients were to be between 18 and 60 years old, and have performance status of 1. Patients were ineligible if they had a history of 6 months prior or concomitant chemotherapy, radiotherapy. Statistically significant differences favoring the Fluorouracil/Cisplatin arm was noted in the physical scale. In addition, patients in the Fluorouracil/Cisplatin arm reported an improvement in physical functioning after one cycle chemotherapy.

      • 재발성 류마티즘 환자에서 발작의 유발인자

        Background and Objectives : Palindromic rheumatism (PR) is known to be triggered without any obviously inciting events in most patients, although, in a few cases, attacks have been noted to relate to another events such as weather change, childbirth, ingestion of certain foods, or over-exercise. The aim of this study was to characterize the triggering factors on palindromic attacks. Materials and Methods : We evaluated sixty-four patients with PR for the presence of triggering factors and the relationship between attacks and triggering factors by interview of patients. We considered that there was an probable association between episodes and PR, if episodes within 24 hours prior to PR had triggered at least 50% of all attacks and a definite association between episodes and PR, if episodes within 24 hours prior to PR had triggered 100% of all attacks. Results : In 15 patients (35.9%), there was a possible association between episodes of PR and initiating events. In 8 patients (12.5%), there was a definite association between episodes of PR and initiating events. The triggering factors were physical over-activity including exercise (19/64: 29.7%), foods, such as rawfish, crab, and chicken, including alcohol (19/96: 19.8%). However, there were no difference between the groups with and without the triggering factor in sex ratio, duration and onset of PR, the positive rate of rheumatoid factor and involved sites. Conclusion : Our observations showed that PR was triggered by physical over-activity more than in previous reports and hypersensitivity to foods was a causative factor in some patients with PR. However, patients with triggering factors had a similiar clinical profile to patients without triggering factors.

      • 인공 치아 제작을 위한 기하학적 특성 추출

        최근 의학 분야에서는 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술을 통해 컴퓨터로 인체의 해부학적 조직을 재구성하려는 시도에 많은 관심이 쏟아졌다. 이러한 관심은 치과 치료분야에서도 이루어져 왔는데, 컴퓨터 그래픽스를 이용한 치과 치료에도 많은 응용 분야가 있다. 자료를 측정한다거나, 시각적으로 3차원의 영상을 보여준다거나, CAD-CAM 기술을 이용하여 의치의 틀이나 금형 등을 제작할 수 도 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 다양한 응용에 기반 기술이 될 수 있는 치아의 기하학적 특성을 정의하고, 이것을 찾기 위한 여러 가지 방법을 실험해보고, 더 낳은 방법을 제시하고자 한다. In the latest medical world, the attempt of reconstructing anatomical human body system using computer graphics technology awakes people's interests. Actually, this trial has been made in dentistry too. There are a lot of practicable technology fields using computer graphics in dentistry. For example, the measuring of data, 3D visualization, manufacturing a dentures, die by CAD-CAM technology can be applied. This paper shows the definition of geometric feature of teeth and experiments several different ways and propose better way for serching it.
