An internet broadcasting technology is to transmit various multimedia contents to a variety of customers on internet. It supports interactive services and on-demand services unlike TV broadcasting. In this paper, we study on the traffic agent systems for internet broadcasting. It requires to save backup path addresses for the efficiency and stable transmissions, The backup paths are searched on the same level in each node's parents level, If the node is not connected, the traffic agent connects primary node and backup paths rapidly. Proposed system can save the nodes for backup paths efficiently and reconstruct backup path rapidly.

The infection status of zoonotic trematode metacercariae (ZTM) was investigated in total 568 freshwater fishes (19 species) from the irrigation canal of Togyo-jeosuji (Reservoir) in Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, the Republic of Korea for 3 years (2018-2020). All fishes were examined using the artificial digestion method. The metacercariae of Clonorchis sinensis (CsMc) were detected in 180 (43.8%) out of 411 fish of positive species, and their infection intensity was 38 per fish infected (PFI). Especially, in 2 fish species, i.e., Pseudorasbora parva and Puntungia herzi, the prevalence was 82.1% and 31.3%, and the infection intensity with CsMc was 88 and 290 PFI, respectively. Metagonimus spp. metacercariae (MsMc) were found in 403 (74.1%) out of 544 fish of positive species, and their infection intensity was 62 PFI. In the pale chub, Zacco platypus, the prevalence of MsMc was 98.6%, and their infection intensity was 144 PFI. Centrocestus armatus metacercariae were detected in 171 (38.9%) out of 440 fish of positive species, and their infection intensity was 1,844 PFI. Echinostoma spp. metacercariae were found in 94 (19.6%) out of 479 fish of positive species, and their infection intensity was 3 PFI. Metorchis orientalis metacercariae were detected in 43 (29.3%) out of 147 fish of positive species, and their infection intensity was 4 PFI. By the present study, it has been confirmed that some species of ZTM, including CsMc and MsMc, are prevalent in fishes from the irrigation canal of Togyo-jeosuji in Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, Korea.

N/A Major hepatic resection in cirrhotic or icteric patient has been known to frequently associate with postoperative hepatic insufficiency followed by systemic derangernent of metabolism and multiple organ failure. Hepatic insufficiency in cirrhotic liver is mainly caused by lower ATP generating potential of cirrhotic hepatocyte mitochondria. Portal blood containing insulin has the potential to enhance the ATP generating system in the hepatic rnitochondria. The number of in- sulin receptors and the affinity of these receptors in the cirrhotic liver are normally decreased. The important action of insulin on carbohydrate metabolisrn in the liver is considered to be the inhibition of gluconeogenesis and the enhancement of glycogenolysis, followed by the decrease in glucose output from the hepatic cells. Thus, the blood glucose and insulin response after oral glu- cose loading could be utilized as a guide for hepatic functional reserve. Surgical outcorne were studied retrospectively in 59 patients who underwent hepatic resections from July 1991 to August 1993. The insulinogenic index was calculated by a modifi- cation of Seltzer method for oral glucore tolerance test in the 59 patients. 18 of 59 patients in the hepatic resection group showed postoperative complications(30.5%) and insulinogenic index of these group was 0.40+0.03, 3 of whom experienced hepatic failure resulting in hospi- tal death(5.1%) and insulinogenic index of these group was 0.28+ 0.06. Mean insulinogenic index of the cirrhotic group was 0.65+0.07 in 27 patients. 12 of 27 patients who has liver cir- rhosis showed postoperative complication(44.4%) and insulinogenic index of these group was 0. 38+0.03, 2 patients showed hospital death(7.4%) and insulinogenic index of these group was 0. 35. In conclusion, from the viewpoint of hepatic mitochodrial energy metabolism, insulinogenic index in useful and reliable parameter of hepatic fuctional reserve, And further- more intraportal insulin administration has a beneficial effect on the post operative manage- ment and facilitates care of lower insulinogenic index patients, who are very high-risk candi- dates for major hepatic resection.(Korean J Gastroenterol 1994; 26: 265 272)

N/A We studied the separate roles of ischemia, retransfusion, and oxygen free radicals on gastric lesion formations in rat hemorrhagic shock mode1s. 1n this model, the systemic arterial pressure was reduced to 30-40mmHg for 20 min by withdrawal of blood via the carotid artery, and then the shed blood was retransfused. In rats subjected to ischemia alone, there were very few gastric erosions on both gross and histologic evaluation. In contrast, ischemia followed by retransfusion caused severe gastric injury. Pretreatment with either superoxide dismutase or allopurinol significantly reduced gastric lesion formation (p<0.005). Therefore, oxygen-free radicals formed during retransfusion may play an important role in the pathogenesis of hemorrhagic shock-induced gastric injury. In addition, superoxide dismutase and allopurinol are effective against hemorrhagic shock-induced gastric injury.
뇌성마비 아동의 대동작운동기능 수준에 따른 흉곽발달 양상

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide quantitative data regarding development of the chest wall in children with cerebral palsy (CP) according to Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) levels and age using the radiological image diameter measurement method. Methods: Subjects included 112 children with CP and 110 healthy children, All of the children underwent simple chest x-ray. The diameters of the upper chest ($D_{apex}$) and lower chest ($D_{base}$) were measured on the anteroposterior (AP) view of a chest x-ray, and the $D_{apex}$ to $D_{base}$ ratio was calculated. Chest wall ratios were compared among children with CP at GMFCS levels I ~ III, GMFCS levels IV and V, and healthy children. Results: The results showed significant differences between the upper and lower chest wall diameters of children with CP at GMFCS levels IV and V, and healthy children (F=4.54, p=0.01; F=3.20, p=0.04). Results of comparison between the chest wall ratios of children with CP and healthy children, showed that the upper chest walls of healthy children were significantly larger in children younger than 48 months (p<0.05), and both the upper and lower chest walls of healthy children were significantly larger compared to children with CP in children older than 48 months (p<0.05). Conclusion: Radiographic measurement for examination of chest wall development is relatively simple, and the results yield quantitative data on development of the chest wall for children with CP. In addition, therapeutic interventions may be considered based on the results.

Hypercalcemia secondary to hyperthyroidism is common, but hypercalcemia due to concomitant hyperthyroidism and hyperparathyroidism after medical treatment of hyperthyroidism is relatively uncommon. We experienced a patient who presented with primary hyperthyroidism [triiodothyronine 5.9 nmol/L (1.2~3.4), total thyroxine 276.7 nmol/L (64.4~180.2), and TSH 0.7 mU/L (2.0~8.0)] and hypercalcemia [3.6 mmol/L (2.1~2.6)]. In spite of the treatment of hyperthyroidism, hypercalcemia persisted and hypercalcemic crisis developed. The radioimmunoassay for parathyroid hormone showed high values [2.49, 3.93, 3.48 μg/L, (C-terminal 0~0.5)]. We performed subtotal thyroidectomy and parathyroid exploration, and confirmed right inferior parathyroid adenoma as the cause of persistent hypercalcemia. The patient is healthy without any medication after operation. While there are no clinical features which can make the differentiation easy between two groups: one with hyperthyroidism with secondary hypercalcemia and one with concomitant hyperthyroidism and hyperparathyroidism, in patients with hyperthyroidism and possible hyperparathyroidism, serum parathyroid hormone levels should be measured and surgical therapy should be considered.

<P>The developmentally regulated GTP-binding protein-2 (DRG2) is a novel subclass of GTP-binding proteins. Many functional characteristics of osteoclasts (OC) are associated with small GTPases. We hypothesized that DRG2 affects bone mass via modulating OC activity. Using DRG2 transgenic mice, we investigated the role of DRG2 in bone remodeling. DRG2 overexpression caused a decrease in bone mass and an increase in the number and activity of OC in vivo. DRG2 overexpression increased fusion, spreading, survival, and resorption activity of OC in vitro<I>.</I> Downregulation of DRG2 by siRNA decreased fusion, spreading, and survival of OC, supporting the observations found in DRG2 transgenic OC. Transgenic mature OCs were larger, with actin rings and higher ERK, Akt, Rac1 and Rho activities than wild-type OCs. Inhibition of these proteins abolished the effects of DRG2 on formation of large OCs with actin rings, implying that DRG2 affects cytoskeleton reorganization in a Rac1/Rho/ERK/Akt-dependent manner. In summary, DRG2 is associated with survival and cytoskeleton organization of OC under influence of macrophage colony-stimulating factor, and its overexpression leads to elevated bone resorptive activity of OC, resulting in bone loss.</P>
모델링 탐구 활동에서의 대학생의 모델링 유형 분석 및 인식

The purpose of this study is to analyze the student`s modeling patterns of modeling experiments. The 1st year students who were taking the general chemistry laboratory course performed three modeling inquiry experiments and submitted laboratory reports. Students expressed the model in a formula form and/or a written form. Student`s modeling patterns could be classified by five types; ``Refining tentative modeling``, ``Accepting alternative modeling``, ``Discarding tentative modeling``, ``Failing to find causes``, ``Disbelieving results``. This modeling experiment provides for students the opportunity for understanding how a scientific model is created and what the nature of scientific modeling is.
