The study was conducted to evaluate the difference of life style, subjective symptoms and health cognition depending on the Sasang Constitution in the industrial workers. The results were as follows ; Constitutional distribution among exposed group were Tae-eum In(38.4%), So-eum In(35.2%), and So-yang In(26.4%) and it was turned out that Tae-eum In took a higher portion of Sasang constitution than other constitutions in technician workers. 'Exercise' and 'Obesity' were found most in Tae-eum In, In So-eum In there were many 'Normal' weight and 'Having digestive disorders' were found most in So-eum In. There were no significant difference in the health cognition among the constitutions. The closer to 'normal' weight, the higher prevalence in 'having' concern about health condition and the more 'normal' condition in sleeping, the higher prevalence of 'having' self-confident in present health.

In the present study, we aimed. to consider the name of twelve main Meridian in order to understand the concept of the Meridian system and to applicate acupuncture theory in the clinical field properly and fundamentally. We referred to several literatures on the matter and we found out that the name of present twelve Meridian was not settled until the period of Yellow Emperor's Classic. In the time of Yellow Emperor's Classic, the two theory of Internal Organ and Meridian system were combined and added new theory of 'WoonGi'. The general rule of combination is that the component of name of Meridian consist of 'Hand' or 'Foot', 'three Eum and Yang' and internal organ. The internal organ coupled with the root ki or middle ki of 'three Eum and Yang' and the 'Hand' or 'Foot' depend on the location of internal organ that belongs to meridian. The name of Twelve Meridian is a kind of system formed to analyze the two concepts organically and dynamically. One is material internal organ and the other is immaterial meridian system.
포항지역 고3 남학생들의 생활습관과 성적, 스트레스에 관한 연구

목적 : 우리나라의 고등학교 3학년 학생들은 대학입시를 앞두고 많은 스트레스 환경에 놓여있으나, 그에 대한 연구는 충분하지 않았다. 본 연구는 고등학교 3학년 남학생들을 대상으로 생활습관과 스트레스 정도, 스트레스 대처방법을 알아보고 생활습관과 스트레스, 성적과의 상호 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 수능시험을 치른 포항 모 남자 고등학교 3학년 454명을 대상으로 2000년 11월 29일 자기 기입식 설문지를 이용하여 성적, 스트레스량, 스트레스 해소방법을 조사하였다. 스트레스 측정은 외래용 스트레스량 측정도구인 BEPSI (The Brief Encounter Psychosocial Instrument) 번역판을 사용하였다. 결과 : 조사대상자의 성적과 생활습관과의 관계를 본 결과 생활습관 중에서 아침식사(p<0.05), 규칙적인 식사(p<0.01), 규칙적인 수면(P<0.01), 부모와의 대화(P<0.05), 흡연(P<0.05)이 성적과 통계적으로 유의하였다. BEPSI 점수는 성적 및 스트레스 해소방법과 유의한 관계가 없었다. 생활습관과 BEPSI 점수와의 관계는 규칙적인 식사(P<0.05), 부모와의 대화(P<0.05), 주 2회 이상의 음주(P<0.01), 흡연(P<0.01) 등에서 통계적으로 유의한 관계가 있었다. 건강 생활습관 갯수와 BEPSI 점수는 유의한 관계가 있었다(P<0.01). 결론 : 고3 남학생들은 건강한 생활습관과 학교성적이 비례하였고, 건강습관 갯수와 스트레스량은 역비례하였다. 그러므로 고등학교 3학년 시기에는 좋은 생활습관을 가지는 것이 중요하다. Background: There are many stressful environment in the twelfth grade students who will take an entrance examination. But the investigation about twelfth grade students were not studied enough. Therefore we investigated the relationship between life style, school record and stress in the twelfth grade students. Methods: In November 29,2000, we surveyed 454 twelfth grade male students who has taken entrance examination for a university in a high school located in Pohang. Self report questionnaire was administered to measure school record, coping method, life style and stress. Stress amount was measured by Korean-translated BEPSI score. Results: There was significant relationship between school record and life style such as breakfast. regular diet, regular sleep, enjoy conversation with their parents and smoking. School record and coping method were no significant relationship with BEPSI scores. There was significant relationship between BEPSI scores and life style such as regular diet, enjoy conversation with their parents, smoking, drinking more than two times a week. The number of healthy life styles number was significantly related to BEPSI scores. Conclusions: Healthy life style was proportional to good school record and inversely proportional to stress amount in twelfth grade male students. Therefore, we conclude that it is important to keep healthy life style in the twelfth grade.
국제해운항만로지스틱스에 있어서 항만경쟁력의 평가에 관한 연구 : 계층퍼지분석법의 적용 An Application of Hierarchical Fuzzy Process

본 연구의 목적은 국제해운항만로지스틱스에 있어서 근간이 되는 경쟁항만의 현황을 조사하고, 실제 경쟁을 주도하는 구성요소를 파악하며, 항만경쟁력 평가모델을 개발하고, 평가모델에 각 항만의 구성요소별 data를 투입하여 실제 경쟁능력을 파악하는 것이다. 연구의 방법론은 속성간 중복도를 고려하여 연산 할 수 있는 계층퍼지분석법(HFP : Hierarachical Fuzzy Process)을 도입하였다. 그리고, 연구의 범위는 급변하는 국제해운항만로지스틱스에 있어서 가장 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 동북아시아국가 및 동남아시아국가의 컨테이너항문 중 2000년 컨테이너 처리실적 상위 20위 내에 위치한 항만을 대상으로 하였다. 연구의 결과 싱가포르 항만이 연구대상지역에서는 가장 경쟁력이 뛰어난 것으로 나타났다. 향후 연구과제로, 본 연구의 항만경쟁력 평가기법으로 채택된 HFP방법에 있어서 엄밀히 고려하지 못한 다수의사결정그룹(Multiple Decision-Making Group : MDMG)의 해결을 위한 보완적 연구가 더 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to grasp the real competitiveness of ports in international shipping and port logistics, by 1) examining the status of competitive ports, 2) grasping the components that lead the actual competition, 3) developing evaluation models of port competitiveness, and 4) putting component data of each port into these same evalation models. The research method which was used in this study accounted for overlapping between attributes, and introduced the HEP(Hierarchical Fuzzy Process) method that can perform an operation. The scope of this study covers the top 20 Northeast and Southeast Asian ports with respect to container handling in 2000. This has direct competition in attracting cargo from East Asia. The results of this study showed that the competitive power of Singapore Port was the highest among the ports of East Asia. Derived from the empirical study, the attempt to grasp the real port competitiveness in dynamic port activities is the merit of this study, especially in the rapidly changing environments of international shipping and port logistics. In order to reinforce this study, it needs further compensative research because the HFP method adopted as an evaluation model of port competitiveness in this study was not strictly considered enough to solve the problems such as MDMG(Multiple Decision-Making Group).
제조합 대장균에서 과발현된 Citrobacter freundii KCTC2006 유래의 β-Tyrosinase를 이용한 3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl-L-alanine의 생산

재조합 대장균에서 대량발현 시킨 Citrobacter freundii KCTC 2006 유래이 효소 β-tyrosinase를 이용하여 pyrocatechol, sodium pyruvate, ammonium acetate로부터 3,4-dihydroxy phenyl-L-alanine을 생산하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 이 효소반응에 적합한 온도 및 pH 조건은 각각 18℃와 8.5로 결정되었고, 반응액 중의 ammonium acetate와 sodium pyruvate의 농도는 각각 300 mM, 50 mM 이상으로 조절하는 것이 적합하였다. Pyrocatechol의 경우는 20 mM에서 가장 높은 반응성을 나타냈으나, 기질을 반복적으로 첨가하며 장시간 동안 효소반응을 수행하는 경우에는 pyrocatechol의 고갈을 피하기 위하여, 20 mM에서 50 mM 사이로 조절하였다. 한편, 반응액 중에 ethanol을 10% 첨가한 경우에는 반응속도가약 20% 증가하였다. 이상과 같은 효소반응특성에 기초하여 조제한 기질용액에 β-tyrosinase를 1 unit/㎖ 농도로 가하고, pyrocatechol과 pyruvate가 고갈되지 않도록 간헐적으로 첨가하면서 효소반응을 수행한 결과, 24시간 만에 85.2%의 수율로 31.6g/ℓ의 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-L-alanine를 생산할 수 있었다. By using the β-tyrosinase of Citrobacter freundii KCTC2006, which was cloned and overexpressed in Escherichia coli, 3,4-dihydroxy phenyl-L-alanine (L-DOPA) was synthesized efficiently from pyrocatechol, sodium pyruvate, and ammonium acetate. Optimal temperature and pH for the reaction were determined to be about 18℃ and 8.5, respectively. The effects of substrate concentrations were also examined at different concentrations of ammonium acetate, sodium pyruvate, and pyrocatechol. Ammonium acetate and sodium pyruvate increased the reaction rate until the concentrations reached to 300 mM and 50 mM, respectively. Although pyrocatechol showed the optimal concentration at 20 mM, it was controlled between 20 mM and 50 mM to avoid the depletion of substrate during the enzymatic synthesis. Based on above results, a reaction medium for the production of L-DOPA was prepared and incubated with 1 unit/㎖ of β-tyrosinase. Pyrocatechol and sodium pyruvate was added to the reaction solution intermittently to avoid the substrate depletion during the enzymatic reaction. After 24 hour of reaction, 31.6 g/ℓ L-DOPA was accumulated in the reaction solution as soluble and precipitated ones and the conversion yield was about 85.2%.

Oxygen deficiency has been frequent in a clouted space. Wood consumes oxygen and discharges carbon dioxide Instead of photosynthesis in closed space without light, so do some microorganisms on the surface. We experienced a case that a healthy Insect-proofer fell down and died of asphyxia on stair-board at 7 m below the hatch of the cargo-hold shipping wood Analysis of gases in cargo-hold revealed O2; 12.3%, CO; 105 ppm, CH4; 2.7%, and H2S; 1.9% at 1 m below the hatch, and then O2; 6.1%, CO; 220 ppm, CH4; 2.9%, and H2S, 2.3 ppm at 2.5 m below the hatch. Autopsy findings were unremarkable. We justiced the cause of death asphyxia due to oxygen deficiency. As seen in this case, the serious oxygen deficiency was accounted for oxygen consumption by wood and microorganisms.
A Stong Ubiquitous Activity of Bombyx mori Heat Shock Protein 70 Promoter

For stable germline transformation, the promoter of B. mori cytoplasmic actin gene (BmA3) was used to ubiquitous expression of transgenes. Except for BmA3 promoter, promoters used to regulate gene expressionin all tissues and developmental stages of B. mori were not nearly developed. To identify more powerful promoter than previously reported BmA3 promoter (Mange et al., 1997), we introduced a new dot blot hybridization method, and isolated nine clones that show stronger dot signal compared to the control, BmA3by this method. Among these 9 clones, we focused on one clone which has high amino acid homology (94%) with heat shock protein 70 gene of Trichoplusia ni. This resulting positive clone, named bHsp70 (B. mori heat shock protein 70) was ubiquitiously expressed in tissues and developmental stage of fifth instar B. mori larvae,and stimulated bythermal and ER stress. As result of promoter assay using dual luciferase assay system, we found the highest transcription activity region (-1003/+147) in the 5'-flanking region of bHsp70 gene that has 264-fold more intensive promoter activity than BmA3 promoter. Moreover, transcription activity of bHsp70 promoter under heat shock condition (42 ℃, 4 hr) was increased over 2-fold than normal condition. Therefore, we suggest that bHsp70 promoter may be used more effective candidate for transgene expression in B. mori.
혼합분류기 기반 영상내 움직이는 객체의 혼잡도 인식에 관한 연구

혼합분류기를 이용한 패턴인식은 약한 분류기를 결합하여 강한 분류기를 구성하는 형태이다. 본 논문에서는 고정된 카메라를 통해 입력된 영상을 이용하여 특징을 추출하고 이것들을 이용한 약한 분류기의 결합으로 강한 분류기를 만들어 낸다. 제안하는 시스템 구성은 차영상 기법을 이용해서 이진화된 전경 영상을 얻고 모폴로지 침식연산 수행으로 얻어진 혼잡도 가중치 영상을 이용해 특징을 추출하게 된다. 추출된 특징을 조합하고 혼잡도를 판단하기 위한 모델의 훈련 및 인식을 위한 혼합분류기 알고리즘으로 부스팅 방법을 사용하였다. 혼합 분류기는 약한 분류기의 조합으로 하나의 강한 분류기를 만들어 내는 분류기로서 그림자나 반사 등이 일어나는 환경에서도 잠재적인 특징들을 잘 활용할 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템의 성능실험은 “AVSS 2007“의 도로환경의 차량 영상과 철도환경내의 승강장 영상을 사용하였다. 조명변화가 심한 야외환경과 승강장과 같은 복잡한 환경에서도 시스템의 우수한 성능을 보여주었다. Pattern recognition using ensemble classifiers is composed of strong classifier which consists of many weak classifiers. In this paper, we used feature extraction to organize strong classifier using static camera sequence. The strong classifier is made of weak classifiers which considers environmental factors. So the strong classifier overcomes environmental effect. Proposed method uses binary foreground image by frame difference method and the boosting is used to train crowdedness model and recognize crowdedness using features. Combination of weak classifiers makes strong ensemble classifier. The classifier could make use of potential features from the environment such as shadow and reflection. We tested the proposed system with road sequence and subway platform sequence which are included in “AVSS 2007” sequence. The result shows good accuracy and efficiency on complex environment.
