        재가노인들을 위한 무료급식소의 식단 평가

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diet quality of the menus delivered by 17 free meal service centers for the low-income home-bound elderly in Chung- cheong buk-Do. Statistical data analysis was compleleted using the SPSS package program for descriptive analysis, T-test, and ANOVA. The meals offered by free meal service centers were not met the 1/3 recommended dietary allowances in calcium and vitamin B_2. There were significant differences between dependent variables(nutrient content, nutrient density, nutrient deficiency, NAR, MAR, food group intake patterns) and independent variables (operation type, operation status, operation period, nutritionist, food cost).

        뇌종양의 악성도 판정을 위한 분열기 세포측정에 관한 연구

        Tissue markers of cellular proliferation have been utilized as prognostic indicators in tumors of the central nervous system. Nucleolar organizer regions represent transcriptionally active sites of ribosomal deoxyribonucleic acid and can be identified by a simple argyrophilic technique. The authors describe a standardized approach to the assessment of these argyrophilic nucleolar organizer regions(AgNORs) in 25 astrocytomas(including 6 glioblastomas), 6 oligodendrogliomas and 1 xanthochromic astrocytoma, which were also estimated in association with 2-year survival post-operatively. Appropriate sections were silver stained and AgNORs were counted in 1000 cells. In cases of astrocytoma, the mean AgNORs/cell count of group survived more than 2 years after operation was significantly different from that survived less than 2 years : 1.93±1.13 vs. ≥ 4.79±3.90. And the mean AgNORs/cell count was 1.53±0.32 in low grade astrocytoma. 2.03±0.59 in grade Ⅲ astrocytoma, and ≥6.64±3.77 in grade Ⅳ astrocytoma. Among the patients with the same grade astrocytoma, the mean AgNORs/cell count was lower in the cases of long survival rather than short survival. The assessment of AgNORs can be easily performed by any surgical pathology laboratory without specialized equipment. It may be used as a valuable and independent prognosticator of biological behavior in cases of astrocytoma.

        We are now in the society of decentering. It's the result of the absence of new paradigm, after the collapse of Modernism. In this situation, individual cultures evolve to Syncretism by reciprocal action with no evaluating measure. Interior design, as a part of culture, became diverse upon the influence of disrupted society. And it is in intimate relationship with art and architecture in form and matter. In this diversity of interior design. Syncretism became Post Moders Classicism in radical eclectic manner. The attitude, trying to overcome this disorder by high technology, is evolving to High Tech style. And the philosophical attitude which recognized the inner paradox of social structure and trying to over-come it by analyzing the former paradigm and seizing the behinds, is expressed as Deconstruction in interior design. 1. Post Modern Classicism The idea is a significant place which cherish the life and experience by communication between the user and the room. The characteristics of space is contradiction, transformation, and interpenetration. And the space has the hierarchy by centering. The expressed feature is free style classicism in eclectic manner with ornamental motifs from Classical Architecture, popular culture and technology in industry. 2. High Tech style The idea is perfect harmony and certainty in a utopia which could be realized by high technology. In the space, it gives a purpose and a name to an anonymous space, keeping the flexibility for other transform. The expression is machine aesthetics such as slick tech, glazzing system, bowelism, and fantastic space. And the metaphore is something could be found in S.F. films such as space capsule, time machine, intelligent robot, city in the air. 3. Deconstruction In tries to reveal and confirm the uncertain, unreliable and anxious phases of this time with refusing the idea of centering, unity, and totality. And it recognizes the differences between some ideologies and truths. The space starts from a plane wall and expands into three dimensional area, called the PROUN space. It represents strain and movement by unrealistic, abstract mood in defiance of gravity, the materiors and technologies are borrowed from the High Tech style. Contemporary tendency in interior design is classified as mentioned above in connection with the phases of this time and other cultures. The titles of these categories are not fixed yet. Above all, these tendencies are still in progress and have potentiality to be changed. But to study the present tendency is necessary to arrange the confusion, and to expand the ways of interior design: besides, the practical methology should be studied continuously.

        진공증착방법으로 제작한 Ni_53-Fe_47 박막에 관한 신형전류자기 기전력효과의 전류와 자장 방향이 만드는 각 θ 의존성이, 자기저항효과의 cos 2θ, Hall 1 효과의 경우 sin 2θ로 관측되고, 이 효과의 자장에 의존하는 전압변화율이 자기저항효과와 비교할 때 차수가 다르게 큰 것이 조사된다. 이 효과가 2 Carrier형 모델로 이해할 수 있음을 이론적으로 확인된다. A new Galvanomagnetic electromotive force effect of Ni_53-Fe_47 thin films is studied. The dependence of this effect on θ, angle between the current and the magnetic field, is found to be the form of sin 2θ, in contrast with that of the magnetoresistance effect cos 2θ and that of the Hall effect sin θ. Property of this effect is that the rate of the voltage variation depending on the magnetic field is extremely large as compared with the magnetiresistance effect. It is theoretically confirmed that this effect is well understood on the basis of the two carrier types model.

        As a function of interior design, it requires 'the spirit of the age' as a metaphor. These time could be described as machine age, and then high technology has enough validity to be the metaphor. But the technology in architecture and design is not equivalent to the technology in industry, behind of that. And so called High Tech Architecture exactly means high tech style architecture. Anyway the idea of High Tech Architecture is to maximize the 'Flexibility of Space.' High tech style interior design has its own forms in different region. In England and France, it pursue the flexibility of space for the changes, and in Japan, it reveals structure and equivalent to be bowelism. In this study, high tech style interior design has classified by the way of expressions as follows. 1. High tech of space- steel mezzanine, bowelism 2. High tech of material- iron, steel, aluminum, titanium, galvanized iron, glass, synthetic glass, plastic resin etc., 3. High tech of imagination- lighting, laser beam, fancy neon, multi vision The beginning of high tech style interior design in Korea seems to be the Kunst Disco, which was planned a commemoration of Seoul Olympic in 1988. Tubular steel, truss structure, steel mezzanine, punching metal, laser beam, fancy neon-which was introduced in there became a prototype of progressive factor in our interior design, but in electric manner. The characteristic of high tech style interior design concluded as follows. 1. The concept is perfect harmony and certainly in a Utopia, could be realized by high technology. 2. In the space, it gives a purpose and the name to an anonymous space, keeping the flexibility for other transform. 3. The metaphor is something could be found in S.F.film, such as space capsule, time machine, intelligent robot, city in the air. 4. It's feature is slick tech, glazzing system, metalic luster, fantasy of space and bowelism. There are signs that High Tech Architecture is running out of steam, but the style in interior design seems just in evolution. At this time, partial imitation or eciectism would be a insult to the style. Interior design need not to be high tech style. But as long as the style is practical, functional and fit for ergonomics, we need not to hesitate. Because fitness for function has aesthetics in itself.

        식생활 의식과 식습관이 음식물 쓰레기의 감량과 재활용에 미치는 영향

        The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of housewives' dietary awareness and habits on the reduction and recycling of food waste products. We have done statistical analyses of 501 questionnaires answered by housewives living in Taegu city. The results are as follows: The dietary awareness is significantly different according to the housewives' ages. The group of above 50's age, and the group of housewives and their husbands with a lower education level have a more traditional awareness and eating up habits. Also the younger group, and those with a higher education level who grew up in a big city have a more progressive dietary awareness. But the younger, higher income, small family, higher education level groups, and also employed housewives, produced more food waste products than the other groups. The groups those have traditional or rational awareness concerning dietary awareness, and those with good eating up and accurate cooking habits turned out to have more affirmative effects on the reduction and recycling of food waste products.

      • 데빅병 치료에 사용한 Interferon β-1b의 부작용 1예

        A 63 year-old woman who had diagnosis of multiple sclerosis complaining left hemiparesis and fluctuating decreased visual acuity in her right eye and abnormal findings in pattern shift visual evoked potentials(PSVEPs) and on T2 weighted MR scanning. We treated her subcutaneously with 250μg interferon (3-lb(ITFß -lb) every other day. There were detected pancytopenia, skin rash, and abnormal liver function test seven days after the therapy. In spite of reducing the dose of interferon injection, abnormal laboratory findings were not returned to normal. Dose adjustment of interferon-I3 for body weight or race, may be helpful to reduce the side effects.

        Herpes zoster is well known as an acute, self-limited disease of unilateral sensory dermatome caused by varicella-zoster virus and characterized by grouped vesicular skin eruption and pain over several dermatomes as well as single. This virus usually affects the thoracic dermatome and there are a few reports that this virus involves lower lumbar or sacral area, and recurrent cases. We experienced 2 cases that zoster virus involved L4 or S2 dermatome and left typical skin lesions, of which one was a recurrent case involving different dermatome at an interval of 8 years and the other was a rare case involving sacral dermatome.

        미니 임플란트 직경에 따른 피로파절강도의 비교 연구

        Purpose: This study was conducted to obtain difference in fracture strength according to the diameter of one-body O-ring-type of mini implant fixture, to determine the resistance of mini implant to masticatory pressure, and to examine whether overdenture using O-ring type mini implant is clinically usable to maxillary and mandibular edentulous patients. Materials and methods: For this study, 13 mm long one body O-ring-type mini implants of different diameters (2.0 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm) (Dentis, Daegu, Korea) were prepared, 5 for each diameter. The sample was placed at 30 from the horizontal surface on the universal testing machine, and off-axis loading was applied until permanent deformation occurred and the load was taken as maximum compressive strength. The mean value of the 5 samples was calculated, and the compressive strength of implant fixture was compared according to diameter. In addition, we prepared 3 samples for each diameter, and applied loading equal to 80%, 60% and 40% of the compressive strength until fracture occurred. Then, we measured the cycle number on fracture and analyzed fatigue fracture for each diameter. Additionally, we measured the cycle number on fracture that occurred when a load of 43 N, which is the average masticatory force of complete denture, was applied. The difference on compressive strength between each group was tested statistically using one-way ANOVA test. Results: Compressive strength according to the diameter of mini implant was 101.5 ± 14.6 N, 149 ± 6.1 N and 276.0 ± 13.4 N, respectively, for diameters 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm. In the results of fatigue fracture test at 43 N, fracture did not occur until 2×106 cycles at diameter 2.0 mm, and until 5×106 cycles at 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm. Conclusion: Compressive strength increased significantly with increasing diameter of mini implant. In the results of fatigue fracture test conducted under the average masticatory force of complete denture, fracture did not occur at any of the three diameters. All of the three diameters are usable for supporting overdenture in maxillary and mandibular edentulous patients, but considering that the highest masticatory force of complete denture is 157 N, caution should be used in case diameter 2.0 mm or 2.5 mm is used. 연구 목적: 일체형의 o-ring type 미니 임플란트 고정체의 직경에 따른 파절강도의 차이를 비교하고자 한다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 길이 13 mm의 one body o-ring type의 미니 임플란트(Dentis, Daegu, Korea)를 직경2.0, 2.5, 3.0 mm 각각 5개씩 준비하였다. Instron universal testing machine 에 수직면에서 30도 각도로 샘플을 위치시키고 off-axis loading을 가하여 영구변형이 일어난 하중 값을 파절강도로 하고 5개의 시편의 평균을 구하여 각 직경에 따른 임플란트의 고정체의 파절강도를 비교하였다. 또한, 각 직경마다 3개의 시편을 준비하고 동적하중 피로 시험기를 이용하여, 파절이 발생할 때까지 파절강도의 80%, 60%, 40%의 loading 을 가하여 파절되는 cycle수를 측정하여 각 직경의 피로 파절을 분석하였다. 추가적으로 총의치의 평균 저작력인 43 N의 하중을 가하여 파절되는 cycle 수를 측정하였다. 각 군간의 차이를 검증하기 위해서 일원분산분석(one-way ANOVA test)을 시행하였고, 통계처리는 SPSS ver.12 (SPSS Inc. Chicago, IL, USA) 을 이용하여 실시하였다. 결과: 직경 3.0 mm 의 미니 임플란트는 평균 276.0 ± 13.4 N의 압축력을 받았을 때 영구 변형이 일어났고 직경 2.5 mm 미니 임플란트가 149.0 ± 6.1 N, 2.0 mm 미니 임플란트가 101.5 ± 14.6 N일 때 영구 변형이 일어났다. 각 군간의 파절강도에는 유의한 차이가 있었다(P<.001). 총의치의 평균 저작력 하중에서 실시한 피로 파절 실험 결과, 세직경 모두 5×106 cycle까지 파절이 일어나지 않았다. 결론: 미니 임플란트의 정적 하중 하에서 최대 압축강도는 직경이 증가할수록 유의적으로 증가하였다. 최대 압축강도는 세 직경 모두 총의치의 평균 저작력 보다는 크나 최대 교합력보다는 직경 3.0 mm에서만 크게 나타났다. 총의치의 평균 저작력 하중에서 실시한 피로 파절 실험 결과, 세 직경 모두 파절이 일어나지 않았다.
