        We evaluated the efficacy of the liquid form of enrofloxacin against poultry respiratory and digestive infections, the major problems in the poultry industry, from diverse diagnosis viewpoints. Results obtained through this study were as follows: 1. The liquid form of enrofloxacin showed good acceptability to poultry owing to no abhorrence to the drug by chickens, which indicated its suitability for mixing in drinking water. 2. The application of the enrofloxacin formulation improved the productivity of the chicken farm to a great extent by lowering the death toll of chicken raised in the farm. 3. The use of the drug shortened the days to the market, and increased the body weight at the time of marketing. 4. Preventive and therapeutic effects of the liquid enrofloxacin were observed higher than ampicillin, a major antibiotic used in poultry farming. From above results, the liquid form of enrofloxacin would find its use for the prevention and treatment of digestive and respiratory infections, let alone the growth promotion and feed efficiency, especially in the chicken farming practice.

      • 엔로플록사신 액제의 닭유래 병원세균에 대한 시험관내 항균효과 시험

        In this study the antimicrobial spectrum and sensitivity of a liquid formulation of enrofloxacin against the major six pathogenic bacteria isolated from the diseased poultry in Korea were evaluated in comparison with ciprfloxacin (CFX), gentamicin (GM) and penicillin (PC). A liquid form of enrofloxacin, a test material and ciprofloxacin showed at least 83% antibacterial activity against all of six test pathogenic microorganisms at the fixed concentration of 10 ㎍/㎖. Gentamicin and penicillin revealed much lower antibacterial activity at the same condition. We evaluated the liquid form of enrofloxacin as having widespread antibacterial spectrum against poultry infections. The liquid form of enrofloxacin showed potent antibacterial activity, with the MIC range being 0.12∼2 ㎍/㎖ against Gram positives, 0.06∼2 ㎍/㎖ against Gram negatives and 0.5∼2 ㎍/㎖ against Mycoplasma spp. These values were equivalent to or somewhat higher than those of ciprofloxacin, but much lower than those of gentamicn and penicillin. This new liquid form of enrofloxacin would find its way in application of mixing with drinking water for the prevention and treatment of diverse infections in chickens.

        The hydraulic excavator has been a popular research object for automation because of its multi-workings and economic efficiency. When it works crane tasks, most of disasters happen. The objective of this paper is to design each components and to construct boom, arm, bucket circuit. These models modeled with AMESim show us change of variables and behavior of excavator. Simulation model will be used for simulator of excavator.

      • 단순화된 Bayes 확률이론에 의한 초음파 환경지도 형성

        An Autonomous Mobile Robot(AMR) is a mobile system capable of interpreting, planning and executing a given task without any external support. One of the prerequisites for AMR is the ability to perceive and generate a self consistent representation of the environment from sensor data in order to use them for solving a given task. For this purpose, Bayesian map building model is known as sound and effective method for construction of a probabilistic map of a robot's surroundings. It, however, needs a large amount of memory capacity, and would suffer from heavy computation costs when a real time execution is to be done on an on board computer. This study explorers a simple and fast map building method by simplifying the existing Bayesian model. This model will drastically reduce the computation costs and hence can be used in a real time execution.

      • 액체크로마토그래피/질량분석법을 이용한 랫트 혈장내의 Surfactin C의 정량법에 관한 연구

        Surfactin isolated from Bacillus subtilis has a strong surface tension-lowering activity, together with antiviral, antitumor, fibrinolytic and hypocholesterolemic activities. LC/MS is a simple, rapid and effective technique for the determination of surfactin C in rat serum. The separation of surfactin was achieved on reverse phase column. The mobile phase consisted of 0.1% trifluoracetic acid in water (A) and acetonitrile (B). As a result of analysis of blank rat serum samples, matrix interference was not shown. The values of precision and accuracy were satisfied w the guideline. A newly developed LC/MS method for the determination of surfactin C was successfully applied in its pharmacokinetic analysis.

      • 그리드 연관성을 이용한 지능로봇용 환경 지도 형상의 신뢰성 향상에 관한 연구

        This paper addresses a new feature map building method that can minimizes the appearance of phantom features by using only sparse sonar data. The approach is composed of extraction of features and building a probability grid map using only the footprint of sparse sonar data, estimation of position uncertainty of the feature, and evaluation of the reliable features. A virtual circle association frame model has been developed, which associates two sonar footprints into a virtual circle frame. Using this model, geometric primitives such as line, point, or arc features are separately extracted. While extracting the feature, a grid map is also built using the orientation probability approach. Position uncertainty of each extracted feature is, then, estimated by considering both the position uncertainty of the robot and the measurement uncertainty of the sonar sensor. Finally, the reliable features among all extracted ones are evaluated from grid association method. The proposed methods have been tested in a real home environment with a mobile robot.

      • 확장칼만필터 기반 무인잠수정 항법의 성능평가

        This paper presents extended Kalman filter based navigation performances of an autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV). The system is composed of a mother ship (small unmanned marine prober) on the surface of the water and an unmanned underwater vehicle in the water. The mother ship is equipped with a digital compass and a GPS for position information, and extended Kalman filter is used for position estimation. For the localization of the AUV, we used only non-inertial sensors such as a digital compass, a pressure sensor, a clinometer and ultrasonic sensors. From the orientation and velocity information, a priori position of the AUV is estimated by applying the dead reckoning method. A posteriori position of the AUV is, then, updated by using the distance between the AUV and a mother ship on the surface of the water together with the depth information from the pressure sensor. The performances of the navigation system has been estimated in various situations through sets of simulations.

        하지수술시 Fentanyl과 병용한 0.75% 등비중 Ropivacaine을 이용한 척추마취

        Background: Opioids and local anesthetics administered together intrathecally have a potent synergistic analgesic effect and less hypotention using a minidose of local anesthetic. This study was designed to investigate the safety and efficacy of two doses of intrathecal isobaric ropivacaine/fentanyl in patients undergoing an operation of the lower extremities. Methods: Thirty patients undergoing an elective orthopedic surgical operation of the lower extremities were randomly assigned to two groups for spinal anesthesia. Patients in group Ⅰ (n = 15) received 0.75% ropivacaine 14 mg/fentanyl 20㎍, and patients in group Ⅱ (n = 15) received 0.75% ropivacaine 16 mg/fentanyl 20㎍. After spinal anesthesia, we measured the time to T10, peak dermatomal level, time to peak sensory level, time to maximum motor blockade, duration of complete motor block and duration of complete sensory block using the pin prick test and Bromage motor scale. Also circulatory variables were monitored every 5 min and side effects were measured for 3 day after spinal anesthesia. Results: There were no significant differences between the groups in time to T10, peak dermatomal level, time to peak sensory level, time to maximum motor blockade and duration of complete motor block, but duration of complete sensory block was significantly longer in the 0.75% ropivacaine 16 mg/fentanyl 20㎍ group than the 0.75% ropivacaine 14 mg/fentanyl 20㎍ group. Conclusions: Intrathecal 0.75% ropivacaine 14 mg/fentanyl and 0.75% ropivacaine 16 mg/fentanyl were equally suitable for a lower extremity operation. (Korean J Anerthesiol 2002; 43: 600~605)

      • 데이터 연관 필터를 이용한 자율이동로봇의 환경지도 작성

        This paper describes a method of building the probability grid map for an autonomous mobile robot using the ultrasonic DAF(data association filter). The DAF, which evaluates the association of each datum with the rest and removes the data affected by the specular reflection effect, can improve the reliability of the data for the probability grid map. This method is based on the evaluation of possibility that the acquired data are all from the same object. Namely, the data from specular reflection have very few possibilities of detecting the same object, so that they are excluded from the data cluster during the process of the DAF. Therefore, the uncertain data corrupted by the specular reflection and/or multi-path effect, are not used to update the probability map, and hence building a good quality of a grid map is possible even in a specular environment. In order to verify the effectiveness of the DAF, it was applied to the Bayesian model and the orientation probability model which are the typical ones of a grid map. We demonstrate the experimental results using an real mobile robot in a real world.

      • 모세관 전기영동법을 이용한 6-Acetonyl-dihydrosanguinarine 광학이성질체의 분리

        Hylomecon hylomeconoides is the endemic plant growing in southern part of Korea and belongs to Papaveraceae family and contains many benzophenanthridine alkaloids. As a benzophenanthridine alkaloid 6-acetonyldihydrosanguinarine (ADS) was extracted from Hylomecon hylomeconoides and the separation of enantiomers was performed by capillary electrophoresis (CE). The effects of type of chiral selectors, pH and concentration of electrolyte on the resolution of ADS enantiomers were observed for the optimization of separation method. The optimum separation of the ADS enantiomers was achieved on fused silica capillary (75 um i.d.×47 cm, 40 cm to detector) with phosphate buffer (pH 7, 50 mM) added 4.55 mM of 2-hydroxypropyltrimethylammoniumpropyl-β-cyclodextrin (TMA-β-CD) as electrolyte at 10 kV running voltage. Injection was hydrodynamically for 3 psi×s and detection was carried out at UV 205nm.
