        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Ground Sliding Board Exercise on the cardio-respiratory response and energy consumption and Integrated Electromyograph. That board was specially designed for one to firstly stand on it and make it slide on the ground to forward and backward by one's knee and hip extension and flexion movement. All ten healthy collegiate male students were asked to perform the treadmill exercise(Bruce Protocol) and ground sliding board exercise, The interval of two tests was arranged to be one week for each subject and the order of experiments was randomly determined. All subjects were learned about how to make them move on the board before ground sliding board exercise test, They were asked to stand on the board and make a sliding movement per second with the rhythm of metronome by their knee and hip extension end flexion. They were also asked to move themselves on the board forward and backward two times each for fifteen minutes, During both exercises, the HR, Oxygen Consumption. iEMG of vastus lateralis and medials etc. were measured. The results of this study was as follows. 1. The mean percentage of heart rate and oxygen consumption were 73.8-85.1%HRmax and 61.7-71.9%VO₂max, during the stead state of ground sliding board exercise. 2. The heart rate and oxygen consumption during ground sliding board exercise reached significant higher level than second stage of treadmill exercise(Bruce protocol) after 3 minutes and maintained the level corresponding to the heart rate appeared at fourth stage of treadmill running(16% grade, 4.2mph). 3. Although the iEMG of sliding board exercise had no significant difference with the iEMG at 4 stage of treadmill running showing the similar level of oxygen consumption, the more muscle activation during ground sliding board exercise was found at vastus lateralis than at vastus menials.

      • 공복 시 Caffeine 투여 후 일회성 운동이 흰쥐의 인슐린 및 골격근의 GLUT-4 발현에 미치는 영향

        This study was done to investigate the effects of caffeine ingestion on the expression of GLUT-4 in rats' skeletal muscle(soleus m) and blood insulin level after 12 hr fasting condition and one hour treadmill running. Total 19 rats(Sprague-Dawley) who were 7week Did were used for experimental subjects and raised for 1week in the room controled the air temperature and relative humudity(22℃ and 50%). They were divided three groups ; 12hr fasting group(F group, n=5), fasting+exercise group(FE, n= 7) and fasting+caffeine+exercise group(FCE group, n=7). FG and FCE group performed treadmill running for one hour and the treadmill speed was 18m/min that was supposed to be moderate exercise to rats. Each Dr rats in FCE group was forced to he given the caffeine solution(5mg/kg, Sigma Chemical co.) through stainless steel tube directly to their stomachs one hour before treadmill exercise. Immediately after treadmill running, we anesthetized them with the mixed solution(Ketamin 80g/kg and Rompun 5ml/kg) to draw 3ml blood from heart four insulin analysis and then obtained the rats' soleus muscle for GLUT-4 expression. We found that FCE group showed significantly higher GLUT - expression then the other groups and FE group showed the lowest GLUT-4 expression. This rusults suggest that the endurance type of exercise in fasting condition inhibit the GLUT-4 expression in working muscle and the caffeine helped to facilitate the GLUT-4 expression during endurance type of exercise. The future studies needed to confirm the action of caffeine to increase the GLUT- 4 and the mechanism.

        In this paper the band-stop filter that rejects the undesired 3th and 5th harmonics generated from high frequench generator is analyzed and optimized. The length of the band-stop filter is setup initially a quarter of a wavelength fo the harmonic, but initial filter structure is unable to cutoff the harmonics because of the fringing effect at the input of the choke. To reduce the mismatch between the cutoff frequency and the harmonics, the length of the choke is optimized by using iterative Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm.

        인삼첨가 Long Life면의 조직감과 관능적 특성

        인삼이 밀가루의 아밀로그래프에 의한 호화 성질과 파리노그래프에 의한 반죽 성질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 인삼첨가 LL면의 조직감과 관능적 특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 밀가루에 대하여 인삼을 5.0∼10% 첨가하여 LL면을 제조한 뒤 면의 조직 특성 분석 및 조리시험을 하고 관능검사를 하였다. 인삼을 첨가하면 아밀로그래프의 호화개시 온도를 3.1℃ 지연시켰으며, 최고 점도를 40B.U 감소시켰다. 파리노그래프의 흡수율은 1.2% 증가하였으며, 반죽의 안정도는 인삼의 첨가로 2.0분 길게 측정되었다. Hunter L값은 인삼 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮아졌으며, Hunter a, b값은 반대로 측정되었다. 인삼첨가 LL면의 층밀림 압출력은 첨가량의 증가에 따라 높아져 10.0%의 첨가는 대조구 18.65(㎏f)보다 2.3(㎏f) 높은 23.95(㎏f)로 측정되었으며, 경도도 대조구보다 5.4(㎏f) 높게 측정되었다. 인삼첨가 LL면의 무게 증가는 인삼의 첨가량이 증가할 때 다소 높게 나타났으나. 부피 증가는 오히려 높게 나타나 조직이 다소 치밀한 것으로 나타났다 용출량은 인삼량의 증가에 따라 약간 감소하였다. 미생물은 인삼의 첨가량이 증가할수록 줄어들어서 장기 저장이 가능하였다. 관능 검사 결과는 인삼첨가 LL면이 4.2 및 4.0으로 비교적 좋은 점수를 얻었다. 이같이 LL면 제조시 인삼 첨가량은 7.0%의 수준이 효과가 컸다. The influence of ginseng on the paste or gelatinization properties by amylograph and mixing properties by farinograph of wheat flour, and on quality properties, color, cooking quality, textural and sensory properties, and reducing microbial population of LL (Long Life) noodles was studied. The contents of ginseng used were from 5% to 10% based on flour weight. The viscosity property of wheat flour with ginseng was increased the initial pasting temperature but the amylograph peak viscosity were decreased in vice versa. The farinograph absorption, stability and breakdown were increased by ginseng. The whiteness of LL noodles manufactured with ginseng was lower than that of control. The shear extrusion force and hardness of LL noodles manufactured with ginseng were shown much higher value than those of control. At cooking quality examination of LL noodles manufactured with ginseng, weight of cooked LL noodles was decreased but volume was appeared in vice versa. Extraction amounts of LL noodles manufactured with ginseng during cooking were much smaller than those of control. Total counts of microorganism of LL noodles manufactured with ginseng were decreased during storage at 30℃. Sensory properties of cooked LL noodles which was manufactured with ginseng showed quite acceptable. Based on the cooking and sensory evaluation test, addition of 7.0% ginseng to wheat flour may be suitable for processing LL noodles.

      • 동종 골수이식 후 만성 이식편대숙주질환과 동반되어 신증후군으로 발현된 IgA 신병증 1예

        동종 골수이식 후 발생하는 신기능부전은 원인이 다양하여 감별에 어려움이 있다. 만성 GVHD는 흉선의 기능저하에 따른 면역관용의 실패로 발생되는 자가면역현상에 의해 발생되는 것으로 알려져 있으며 드물게 신장을 침범하여 신증후군을 일으키기도 한다. CaA의 용량을 줄이거나 투약중지 후 발생한 만성 GVHD에 동반된 신증후군의 경우 조기에 신조직검사를 시행하여 감별진단하고 CsA의 용량을 증량하거나 재투약하여 좋은 치료 결과를 보일 것으로 기대된다. 저자들은 문헌고찰을 통해 동종 골수이식 후 발생된 신증후군이 유사한 임상양상을 보이며 발생기전에 만성 GVHD와 자가면역현상이 연관되어 있음을 확인하였으며 동종 골수이식 후 신증후군의 임상양상을 보이는 환자에서 병리조직학적으로 lgA 신병증을 진단하고 이러한 lgA 신병증이 발생기전에 만성 GVHD와 자가 면역현상이 연관되어 있을 가능성을 최초로 확인하였으며 CsA를 이용하여 성공적으로 치료한 경험을 하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Renal insufficiency is occasionally encountered in allogeneic bone marrow transplantation and its cause is difficult to ascertain. Chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) related to thymic dysfunction is immune-mediated and involves autoreactivity of T-lymphocytes derived from donor marrow to recipient's major histocompatibility complex(MHC) minor antigens. The clinical mainifestations of chronic GVHD are similar to those of autoimmune disease but kidney involvement is rare. Few cases of nephrotic syndrome with membranous nephropathy or minimal change nephrotic syndrome have been reported to be associated with chronic GVHD in allogeneic bone marrow transplant recipient especially after cyclosporine A(CsA) withdrawal, and these cases have responded well to CsA. Therefore, it is prudent to differentiate the cause of post-transplant renal insufficiency using renal biopsy and to start CsA in a case of nephrotic syndrome associated with chronic GVHD as early as possible. We report a case who had a massive proteinuria during the post-allogeneic marrow transplantation period. The cause of nephrotic syndrome was diagnosed as IgA nephropathy by renal biopsy. The patient was successfully treated with reintroduction of CsA.

        효소에 의한 꿩고기 가수분해물의 제조

        This studies was carried out to investigate the processing possibility of pheasant meat extracts treated with proteases. The crude protein, aminonitrogen, degree of hydrolysis, yield and amino acid composition of pheasant meat extracts when it was treated with proteases at various temperature and reaction time were analyzed. The crude protein contents of pheasant meat extracts processed in 130℃ were more than when it was done in 100℃, but the contents of aminonitrogen were not quite different between two processing temperature. The content of crude protein and aminonitrogen when pheasant meat was hydrolyzed with protease NP and prozyme A. The yields of pheasant meat extracts, when pheasant meat were treated at 100℃ and 130℃, were from 2.24 to 7.10% and from 5.51 to 10.45%, respectively. And the yield of extraction depended on extraction temperature, kinds of enzyme, amount of enzyme, extraction time. The content of aminonitrogen in pheasant meat extracts treated with enzyme was much higher than any other treatments. And it depended on amount of enzyme, extraction time and temperature. The amount of the amino acids in pheasant meat extracts treated by protease NP were eminently higher than by heat at 100℃ or 130℃.

      • CFRP복합재료의 적층각에 따른 가공 특성

        In recent days the more use of CFRP composite is in the airplane, automobile, and sport goods, etc., the more necessity of research on it in this engineering. In this research, the CFRP composite specimen are fabricated by 48 CFRP plies with 8 orientation angles, and the specimens are drilled with 3 tools. The results are analyzed with consideration of cutting force, type of tools and fabrication condition. The specimens with each drilling conditions are also investigated with SEM. The optimal drilling conditions such as drill types and cutting force with respect to the fabricating condition are studied.

        Plasma hot machining for Inconell 718 has performed to improve the depth of cut notch wear of ceramic tools(SiC whisker reinforced alumina). In this study, wear characteristic of ceramic tools under plasma hot machining were examined, and compared with conventional machining of Inconel 718. The depth of cut notch wear of ceramic tool was significantly reduced under plasma hot machining test.

        전자토모그래피의 정량적 분석에서 대물렌즈 조리개의 영향

        Electron tomography의 정량적 분석을 위해서 대물렌즈 조리개가 투과빔의 강도에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. Electron tomography에 도입되는 Beer’s law의 올바른 적용을 위해서는 투과빔은 시료의 기울기에 따른 mass thickness의 변화에 의한 효과만을 반영해야 한다. 그러므로 빔 경로상의 대물렌즈 조리개, 홀더 등에 의한 다른 효과는 제거되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 대물렌즈 조리개의 cut-off 효과를 120 kV TEM과 Quantifoil holey 카본 시료를 이용하여 상세히 평가하였다. 대물렌즈 조리개를 사용하지 않은 경우와 비교할 때, 30 μm 크기의 대물렌즈 조리개를 통과한 투과전자빔의 강도는 약 16.7%의 감소가 일어난다. 또한 55˚이상의 고경사각 기울기에서는 대물렌즈 조리개의 cut-off 효과에 의해 14.2%의 강도 감소가 추가적으로 발생함을 알 수 있었다. Electron tomography에서 정량적 분석을 위해서는 이러한 대물렌즈 조리개의 영향을 고려해야만 한다. 또한 Beer’s law의 올바른 적용을 위해서는 일련의 기울기에 따른 2차원적 영상은 가능하면 대물렌즈 조리개를 사용하지 않은 상태에서 획득하는 것이 바람직하다. We have evaluated the effects of experimental factors on transmitted electron beam intensities for quantitative analysis in electron tomography. For the correct application of Beer’s law in electron tomography, the transmitted beam intensity should reflect the net effect of mass properties on beam path. So, the any other effects of the objective aperture and the specimen holder on beam path should be removed. The cut-off effects of objective aperture were examined using Quantifoil holey carbon film and a transmission electron microscope operated at 120 kV. The transmitted beam intensities with 30 μm objective aperture dropped about 16.7% compared to electron beam intensities without the objective aperture. Also, the additional losses of about 14.2% at high tilt angles were occurred by cut-off effects of the objective apertures. For the precise quantitative analysis in electron tomography, the effect of the objective aperture on transmitted electron beam intensities should be considered. It is desirable that 2-D tilt series images are obtained without the objective aperture for correct application of Bee’s law.

        Defocused CO_2 laser beam irradiation strengthening of 60kgf/㎟ grade steel sheet was investigated to obtain the tensile strength similar to that of fully penetrated one by the focused beam. The melted line width by the defocused beam was 3∼4 times larger compared to that of the focused beam. However, the increase of tensile strength with 1 line irradiation by the defocused beam was similar to that of 2∼3 lines by the focused beam. The increase(37.6%) of bending strength with 1 line by the defocused beam was higher than the increase(12.9%) of tensile strength. Also, the effect of cooling gas to strengthening was observed.
