In recent years, developments in the semiconductor and electronic industries have brought a rapid increase in the use of silicon wafer. For further improvement of the ultra precision surface and flatness of Si wafer necessary to high density ULSI, it is known that final polishing is very important. Polishing one of the important methods in manufacturing of Si wafers and in thinning of completed device wafers. This study will report the evaluation on abrasion of wafer according to variety processing condition, which have major influence on the abrasion and surface defect of Si wafer polishing, were adapted to polishing pressure, machining speed, and the slurry mix ratio. Thus the optimum condition selection of ultra precision Si wafer polishing using load cell and infrared temperature sensor. To evaluate each machining factor, use a data through each sensor. That evaluation of abrasion according to variety condition is selected to use a result data that measure a pressure, machining speed, and the processing time. And optimum condition is selected by this result. By using optimum condition, it achieve a ultra precision mirror like surface.

한국인 정신분열병과 HLA-DRB1 대립유전자의 관련성

연구목적: 유전이 정신분열병의 중요한 원인이라는 것은 널리 인정되어 왔다. 본 연구는 한국인 정신분열병과HLA-DRB1 유전자좌와의 관련성을 알아보고 외국인 대상의 보고들과 비교함으로써 한국인 정신분열병의 유전적 특성을 밝히고자 시행하였다. 방법: 정신분열병 환자 70명을 대상으로 HLA-DRB1 대립유전자를 고해상도 수준까지 분석하였다. 저해상도 수준의 HLA-DR결과는 정상 한국인 2,000명의 연구 보고와 비교하였으며 고해상도 수준의 HLA-DRB1 결과는 정상 한국인 229명의 연구 보고와 비교하였다. 결과: 저해상도 수준에서는 HLA-DR11이 정신분열병 환자군에서 9.0%, 정산인에서는 3.8%의 빈도를 보여 환자군에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 빈도를 보였으며(p=0.005), 고해상도 수준에서는 HLA-DRB1*1101이 환자군에서 9.0%로 정상인의 1.8%보다 유의하게 높은 빈도를 보였다(p<0.001). 결론: 본 연구에서는 한국인 정신분열병과 HLA-DR11(HLA-DRB1*1101)이 양적 상관관계를 보여 백인에서 DR4와 부정적 상관관계를 보인 결과나 일본인에서 DR1(DRB1*0101)과 양적 상관관계를 보인 결과와 상이하였다. 이러한 한국인 정신분열병 환자의 유전적 특성은 가족연구 혹은 더 많은 수의 환자를 대상으로 한 관련연구를 통하여 재확인되어야 할 것이다. 중심단어:정신분열병·HLA-DRB1·관련연구. Objective: A genetic predisposition is widely accepted in schizophrenia. This study was intended to fine any association of HLA-DRB1 alleles with korean schizophrenics and thereby compare the results of other ethni groups. Method: The subjects were 70 unrelated Korean patients. Low and high resolution typing of HLA-DRB1 alleles were performed. The comparison groups were 2,000 unrelated healthy Koreans for low resolution HLA-DR and 229 unrelated healthy Koreans for HLA-DRB1 alleles. Results: Gene frequencies of HLA-DR11(patients 9.0%, healthy control 3.8%, p=0.005) and HLA-DRB1*1101(patients 9.0%, healthy control 1.8%, p<0.001) were significantly higher in Korean schizophrenics. Conclusion: The frequency of HLA-DR11(HLA-DRB1*1101) is significantly higher in Korean schizophrenics than in healthy Koreans. HLA-DR4 and HLA-DR1, which were known to be associated with Caucasian and Japanese schizophrenics, respectively, did not show statistical association with Korean schizophrenics. This association need to be reassured though further studies with families or association study with larger numbers of subjects. KEY WORDS:Schizophrenia·HLA-DRB1·Association study.

저먼 세퍼드에서 발생한 내측 갈고리돌기 유합부전을 컴퓨터 단층촬영술을 이용하여 진단한 증례

A 4-year-old male German shepherd dog with reluctance to exercise, swelling of bilateral elbow joint and general depression was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. Swelling, alopecia and lichenification of bilateral elbow joint were observed on physical examination. Osteophytes, sclerosis and joint mouse of bilateral elbow joint were found on radiography. Deformation of medical coronoid process and soft tissue density swelling at caudal part of bilateral elbow joint were also observed on radiography. Computed tomography revealed fragmented medial coronoid process and osteophytes of bilateral elbow joint. Therefore this case was diagnosed as fragmented medical coronois process and degenerative joint disease.

단하지보조기(AFO) 착용이 편마비 환자의 균형과 보행에 미치는 효과에 관한 고찰

이 연구의 목적은 단하지보조기(ankle foot orthosis:AFO) 착용이 편마비 환자의 균형과 보행에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 편마비 환자의 단하지보조기와 관련된 균형, 보행에 관한 연구들을 평가하여 단하지보조기(AFO)의 착용에 따른 균형과 보행에 관한 9개의 연구결과를 확인하였다. 균형은 5개 중 4개의 연구에서 유의하게 향상됨을 알 수 있었고, 보행능력은 7개 중 6개의 연구에서 일부분 유의하게 향상된다는 결과를 알 수 있었다. 따라서, 단하지보조기(AFO) 착용이 편마비 환자의 균형향상에 도움을 줄 수 있고, 보행능력에 일부분 도움이 됨에 따라 보행능력을 개선한다는 근거로 작용할 수 있다. The purpose of this study looked at the differences in balance and gait among the hemiplegic patients wearing an AFO. This study found out that there are nine research results related to balance and gait of hemiplegic patients with AFOs. Four out of five studies recognized an significant increase in balance and six out of seven identified an evident improvement on gait ability. In conclusion, this study agreed that AFOs may help hemiplegic patients to increase stability and correct gait.

고려상표군 크기에 따른 구텐베르그의 가격독점영역에 관한 연구

This study addressed an ill-understood issue of a price response model and a monopolistic price interval of fashion goods. The concept of monopolistic price interval introduced by Gutenberg has been rarely applied to the fashion goods, which is known as price sensitive goods. Thus, this study examined the price insensitive zone of the blue jean. The data of 268 respondents were analyzed using Choice-base Conjoint(CBC) analysis and t-test. Considering brand consideration set as a price determinant, we found the presence of monopolistic price interval of the jean. The results obtained form the CBC analysis showed that the bigger the size of brand consideration set, the shorter the monopolistic interval. This implied that the consumer who had a small brand consideration set was more likely to have a longer monopolistic price interval than the one who had a large brand consideration set, since the consumer with a small consideration set tended to value brand itself more than price. Although significant monopolistic price intervals were shown only for the three jean brands out of the seven, to reduce the size of brand consideration set and to increase brand loyalty were found important in maximizing firms' financial profits.

에어컨 냉각 팬용 브러쉬레스 DC 전동기의 역기전력 분석에 대한 연구

Compared to conventional dc motors having the combination of commutators and brushes, a brushless DC (BLDC) motor is one of the highly efficient motors due to its electrical commutation without a brush, and this feature allows the BLDC otor to be more suitable for an application requiring no maintenance due to mechanical wear between a commutator and a brush. Also, the BLDC motor has a few benefits over both a dc motor and an induction motor such as high dynamic response, high efficiency, logn life span, and low noise in wide speed-torque region. This paper investigates the variation of voltage induced in phase windings in a BLDC motor in several cases with respect to stack length, steel grade, and coil material. This study is numerically conducted and it is verified from the theoritical point of view by comparing the result of simulation with that of experimental measurement.

새로운 Fluorene계 발광 고분자 합성

Poly [2,7-(9,9-di-n-hexyl-fluorene-co-9,9-dibenzylidenylflourene)-2,7diyl] was synthesized through nikel-catalyzed coupling between 9,9-disubstituted 2,7-dibromofluorene and new fluorene-based monomer, 9,9-dibenzylidenylflurene in good yield. The polymer containing new fluorene monomer, 2,7-dibromo-9,9-dibenzylidenyflu -orene, which not only has extended π conjugation, but also has sterically hinderd sudstituents at the 9-position. The polymer obtained is found to be soluble in conventional organic solvents such as chloroform and was characterized by GPC, ^(1)H NMR and ^(13)C NMR. Also the UV absorption band showed the peak of maximum absorption at 373 nm and the photoluminescence (PL) spectra emission band showed the peak at 558 nm yellowish green region.

색상 측정 기기를 이용한 복합레진 적층 수복과 단일 수복의 색상 비교 분석

Objectives: This study analyzed the difference in color caused by different thickness in enamel layer of composite resins when applied with single and layering placement technique, and evaluated if the results agreed with the shade guide from the manufacturers to verify reliability of the color matching process of the manufacturers. Materials and Methods: For single composite resin samples, 6 mm diameter and 4 mm thickness cylindrical samples were fabricated using Ceram-X mono (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and CIE L*a*b* values were measured with spectrophotometer. Same process was done for layering compositie resin samples, making 3 dentinal shade samples, 4 mm thickness, for each shade using Ceram-X duo (DENTSPLY DeTrey) and enamel shade resins were layered in 2 mm thickness and CIE L*a*b* values were measured. These samples were ground to 0.2 mm thickness each time, and CIE L*a*b* values were measured to 1 mm thickness of enamel shade resin. Results: Color difference (△E*) between single and layering composite resin was 1.37 minimum and 10.53 maximum when layering thicknesses were between 1 mm and 2 mm and 6 out of 10 same shade groups suggested by manufacturer showed remarkable color difference at anythickness (△E* > 3.3). Conclusion: When using Ceram-X mono and duo for composite resin restoration, following the manufacturer's instructions for chossing the shade is not appropriate, and more accurate information for Ceram-X duo is needed on the variation and expression of the shades depending on the thickness of the enamel.
