        In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

        2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

      • 오이의 性發現에 미치는 Ethephon과 Gibberellin의 自葉期 處理 效果

        오이는 性發現에 관한 基礎資料를 얻고져 飛節成種인 四葉과 節成種인 신록다다기, 그 中間形인 聖護院을 공사하여 種子와 崔芽종자의 蛋白質含量의 品種간 차이와 子葉展開期의 ethephon(250ppm)과 Gibberellin(100ppm)處理에 의한 蛋白質 含量과 peroxidase活性의 變化, 蛋白質 banding pattern 및 perosidase isoenzyme의 banding pteern의 變化 關係를 調査하여 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1) 種子와 崔牙種子인 蛋白質含量, 蛋白質 banding pattern 및 peroxidase의 banding pattern에서 飛節成과 節成品種간에 뚜렷한 차이를 볼 수 없었다. 2) 子葉期의 蛋白質 含量과 蛋白質 banding pattern에서는 3品種 모두 ethephon處理區에서 蛋白質含量이 높았고, 蛋白質 banding pattern에서는 處理 後 日數가 지남에 따라 變異를 보이다가 處理後 5日째 四葉의 ethephon 處理區의 Rf 0.33-0.34의 位置에 强度높은 band가 形成되었으며, 聖護院, 신록다다기의 無處理區에서 形成된 band의 位置와 强度가 同一하였다. 3) 子葉期의 peroxidase 活性 및 peroxidase banding pattern에서는 ethephon處理區에서 3品種 모두 peroxidase activity가 높게 나타났으며, ethephon 處理後 1일째는 3品種 모두 거의 같은 band의 樣相을 나타내었고, 處理 後 3일째는 變化의 樣相을 보이다가 處理後 5일째는 四葉의 ethephon 處理區와 聖護院, 신록다다기의 control區가 거의 같은 banding pattern을 나타내었다. This experiment was conducted to obtain the basic information the patterns of change in protein contents, peroxidase activity and of sex expression between three cucumber varieties(monoecious type;Sayeupl gynoecious type; Sinrokdadaki, intermediate type; Seonghowon) by treating ethephon with 250ppm and gibberellin with 100ppm at the maturing stage of their cotyledons. The patterns of changes in protein contents and peroxidase activity were analyzed using disk polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the results are summarized as follows. 1. No difference was found in changes of the protein contents, band pattern of peroxidase and iso peroxidase activities between mature seeds and germinating seeds of Sayeup(monoecious type) and Sinrokdadaki(gynoecious type). 2. High protein contents were obtained in cotyledons of all varieties treated with ethephon, and a variety of band patterns of protein isolated were shown on the gel during the initial stages after ethephon treatment. After 5 days of ethephon treatment, however, a strong band was observed at the Rf value of 0.33-0.34 on the gel analyzed from the proteins isolated from Sayeup cotyledons with etyephon treatment and the band intensity of their proteins was similar to ones from Seonghowonand Sinrokdadaki with no ethephon treatment. 3. As a result of gel analysis, high activity and strong band of peroxidase isolated from ethephon treated carieties was examined. Similar band patterns of proteins isolated were observed in the cotyledons of all carieties used after one day of ethephon treatment. After 3 days of ethephon treatment, all varieties showed various band patterns, while after 5 days, the band pattern of proteins isolated from ethephon treated Sayeup similar one of proteins from both Seonghowon and Sinrokdadaki with no ethephon.

      • 리튬이 도핑된 막을 이용한 실리콘-실리콘 접합

        Silicon-to-silicon anodic bonding was accomplished using lithium doped interlayer. Lithium doped interlayers were deposited on silicon substrates by electron beam evaporation, which has a fast deposition rate compared with sputtering method. Silicon-to-silicon bonding occurs in the range of temperatures from 250℃ to 300℃ with the applied voltages from 70V_(DC) to 100V_(DC). The bonding strength obtained from tensile test was about 5MPa under the condition of 80V_(DC) in 300℃. The surface morphology of lithium doped interlayer was studied with the atomic force microscopy (AFM). Finally, secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) analysis was carried out in order to investigate the role of the lithium ions in bonding mechanism.

      • 표정인식을 위한 PCA와 템플릿 정합을 사용한 얼굴 요소 추출

        This paper proposed an extracting algorithm of human facial components for the recognition of facial expressions. First face image is acquired using the Haar-like feature mask from an input image. The face image is divided into two images. One is the upper image including eye and eyebrow. The other is the lower image including mouth and jaw. The extraction of facial components, such as eye and mouth, begins getting eye image and mouth image. Then eigenfaces are produced by the PCA training process with learning images. An eigeneye and an eigenmouth are produced from eigenfaces. Result eye image is obtained by template matching the upper image with the eigeneye, and the mouth image is obtained by template matching the lower image with the eigenmouth. The simulation results show that the proposed method has superior extraction ratio than previous method.

      • 민감도 분석을 이용한 필릿용접용 용접변수 선정에 관한 연구

        Arc welding process is one of the most important technologies to join metal plates. Robotic welding offers the reduced manufacturing cost sought, but its widespread use demands a means of sensing and correcting for inaccuracies in the part, the fixturing, and the robot. A number of problems that need to be addressed in robotic arc welding processes include sensing, joint tracking, and lack of adequate mathematical models for parameter prediction and quality control, Problems with parameter settings and quality control occur frequently in the GMA(Gas Metal Arc) welding process because of the large number of interactive parameters that must be set and accurately controlled. The objectives of this paper are to realize the mapping characteristics of bead width using a sensitivity analysis and develop the neural network and multiple regression method, and finally select the most accurate model in order to control the weld qua1ity(bead width) for fillet welding. The experimental results show that the proposed neural network estimator can predict bead width with reasonable accuracy, and guarantee the uniform weld quality.

        특수학급의 이러닝 활용 실태와 요구 조사

        특수교육 분야에서는 이러닝을 통하여 장애학생 교육 서비스의 양적·질적 발전을 위한 다각적인 노력을 모색하고 있다. 그러나 특수교육 현장의 실제 활용 실태와 이와 관련된 구체적인 요구에 대한 기초연구가 부족하여 효과적인 이러닝 실행을 위한 지원 방향을 수립하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 특수학급 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 특수학급의 이러닝 관련 환경과 활용 실태를 탐색하였고, 특수학급구성원들이 가지고 있는 이러닝 실행과 관련된 요구를 밝혔으며, 이를 바탕으로 특수학급에서 이러닝을 효과적으로 운영하고 실행하기 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. E-learning is learning that utilizes contents crafted based on multimedia and hyper media via diverse information technologies. It enables teaching and learning to allow disabled students to utilize contents crafted with diverse latest techniques, thereby expanding the forum of learning. Thus, the special education area is making diverse efforts to achieve quantitative and qualitative development of educational services for disabled students through e-learning. However, since basic research is lacking with regard to the actual utilization status of e-learning and corresponding needs in special education, an appropriate support direction for performing e-learning cannot be determined. Against such a backdrop, this research surveyed the e-learning status and needs in special classes. Likewise, it surveyed the environment and utilization status of computers, software, and assistive technology that special classes in 'B' and 'D' city owned for e-learning. It also surveyed hardware and software requirements for effectively performing e-learning in special classes.

      • Bacillus sp. YJ-63이 생산하는 항곰팡이 항생물질의 구조분석

        토양으로부터 분리한 Bacillus sp. YJ-63으로부터 항진균성 항생물질을 분리하여 그 구조를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 항생물질은 7개의 α-amino acid와 1개의 β-amino acid가 결합한 환상구조를 가지는 iturin E 계에 속하며 특히, β-amino acid의 methylene 수가 기존의 iturin E 보다 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. Structural analysis was performed by the ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR, amino acid composition analysis and FAB-mass. The instrumental analysis represented that the potential antifungal antibiotic belonged to the iturin E group antibiotic, consisting of 7 α-amino acid residues and a collection of β-amino acid with aliphatic side chain. Compared to the iturin E group, notably, the potent antifungal antibiotic from bacillus sp. YJ-63 carried longer β-amino acid side chain. In conclusion, these findings identified a potential antibiotic, which contained a stable cyclopeptide structure with long β-amino acid side chain.
