        By use of hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane module, this study examines the value of Kw(overall mass transfer coefficient) on Na^+, and used Di-2-ethylhexylphosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester(EHPNA), Dodecyl-1,1,3,3,5,5-hexa-methyl hexylamine(LA-2), as extractant. We also shown the effect of additive(Cl^-, C_8H_17OH) and mixed extractant(Tri-n-octylphosphineoxide(TOPO)). LA-2 separated well by increased concentration of HCl and EHPNA decreased. LA-2 shown better separation ratio at compare EHPNA with LA-2. The effect of Kw vs. count ion(Cl^-) was shown that Kw increased by increased concentration of Cl^-, in effect of C_8H_17OH was weak.

      • 살충제 번개탄코팅 훈연농약 개발에 의한 장미총채벌레 생력적 방제 연구

        Study were conducted to investigate the labour-saving control method of thrips by fumigation of insecticide-coated kindling charcoal. This project was carried out to control thrips on roses flower. The results are abstracted as follows. Insecticides were coated onto kindling charcoal at the suitable rate. This charcoal was placed in apparatus and fumigated to control thrips on rose at night. The formulation of insecticides rate were coated above insecticides onto both sides of kindling charcoal. The manufacture of fumigation DDVP 50% Ec 1 parts + bifenthrin 2% Wp 2 apparatus: Place wire grill in the center of tin box (20×50cm), insecticide-coated kindling charcoal on the grill and fumigate insecticide by ignition hole. The application time : Fumigated suitable number of insecticide-coated kindling charcoals in the closed greenhouse at sunset as soon as thrips were found on roses and then ventilated the following morning. The bioassay of fumigated insecticides against thrips on roses and observation of plant injury by insecticides : Tested insecticides were very effective against thrips representing 96∼97% with 3pieces of charcoals for 165㎡, 6 pieces for 495㎡ in greenhouses. And 70% of control expenses were saved compared with farmers routine methods (routine method index 100). The degree of plant injury was no observed.

      • 음료 섭취가 운동시 혈중 조절대사에 미치는 영향

        In order to exeramine of the effects of metabolism during intermittent submaximal exercise in beverage ingestion, 12 male athletes from rowing and field and track events were tested for cycle ergometer exercise. Twelve subjects completed two sessions consisting of 20 min of intermittent cycle ergometer exercise at 65∼80% of VO2max. The test beverages consumed during experimental sessions provided a total of 250㎖ of 150㎖ and 100㎖ respectively. The blood of subjects were extracted from anticubital wein gathered a total of fluid during each session; before beverage ingestion, first exercise, at the and of the 20-min first exercise, before second exercise and at the end of second exercise of fine periods. Blood components analyses of blood glucose, FFA, lactate acid, insulin were performed using methods of glucose cxidase, immunology, enzyme assay, radio immunology and Anne vassault. Following were obtained by the tests and analyses; 1. The beverages ingestion before exercise, according to a sort of beverages, had significantly influnced on formation of blood sugar concentrations, whereas according to the exercise intensity, had significantly greater in a kind of beverages. 2. In the beverages ingestion before exercise, according to the work load times had significantly influenced on the changes of FFA concentrations but were not significantly as compared to eac of beverages. 3. In the beverages ingestion, changes of LA concentrations had not significantly influenced on its, but were slightly reduced, the changes LA concentrations were influenced much more by conparison between first exercise and second exercise than by a kind of beverages.

      • 운동부하 방법의 차이가 혈당 및 혈중 젖산 농도의 변화에 미치는 영향

        Effect of sub-maximal exercise load differences onthe change of blood glucose and lactate contents were investigated. The results were as follows: 1. Blood glucose is quite relative under exercise load intensity (THR 70%, 90%) right after exercise and at the stage of relaxation. 2. Blood lactate contents were the most immediately after the exercise. 3. Under exercise load (THR 90%), Blood glucose and lactate are less related with each other before and after the exercise; on the other hand, in a restoring stage the result was reverse. Therefore; the higher the exercise intensity is, the more blood lactate is comcentrated immediately after exercise and it talkes a lot longer to go back to the stage of before exercise: the research revealed.

      • 장미해충 점박이 응애 방제용 신농약 선발 및 생력적 방제연구

        Studies were conducted to investigate the labour-saving control method of two-spotted spider mite(TSM), Tetranychus urticae Koch mites and screening of new pesticides on rose flower in korea. Because present commercialized pesticides are little effective against TSM which are serious pests on rose, alternative pesiticides without causing plant injury should be screened. This study was made to try to screen pesticides for reducing application time. Efficacy of Abamectin 1.8% Ec., new screened pesticide was compared with Salbiwang Wp. as control. Abamectin was diluted at 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, and 4,000 times and Salbiwang was diluted at 1,000 times. Abamectin 1.8% Ec. was effective by 100% compared with control representing 72.8∼91.7%. When 3,000 dilution times of Abamectin 1.8% Ec. was applied, eggs, nymphs, and adults of TSM were controlled 3 day after treatment. Observation were made from February to October. New screened pesticide method resulted in 99-100% of TSM control by three times compared with 50-60% in farmers' routine method by eleven times. The saving effect of control expenses were saved by 60% and no plant injuries were not observed at the rate of 3,000 and 1,500 dilution times.

      • 온실내 번개탄 훈연 농약처리에 의한 찔레수염진딧물(Macrosiphum ibarae Matsumura)생력적 방제방법 연구

        This study was conducted to investigate injury, density and labour-saving control method of Macrosiphum ibarae Matsumura(MIM), an insect pest of rose, In Kyeongnam province. Population density of MIM was more spring than compared with autumn. Flower bud injury ration were 7∼12% in spring and 13∼17% in autumn in Chinju, Changwon and Kimhae respectively. It's damage was found from Feb. to Nov. and there was four times damaged peak. Labour saving control method of MIM is more effective on the method of fumigation of insecticide coated on the" Beonggaetan charcol" from Feb. to Nov. in rose's greenhouse, and the time was early in Feb., early in May, early in Jul. and middle of Oct.. The saving effect of control expenses was 80% in method of fumigation of insecticide coated on the" Beonggaetan charcol" (New control method) compared with farmer's control method.

      • Saos-2 세포에서 Doxorubicin에 의한 세포사멸 유도과정에서의 유전자 발현 변화

        Background: Doxorubicin has proved to be a useful chemotherapeutic agent especially for osteogenic sarcoma. It induces cancer cell death via apoptosis. Materials and Methods: To explore and analyze the change of gene expression during doxorubicin induced apoptosis on human osteogenic sarcoma, Saos-2 cell cDNA microarray was performed. After treatment with doxorubicin, total RNA was purified and expressed genes were investigated with a 17k human cDNA micoarray. Results: For analysis of the cDNA micoarray, the genes were filtered using the sum of the median value of Cy2 and Cy5 signal intensity of greater than 800. Expression of 264 genes was changed by more than 2 fold, and the expression of 35 genes was changed more than 3 fold after treatment with doxorubicin. The genes were primarily related to cell death, cell growth and maintenance, signal transduction, cellular component, transport, and metabolism. Conclusion: Treatment with doxorubicin induced expressional change of many genes. Some of the genes might be related with apoptosis directly or indirectly. Further study is now needed to characterize these genes.

      • 卵寄生蜂을 利用한 벼혹명나방의 生物的 防除에 關한 硏究

        The biology and possibility of the practical use of an egg parasite of rice leaf roller(Cnaphalocrocis medinalis), Trichogramma japonicum were investigated at Chinju area in 1994. The T. japonicum was a dominant parasitoid of rice leaf roller with 2∼21.5% parasitism in Chinju, Sancheong and Hadong area surveyed. The life spans of T. japonicum were 4.8 and 2.8 days in female and male, respectively. Oviposition was taken 3.3days and development was taken 12.3days. An average number of eggs oviposited was 56.7 per female. Egg laying of rice leaf roller showed three peaks, that is early-June, late-July∼early-August and mid-September in field. T. japonicum was mass produced on paper card deposited with Cadra cautella Walker eggs, an alternative host and about 7,000 parasitoids were emerged. The egg parasitisms of rice leaf roller were 80.7%, 76.7% and 24.3% when the egg-cards were placed in the field by 2m, 4m and 8m distances, respectively.
