        오리엔탈나리의 球根 收穫時期와 低溫處理 期間이 生育에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to determine the effect of the duration of chilling treatment and the lifting time of bulbs on growth of Lilium Oriental hybrids for product of cut flower in the type of forcing or semiforcing culture in Korea. "Casablanca", "Acapulco" and "Le Reve" in lilium Oriental hybrids were used in these experiment and carried out from 1999 to 2000 in Iksan, Korea. The bulbs for experiment were lifted on August 27, September 27 and October 27 and the all of them were chilled at 5±1℃ for 0,8,10,12 weeks. Development of the bulbs lifted on October 27 was superior than that of lifted bulbs on August 27 in the three cultivars. The bulbs lilted lately and chilled for a long time were sprouted more earlier and grown faster. In order to increase bulb sprouting until 100%, the duration of chilling treatment of bulbs was need for 12 weeks on August 27, 10 weeks on September 27 and above 8 weeks on October 27. The flowering according to the duration of chilling treatment and the lifting time of bulbs was same above. Consequently, the bulbs should be chilled at 5±1℃ for chilled for 10 weeks at late September and 8 weeks in producted bulbs at late October in earlyㆍMidseason variety fur product of cut flower hut bulbs of late variety should be chilled for 12 weeks at late September and 10 weeks at late October.

      • Feeding stimulant of sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci biotypes B and Q to the pepper and tomato varieties

        Biotype Q of Sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae) was raised in seven tomatoes and eight red pepper varieties; however, biotype B did not grow in red pepper varieties. Rokkusanmaru variety of tomato and Cheongpungdaegun variety of red pepper showed the highest susceptibility to biotype B and Q. HPLC (ELSD Detector) analysis showed that the presence of sugars such as erythritol, xylose, xylitol, fructose, glucose, mannitol, and sucrose in red pepper varieties; erythritol, xylose, fructose, glucose, and mannitol was in tomato varieties. Tomato varieties lacks xylitol and sucrose, which were present in the red pepper varieties. Subsequent bioassay with these two sugars, sucrose did not show significant difference between two biotypes; however, xylitol was showed only repellent effect against B biotype. Therefore, it seems that xylitol may play a key role in the selection of host plant by biotype B of sweetpotato whitefly.

      • Comparison of host preference, survivorship and feeding behavior of Lycorma delicatula

        This study was performed to compare the host preference, survivorship and feeding behavior using EPG against ggot-mae-mi, Lycorma delicatula against seven plants such as Ailanthus altissima, Vitis vinifera, Malus pumila, Pyrus calleryana, Hibiscus syriacus, and Pinus densiflora. In host preference. L. delicatula was most preferred the Ailanthus altissima, Vitis vinifera and was not preferred the other plants. Survival rate of 3rd Nymph was recorded from Ailanthus altissima, Vitis vinifera as 15.0, and 15.4 days, respectively, it showed longest period. However, Malus pumila, Pyrus calleryana, Hibiscus syriacus, were survived within 6 days and Pinus densiflora was within 5 days. Moreover, L. delicatula was survived within 2 days to the three kinds of fruits. Ecdysis rate from 3rd to 4th nymph also high from Ailanthus altissima, Vitis vinifera as 63.3, 63.0 % and the order was followed as Malus pumila(17.7%) > Pyrus calleryana(9.3%) > Hibiscus syriacus(7.8%) > Pinus densiflora(5.9%). Especially, ecdysis rate was recorded 0% to the three kinds of fruits. Feeding behavior was analyzed using EPG and compared the differences their waveform from seven kinds of plants and three kinds of fruits. Non-probing time was short in host plants, reversely, Phloem-feeding time was recorded longer in Ailanthus altissima, Vitis vinifera as 45.7 and 13.7 min, respectively. And other plants and fruits were not showed feeding behavior.

        Three-dimensional dose reconstruction-based pretreatment dosimetric verification in volumetric modulated arc therapy for prostate cancer

        Purpose: We performed three-dimensional (3D) dose reconstruction-based pretreatment verification to evaluate gamma analysis acceptance criteria in volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) for prostate cancer. Materials and Methods: Pretreatment verification for 28 VMAT plans for prostate cancer was performed using the COMPASS system with a dolphin detector. The 3D reconstructed dose distribution of the treatment planning system calculation (TC) was compared with that of COMPASS independent calculation (CC) and COMPASS reconstruction from the dolphin detector measurement (CR). Gamma results (gamma failure rate and average gamma value [GFR and γAvg]) and dose-volume histogram (DVH) deviations, 98%, 2% and mean dose-volume difference (DD98%, DD2% and DDmean), were evaluated. Gamma analyses were performed with two acceptance criteria, 2%/2 mm and 3%/3 mm. Results: The GFR in 2%/2 mm criteria were less than 8%, and those in 3%/3 mm criteria were less than 1% for all structures in comparisons between TC, CC, and CR. In the comparison between TC and CR, GFR and γAvg in 2%/2 mm criteria were significantly higher than those in 3%/3 mm criteria. The DVH deviations were within 2%, except for DDmean (%) for rectum and bladder. Conclusions: The 3%/3 mm criteria were not strict enough to identify any discrepancies between planned and measured doses, and DVH deviations were less than 2% in most parameters. Therefore, gamma criteria of 2%/2 mm and DVH related parameters could be a useful tool for pretreatment verification for VMAT in prostate cancer.

        차세대 인터넷 사용자들을 위해서는 이동하면서 연속적으로 인터넷에 접속하고 통신할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 필수적이다. 현재까지 Mobile IP를 기점으로 다양한 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 프로토콜들이 제안되어 왔다. 그런데 최근에는 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원과는 전혀 다른 접근 방식으로서, 트랜스포트 계층에서 이동성을 지원하는 방안이 언급되고 있다. 트랜스포트 계층에서의 이동성 지원은 기존 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안처럼 코어 네트워크에 홈 에이전트나 외부 에이전트와 같은 특별한 엔터티들의 추가를 요구하지 않기 때문에 디플로이가 상대적으로 용이하며, 종단 간 이동성을 지원할 수 있기 때문에 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안에서 발생하는 터널링 오버헤드나 비효율적인 라우팅 문제를 피할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 차세대 인터넷 환경인 IPv6 네트워크에서 WLAN 기반의 트랜스포트 계층 이동성 지원 방안을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 방안이 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원과 대등한 성능을 보임을 확인하였고, 특히 이동 노드의 속도가 빠를 때, 새로운 네트워크에서의 IP 주소 획득 시간이 길 때 네트워크 계층에서의 이동성 지원 방안보다 더 좋은 성능을 제공함을 볼 수 있었다.

        Rapid Micropropagation by Axillary Buds Cultures of Smilax china

        An efficient method for the rapid propagation of Smilax china from axillary buds was established. Plants with thick leafage were selected from Korea native S. china population. Axillary buds of S. china collected from selected plant and were cultured in various culture media (2MS, MS, 1/2MS, WPM, B5 and SH medium). Shoot was induced from axillary bud on MS basal medium after 4 weeks of culture. 1/2MS medium showed a higher growth rate than those of the others, while the lowest shoot growth was obtained in 2MS medium. Among the sucrose concentrations, 5% sucrose was the optimum level for shoots growth from axillay buds. Among cytokinins, 0.5 mg L -1 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) treatment showed the best performance on shoot multiplication, yielding average shoot multiplication forming about 2.4. Rooting was induced directly near the base of the shoot on 1/2MS medium containing with three-auxins α-napthalene acetic acid (NAA), indole acetic acid (IAA) and β-indolebutyric acid (IBA) (0.5 and 1.0 mg L -1 ). The 1.0 mg L -1 IBA treatments induced earliest rooting with maximum of root number and root growth. These rooted plantlets were successfully transferred to pots for 4 weeks hardening process, and were transferred to soil with above 90% survival rate.

      • 지역이미지 형성을 위한 공동주택 외장색채에 관한 연구 - 광주광역시 풍암․치평동을 중심으로 -

        많은 국가가 환경의 재인식과 함께 자국의 독특한 색채를 찾아내려고 노력하는데 비해 우리나라는 도시고유의 환경색채를 만들기보다 서양의 건축양식에 따른 유행색채의 무분별한 사용으로 지역성을 찾아보기 어려운 수준이다. 이에 환경색채의 이론적 고찰과 국외사례를 통해 지역에 적용 될 수 있는 조화로운 환경색채 적용방법을 모색하였고, 적절한 적용 대상지를 선정하여 주변환경과 공동주택 환경색채를 분석하였다. 그 결과 대상지의 공동주택 외장색채는 각각의 색상이 난무하고 있었으며, 주변환경과 색채의 조화가 나타나지 않고 있었다. 그리고 주변 환경과 지역 정서와는 상관없이 아파트 브랜드 홍보로 인해 도시색채는 획일화 되었고 일률적으로 도시 이미지에 악영향을 주었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 잘못된 인공환경을 일순 개선할 수 없으므로 점진적이고 지속적인 피드백을 통해 지역의 아이덴티티를 살리며 시민들에게 쾌적하고 건강한 환경을 제공하는데 이 연구가 기여할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.       • Performance of an electrochemical COD (chemical oxygen demand) sensor with an electrode-surface grinding unit

        <P>An electrochemical COD (chemical oxygen demand) sensor using an electrode-surface grinding unit was investigated. The electrolyzing (oxidizing) action of copper on an organic species was used as the basis of the COD measuring sensor. Using a simple three-electrode cell and a surface grinding unit, the organic species is activated by the catalytic action of copper and oxidized at a working electrode, poised at a positive potential. When synthetic wastewater was fed into the system, the measured Coulombic yields were found to be dependent on the COD of the synthetic wastewater. A linear correlation between the Coulombic yields and the COD of the synthetic wastewater was established (10–1000 mg L<SUP>−1</SUP>) when the electrode-surface grinding procedure was activated briefly at 8 h intervals. When various kinds of wastewater samples obtained from various sewage treatment plants were measured, linear correlations (<I>r</I><SUP>2</SUP> ≥ 0.92) between the measured EOD (electrochemical oxygen demand) value and COD of the samples were observed. At a practical wastewater treatment plant, the measurement system was successfully operated with high accuracy and good stability over 3 months. These experimental results show that the application of the measurement system would be a rapid and practical method for the determination of COD in water industries.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>An electrochemical COD (chemical oxygen demand) sensor using an electrode-surface grinding unit was investigated.         불완전 분할 췌와 동반된 췌담관 합류 이상 1예

        저자 등은 상복부 동통과 발열을 주소로 내원한 33세 남자 환자에서 내시경저 역행성 담췌관조영술, 경피경간담도촬영술 그리고 자기공명 담췌관조영술 등으로 불완전 분할 췌와 췌담관 합류 이상이 동반된 1예를 진단하여 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. There are many pancreatic ductal anomalies in which there are clinically significant anomalies associated with acute and chronic pancreatitis or pancreatic carcinoma. Many anomalies of pancreatic duct are diagnosed at clinical evaluation of causes of recurrent acute pancreatitis. ERCP is the gold standard method of diagnosis. Noninvasive method such as MRCP or EUS may also establish the diagnosis. There are many reports for the clinical significance and management of pancreas divisum and anomalous union of the pancreaticobiliary duct. There have been rare cases with the coexistence of a pancreas divisum and anomalous union of the pancreaticobiliary duct in the world and only one case in Korea. The case of a 33 year old man with epigastic pain and fever was recently experienced. It was diagnosed to be the coexistence of a pancreas divisum and anomalous union of the pancreaticobiliary duct by ERCP, PTC and MRCP. We report this case with review of the anomalies.
