        한국인 직무 스트레스 측정도구의 개발 및 표준화

        Background and Purposes: Over the past three decades, numerous studies performed in Korea have reported that job stress is a determinant risk factor for chronic diseases and work disability. Every society has its own culture and occupational climate particular to their organizations, and hence experiences different occupational stress. An occupational stress measurement tool therefore needs to be developed to estimate it objectively. The purpose of this study is to develop and standardize the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) which is considered to be unique and specific occupational stressors in Korean employees. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project: 2002-2004). A total of 12,631 employees from a nationwide sample proportional to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were administered. The KOSS was developed for 2 years (2002-2004). In the first year, we collected 255 items from the most popular job stress measurement tools such as JCQ, ERI, NIOSH and OSI, and 44 items derived from the a qualitative study (depth interview). Forty-three items of KOSS, in the second year, were retained for use in the final version of the KOSS by using Delphi and factor analysis. Items were scored using conventional 1-2-3-4 Likert scores for the response categories. Results: We developed eight subscales by using factor analysis and validation process: physical environment (3 items), job demand (8 items), insufficient job control (5 items), interpersonal conflict (4 items), job insecurity (6 items), organizational system (7 items), lack of reward (6 items), and occupational climate (4 items). Together they explained 50.0% of total variance. Internal consistency alpha scores were ranged from 0.51 to 0.82. Twenty-four items of the short form of the KOSS (KOSS-SF) were also developed to estimate job stress in the work setting. Because the levels of the subscales of occupational stress were gender dependent, gender-specific standard norms for both the 43-item full version and the 24-item short form using a quartile for the subscales of KOSS were presented. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that KOSS might be an appropriate measurement scale to estimate occupational stress of Korean employees. Further and more detailed study needs to be conducted to improve the validity of this scale.

        Kidney Toxicity Induced by 13 Weeks Exposure to the Fruiting Body of Paecilomyces sinclairii in Rats

        Paecilomyces sinclairiis (PS) is known as a functional food or human health supplement. However concerns have been raised about its kidney toxicity. This study was performed to investigate the kidney toxicity of PS by 13 week-oral administration to rats. Blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine, and kidney damage biomarkers including beta-2-microglobulin (${\beta}2m$), glutathione S-transferase alpha (GST-${\alpha}$), kidney injury molecule 1 (KIM-1), tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase 1 (TIMP-1), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), calbindin, clusterin, cystatin C, neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) and osteopontin were measured during or after the treatment of PS. BUN, creatinine and kidney damage biomarkers in serum were not changed by PS. However, kidney cell karyomegaly and tubular hypertrophy were observed dose-dependently with higher severity in males. KIM-1, TIMP-1 and osteopontin in kidney and urine were increased dose dependently in male or at the highest dose in female rats. Increased urinary osteopontin by PS was not recovered at 2 weeks of post-exposure in both genders. Cystatin C in kidney was decreased at all treatment groups but inversely increased in urine. The changes in kidney damage biomarkers were more remarkable in male than female rats. These data indicate that the PS may provoke renal cell damage and glomerular filtration dysfunction in rats with histopathological lesions and change of kidney damage biomarkers in kidney or urine. Kidney and urinary KIM-1 and cystatin C were the most marked indicators, while kidney weight, BUN and creatinine and kidney damage biomarkers in serum were not influenced.

        In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

      • 랫트의 생체내 카드뮴 단독투여 및 카드뮴과 셀레늄 병용투여에 따른 필수원소의 변화

        This study was performed to find out the changes of essential elements as Cu, Fe, Zn, and Ca in blood, liver, kidney and testis of rats. The experimental rats were divided into 4 groups that were consisted of control group(groupⅠ), 3.0㎎Cd/kg group(groupⅡ), 3.0㎎Cd +1.0㎎Se/kg group(groupⅢ) and 3.0mgCd+2.5mgSe/kg group(groupⅣ). Each group was intraperitoneal injection with difference dose of cadmium and selenium such as 3.0mgCd/kg, 3.0mgCd+1.0mgSe/kg and 3.0mgCd+2.5mgSe/kg. Rats were killed at the time of 3 day and 28 day, and Cd, Se, Cu, Zn and Ca concentration in several organs were determined by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry and inductively Coupled Plasma. Cadmium content in blood, liver, kidney and testis were significantly increased in the Cd alone injection group than Cd mixed with selenium injection groups. But, copper content were not significantly differences in control and each experimental group. Iron content were significantly increased in the Cd alone injection group than others groups. Zinc and calcium content were significantly decreased in the Cd alone injection group than other groups. On the other hand the essential element content in Cd mixed with selenium injection group were almost equaled with those of control group than Cd alone injection group.

      • 과학 포트폴리오 체제의 적용이 초등학생의 사회심리학적 교실 환경에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of the research is to investigate the effects of a portfolio system on students' socio-psychological classroom environments in elementary science class. Two schools were selected from a metropolitan area, a city, and one school from a rural area in central Korea. Two fifth-grade classes were sampled from each school selected, and one class is assigned to experimental group and the other to control group, respectively. The total number of participants of the study is 399. Portfolio system was administered to experimental group, and conventional teaching to control group for two and half month. WIHIC, an inventory to measure socio-psychological classroom environment, was administered as a pre-and post-test. Experimental group gained statistically higher scores on WIHIC after administering portfolio system. They showed more positive perceptions on sub-areas of WIHIC such as teacher support, task orientation, and equity. There is interaction between region and group: the effects of the portfolio system is highest in rural area, lowest in metropolitan area, and the city in between. Portfolio system have positive effects on students' socio-psychological classroom environments. Enhanced socio-psychological classroom environments is expected to contribute to positive self-concept, higher science achievements, and self-directed learning.

        한국예술가곡 효시에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 독일어권에서 비롯된 예술가곡 리트(Lied)의 한국적 전이과정을 통해 한국예술가곡의 효시를 규명하고자하는 목적이다. 예술가곡은 시문학과 음악의 합일된 예술장르로서 독일과 오스트리아를 포함한 독일어권에서 발달된 가곡으로, 시인의 시에 작곡가가 선율을 붙이고 이를 성악가가 부르는 음악 양식이다. 그 효시를 슈베르트의 `실 잣는 그레첸(Gretchen am Spinnrade)`로 비정하고 있다. 작곡가의 임무란 좋은 시를 널리 알리는 것이었기 때문에 음악은 시에 종속되어 있었다. 그러나 예술가곡은 상호매체성에 의한 문화융합결과물로서 시와 음악이 서로가 각기 독립된 예술이었던 상태로부터 벗어나 완전히 하나로 융합되면서 또 하나의 새로운 양식으로 탄생한다. 슈베르트 이후 가곡의 작곡자는 더 이상 시의 언어 음율을 선율적으로 고양시키는 낭음자가 아니라 가사에서 말로 표현될 수 없는 영역을 음악적으로 표출하는 시의 자유로운 해석자의 역할을 하게 된다. 음악을 단순히 시를 쉽게 이해하는 보조수단에 국한시킨 이전의 가곡미학을 극복하고자 하는 새로운 경향들이 나타나면서 이전까지 작법인 유절가곡이 아닌 통절 작곡 형식이 새롭게 떠오르기 시작하였다. 이렇게 완성된 예술가곡은 1835년경 이후부터 독일을 벗어나 다른 나라로도 전파되어, 각 나라의 음악적 특징에 맞는 독자성을 지니며 민족음악으로 자리잡는다. 그리하여 그 갈래의 하나가 한국에 이르게 된다. 독일 예술가곡의 개념과 정의 및 조건에 맞는 한국 최초의 예술가곡이 어떤 작품인가는 학자들의 견해에 따라 논란이 존재 한다. 그러나 이 관점은 예술가곡을 시와 음악의 등가의 결합을 전제로 보았을 때 우리 시문학사적 위상과 일치하는 시기이다. 한국 시문학사는 1930년대에 이르러서 성숙함이 묻어나면서 시인들은 창작 행위에 대한 확고한 자신의 색깔을 드러내기 시작했다. 이 시기에 전문적인 시인의 등장이 활발해지는데 이때 정지용을 대표적으로 꼽을 수 있다. 1932년 7월 동방평론 4호에 발표한 정지용의 시 `고향`에 작곡가 채동선이 곡을 붙였고, 채선엽이 독창을 맡았으며 반주는 김애식이 맡았다. 작곡가 채동선은 독일에서 정통으로 작곡을 공부하고 귀국하여 <고향>을 작곡하였고 시기적으로는 물론 예술가곡의 완성의 필요충분조건은 모두 갖춘 한국 최초의 예술가곡 그 효시로 비정할 수 있다. This study aims to clarify the beginning of the Korean art song by reviewing how the German art song "lied" was traditionally transferred and spread in Korea. As a genre of art that unites poetry and music, the art song was originally developed in German-speaking countries including Germany and Austria; the then composers put a melody on poems so that singers(vocalists) could sing the songs. Gretchen am Spinnrade by Franz Peter Schubert is considered the beginning of such a style of music. Since promulgating good poems was one of the composer`s missions then, music was viewed as subordinate to poems. As an outcome of cultural convergence through intermediality, however, the two independent forms of art, poetry and music, came to converge into a completely single genre, heralding a birth of a new music style. Since Shubert, composers were no longer a mere reciter exalting poems by putting melodies on rhythmical poetic language; instead, they served as a free interpreter of poems to express the sentiment beyond the lyrics musically. In an attempt to overcome the stereotype that regarded music simply as an aid to better understand poems, a new trend such as through-composed songs, away from traditional strophic songs, emerged. Those German art songs were widely disseminated beyond Germany since 1835, and took root in many areas as folk music combined with each country`s traditional musical hallmarks. Korea was no exception. With Korean art songs originated from Germany, scholars in the field have long disputed over which one is the first Korean art song that complied with the concept, definition, and conditions of the German lied. When we consider the art song as a fair combination of poetry and music, a hint can be found from the history of Korean poetry. Korean poetry began to mature in the 1930s with poets clearly expressing their own signature colors in their creations. Professional poets actively broke onto the art scene, and Ji-yong Jeong was one of them. Mr. Jeong released a poem titled "Home (Gohyang)" on No. 4 Dongbang Critique in July, 1932, and Dong-sun Chae, a composer, put a melody on it; later it was sung by Sun-yub Chae with the piano accompaniment by Ae-sik Kim. After studying composition officially in Germany, Dong-sun Chae returned to Korea and composed the song, meeting all of necessary and sufficient conditions of the German lied. In this sense, "Home (Gohyang)" can be regarded as the first Korean art song.

      • Redundant Multi-Valued Logic을 이용한 4.5 Gb/s CMOS Demultiplexer 구현

        This paper describes a high speed interface using redundant multi-valued logic for high speed communication ICs. This circuit is composed of encoding circuit that serial binary data are received and converted into parallel redundant multi-valued data to parallel binary data. Because of the multi-valued data conversion, this circuit makes it possible to achieve higher operating speeds than that of a conventional binary logic. Using this logic, a 1:4 DEMUX (Demultiplexer, serial-parallel converter) was designed using a 0.35um standard CMOS technology. Proposed DEMUX is achieved an operating speed of 4.5Gb/s with a supply voltage of 3.3V and with power consumption of 53mW. The operating speed of this circuit is limited by the maximum frequency which the 0.35um process has. Therefore, this circuit is to achieve COMS communication ICs with an operating speed greater than 10Gb/s in submicron process of high operating frequency.

      • 다중 문턱전압 CMOS를 이용한 저 전력 캐리 예측 가산기 설계

        This paper proposes a low-power carry look-ahead adder using multi-threshold voltage CMOS. The designed adder is compared with conventional CMOS adder. The propagation delay time is reduced by using low-threshold voltage transistor in the critical path. Also, the power consumption is reduced by using high-threshold voltage transistor in the shortest path. Comparing with the conventional CMOS circuit, the proposed circuit is achieved to reduce the power consumption by 14.71% and the power-delay-product by 16.11%. This circuit is designed with Samsung 0.35㎛ CMOS process. The validity and effectiveness are verified through the HSPICE simulation.
