Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) improves various physiological illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, depression, memory lapse, and insomnia in humans. Therefore, interest in the commercial production of GABA is steadily increasing. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) have widely been reported as a GABA producer and are safe for human consumption. In this study, GABA-producing LAB were preliminarily identified and quantified via GABase assay. The acid and bile tolerance of the L. plantarum FBT215 strain were evaluated. The one-factor-at-a-time (OFAT) strategy was applied to determine the optimal conditions for GABA production using HPLC. Response surface methodology (RSM) with Box-Behnken design was used to predict the optimum GABA production. The strain FBT215 was shown to be acid and bile tolerant. The optimization of GABA production via the OFAT strategy resulted in an average GABA concentration of 1688.65 ± 14.29 ㎍/ml, while it was 1812.16 ± 23.16 ㎍/ml when RSM was applied. In conclusion, this study provides the optimum culture conditions for GABA production by the strain FBT215 and indicates that L. plantarum FBT215 is potentially promising for commercial functional probiotics with health claims.

그리드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 네트워크를 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서는 자원 최적화가 필요하며 예약은 이를 실현할 효율적인 기법으로 연구되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 그리드 자원 예약 기법에서는 그리드상의 네트워크 대역폭이 해당 시간대에 이미 예약되어 있는 경우 원하는 대역폭을 예약할 수 없기 때문에 사용자는 대역폭을 낮추어 예약 하여야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트를 이용하여 대역폭 관리 서버에서 사용자가 요구한 대역폭과 시간대를 검색한 후 자원을 예약하는 네트워크 대역폭 예약 에이전트를 제안한다. 이 기법을 이용함으로써 자원 예약을 요청하는 호스트는 대역폭을 낮추어 예약해야만 하는 경우를 줄이고 대역폭을 효율적으로 예약 하게 된다.

고속전철에서의 전두 연결구조는 중련 또는 구원 시에 차량과 차량을 연결해주는 연결기 뿐만 아니라 전두 형상 결정 및 고속 주행 시 공력저항을 줄여주는 해치모듈이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 더욱이 협소한 공간에서 "철도차량 안전기준에 관한 지침" 별표 13의 표준충돌사고각본 세부기준이 요구하는 타고오름방지 장치 및 소형장애물 제거기 설치에 대한 국내 고속차량에 적용 사례가 충분치 못한 점을 감안, 공간을 효율적으로 활용하는 전두부 연결 구조에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 고속전철(HEMU-400)에 적용된 전두부 연결 구조를 이용하여 고속전철 제작사양서 및 "철도차량 안전기준에 관한 지침"을 만족하는 연결 구조를 확인하고 최적화하여 향후 동력분산식 고속전철 설계 및 제작에 활용하고자 한다. In addition, any cases of domestic high speed aren't sufficiently complete for installation of anti-climber device and obstacle deflector because the structure of front was studied about efficient use of space. This paper take advantage of the structure of front equipment applied to HEMU-400X, and it confirm to satisfy Technical Specification and the Law for Railroad safety. From now on, the designing and manufacturing for distributed high speed train is applied it by optimizing.

스마트폰의 보급률이 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으며, 모바일OS 중 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 것은 안드로이드이다. 안드로이드의 스토어에는 100만개가 넘는 앱이 존재하고, 그 중 대다수를 차지하고 있는 것이 무료 앱이다. 무료 앱은 장치 고유의 키를 사용하여 암호화 시켜 접근을 제어하는 유료 앱과 달리, 스마트폰에 설치 된 후 앱에 대한 접근 방지책이 없어 접근에 취약하다. 본 논문에서는 무료 앱접근에 대한 취약성을 분석하고 무료앱의 파일을 보호할 수 있는 대응방안을 마련하였다.
Characterization and Genomic Analysis of Novel Bacteriophage ΦCS01 Targeting Cronobacter sakazakii

Cronobacter sakazakii is an opportunistic pathogen causing serious infections in neonates. In this study, a bacteriophage ΦCS01, which infects C. sakazakii, was isolated from swine feces and its morphology, growth parameters, and genomic analysis were investigated. Transmission electron microscopy revealed that ΦCS01 has a spherical head and is 65.74 nm in diameter with a 98.75 nm contracted tail, suggesting that it belongs to the family Myoviridae. The major viral proteins are approximately 71 kDa and 64 kDa in size. The latent period of ΦCS01 was shown to be 60 min, and the burst size was 90.7 pfu (plaque-forming units)/ infected cell. Bacteriophage ΦCS01 was stable at 4-60°C for 1 h and lost infectivity after 1 h of heating at 70°C. Infectivity remained unaffected at pH 4-9 for 2 h, while the bacteriophage was inactivated at pH < 3 or >10. The double-stranded ΦCS01 DNA genome consists of 48,195 base pairs, with 75 predicted open reading frames. Phylogenetic analysis is closely related to that of the previously reported C. sakazakii phage ESP2949-1. The newly isolated ΦCS01 shows infectivity in the host bacterium C. sakazakii, indicating that it may be a promising alternative to antibacterial agents for the removal of C. sakazakii from powdered infant formulas.

Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) is the major pathogenic E. coli that causes diarrhea and edema in post-weaning piglets. In this study, we describe the morphology and characteristics of ØCJ19, a bacteriophage that infects ETEC, and performed genetic analysis. Phage ØCJ19 belongs to the family Myoviridae. One-step growth curve showed a latent phase of 5 min and burst size of approximately 20 phage particles/infected cell. Phage infectivity was stable for 2 h between 4℃ and 55℃, and the phage was stable between pH 3 and 11. Genetic analysis revealed that phage ØCJ19 has a total of 49,567 bases and 79 open reading frames (ORFs). The full genomic sequence of phage ØCJ19 showed the most similarity to an Escherichia phage, vB_EcoS_ESCO41. There were no genes encoding lysogeny, toxins, virulence factors, or antibiotic resistance in this phage, suggesting that this phage can be used safely as a biological agent to control ETEC. Comparative genomic analysis in terms of the tail fiber proteins could provide genetic insight into host recognition and the relationship with other coliphages. These results showed the possibility to improve food safety by applying phage ØCJ19 to foods of animal origin contaminated with ETEC and suggests that it could be the basis for establishing a safety management system in the animal husbandry.

In this study, we developed a pricing system that reflects the appraisal of the used car market transaction characteristics. appraisal system to correct the Registration date, options, mileage at the average market price. Also appraisal to correct the accident information, vehicle condition, special factors. The result, in the case of a normal vehicle is not departing from the average price range. If the accident history and the special factors that correction has been calculated as the lower of the average market price or less. Generally appraisal were rated somewhat lower than the dealer price sale. All differences -14.7~5.5%, the mean difference was -4.72%.

청소년기에는 초기 우식 병소를 진단 기준에 포함시키는 것이 더 유리하기에 본 연구에서는 WHO basic methods 와 ICDAS-II 점수를 활용하여 13세와 16세 청소년의 우식 상태를 조사하였다. 전체 우식경험영구치지수는 3.71, 우식영구치지수는 1.94이었으며 16세에서 13세보다 높았다. 군별로는 대구치, 소구치, 전치의 순으로 우식경험영구치지수와 우식영구치 지수가 높았다. 전체 치아의 ICDAS-II code 0은 77.46%이었으며, 후방치열로 갈수록 우식치아의 수가 증가하였다. 전치와 소구치의 우식은 모두 법랑질에 국한되었다. ICDAS-II 점수는 초기우식병소 발견에 용이하여 우식관리의 예방적 접근이 가능한 방법이다. Since it is favorable to include the incipient caries lesion in the diagnostic criteria in adolescence, this study had surveyed dental caries status of adolescents at ages of 13 and 16 by using WHO basic methods and ICDAS-II codes. In this study, mean DMFT index was 3.71, and mean DT index was 1.94. For both indices, the age 16 group showed higher values than the age 13 group. By groups of teeth, DMFT index and DT index exhibited highest to the lowest values in molar, premolar, and anterior teeth, respectively. 77.46% of total numbers of teeth were classified as code 0 in ICDAS-II. Compared to anterior teeth, numbers of decayed teeth were increased in posterior teeth. All caries lesions in anterior teeth and premolars were limited to enamel. ICDAS-II code is an useful method to detect the incipient caries lesion, allowing preventive control on caries management.
