The crystallization characteristics of the Fe_(80-x)Ni_xB_(20)(20≤x≤40) and (Fe_(0.5)Ni_(0.5))_(80-x)Bx(16≤x≤24) amorphous alloy systems have been investigated in detail using differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Measurements of the exothermic peak temperature (T_p) and the activation energy during crystallization were obtained by differential scanning calorimetry. In the Fe_(80-x)Ni_xB_(20) amorphous alloys activation energy for crystallization increased with increasing x, and in the (Fe_(0.5)Ni_(0.5))_(100-x)B_x amorphous alloys it decreased with increasing x. Two-step crystallization was observed in specimens with x≤18 of (Fe_(0.5)Ni_(0.5)(100-x)B_x alloys; amorphous→amorphous+γ-(FeNi)→γ-(FeNi)+o-(FeNi)₃B. By the X-ray diffraction, the phases of crystallization products of these amorphous alloys are (ⅰ)fcc-(Fe,Ni), t-(Fe,Ni)₃B or fcc-(Fe,Ni), o-(fe,Ni)₃B, t-(Fe,Ni)₃B for high Fe content, (ⅱ)fcc-(Fe,Ni) and o-(Fe,Ni)₃B for equal contents of Fe and Ni, and (ⅲ)o-(Fe,Ni)₃B for high B content.

Recently, the automotive industry has replaced cast iron to lightweight materials like aluminum for engine efficiency of automobiles and an emission control by government. In this paper we studied two auto parts manufacturing methods using an alloy of A356. That is gravity casting and H-NCM Rheo-diecasting forging. We analyzed the microstructure and mechanical properties for this method. In Microstructure analysis results, H-NCM Rheo-diecasting forging has more finer microstrucre and better forging effect. Resulting in better mechanical properties than gravity forging.

In this study, we investigated the performance of phytoremediation system treating wastewater containing high level of nutrients. Use of Acorus gramineus showed high removal efficiency for nitrogen (N) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) but low removal efficiency for phosphorus (P). The Overall N, P and COD removals efficiencies were 83.0-90.8.%, 12.8-40.6% and 72.6%, respectively. During the 9day operation of the system, The pH of effluent has significantly decreased comparing with raw water The mean pH of influent and effluent water was 6.0 and 7.0, respectively.

Over for the past 10 years, the increase in geometric progression for the internet traffic, has allowed the IP protocol framework to be the most important network technology. In addition, the internet service is being developed as a service mode differentiated, aiming to support the new-mode real-time multimedia services such as internet phone, video conference, cyber reality, and internet game, focusing on offering a latest service. These days, aiming to solve the need for broad bandwidth along with guaranteeing QoS, the WDM technology of offering multiple gigabit wavelengths is emerging as the core technology of next-generation optical internet backbone network. In the next-generation optical internet backbone network based on WDM, the QoS framework is one of fore subjects aiming to offer a service of guaranteeing QoS This study analyzes the requirements of performance related to QoS framework in IP Subnet and in WDM optical backbone network, and suggests optical QoS service framework differentiated. in order to guarantee end-to-end QoS through the next-generation optical internet backbone network, using GMPLS control protocol. 지난 10년간 인터넷 트래픽의 기하급수적인 증가는 IP 프로토콜 프레임워크를 가장 중요한 네트워크 기술로 만들었다. 더욱이, 인터넷 서비스는 최선형 서비스 제공 위주에서 인터넷 폰, 비디오 컨퍼런스, 가상 현실, 인터넷 게임과 같은 새로운 형태의 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스들을 QoS보장과 함께 지원하기 위해서 차등화된 서비스 형태로 발전하고 있다. 최근, QoS 보장과 함께 광 대역폭의 요구 해결을 위해 다중 기가비트 파장을 제공하는 WDM 기술이 차세대 광 인터넷 백본망의 중심 기술로 부상하고 있다. WDM 기반의 차세대 광 인터넷 백본망에서 QoS 프레임워크는 QoS 보장형 서비스를 제공하기 위한 핵심 과제 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 IP 서브망과 WDM 광 백본망에서 QoS 프레임워크와 관련된 성능 요구사항을 분석하고, GMPLS 제어 프로토콜을 이용하여 차세대 광 인터넷 백본망을 통해 종단간 QoS를 보장하기 위한 차등화된 광 QoS 서비스 프레임워크를 제안한다.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the most comon cause of death in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Long standing hypertension, volume overload, anemia and hyperliprlipidemia lead to dys- function of heart in these patients. Recently, lipo- protein(a) (Lp(a) ) reported as a major risk factor of ischemic heart disease and peripheral vascular disease. So we reviewed hyperlipidemic feature and serum Lp(a) concentrations of patients undergoing hemodialysis to evalualuate their functional and structural features of heart and the effects of hyperlipidemia and Lp(a) to the heart. The results are as followings'. 1) Serum Lp(a) concentrations are significantly higher in patients undergoing hemodialysis with 26.5?18.6 mg/dl than normal control subjects with 10.9?5.2 mg/dl (median value.' 22.05 mg/dl ' vs 10 mg/dl, p$lt;0.01). 2) Serum Lp(a) concentrations are significantly higher in patients with ischemic heart disease with 36.0?18.5 mg/dl than other patients with 14.9? 10.6 mg/dl (median value. 37 mg/dl vs 9.75 dl, p$lt;0.01) and show positive correlations with thickness of posterior wall of left ventricle and ejection fraction (r=0.61, r=0.49). Serum triglyc- eride concentrations show positive correlations with ejection fraction (r=0.52), serum cholesterol concentrations show positive correlatior with thickness of posterior wall of left ventricle and ejection fraction (r = 0.50, r = 0.48) and apolipo- protein A I concentrations show negative correla- tions with internal dimension of left atrium during diastole(r = 0.54) 3) Serum Lp(a) concentrations are significantly higher in patients with occlusion of arteriovenous fistula with 39.9?17.1 mg/dl than other patients with 21.5?16.8 mg/dl (median value'. 37.5 mg/dl vs 15 mg/dl, p$lt;0.01) and show positive correla- tions with thickenss of posterior wall of left ventri- cle and ejection fraction (r=0.51, r=0.65) and negative correlations with internal dimension of left atrium during diastole(r= 0.67). Triglyceride and cholesterol correlate positively with ejection fraion (r=0.49, r=0.65), and LDL cholesterol shows positive correlations with thickness of pos- terior wall of left ventricle and ejection fraction (r =0.57, r=0.70). 4) Serum Lp(a) concentrations are significantly higher in patients with arrhythmia with 30.2?20.2 mg/dl than other patients with 17.9?10.0 mg/dl (median value'. 33 mg/dl vs 15.8 mg/dl, p$lt;0.01), serum cholesterol (172.3?67.5 mg/dl vs 130.3? 22.3 mg/dl, p$lt;0.01) and LDL cholesterol(79.5? 34.6 mg/dl vs 59.1?17.6 mg/dl, p$lt;0.05) concen- trations are higher in patients with arrhythmia than other patients. Concentrations of triglyceride and cholesterol show positive correlation ehection fraction (r =0.48, r = 0.70) in patients with arrhythmia. From above results, we suggest that hyperlipidemia may acclerate the cardiovascular disease and Lp(a) may influence to the development of cardiovascular complications and survival of arteriovenous fistula in the patients undergoing hemodialysis.

회분식 고분자 중합반응기에서 Na₂S₂O₄ 수용액상과 CCl₄ 유기상 접촉계면을 통한 액-액 불균일상계에서 tricaprylmethyl-ammonium chloride 상이동촉매를 사용하여 25℃, 질소기류하에서 acrylonitrile과 methylmethacrylate 단량체의 공중합 반응 실험을 행하여 초기 공중합속도를 측정하였다. 초기 공중합속도는 상이동촉매와 Na₂S₂O₄의 초기 농도항으로 나타내기보다는 수용액상에 존재하는 상이동촉매와 S₂O₄^(-2) 이온농도가 결합된 항으로 나타낸 [Q^+]_w[S₂O₄^(-2)]_w^½와 CCl₄의 제곱근과 단량체의 공급농도비에 정비례하였다. 측정한 초기 공중합속도를 사용하여 액-액 불균일계 접촉계면을 통한 공중합 반응기구를 해석하였다. The phase-transfer radical copolymerization of acrylonitrile with methylmethacrylate by tricaprylmethyl-ammonium chloride were investigated in a Na₂S₂O₄ aqueous-CCl₄organic two-phase system at 25℃ and under nitrogen atmosphere. The initial rate of copolymerization was found to be proportional to the concentration of [Q^+]_w, [S₂O₄^(-2)]_w^½, [CCl₄]_φ^½ and the molar ratio of feed of monomers. The observed initial rates of copolymerization were used to analyzed the copolymerization mechanism proposed with a cyclic phase-transfer initiation step.

Despite of the anatomic proximity of the pancreatic tail to the splenic hilum, intrasplenic pancreatic pseudocyst is one of the least common complications of the pancreatic pseudocyst with about 20 cases reported previously in the world literature. Clinical manifestations and laboratory findings of splenic involvement are not distinguishable from pancreatic pseudocyst itself except the frequency of the left quadrant abdominal pain or mass. Abdominal ultrasonography, computerized tomography, or selective arteriography is needed to diagnose splenic involvement. Early diagnosis and proper surgical intervention are advocated because of its high vulnerability of life-threatening complications such as splenic rupture, hemorrhage from eroded splenic vessels, splenic infarction or necrosis. Here we are reporting a case of pancreatic pseudocyst complicated by a splenic pseudocyst. A brief review of the literature was attempted.
