        <B>Graphic Abstract</B> <P>The cover shows an image of fully rollable transparent nanogenerators synthesized using chemical vapor deposition grown large-scale graphene sheets as transparent electrodes and piezoelectric ZnO nanorod arrays. Sang-Woo Kim, Jae-Young Choi, and co-workers report on p. 2187 the electrical and structural stability of the nanogenerators, with excellent charge scavenging performance under external mechanical loads such as bending and rolling.         열공형과 비열공형 피질하 혈관성 치매에서 위험인자의 차이에 관한 비교 연구

        Backgrounds and Objectives: Vascular dementia is a group of dementing disoders arising from various stroke syndrome. Among these. subcortical ischemic vascular dementia (SIVD) is regarded as a relatively distinct clinical entity. However, MRI patterns of SIVD are not homogenous. In some patients, lacunes are dominant, and in others, subcortical white matter changes are. This study was designed to compare risk factor profiles between SIVD with and without multiple lacunes. Methods: We divided 47 subjects (22 males, mean age. 68 years) recruited from VADAPET (Multicenter Trial For Evaluation Of The Changes In the PET Images Of Subcortical Vascular Dementia Patient) study into two groups one with more than 5 lacunes in deep gray matter (lacune group) and the other with 5 or less(non-lacune group) Clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of two groups were compared. Results: Nineteen of 47 patients (40%) belonged to the lacune group. The lacune and non-lacune groups d d not differ in the following variables: age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia heart disease, history of stroke or TIA, history of trauma or major surgery, family history of hypertension stroke, or dementia, age at diagnosis of dementia, body mass index, white blood cell count, ESR, CRP, fibrinogen, hemoglobin A1C, total cholesterol. LDL cholesterol creatinine, proteinuria, glucosuria, and microhematuria. However, male sex, smoking alcohol. hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were possibly associated more with lacune group SIVD than with non-lacune group (p<0 1) Multivariate analyses revealed that smoking, hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol were independent predictors of SIVD with multiple lacunes Conclusion: Our study suggests that SIVD with multiple lacunes may be significantly different in smoking habits hemoglobin, and HDL cholesterol from SIVD without multiple lacunes.

        Consideration of Diluents Selection and Input Amounts of the Hunter Process for Tantalum Production

        Tantalum (Ta) is a heavy refractory metal with an atomic weight of 180.95 g/mol, a density of 16.6 g/cm3, and a high meltingpoint of 3017 °C. With its refractory characteristics, it shows excellent chemical and physical stability as well as corrosionand heat resistance at elevated temperatures. The demand for Ta metal and related compounds is increasing with the expansionof the electronics and chemical industries. The Hunter process was proven to be effective in producing Ta powder in1953. Hunter proposed a method in which potassium heptafluorotantalate (K2TaF7) was reduced by sodium (Na). Thus far,this process has been the primary commercial method to produce Ta powder. In this study, quantitative differences wereanalyzed for diluent selection. Additionally, consideration was given to changes in the caloric value depending on the inputamount of diluents. Finally, the optimum material input and the properties of the prepared Ta were analyzed. Stoichiometricratios of K2TaF7(1 mol), NaCl (6.2–6.7 mol), Na (5–7 mol) were weighed, to perform a metallothermic reduction reaction. After the reaction, the tantalum powder was recovered and the flush process was carried out. After that, it was dried in avacuum atmosphere. Physical properties such as oxygen concentration, PSA, ICP-OES, and XRD of powder were conductedto evaluate the characteristics of Ta powder that was finally manufactured.

      • C 의과대학에서 문제강의에 대한 학생들의 직접평가가 강의개선에 미친 영향

        연구목적: 팀티칭에 근거한 통합강의는 최근 대부분의 의과대학에서 시행되는 강의형태이다. 그러나 기 존에 사용되고 있는 온라인 강의평가 방식은 이러한 강의 특성에서 나타나는 문제점을 파악하기 힘든 점이 있다. 본 대학에서는 팀티칭에 의한 통합강의에서 문제강의를 직접적으로 파악하는 ‘문제강의 직 접평가지’를 개발하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 새로이 개발된 문제강의 직접평가지가 강의개선에 끼친 영 향력을 알아보고자 하는 것이었다. 연구방법: 2007년 2학기부터 2009년 2학기까지 충북대학교 의과대학 1, 2학년을 대상으로 문제강의 직접평가지에 의한 강의평가를 실시하였다. 평가지 질문 중에서 두 가지 객관식 질문에 대한 답변을 분 석대상으로 선택하였다. 질문은 첫째, ‘가장 유익하고 도움이 많이 되었던 강의들은 무엇입니까?’와 둘 째, ‘가장 어렵거나 이해하기 힘들었던 강의들은 무엇입니까?’였다. 강의평가를 실시한 강좌들 중에서 2 년 이상 연속적으로 강좌구조와 평가지의 객관식 질문 형식이 변하지 않은 14개의 강좌를 분석대상으로 하였다. 각각 연도의 평균 긍정비율을 다른 연도의 것과 카이제곱 검정 방법을 사용하여 비교하였다. 결과: 14개의 강좌 중에서 시작연도와 마침 연도 간에 긍정비율이 증가된 경우는 13개 강좌였다. 그 러나 통계적으로 의미가 있는 경우는 5개 강좌에서 나타났다. 결론: 문제강의 직접평가지에 의한 문제강의를 판별해 내는 방법은 단기간에 통합강좌의 개선에 효과 적이다.

      • 재삽입을 수행하는 고차원 색인 구조를 위한 효율적인 동시성 제어 알고리즘

        본 논문에서는 기존의 동시성 제어 기법들을 분석하고 CIR-트리를 위한 효율적인 동시성 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존에 다차원 색인구조에 대한 동시성 제어 기법으로 제시된 ??-트리는 다른 기법들에 비해 동시성 효율이 우수한 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 ??-트리를 CIR-트리에 그대로 적용할 경우 두 가지 문제점이 발생된다. 첫째는, CIR-트리의 성능 향상에 중요한 요소가 되는 재삽입에 대한 동시성 제어를 ??-트리에서 고려하지 않고 있다. 둘째는, ??-트리는 동시성 수준의 한계가 있는 잠금 결합 기법을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문은 두 가지 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 새로운 동시성 제어 알고리즘을 제안하며, 제안된 동시성 제어 알고리즘의 정확성을 증명한다. 또한, 제안한 알고리즘이 기존의 알고리즘에 비해 성능이 우수함을 실험을 통해서 보인다. In this paper we analyze existing concurrency control methods and propose an efficient concurrency control algorithm for CIR-tree. Among the existing concurrency control methods for multidimensional index structures, ??-Tree is one of the most efficient concurrency control algorithm. However, when we apply ??-Tree to the CIR-tree, there are two problems. First ??-Tree does not consider concurrency control for reinsertion operations that are main factor of performance improvement in the CIR-tree. Second since the ??-Tree uses lock-coupling strategy, it limits concurrency of the CIR-tree. The proposed concurrency control algorithm overcomes the two problems. We show the correctness of our proposed currency control algorithm. It is also shown through experiments that our algorithm outperforms the existing algorithms.

      • 手拈散煎湯液이 Streptozotocin으로 誘發된 實驗動物의 膵臟損傷에 미치는 影響

        Sujoˇmsan(수점산) is used in treatmint of Bi-Sim-Tong(脾心痛) and pancreatitis. This study has been carried out to investigate effect of Sujoˇmsan extract on analgesia, antiinflammation, complete blood cell count, glucose level, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) level, amylase level in the pancreatic damage of experimental animal induced by stretozotocin. The result were obtained as follows. 1. On the experiment of analgesic effect of Sujoˇmsan extract, the writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid was reduced by administration of Sujoˇmsan extract. In the pancreatic damage of mice induced by streptozotocin, the writhing symdrome induced by acetic acid was reduced, too. 2. Anti-inflammatory effects were increased by administration of Sujoˇmsan extract on the edema of the hind paw in rats induced by acetic acid. In the pancreatic damage of rats induced by streptozotocin, anti-inflammatory effects were increased, too. 3. In the pancreatic damage of rats induced by streptozotocin, the WBC count, glucose level, LDH level and the amylase level were decreased. but hemoglobin and hicatocrit were increased comparing with control group by administration of Sujoˇmsan extract. According to these results, Sujoˇmsan extract may be used for curing in the pancreatic damage.

        SJO¨GREN'S SYNDROME 환자에게 즉시 임프란트 술식을 행한 치험례

        The old edentulous patients experience xerostomia commonly. They have considerable difficulty in wearing tissue-supported prosthesis and high risk rate of caries. One of them is Sj□gren's syndrome patient. Sj□gren's syndrome is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder that results in a lymphocyte-mediated destruction of exocrine glands. We planned to place implants immediately after extraction in this case of autoimmune disease. The advantages of immediate implant placement include considerable decrease in time from tooth extraction to placement of the final prosthesis, fewer surgical procedures, and better acceptance of the overall treatment plan. We present a case of Sj□gren's syndrome patient treated with immediate implant placement & immediate loading in anterior region and immediate implant placement in posterior region.

        昌德宮 樂善齋後園 一園의 立地와 空間構成에 關한 硏究

        This study aims to discuss the characteristics of location and spatial organization of the rear garden Naksonjae in Changdok palace. To do this, we studied in two ways; analysis of the present conditions and photographing, research materials about the form of physical structure and review of historical documents. The result of analysis in the sight of the location and spatial structure was good matched. At the beginning, the neighbor on rear garden Naksonjae only had spaces for the Crown Prince in Changdokkung but after 1847, shows transitional pattern that the king Hunjong’s private space and attached space were added. The spatial organization of the neighbor on rear garden Naksonjae was divided into entrance, madang, building, backyard, flower terrace, dongsan. In the neighbor on rear garden Naksonjae was imported borrowed scenery of surrounding landscape and while placed arranging various constituent elements of the small-scale building, decorated walls, small doors between walls, stoneworks and chimney in trying to formalize the landscape. The result of this study, the political and social, technical phenomena which constitute the physical construction pattern affected the locational property and the spatial organizaion of the neighbor on rear garden Naksonjae.

      • 응답특성 개선을 위한 강인한 적응제어기의 개발

        This paper introduces a new approach to adaptive control using a combination of direct, indirect and variable structure method. A new variable structure input is derived to counteract the effects of disturbances. Direct input is used to have fast response and indirect input improves the transient behavior of the system. Computer simulation results illustrate the very satisfactory performance of the proposed algorithm.

      • 경사각에 따른 자리 진동 히트파이프의 열전달특성에 관한 연구

        In this paper, heat transfer characteristics of a self-oscillating heat pipe were experimentally investigated for the effect of inclination angle and heat loads. This type of heat pipe consists of a heating section, a cooling section and an adiabatic section. The heat pipe used has a 0.002m internal diameter, a 0.34m length in one turn and consists of 19 turns. Each of the heating and cooling section has a length of 70mm. Experiments were performed to measure the temperature distributions and the pressure variation of the heat pipe according to inclination angle. Based on the experimental results, the heat transfer ability of the self-oscillating heat pipe seems to improved with the increase of the inclination angle.
