This paper proposes a simplified DC calculation method for simplified depth coding (SDC) mode of 3D High Efficiency Video Coding (3D-HEVC) to reduce the computational complexity. For the computational complexity reduction, the current reference software of 3D-HEVC employs reference samples sub-sampling method. However, accumulation, branch, and division operations are still utilized and these operations increase computational complexity. The proposed method calculates DC value without those operations. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves 0.1% coding gain for synthesized views in common test condition (CTC) with the significantly reduced number of computing operations.

지역축제의 만족도에 관한 연구 : 청도 소싸움축제를 대상으로 Focused on Bull Fighting Festival in Chungdo

The purpose of this study is to measure the degree of satisfaction on the bull fighting festival held in Chungdo and to identify the attributed which affect tourists' expectation and satisfaction. The research findings can be summarized as follows: Firstly, spectators are turned out to be students and those who are involved with professional jobs in service industry ranging from 20 to 30 year old. Secondly, those who joined in bull fighting festival get the information on the festival through newspaper or media, and most of them make one-day trip without spending a night in Chungdo. In terms of tourist expenditure. they spend 10 yto 60 thousand won in average purely for the festival. Apart from the festival, Chungdo Yongam spa and Woonmun temple are found do be one the most favourable tourist destinations. Lastly, 'uniqueness' indicating heterogeneity to other festivals took the highest value among the contending attributes in both expectation and satisfaction. The attributes which have higher degree of satisfaction than that of expectation were 'high involvement' and 'communication', while it was vice versa in the case of 'convenience' attribute. In conclusion, the festival is likely to attract more tourists if more convenient facilities and other environments are installed and improved. Nevertheless, most of the tourists turned out to be satisfied with the Chungdo bull fighting festival due to its uniqueness and high involvement.

Korean is exposed to a rapid growth in economy and considerable amount of time for leisure. There's no doubt that leisure industry is playing a significant role in making our lives enjoyable and therefore leading a quality life. In a range of research, it has been shown that the essence of leisure functions properly when the degree of leisure satisfaction is high. In this sense, this study intended to identify the problems or restrictions on undertaking leisure activity experienced by Kyongju University students. The research findings and their implications are summarized as follows. Firstly, the student's relative expenditure on leisure is rather high compared to other expenditures, which is likely to mislead to unnecessary and unreasonable spending behaviour. Secondly, overall students responded to the survey have shown slightly negative view and concern upon leisure activity undertaken by other Koreans. Lastly, students consider leisure as relaxation and social function at the same time, which is contradictory within the leisure context. The results implies that systematic and in-depth education on the leisure is required in order to make students understand leisure appropriately and involve with favourable leisure activities in the long-term perspectivel.
문화 이벤트의 관광자원화 방안에 관한 연구 : 신라문화제를 대상으로 focused on Shillamunwhaje

The purpose of this study is to deal with some problems in the execution of the Shillamunwhaje sponsored by Kyongju City and to probe for some ways to exploit the festival as wholesome tourism resources. Among the problems revealed in this study are the contents and organization of programs or performances, the period of the festival, the organization of participants, the choice of places for the performances, the problems of public relations in ways and means. As a result of this study, the following suggestions are needed for the successful exploitation of the festival as wholesome tourism resources: 1. To define the festival as one of most characteristic cultural events. 2. To adjust the period of the festival for the participants and tourist. 3. To awaken the authorities concerned and the participants to the sense of responsibility and to make every effort to earn substantial income. 4. To gain support from the government, school, broadcasting companies and the press, and institutions. 5. To be regardful of the period and method and media of public rslation, and especially of the target of public relations and to perform the public relations well before the execution of the festival. 6. To be mindful of the choice of place for the performances with special regard for accessibility, safety, capacity, and facilities. 7. To secure ample ways and means. Successful execution of the festival can not be expected with scant ways and means.

OBJECTIVES:This study examined the association between high risk of Internet gaming disorder (IGD) and online game genres used by adolescents. METHODS: The data derived from the baseline data of the Internet user Cohort for Unbiased Recognition of gaming disorder in Early Adolescence. A total 1,532 middle school students who use online games included. The participants reported the names of the online games they used during the past year. Game genres were categorized into role playing games (RPGs), shooting, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), simulation, arcade, sports and action games. The risk of IGD was measured using the Internet Gaming Use-Elicited symptom Screen. The relationship between the experience of online game genre and high risk of IGD was analyzed using multiple logistic regression model. RESULTS: The game time of a student was longer if he or she had an experience of RPGs, shooting games, MOBA games, simulation games, and action games. The direct and independent association between high risk of IGD in adolescents and the genres of RPGs, simulation games and MOBA were found to be odds ratios 1.52 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.03 to 2.26); 1.59 (95% CI, 1.03 to 2.45); and 1.51 (95% CI, 1.03 to 2.21), respectively after adjusted the potential confounding variables and the use of other online game genres. CONCLUSIONS: The present cross-sectional study has found an association between online game genres and the risk of IGD in adolescents attending a school. A cohort study should verify the causal association in future.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P><B>Introduction</B></P> <P>Traditional Korean medicine (TKM) has a long history in the treatment of infertility. Many infertile couples are choosing TKM as a primary or adjuvant therapeutic tool to treat infertility in Korea. The purpose of this review was to summarize and evaluate the results on effectiveness and safety from literature published on traditional Korean medicine (TKM) infertility support programs with regards to spontaneous pregnancy rates (SPR) in infertile women in Korea.</P> <P><B>Methods</B></P> <P>Pertinent studies and reports conducted from 2009 to 2015 were collected from the Association of Korean Medicine. The primary outcome was live birth rate (LBR); the secondary outcomes were clinical pregnancy rate (CPR), ongoing pregnancy rate (OPR), adverse events (AEs).</P> <P><B>Results</B></P> <P>Seven prospective studies (324 participants) were identified. We found that the total LBR (three studies, n=90) was 21.1%, OPR (five studies, n=236) was 18.6%, and CPR (six studies, n=277) was 24.9% after TKM treatment for three to six months. Only one study reported mild AEs of constipation, nausea, and heartburn.</P> <P><B>Conclusions</B></P> <P>This review suggests that TKM could be an effective option for infertile women. Further rigorously designed studies are needed to confirm the effectiveness and safety of TKM treatment in infertile women.</P>
