        비만 개선 효과를 지닌 탄수화물 및 지방 흡수 억제 기능성 식이조성물 개발

        In a previous study, we developed a new food additive as an egg yolk antibody (IgY) against carbohydrate digestion enzymes for the regulation of blood glucose level and weight control. The IgY delayed and decreased the increment of blood glucose level after administration of sucrose in human being by 30% in 20∼30 min. We also developed a lipase inhibitor as a water extract of two kinds of herb, Platycodon grandiflorum and Solanum melongena. Twenty three volunteers were subjected to the intake of the egg yolk IgY plus the herbal extracts for 50 days. In average, the treated subjects appeared to lose 1.96 ㎏ of body weight and 3.4 ㎏ of body fat mass during the treated period. Furthermore, Panniculus adiposus and breech size were significantly decreased during the experimental period. Above results suggested that the administration of the dietary additives composed of egg yolk IgY and natural herbal extract improve the obesity by the decrement of body weight and body fat mass.

      • 우리나라 관세자유지역의 효율적인 운영방안

        This paper aims to suggest the ideal models of establishing and managing Customs Free Zone(CFZ) through advanced cases and experiences of several leading countries. The study selected Germany, Hongkong, Singapore, USA, and UK as the case countries, which have some different schemes in systematizing CFZ according to economic structures, customs systems, balance of trade payment, geopolitical location and so on. Korea is planning to introduce CFZ at Pusan port in 2001 and offer attractive investment environments to foreigners with geographical and strategic advantages in the Eastern Asia. However, CF2s success or failure does not depend on declarations and catch phrases but reliable plans to provide more attractive incentives than foreign countries?by benchmarking their effective CFZ management and techniques. It is concluded that our government presents diverse inducements that provide the investors with incentives such as the alleviations of strict investment restrictions and tax burdens, the guarantee of free business activities and the total exemptions from tariffs and value added tax against the carried goods in th area. In addition to this, the nation will have to cooperate with local governments consistently and amicably.

      • 고속 HMC 이송계의 운동특성 평가 및 운동오차 예측

        Recently, the evolution in production techniques (e.g. high-speed milling) and the complex shapes involved in modern production design has been increasingly popular. The key to the achievement is a drastic improvement of the dynamic behavior of the machine tool axes used in production machinery. The more complex these tool paths the higher the speed and acceleration requirements. But it is very difficult to reach the target for high speed machine tool because of the limitations of servo system and motion control system. However the direct drive design of machine tool axes, which is based on linear motors and which recently appeared on the market, is a viable candidate to meet the ever increasing demands, because of these advantages such as no backlash, less friction, more mechanical simplicity and very higher acceleration and velocity comparing to the traditional system. This paper focused on the performance tests of the high speed horizontal machine tool based on linear motor. Especially, dynamic characteristics were investigated through circular test and circular form machining test is carried out considering many important parameter. Therefore these several experiments is used to be evaluated the model for prediction of circular motion error and circular machined error.

        혐기 및 2단 교호(交互) 간헐포기조를 이용한 하수고도처리에 관한 연구 : 파일럿 규모의 실험결과를 중심으로 A Pilot-scale Study

        The performance of a newly designed wastewater treatment process equipped with an anaerobic and two intermittent aeration tanks operated alternately was investigated. During the experimental period, several types of cyclic operating schedules with different aeration and non aeration time were examined for the optimization. At all modes, the removals of organic matter and SS were highly achieved. With respect to T-N removal, however, the cycle length for aeration on/off affected the efficiencies. At the optimal operating mode, the ORP bending point indicating the disappearance of nitrate was observed. Considering the influent wastewater characteristics and cyclic operating schedules, it can be suggested that T-P removal is much more BOD/T-P ratio and/or its load dependant rather than the aeration on/off time. The results obtained from pilot-scale test showed the competitive advantage of this alternating process through an omission of nitrate recycle and operational flexibility against influent load variations when comparing with other continuous flow processes.

        Though in some respects the changes in the iron industry's system of production which were involved in the industrial revolution were less radical than the changes in the cotton industry, there is not the slightest excuse to the great importance of the iron industry. In short, the iron industry played a role in Britain industrialisation that was both pervasive and stimulating. It provided cheaply and abundantly the commodity on which, more than on any other single material except coal, modern industry was to depend for its essential equipment. Nineteenth-century industrialisation may indeed have been started by the textile innovations of the end of the eighteenth century. But continuous industrialisation depended on the availability of coal and iron, and would have been inconceivable without the steam-engine and the technical progress in the iron industry which also took effect in the last three decades or so of the eighteenth century. This study aims that estimates the British iron and steel trade trend and examines what it means.

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.

      • 프레스 금형의 특징형상 인식에 의한 가공데이타 자동변환

        This paper presents an automatic conversion of machining data from the orthographic views of press mold by feature recognition rule. The system includes following 6 modules : separation of views, function support, dimension text check and feature processing modules. The characteristic of this system is that with minimum user intervention, it recognizes basic features such as holes, slots, pockets and clamping parts and thus automatically converts CAD drawing details of press mold into machining data using 2D CAD system instead of using an expensive 3D Modeler. The system is developed by using IBM-PC in the environment of AutoCAD R12, AutoLISP and MetaWare High C. Performance of the system is verified as a good interfacing of CAD and CAM when applied to a lot of sample drawing.

        Miniaturization is the central theme in modem fabrication technology. Many of the components used in modern products are becoming smaller and smaller. The direct write FIB technology has several advantages over contemporary micromachining technology, including better feature resolution with low lateral scattering and capability of maskless fabrication. Therefore, the application of focused ion beam(FIB) technology in micro fabricaton has beome increasingly popular. In recent model of FIB, however the feeding system has been a very coarse resolution of about a few μm. It is not unsuitable to the sputtering and the deposition to make the high-precision structure in micro or macro scale. Our research is the development of nano stage of 200mm strokes and 10nm resolutions. Also, this stage should be effectively operating in ultra high vacuum of about 1×10^(-5)pa. This paper presents the concept of nano stages and the discussion of the material treatment for ultra high vacuum.

      • 비·부비동에 발생한 모균증 : 3례보고

        Sinonasal mucormycosis is a form of invasive fungal infection of the sinonasal track that often extends to the orbit, brain, and palate. It is caused by the order Mucorales and commonly associated with immuconcompromised conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, HIV infection, hematologic malignancy. Treatment includes aggressive debridement, systemic antifungal therapy and control of underlying factors. We experienced 3 cases of sinonasal mucormycosis: rhino-orbital, isolated sphenoid sinus, palatal mucormycosis. Each patients had undergone wide surgical debridement including a case with orbital exenteration and systemic antifungal therapy. We present our successful management with literature reviews. 비·부비동에 발생하는 모균증은 안와, 두 개내, 또는 구개 침범이 흔한 진균성 감염이고 mucorales종의 일종으로 당뇨병케토산증이나 AIDS환자, 혈액 악성종양과 같이 면역이 저하된 환자에게서 주로 발생한다. 치료로는 환자의 원인 요소를 치료하고 광범위한 수술적 절제와 장기간의 항진균제의 사용이 이용되고 있지만 치료효과가 만족하지 못하다. 저자들은 안구를 침범하여 안구를 제거한 경우, 장기간의 두통을 호소한 환자에게서 발견된 접형동 단독의 감염 사례, 그리고 구개를 침범하여 구개의 일부를 절제한 사례를 경험하였고 광범위한 감염부위의 절제와 장기간의 항진균제 치료를 이용하여 완치하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.
