      • 아가리쿠스 버섯(Agaricus blazei Murill)의 效能 및 硏究動向에 대한 考察

        Basidiomycete, Agaricus blazei murill has grown Brazil naturally. It was first cultivated 1997 in Korea. Proteoglycan or polysaccharide which have the effect of immunopotency and anticancer were extracted from it. From the mycelium of cultivated mushroom, were extracted lectin, linoleic acid, FⅢ-2-b, and simmilar to glucomannan from fruit body of Basidiomycete Agaricus blazei. Fruit body was more studied than mycelium. The experiments were most in vivo study. The effect were shown on S-180, MethA tumor, Ehrlich ascites carcinoma, Shionogi carcinoma 42, Meth A fibrosarcoma by transferation of tumor cell line, specially effectiveness on the S-180. About immunopotenciation, were shown as activation of NK cell, pancreatic T-cell, helper T cell, enhancement of population of cytotoxity T cell. It was effect on the MethA tumor cells in vitro cell cytotoxity and has induction of apoptosis. Forthermore cytotoxity of many other tumor cell line, angiognensis, cell cycle studies will be needed.

        이식형 인공중이 시스템을 위한 고효율 차동 전자 트랜스듀서의 설계

        이식형 인공중이에 사용되는 일반적인 전자기 방식의 진동 트랜스듀서에 비하여 두 개의 소형 영구자석을 같은 극끼리 접착한 후 코일내부에 위치시킨 차동 전자 트랜스듀서는 효율이 높고 코일-영구자석간의 공극조정이 필요 없으며 외부의 자기장에 대하여 영향을 받지 않는 특성을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 차동 전자 트랜스듀서를 이식형 인공중이 시스템에 사용하기 위하여 입력전류에 대하여 진동력의 크기를 최대화시킬 수 있는 효율적인 구조를 제안 해석하였다. 유한요소 해석을 통하여 가장 효율적인 코일과 자석의 길이 비를 도출하였고 소리신호 전달을 위한 트랜스듀서의 필요 진동력을 산출한 후 트랜스듀서 발생 진동력을 해석하였다. 그리고 실제 이소골에 이식할 수 있는 크기의 트랜스듀서를 제작하기 위한 설계상수를 추출하였다. 계산된 설계상수를 이용하여 이식 가능한 크기로 트랜스듀서를 구현한 후 무부하 실험과 사체 부하 실험을 실시하여 제작된 트랜스듀서가 실제 중등이상 고도난청자를 위한 이식형 인공중이 시스템에 사용될 수 있음을 증명하였다. The differential electromagnetic transducer for IME(implantable middle ear) system, which have two small permanent magnets glued with the same pole facing each other in the coil, has high vibration efficiency and does not influenced by external magnetic field. In this paper, using finite element method, highly efficient structure of the transducer was proposed and vibration force of the transducer was calculated by electromagnetic theory. And the necessary vibration force of transducer to transmit the sound signal to inner ear when the transducer is attached at stapes was calculated and the design parameters of the transducer were investigated. Using the parameters, the differential electromagnetic transducer was manufactured in small size to implant in confined human middle ear. And it was examined by unloaded and loaded vibration experiment using temporal bone sampled from cadaver.

        뮤코다당증(Mucopolysaccharidosis)환아의 치은 증식

        뮤코다당증(Mucopolysaccharidosis, MPS)은 gIycosaminoglycans (GAGs)의 분해에 필요한 라이소좀 효소(lysomal enzymes)의 결함으로 GAGs의 대사 산물이 세포의 라이소좀내에 축적되어 점차 세포와 조직, 기관의 기능 이상을 초래하고 신체 질환과 정신 발달 지연을 가져오는 질환이다. 본 증례는 심각한 치은 증식을 가진 뮤코다낭증 환아를 전신 마취 하에 치은 절제술을 시행한 치험례이다. 소아치과 의사는 뮤코다당증 환아의 구강내 증상과 치과 치료시 주의 사항에 대해 숙지해야 하고, 내과의와 연계하여 환아의 전신 상태 변화에 민감하게 대처하여 치과 치료를 시행해야 한다. Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) is a disorder of storage in which there is excessive accumulation of glycosaminoglycans(GAGs) from lysosomal enzyme defect. Lysosomal accumulation of GAGs eventually results in cell, tissue and organ dysfunction. This patient may manifest mental retardation and physical disorders. This clinical report presents a girl with MPS having severe gingival hyperplasia. Gingivectomy was performed under general anesthesia. The pediatric dentist must be aware of oral manifestations present in the MPS. The approach to dental management will require teamwork between the dentist and the patient' s physician.

        The ramsdellite, Li₂Ti₃O_(7) was prepared by reacting, in air, mixtures of Li₂CO₃ and TiO₂ by calcination at 1050℃, for 12 hrs and was examined a possibility to use as an anode material. Li₂Ti₃O_(7) showed a discharge capacity of 120~140 mAh/g with good cycle ability during the 20 charge/discharge cycles in a Li/1M LiPF6〔in EC-DEC (1:1 by volume)〕Li₂Ti₃O_(7) cell at a current density of 0.15 mA/㎠ and the voltage range 0.5 ~ 3.0V.

        복어중독에 의한 가사 상태에서 소생한 1예

        Tetrodotoxin is a neurotoxin produced by about 90 species of puffer fish and causes paralysis of central nervous system and peripheral nerves by blocking the movement of all monovalent cation. Ingestion of tetrodotoxin produces clinical manifestations such as paresthesias(within 10-45 min), vomiting, lightheadedness, salivation, muscle twitching, dysphagia, difficulty in speaking, convulsion and death that expressed by cardiopulmonary arrest with loss of brain stem reflex sometimes. Tetrodotoxin prevents or delays ischemia induced neuronal death by way of following 3 mechanisms. Firstly, it reduces the energy demand of the brain tissues. Secondly, it delays or even prevents anoxic depolarization. Finally, it deminishes ischemia induced cell swelling and cerebral edema. We report a case of puffer fish poisoning which presented with cardiopulmonary arrest and loss of brain stem reflex, but completely recovered by aggressive cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

        There was much debate about "Inmulseongdonglee(人物性同異)" in the eighteenth century. But it was the natural process for change of idea in the those days when the demand toward modernization was strong. Since the theorists of "Inmulseongdonglee(人物性同異)" who have been estimated much lower than the ones of "Inmulseongdonglee(人物性同異)", or kept at a distance by investigators, I hope to explain the value of persons, "Inmulseongdonglee(人物性同異)", who tried to play important roles from the middle to modern ages, with the feature of conservative intellectual as seen through "Inmulseongdonglee(人物性同異)", written by Lee dong-yun(이동윤)During from the post the eighteenth to the early the nineteenth century, not only the result of prosperity and stability of "Cheong(淸)", ignored as barbarians, but also the realism instead the just cause made the concept of "BanCeongBookBeol(反淸北伐)" that followed "Song See-yeol(송시열)" account little step by step. But Lee dong-yun(이동윤) is a real scholar who tried to recover the national bases of self-respect that had been injured by "Cheong(?)", only to fail. He considered deeply for his whole life the importances of "Inmulseongdonglee(人物性同異)", exclusive theory for "HwaLee(華夷)", and national bases of self-respect. In Lee dong-yun(이동윤)‘s sense, "Hwa(華)" was different from "Lee(夷) at "Mulseong(物性)" and "Inseong(人性)". What was worse, Choseon lost "Cheong Country's Invasion df Korea in 1636 to "Cheong(?)", He advocated that Choseon," Hwa(華), must tried to recover the national bases of self-respect from "Cheong(?)", founded by Lee(夷) as barbarians. Lee dong-you(이동윤) could not accept the fact that Cheong(?) had gained the victory over "Myeong(明)", Hwa(華) like Choseon. So he seemed to think that only the choice of "BanCeongBookBeol(反淸北伐) was the shorter road, where the people of Choseon could recover the national bases of self-respect but also existing order from the wrong world of Lee(夷). Human history has been developed through conflict and confrontation by the forces that were different from their goals. It is not right if only one is good and the other bad. Human history has existed with the two other forces.         지속성 외래 복막투석 환자에서 염증 지표와 고해상도 B 모드 경동맥 초음파 소견의 연관성에 관한 연구

        배 경 : 저알부민혈증 및 C-반응 단백(C-reactive protein, CRP)이 증가된 지속성 외래 복막투석 환자의 사망률이 높은 정확한 이유는 밝혀져 않다. 혈액투석 환자에서처럼 복막투석 환자에서 저알부민혈증 및 염증반응이 심혈관계 질환 위험인자 인지 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법: 비당뇨병성 말기 신부전, 지속성 외래 복막투석 환자 93명의 심혈관계 질환 위험인자들과 복막 투과 특성 및 알부민, CRP 등의 염증지표에 따라 고해상도 초음파를 이용한 경동맥내막-중간막 두께, 내막-중간막 면적, 플라크의 유무 등을 단면적으로 비교하였다. 결 과: 복막 투과 특성은 고투과막군 14명, 중간 고투과막군 38명, 중간 저투과막군 31명, 저투과막군 10명으로 각 군간의 경동맥 내막-중간막 두께, 플라크 유무 및 내막-중간막 면적의 차이는 없었다. 기존 관상동맥 질환 환자는 8예(8.6%)로 내막-중간막 두께는 관상동맥 질환이 없는 환자보다 증가되었고(0.79±0.21 vs 0.60±0.11 mm, p<0.05) 플라크 형성은 더 많이 보이나 통계적 유의성은 없었다(75.0 vs 63.5%, p>0.05). 혈청 알부민치와 경동맥 내막-중간막 면적은 역상관관계를 보였다(r=-0.27, p<0.05). 저알부민혈증 환자(혈청 알부민 <3.5 g/dL)는 정상 알부민혈증 환자보다 내막-중간막 두께가 증가되었고(0.67±0.15 vs 0.61±0.12 mm, p<0.05), 플라크도 유의하게 많았다(68.0 vs 55.8%, p<0.05). 혈청 CRP치와 경동맥 내막-중간막 면적은 양의 상관관계가 있었으며(r=0.21, p<0.05) CRP가 높은 환자(≥0.8 mg/dL, n=18)에서플라크가 많이 관찰되었으나(65.8 vs 50.0%, p<0.05) 경동맥 내막-중간막 두께 및 내막-중간막면적은 양군간에 차이가 없었다. 다변량 회귀 분석상 경동맥 내막-중간막 두께에 영향을 미치는 인자는 고령, 높은 CRP, 기존 심혈관계질환, 낮은 혈청 알부민 순이였다. 결 론 : 복막투석 환자에서 고해상도 초음파를 이용한 경동맥 내막-중간막 두께 측정은 심혈관계 질환 유무 예측의 비침습적 검사가 될 수 있고 저알부민혈증 및 높은 CRP과 같은 만성염증 지속상태가 복막투석 환자에서 죽상 동맥 경화증의 발생을 증가시킨다고 가정할 수 있다. Background : Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD) patients with low albumin(LA) and signs of inflammation reflected by increased C-reactive protein(CRP) level have an increased mortality, but the mechanism of this phenomenon is not clear yet. Methods : To answer whether LA and inflammation also enhance cardiovascular risk in CAPD patients, we performed cross sectional study measuring carotid artery intima-media thickness(IMT), calculated intima-media area(cIM area) and the presence of plaque by high-resolution B-mode ultrasonography in 93 non-diabetic CAPD patients. Results : Patients with coronary artery disease (CAD, n=8) had significantly increased IMT(0.79± 0.21 mm vs. 0.60±0.11 mm, p<0.05) and higher prevalence of carotid plaques(75.0% vs. 63.5%) compared to the non-CAD patients. Significant inverse correlation was observed between serum albumin (SA) level and cIM area(r=-0.27, p<0.05). Those patients with LA(SA <3.5 g/dL) had significantly increased IMT compared to non-LA patients(0.67±0.15 mm vs 0.61±0.12 mm, p<0.05). Prevalence of carotid plaques was also significantly higher in LA patients (68.0% vs. 55.8%, p<0.05). CRP level revealed a significant positive correlation with cIM area(r=0.21, p< 0.05). Patients with high CRP(≥0.8 mg/dL, n=18) had higher prevalence of carotid plaques (65.8% vs. 50.0%, p<0.05) compared to those patients with CRP <0.8 mg/dL, but IMT and cIMT area were not different. By multivariate logistic regression analysis, old age, high CRP, history of CAD and low SA were the independent risk factors affecting IMT. Conclusion : Our study strongly suggests that low albumin and chronic inflammatory state of CAPD patients could be associated with increasing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.       • 배관망 해석 방법을 이용한 스프링클러 시스템의 수리계산 프로그램 개발

        본 연구는 배관에서의 정확한 압력손실과 유량을 측정하기 위하여 스프링클러 시스템중 격자배관방식에 대한 수리계산 프로그램을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 프로그램 개발은 배관망 해석방법 등 여러 가지 자료로 근거하며, 격자배관방식이 국내에서 현행 시행되고 있는 규약배관방식의 단점을 보안하여 스프링클러 시스템을 성능기준화재안전설계로 이끌어 내기 위함이다. 소화설비의 전산화로 인한 작업의 편리성과 정확한 계산을 측정함으로서 전진적인 화재안전설계를 이룩하게 될 것이다. 이러한 프로그램의 개발은 미국 등에서 먼저 이루어져 오고 있으며 국내에서의 소방에 대한 발전이 한 단계 발전되는 계기를 마련하게 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is developing the computer program for hydraulic design sprinkler systems have performed the means for the general use of network analysis method. The computer program is based on the theoretical concept of the related Hazen-Williams equations, a modified Bernoulli equations, and the Hardy Cross method of pipe network analysis. Looped piping calculations are solved by using either the Hardy Cross method or the other iteration methods. While the other methods are solved using simultaneous equations, the Hardy Cross method is concerned with one loop at a time using reiterative process. Due to its simplicity the Hardy Cross method will be the primary method described in this thesis. The purpose of this study is to develope hydraulic calculation program by using algorithm for network analysis method. The development of computer program for the hydraulic design of sprinkler systems will perform the means in the performance-based sprinkler system design.

        1.The emotion is given before birth, and because of not perfect of human being's consciseness, individual differance exist. 2.Every emotion act first on the heart and following other organ which possess each of the five emotion. Therfore the heart plays impartant role on the emotion and emerge five organ in the oriental medicine theory. 3.The emotion was expressed by external reagent, but the more importante reagent is internal situation such as qi(氣), xie(血), yin(陰),yang(陽), according to these reagent the existing time and strength is different. 4.The emotion is different according to the weak-strong and big-small of zang-fu( ), and the size of zang-fu(臟腑) is determined by emotional specificity in the si-xiang medicinal(四象醫學) theory.

      • 접형동, 뇌하수체병변 수술을 위한 경비중격접형동 접근법에 대한 연구

        Early attempts to remove pituitary tumors included a transcranial approach that was impeded by numerous anatomic obstacles like the cavernous sinus, the carotid artery, and the optic chiasm. Nearly every pituitary tumor can be exposed and removed through the nasal septum. Advances in physics and biochemistry have supported substantial improvements in diagnosis and management so that transseptal transsphenoidal approach is one of the most predictable operations performed for pituitary tumor. The sublabial transseptal approach(Hardy) should access to the septal spaces and the sphenoid sinus, working entirely under the lip. However, working into the nose from a low angle under the canopy of the orbicularis oris muscle does restrict visibility at the point surgeon needs it most, over the premaxillar wings. In 1990, we began performing the entire septal dissection through a septal hemitransfixation incision, saving the sublabial incision until later in the operation when we wanted to insert the nasal speculum. This modified approach improved our ability to elevate the mucoperichondrium from the anterior-inferior regions of the septum in the premaxillary region without perforation. The nasal spine ceased to be an issue because it was no longer in the way. We studied 10 cases of modified transseptal transsphenoidal approach to pituitary tumor and other lesions during a period of 6 years between September. 1990 and October, 1996.
