Objective : This study was conducted for the purpose of investigating the level exposure of welders to noise, welding fume and Manganese(Mn) related to this process. Methods and Material : All subjects in this study were welders engaged in CO2 arc and coated arc welding process especially in small-scale enterprises classified by type of manufacture of ship building, repairing and of other fabricated metal products, which is located in Gimhae and Milyang of Kyeongsang province in south Korea. Air sampling of welding fume was measured, shipped and analyzed on the basis of national institute for occupational safety and health(NIOSH) method in U.S. and work environment measurement method established in south Korea. To measure Noise in the work environment, Noise dosimeter was used on the basis of work environment measurement method established in south Korea. Result : This study was performed during a period from January, 2000 to December, 2001 and Results were as follows: 1. Noise level measured in this work environment was higher than national criteria for permissible exposure limit on health examinations related to hearing loss. 2. The concentration of welding fume and Mn in manufacture of ship building and repairing was higher than those in manufacture of other fabricated metal products. 3. In conditions of existing in ventilation system installed and operated, the concentration of welding fume and Mn was slightly lower than those of not existing. 4. In conditions of existing in sufficient air supply from out door into the work place relied on natural exhaust system, the concentration of welding fume and Mn was slightly lower than those of in not sufficient. 5. In all subjects, a rate of wearing ear plug and respiratory mask for dust and fume was lower than that of not wearing. Conclusion : According to above results, this study suggests that more positive work environment managements such as the use of portable local ventilation system, the supply of highly qualified personal protective equipment, and consecutive education and training related to health protection should be need to acquire suitable health protection program for welders engaged in small-scale enterprises in Korea.

The major purpose of this study is to investigate the middle school students' consciousness and their participation of household work. The participants were 540 middle school students but the final data used in this study was 489. For the statistical analysis of this study, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Cronbach's α coefficient. one way ANOVA. t-test. Duncan's Multiple Range Test and Pearson's correlation were calculated. The results of this study were summarized as fallows : 1.It was appeared that the middle school students' consciousness and their participation of household work was high. 2 According to the household environmental variables. there was not any significant difference in the middle school students' consciousness of household work, but there was significant difference in the middle school student's participation of household work. 3 According to the school environmental variables. there was not any significant difference in the middle school students' consciousness of household work, but there was significant difference in the middle school students' participation of household work. 4 According to the degree of family life satisfaction, there was significant difference both in the middle school students' consciousness and in their participation of household work in whole categories. 5.According to the degree of Home Economics course cognition, there was significant difference both in the middle school students' consciousness and in their of household work in whole categories.

After the Mental Health Act was established at 1995, mental health service in korea has continuously been changed. The demand for long-term mental health care is on rise as the number of patient among population and social costs increases. In addition, as social concern about patient s quality of life enlarged, people give weight to quality management and evaluation of long term mental health care facilities. Through the evaluation of long-term mental health care facilities, the quality of mental health care can be improved and the function of long-tern mental health care facilities will be identified in mental health care system. Therefore this article will be used as a basic data for not only enhancing their service quality, but setting role and function of long-term mental health care facilities in health care delivery system. From the evaluation of long-term mental health care facilities, the eighty percents of a total 55 facilities was high or middle level. Physical environment items were at the highest level in evaluation parts but system management items were at the lowest level. So system management should be improved. The evaluation of long-term care facilities is a chance for checking the system and finding out problems in running the facilities. Also this evaluation will help to identify the role and function of long-term mental care facilities in the health care system.

The purpose of this study is to develop the process to support and evaluate experts' decision malting on vertical transportation planning in high-rise building constructions. Experts generally carry out the vertical transportation planning by heuristic methods, so there is a possibility that their decisions failed. The failure of the vertical transportation planning can be result in much loss of time and cost. The process presented in this paper evaluates experts' alternatives, organizes the results of the vertical transportation plan, and then leads to the systematic flow of materials and crews.

The verification of the STL file is essential to build the confident parts using a RP machine, because the STL file obtained from the CAD software has many errors - the orientation of triangle does not coincide with adjacent triangles or some triangles are omitted, overlpped and so forth. Especially, the STL file translated from the surface model has more errors than those translated from the solid model. In this study, all possible errors were classified with the most general form and the causes of errors were analyzed to verify and correct errors. Using the triangle based non-manifold geometric modeling, these errors were corrected. Especially, this study took the notice of the problem about the intersected triangles and non-manifold properties overlooked in the previous studies. But this study has a penalty on computing time of O(n^2)

Korea has taken the aim at an economic growth to get rid of absolute poverty in the process of modernization. In result, the national income has been raised by success of economic growth policy of our government, but the quantity of garbage became greatly to increase by rapid urbanization, increase of industrial activities, and increase of national income. So, our govennment policy cecame to be necessary for solving the serious problems related to garbage in every places. Accordingly, this study analyzed the present situation and actual condition of treatment of general and industrial garbages in order to grope for problems by selecting Kumi-city as an object of this study, and this study suggested the reform measures to make a contribution toward the personal development for improvement of health and hygienes, sound democratic citizens, and personal increase in income, by reutilizing the waste materials and by providing the comfortable environment through the rational garbage treatment as well as to make a contribution toward the political, economic and social development through the environmental preservation and efficient utilization of resources by a rational garbage treatment. This study consists of 6 Chapters as follows : In Chapter 1, this study brougnt up questions on the rational and efficient treatment of garbage as well as to make recognize an importance of garbage treatment that is the most serious issue of all the mankind in establishing the purpose, objects, scope and method of this study. Also, this study examined its actual condition and efficient treatment measures of garbages in Kumi-city that is the newly industrializing city on the basis of analysis on the actual conditions from 1980 to 1990(for 11 years) in order to accomplish the purposes of this study. In Chapter 2, this study established the hypothetical model and theoretical basis of investigation. This study emphasized the rational treatment of garbage administration and attributes of object of this study on the basis of the theoretical background. Also, this study divided the garbage administration by public service and administrative approach, and analyzed the theoretical analysis, after grouped for the actual condition of garbage treatment policy. In Chapter 3, this study analyzed the present situation of garbage treatment in Kumi-city. In Chapter 4, this study analyzed each treatment process on the basis of the above analysis. In Chapter 5, this study examined the reform measures on the present problems which occurr in the process of garbage treatment on the basis of investigation and analysis in this study. In Chapter 6, this study suggested the efficient measures in the adminisunation of garbage treatment as emphasizing its importance.
가스터어빈 연소기의 형상 변화에 따른 화염안정성에 관한 실험적 연구

현대의 항공기용 가스터어빈 연소기의 설계에서 화염안정성은 가장 먼저 고려되어야 할 중요한 설계변수 중 하나이다. 연소기 형상에 대한 변화가 화염안정성에 미치는 영향을 이해하기 위해 단순화한 모델 연소기를 이용하여 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 동일한 면적 조건에서의 연소기 입구단 공기구멍의 갯수변화와 제1차 공기구멍열과 희석 공기구멍열의 축방향 위치변화를 변수로 고려하였다. 희박 연소 한계는 육안으로 측정하였으며 연료는 프로판을 사용하였다. 입구에서 제1차 공기구멍열까지의 거리 증가와 입구단 공기구멍의 갯수 감소로 좀 더 안정된 화염을 얻을 수 있었다. 희석 공기구명의 존재는 전체 공기구멍의 면적 증가비와 동일하게 화염안정성을 증가시켰으며 희석 공기구멍열의 위치는 화염안정성에 무관함을 알 수 있었다. In the design of modern aircraft gas turbine combustor, The flame stability has been one of major factors to be considered at the first step. To understand the effect of the variation in combustor geometry for flame stability, an experimental study was performed in a simple model combustor. A parametric variation in the number of combustor inlet air-holes at the condition of constant area and axial location of primary and dilution air-hole row was performed. Lean blow-out limit was measured by visual and propane was used as fuel. The increase in the length from inlet to primary row and decrease in the number of inlet air-holes lead to more stable flame. At the existence of dilution air-hole low, flame stability was increased the same ratio as total air-hole area. The location of dilution air-hole row was independent on flame stability.
대형 TRUCK CAB SUSPENSION의 승차감 향상에 관하여

This study describes how to determine and evaluate parameters related to cab suspension system through time and frequency analysis. The spring and damper-stiffnes of cab suspension system were optimized by two objective function, which consists of cab pitching acceleration peak level and vibrational absorbed power. In an attempt at optimizing, we made use of Taguchi Method. The results of simulation and test of a heavy duty truck gave us the optimum design parameters, which were verified and confirmed by real vehicle test.

2-[(4-Cyanophenyl)amino]-3-chloro-1, 4-naphthalenedione (NQ-Y15) was asssayed for its genotoxic potential by using Salmonella typhimurium reversion assay and in vitro chromosome aberration test on Chinese hamster lung cells. In the Ames test, NQ-Y 15 induced his+ revertants of Salmonella typhimurium TA 98 and TA1537, reaching levels twice the negative control values. But, NQ-Y15 induced only his^(+) revertants of Salmonella typhimurium TA1537 more than twice the control values under the condition with metabolic activation system. In the cytogenetic test on chinese hamster lung cells, NQ-Y15 showed significant chromosomal aberrations, but the incidence was significantly reduced in the presence of metabolic activation.
