The aerodynamic study of jetvane type TVC(Thrust Vector Control) were conducted using supersonic cold-flow system. The use of TVC Systems in particular jet vanes, are currently being researched for use in air launch, ship launch, underwater launch and high altitude maneuvering of tactical missiles and rockets. The necessity to generate control forces to rapidly change the course of the missile is frequently required when traditional, exterior aerodynamic surfaces are unable to produce these forces, when the flow over the control surface is insufficient. This situation can occur at launch, or high angles of attack of the control surfaces. Jetvanes performed well at all altitudes and environmental conditions, and jet vanes are extremely effective at deflection angles up to as high as 30 degrees, make them ideal for the launch and maneuver applications. In this study, aerodynamic performance test of jetvane type TVC was conducted, and The effect of shape and deflection angle of various types of jetvanes are investigated

Purpose: Death is not an option but a necessity in our life. However, there is little understanding of what a good death means. This study was conducted to analyze the concept of a good death by exploring attributes, antecedents, consequences and empirical criteria for a good death in literatures. Method : Reviewed materials were collected by searching for web cites such as PubMed, National Library of Korea, National Assembly Library. Walker and Avant's method(2004) was used for this concept analysis. Results : The findings showed that a good death includes seven attributes: dignity (personal respect and privacy), self-control (the right of choice, independence, clear consciousness), comfort (physical, psychological, spiritual). optimal relationships (supportive environment, proper care, restoration of relationships), appropriateness (sequence and proper age of death), preparation for death (completing unsettled tasks, leaving a legacy, positive attitude toward life, awareness and acceptance of death) and minimizing burden. Conclusion : This results will provide health professionals and people with a preliminary understandings of a good death. In addition, there is the need for further study to develop objective measurement of a good death and effective nursing intervention for the dying.

The purposes of this study are 1) to examine the characteristics and types of costume which had a vogue in the Shakespeare's times, 2) to analyze characters' psychological aspect and change it to visual image and then apply to design, 3) to design new stage costume through the symbolism of the colors and the simplication of the costume added modern sense on the basis of the costume in the early Renaissance in Shakespeare's Drama "Hamlet". The results of study are as follows. Hamlet's costume is composed of velvet jacket transformed Houpplande for black mourning clothes and black tight pants. Gertrude's costume is composed of red-purple gown with hanging- sleeves and gray silk underdress. Ophelia's costume is composed of white chemise and green overdress.

대부분의 사용자들은 자료를 저장하고 검색하기 위하여 관계형 데이터베이스를 사용하여 왔는데, 최근에 차세대 웹문서의 표준으로 주목받고 있는 XML은 데이터베이스와 같이 자료를 표현, 저장, 검색할 수 있는 기능을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임의로 생성한 검색대상 자료를 데이터베이스에 테이블로 저장하여 검색하는 방법과 XML 문서로 저장하여 검색하는 방법의 검색시간이 성능비교를 행하였다. 성능평가 결과, 검색 파일의 레코드 수가 약 1만개 이하인 경우에는 XML 문서를 이용한 검색이 빨랐고, 그 이상인 경우는 데이터베이스를 이용한 검색 시간이 월등히 빨랐다. XML 관련 검색 파일들을 세부적으로 XML 문서를 저장하는 방법(어트리뷰트로 혹은 엘리먼트)과 C#에서 XML 문서를 읽어드리는 방법(XPath을 혹은 DOM)에 따라 성능평가를 하였는데 XML 문서 작성시 어트리뷰트로 구성하고 마이크로소프트 닷넴 프레임워크에서 제공하는 XPath를 이용하여 XML 문서를 검색하는 방법이 가장 효율적이었다. While most of users have used relational databases to store and search data. XML documents also can represent, store, and search these data like database systems. This paper compares the search time of data in the XML documents with those in database systems. The performance comparison shows that the search time using the XML document is faster than that using database when the number of records is less than then thousand. However, the latter is much faster than the former when the number of records is more than ten thousand. The XML documents can be consist of either using Attributes of Elements. Also, the document can be read either using DOM or XPath. The performance comparison shows that the XML document made up of Attributes and being read using XPath in Microsoft Net Framework provides the fastest search time.
Short-Term Viral Evolution in Response to Passaging I. Consequences for Population Size

The Red Queen hypothesis for the advantage of sex predicts that pathogens will evolve by increasing fitness with frequent encounters with specific host genotypes. In this study, BMV population size, measured as an indicator of fitness, was investigated during repeated passages through the same, or different host genotypes of the crop host, Hordeum vulgare (barley). Overall, mean BMV concentration within individual hosts was significantly higher in genetically homogeneous compared to heterogeneous host passage lines. In addition, BMV populations, passaged through a specific host variety, showed higher growth in that host variety compared to BMV passaged through varying varieties. These results supports the Red Queen hypothesis. However, the decrease in viral populations during passages contradicts the Red Queen. Nevertheless, the results found here show that even under simplified conditions, pathogens do not evolve in simple, predictable ways. Constraints on pathogen evolution may lead to counterintuitive results.
