        SWEEPA: 업무 효율성 향상을 위한 실내 폐기물 추적 시스템 디자인

        본 연구는 청소 용역 노동자와 용역 업체를 대상으로 실내에서 폐기물을 수집하는 과정을 조사하고, 기술적 적용을 통해 보다 효율적인 폐기물 수집시스템을 제시한다. 연구를 통해 설계된 Sweepa 시스템은 센서를 통해 폐기물 양을 추적하여 사용자가 폐기물 수집 경로를 자율적으로 설계하고, 축적된 데이터베이스 분석을 통해 생산적인 인적 자원 관리를 가능케 한다. Sweepa is an indoor waste monitoring system that allows workers to check the status level of waste in trashcans throughout a site. By using sensors to measure the fill-level of waste in the trashcans, Sweepa notifies cleaning staff members which trashcans need to be emptied. Through this, Sweepa aims to enhance productivity, increase efficiency and improve the work environment of the cleaning staff.

      • Wii Fit을 이용한 시각적 피드백 훈련이 노인의 균형에 미치는 영향

        Background and Purpose Although The purpose of this study is to investigate how the visual feedback training using Wii Fit is more effective than other interest-inducing physical therapy on improving balance for the elderly who have experienced falls. Subjects and Methods Twenty one elderly have participated in this study. They were divided into two groups; experimental, and control, and the study was carried out three times a week during four weeks. Both groups attended to this thirty minutes of training repeating a total of three times - training for ten minutes, and resting for another ten minutes. The experimental group was assigned to conduct the visual feedback training using Wii Fit, while the control group the interest-inducing physical therapy. As measurement tools, Frailty and Injuries: Cooperative Studies of Intervention Techniques-4, Timed Up & Go, and Wm Walking Test were used. Results For the result of this balance training, in terms of comparison by the time, Frailty and Injuries: Cooperative Studies of Intervention Techniques-4, Timed Up & Go, and Wm Walking Test showed significant improvements in both groups(p<.05). There also was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups(p<.05). Conclusions This results have verified that the visual feedback training using Wii Fit is more effective than the interest-inducing physical therapy on improving the balance for the elderly. Henceforth, on the basis of this study, it is considered that this visual feedback training using Wii Fit, that is effective on improving balance for the elderly in order to prevent from falls, needs to be provided wider publicity, be supplied as mediation for balance, and develop research for enhancing the programs.

        으뜸도라지추출물이 RBL-2H3 세포에서 탈과립과 염증매개물질의 분비 억제에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 으뜸도라지추출물의 항알레르기 효과를 조사하기 위해 실시하였다. 으뜸도라지추출물 (50, 100 및 200 ㎍/mL) 처리에 따른 RBL-2H3 비만세포의 세포독성을 조사한 결과 으뜸도라지추출물은 모든 농도에서 세포독성이 관찰되지 않았고, β-hexosaminidase assay를 통해 비만세포의 탈과립 억제능을 평가한 결과 재래종도라지추출물과 비교하여 β-hexosaminidase 억제능이 10배 뛰어남을 확인하였다. 또한 으뜸도라지추출물은 RBL-2H3 비만세포에서 탈과립 후 유리되는 대표물질인 IL-4, TNF-α, PGE2 및 LTB₄의 생성 분비를 현저히 감소시켰고, 이러한 효과는 재래종도라지와 비교하여 월등한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 으뜸도라지추출물이 알레르기 반응을 효과적으로 억제함을 제시하며 향후 항알레르기 기능성 소재로 개발 가능성이 있음을 나타낸다. Purpose: Platycodon grandiflorum (a domestic diploid variety, DV-PG) has been used as a food and component of various traditional oriental medicines. Although DV-PG is known to have an anti-allergic effect, little is known about the beneficial health effects of the tetraploid ‘Etteum’ variety in the Platycodon grandiflorum (TV-PG), which is a recently developed variety. In this study, we investigated the effect of TV-PG on the rat basophilic leukemia mast cell (RBL-2H3)-mediated allergic response. Methods: To examine the effects of TV-PG on the allergic response, RBL-2H3 cells were sensitized with dinitropheny (DNP)-immunoglobin E, treated with various concentrations of TV-PG, and challenged with DNP-human serum albumin. We estimated cell granulation by measuring the release of β-hexosaminidase and production of inflammatory mediators by ELISA. Results: TV-PG had no effect on the proliferation or cytotoxicity of RBL-2H3 cells within the concentration range of 0 to 200 ㎍/mL. TV-PG inhibited degranulation of RBL-2H3 cells by antigen stimulation in a dose-dependent manner. TV-PG also suppressed the production of inflammatory cytokines and mediators such as interleukin-4, tumor necrosis factor-α, prostagladin E2, and leukotriene B4 in RBL-2H3 cells by antigen stimulation. Conclusion: These results indicate that TV-PG exhibits anti-allergic activity via inhibition of degranulation as well as suppression of inflammatory mediators and cytokine release. These findings suggest that TV-PG may have potential as a preventive and therapeutic agent for the treatment of various allergic diseases.
