        The purpose of this study is to research of the coordination trends in Seoul which is the capital of Korea. The study focuses especially on the spring & summer season of 1996. For the study, 375 photographs were taken at 8 of the more fashionable streets. The results are as follow; 1) May of the styles were revival from the 1960's. For example, clean mode suit hip bone pants, fit & flare line skirt, black & white color. 2) There was also a boom in T-shirts which had the names of foreign universities printed on them most of these were hooded sweat shirts made from terry cloth. This shows the preference for studying at the leading private universities abroad. 3) The fashion styles are now seasonless : temperature is not any longer a conclusive factor for choosing clothes, this season, some winter apparel appeared in fashion styles worn in warm weather. For example, western style boots, shinny white long boots and wide hair band which are influenced by ski wear. This shows that consumers prefer certain fashion items no matter what season it is.

        전자 서베잉을 이용한 서베이드 금관과 국소의치 프레임워크 디자인

        구강 스캐너와 CAD/CAM 기술로 인해 컴퓨터로 제작하는 방식이 활발히 보급된 고정식 보철 증례와는 달리, 의치를 디지털 방식으로 제작하는 데에는 아직 한계가 많다. 촉각을 느낄 수 있는 입력 장비와 전자 서베잉의 개념, 그리고 쾌속 조형법의 적용으로 인해 국소의치를 디지털로 제작할 수 있는 솔루션이 최근 소개되고 있다. 본 증례보고에서는 이러한 국소의치의 디지털 솔루션을 이용하여 총 다섯 명의 환자에서 서베이드 금관 및 국소의치를 제작하였다. 인상 과정상의 문제로 모형과 실제 치아 사이의 형태적 차이가 있었던 경우를 제외하고는 국소의치의 적합도는 우수했으며, 장착 후 안정성과 착탈 시의 유지력 또한 임상에서 적용하는 데에 문제가 없었다. There are still many limitations on fabricating dentures using digital method while computerized production of fixed prostheses utilizing intraoral scanner and CAD/CAM technology has propagated rapidly. Recently the digital solution of fabricating removable partial denture by applying haptic input device, electronic surveying, and rapid prototyping was introduced. In this case presentation, five patients were treated with surveyed crown and removable partial dentures by this digital solution. Fit of dentures was excellent except for one case which showed morphological difference between the actual teeth and that of master cast by the erroneous impression process. There also was not any problem of stability and retention after adaptation in the clinical setting.

        구강 내 디지털 인상채득을 통한 맞춤형 지대주와 시멘트 합착 후 나사형 임플란트 보철 수복 증례

        최근 디지털 인상채득 시스템이 개발되면서 이를 기존의 CAD/CAM 시스템과 접목한 인레이, 온레이, 크라운이나 간단한 계속가공의치 등의 고정성 보철물의 제작이 활발히 소개되고 있다. 그러나 임플란트 보철에서는 주로 기존의 아날로그식 인상채득 후 이를 스캔하여 제작하는 방법이 사용되어 왔으나, 구강 내 디지털 스캔한 데이터를 이용하여 나사형 보철물을 제작하는 술식은 아직 활발히 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 본 증례보고에서는 6명의 환자를 대상으로 구강 내 스캐너인 iTero를 사용하여 디지털 스캔을 시행한 후 그중 다섯명은 맞춤형 지대주와 시멘트 합착 후 나사형 임플란트 보철물(screw-retained implant prosthesis after cementation, or SCRP)을 제작하였고, 임상적으로 기능과 심미적인 측면으로 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 이를 보고하고자 한다. Fixed dental prostheses such as inlay, onlay, crown, and bridge fabricated by CAD/CAM technique combined with digital impressions is getting popular due to the recent rapid progress of digital impression taking system. For the scope of implant prosthesis, however, digital intra-oral scan hasn’t been actively utilized for the fabrication of superstructures. In this case report, 6 cases of titanium-milled custom abutment based on the iTero intra-oral scan data were introduced, five of them were restored with screw-type prosthesis after cementation (SCRP) and the clinical results were satisfactory on restoring the function and esthetics.

        Clinical and Virologic Effectiveness of Remdesivir Treatment for Severe Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Korea: a Nationwide Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study

        Background: Remdesivir is widely used for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), but controversies regarding its efficacy still remain. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted to evaluate the effect of remdesivir on clinical and virologic outcomes of severe COVID-19 patients from June to July 2020. Primary clinical endpoints included clinical recovery, additional mechanical ventilator (MV) support, and duration of oxygen or MV support. Viral load reduction by hospital day (HD) 15 was evaluated by calculating changes in cycle threshold (Ct) values. Results: A total of 86 severe COVID-19 patients were evaluated including 48 remdesivir-treated patients. Baseline characteristics were not significantly different between the two groups. Remdesivir was administered an average of 7.42 days from symptom onset. The proportions of clinical recovery of the remdesivir and supportive care group at HD 14 (56.3% and 39.5%) and HD 28 (87.5% and 78.9%) were not statistically different. The proportion of patients requiring MV support by HD 28 was significantly lower in the remdesivir group than in the supportive care group (22.9% vs. 44.7%, P = 0.032), and MV duration was significantly shorter in the remdesivir group (average, 1.97 vs. 5.37 days; P = 0.017). Analysis of upper respiratory tract specimens demonstrated that increases of Ct value from HD 1–5 to 11–15 were significantly greater in the remdesivir group than the supportive care group (average, 10.19 vs. 5.36; P = 0.007), and the slope of the Ct value increase was also significantly steeper in the remdesivir group (average, 5.10 vs. 2.68; P = 0.007). Conclusion: The remdesivir group showed clinical and virologic benefit in terms of MV requirement and viral load reduction, supporting remdesivir treatment for severe COVID-19.

        Patient-Derived Xenograft Models of Epithelial Ovarian Cancer for Preclinical Studies

        <P><B>Purpose</B></P><P>Patient-derived tumor xenografts (PDXs) can provide more reliable information about tumor biology than cell line models. We developed PDXs for epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) that have histopathologic and genetic similarities to the primary patient tissues and evaluated their potential for use as a platform for translational EOC research.</P><P><B>Materials and Methods</B></P><P>We successfully established PDXs by subrenal capsule implantation of primary EOC tissues into female BALB/C-nude mice. The rate of successful PDX engraftment was 48.8% (22/45 cases). Hematoxylin and eosin staining and short tandem repeat analysis showed histopathological and genetic similarity between the PDX and primary patient tissues.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>Patients whose tumors were successfully engrafted in mice had significantly inferior overall survival when compared with those whose tumors failed to engraft (p=0.040). In preclinical tests of this model, we found that paclitaxel-carboplatin combination chemotherapy significantly deceased tumor weight in PDXs compared with the control treatment (p=0.013). Moreover, erlotinib treatment significantly decreased tumor weight in epidermal growth factor receptor–overexpressing PDX with clear cell histology (p=0.023).</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>PDXs for EOC with histopathological and genetic stability can be efficiently developed by subrenal capsule implantation and have the potential to provide a promising platform for future translational research and precision medicine for EOC.</P>

        A survey of the satisfaction of patients who have undergone implant surgery with and without employing a computer-guided implant surgical template

        PURPOSE This study aims to investigate the degree of subjective pain and the satisfaction of patients who have undergone an implant treatment using a computer-guided template. MATERIALS AND METHODS A survey was conducted for 135 patients who have undergone implant surgery with and without the use of the computer-guided template during the period of 2012 and 2013 in university hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics that practiced implant surgery using the computer-guided template. Likert scale and VAS score were used in the survey questions, and the independent t-test and One-Way ANOVA were performed (α=.05). RESULTS The route that the subjects were introduced to the computer-guided implant surgery using a surgical template was mostly advices by dentists, and the most common reason for which they chose to undergo such surgery was that it was accurate and safe. Most of them gave an answer that they were willing to recommend it to others. The patients who have undergone the computer-guided implant surgery felt less pain during the operation and showed higher satisfaction than those who have undergone conventional implant surgery. Among the patients who have undergone computer-guided implant surgery, those who also had prior experience of surgery without a computer-guided template expressed higher satisfaction with the former (P<.05). CONCLUSION In this study, it could be seen that the patients who have undergone computer-guided implant surgery employing a surgical template felt less pain and had higher satisfaction than those with the conventional one, and the dentist's description could provide the confidence about the safety of surgery.

      • 유통 방기의 화학적 분석

        방기는 대한약전 및 중국약전에 식물학적 및 화학적으로 다른 식물이 동일한 이름으로 수재되어 있어서 운통 및 사용에 혼란을 초래하고 있다. 현재 우리나라에서 유통되고 있는 방기는 패부분 중국 및 베트남에서 수입되고 있으며 방기 외에도 중국산 시장품인 분방기, 광방기가 다수 유통되고 았는 것으로 알려져 있다. 특히' 광방기는 함유성분인 ariStOBDChiC acid의 광범위한 발암성, 신독성이 알려지면서 각 국에서 사용을 금지하고 있으나 우리 나라예서는 유통 현황에 대한 실태조차 파악되지 않고 일는 실정이다. 따라서 방기에 대한 정확한 감별법과 품질기준을 마련하고 이에 따라 aristolochic acid를 함유하고 있는 광방기에 대하여는 수입 및 유통을 금지시킬 필요가 있다. 현재 방기는 외형, 현미경 검사 및 알카로이드 확인시험법으로 감별하게 되어 있으나 다양한 유사품의 정확한 식별을 왜해서는 알카로 이드 타입 및 함량 분포에 러한 연구에 기초한 화학적 감별의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 딴군에서는 방기류에 포함되꺼 있는 주요 알카로이드를 대상으로 확인 및 정량할 수 있는 동시분석법을 확립하였으며, 국내 유통방기 딘움목에 대하여 시험한 결과 유통품의 72.3%에서 독성물질인 aristolochic acid가 검출되어 rlris,!of ocho 속 광방기로 추정되었으며, a7.7%도 방기, 분방기, 목방기와는 다른 방기류 생약이 아닌 강츠로 추정되었다. 광방기 중의 aristolochic acid 함량은 평균 0.31 mg/g으로 측정되었다. 따라서, 유통방기의 대부분이. 약전품 방기가 아니어서 방기의 수입검사와 품질관레, 약효에 심각한 문제점이 있음이 딱혀졌다. 그러므로 광방기 및 유사품의 수입 및 사용을 금지시키고 방기류 생약에 대하여 화학적 성룬검사에 의한 엄격한 수입검사 기준을 설정하여 관리, 검사할 필요가 있다. ln Korean PhaγmaEopia(KP), Sinomeni stem is recorded to he originated from 51'norleriufl ucu#url(fvrenispennaceae 1. Therefore, it suggests thatAristolochia fangi should be proHbited by chemical analysis method due to the toxic effectattributed to the toxic effect of aristolochic acids.

      • Polyamine이 옥수수 자엽초 절편에서 오옥신 이동에 미치는 영향

        Polyamine이 옥수수 자엽초 절편에서 오옥신 이동에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 동식물에서 흔히 검출되는 polyamine으로서 putrescine(Put), spermine(Spm), spermidine(Spd)은 모두 오옥신의 이동을 억제시키며 그 중에서 Spd가 65%로 가장 큰 억제효과를 나타내었다. Spd는 오옥신의 세포내로 향한 흡입과정을 억제시키므로써 오옥신 이동을 억제시켰다. 오옥신의 흡입과정은 세포벽을 포함한 세포외부의 pH에 민감한 반응인데, Spd는 pH4-pH8의 범위내에서 모두 같은 양샹으로 pH 의존적으로 세포내로 흡수되는 ^14C-benzoic acid의 흡수도 Spd에 의해서 같은 비율로 억제되는 것으로 보아 Spd가 세포벽의 pH를 변화시키므로 오옥신 이동을 억제시키는 것은 아니라고 생각한다. The effects of polyamines on auxin polar transport were studied in corn coleoptile segments. Among Putresine, spermidine and spermine tested in labelled auxin transport, spermidine inhibited auxin polar transport most strongly. Its inhibitory effect appeared after 1 h of transport period. Spermidine inhibited labelled auxin and ^14C-benzoic acid accumulation into the tissue in the various pH range tested (pH 4.0-pH8.0). These results suggest that the inhibition of auxin transport may not be due to decrease in pH by spermine the effect of decreased pH in the extracellular space.

      • 농산물중의 잔류농약 실태에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 고체상 추출에 의한 농산물중 잔류농약 분석에 관한 연구 Analysis of Residual Pesticides in Agricultural Products by Solid-Phase Extraction

        신속 · 정밀하고 효율적인 짠류농약 검출을 위하여 극싱칼럼 (Extrelut-3')을 사옹한 SPE법을 시도하였다. 시료는 채소류체 사용하는 농약중 잔류성이 있고 식품공전상 시험 전처리가 각각 다른 Chlorothalonil등 6종의 농약을 선정하고 그들 표준액에 대한 PPIR수준의 농도로추출용라의 종류 및 용매량 등의 추출조건을 달리하여 회수율 등을 측정한 결과 최적의 분석조건을 얻었다. 1) 추출 용매량은 증가할수록 추출 수율이 높았고,용매 종류에 대한 추출수율은 각 농약별로 다소 차이는 있었으나 극성 정도가 비교적 높은 Ethyl acetate애서 평균 추출수율이 가장 높았다 2) 최대 평균회수율은 Ethyl acetate 60mL를 사웅할 경우로서 93.6%였다. 3)표준액을 시료에 첨가한 시험에서도 역시 Ethyl ace늘to가 푼출수율이 가장 높았으며 불순물 분리제거 효과도 LLE법 보다 월등히 우수하였다. 4) 각 농약별 검출한계는 치소 0.001ppin으로 농산물 중 미량 잔류하는 농약을 검출할 수 있을 것으로 사료된파. 그러므로 SPE법은 LLE법보다 경제적인 방법으로 판명되었으며, 앞으로 농산물 중 잔류농약 분석에서 LEE법을 대치할 쑤 있을 것으로 기대된다. Solid-phase extraction by polar column(Extrelut-3') was attempted to develope the fast and efficient method of detecting pesticide of farm product.5·ix kinds of pesticide used in farming fieldfrequently and different in pretreatment, were chosen from Korea Food Cord. Optfmal analysis condi-tions were determiBed from t31e recovery rate of standard pesticides according to extraction solvent andextraction volurae. Extraction yietd was increased as solvent polarity and extraction volume. Maximumrecovery rate was acquired at 93.6% when 60mL of ethyl acetate was used as eluent. Tllis method wasmore effective than liquid-liquid partition extract·ion method to eliminated the impurity and had 0.001ppm of detection limit. Therefore. solid-phase eEl=raction was expected to be economical substitute fortraditional liquid-liquid extT·action method.
