The purpose of this study was to perform a kinematic analysis of the high jump techniques of the three men`s medalists at the 2011 IAAF Championships in Daegu (August 27-September 4, 2011), In particular, a three-dimensional coordinates method was used to analyze the last three strides before touchdown, the touchdown techniques, and the movements after takeoff toward the bar. An analysis of the, data for the biomechanical characteristics of the world`s best high jumpers could contribute to an improvement in the performance of a national high jumper. The first conclusion of the data analysis was that the arm movements of the gold medalist, J. Williams, had a single arm form, whereas the arm movements of the other medalists were a double arm form. Second, the difference in the knee joint angles upon touchdown and toe-off was 10˚. Third, J. Williams achieved his maximum CM height after takeoff (1.26m) using the maximum flexion of his knee joint. Fourth, the foot contact duration of A. Dmitrik (0.11 s) was the shortest among the medalists, and the ratio for his transformation of horizontal velocity to vertical velocity was the greatest (75.25%) among the three. Last, the maximum CM height of T. Barry was the greatest, and his foot contact duration was the longest.

■Background and purpose Traffic safety facilities is an important tool that it is contribute to traffic flow and safety instead of the roles of a traffic police or maneger in road. The current system for road traffic safety related facilities management is not in a satisfactory state, and more efficient system, therefore, is needed for the policy makers, researchers, and other people. This paper is to analyze the problem in the current system and to make suggestion to establish more efficient system. ■Contents · Analysis of the present road traffic safety facilities management system. - Functional allocation, financial resources, and future demand cost forecast · Case study in Japan. - Comparative analysis between Korea and Japan · Development of road traffic safety facilities management system. - Principles and alternatives for financial resources and functional allocation between central and local government ■Conclusions Traffic safety facilities should be maintained in the current system, in order to enhance operational capacity, secured proffessional manpower and utilized the third sector or RTSA(Road Traffic Safety Association). Also the future traffci safety facilities investment cost is to forecasted 3,400 hundred million won in the 2000 year, therefore is needed financial resources in centural government. In order to secure investment resources for traffic safety facilities should be given improvement plan of special account law

This paper investigates the problems in the measurement regarding corporate income tax smoothing. Past studies generalyy based conclusions on the degree or frequency of apparent tax smoothing behavior identified among sample firms. This investigated two problems in the past studies. The first problem is that much of what appears as tax smoothing may occur "naturally" i.e., without any conscious intent by management to regulate fluctuations in its exemption codes. The second problem lies in the measurement ration of tax smoothing, which may overestimate the fluctuations is corporate income tax. In sum, this study proposed a general methods which taked the possibilities naturally tax smoothing by management and provided the method exactly to measure the smoothness.
도로 종류별 안전도에 관한 연구 : 고속도로와 국도를 중심으로 Focussing the express highway and the national road
윤정길,홍창의,김만배 건국대학교 사회과학연구소 2000 社會科學論叢 Vol.24 No.-
The paper aims to compare the safety between highway and the national road in South Korea. I first of all,we will try to evaluate the accident rates by VEK(vehicle kilometers traveled) for the express highway and for the national road. All things being equal, each accident rate will tell which road is more safe. For the result of this paper, the accident rate, fatal rate, inury rate of the national road are respectively 4.5 times,2.0 times,3 times as hogh as that of express highway. In conclusion, the express highway is more safe than the national road though our method.

While tremendous efforts have been made for developing thin perovskite films suitable for a variety of potential photoelectric applications such as solar cells, field-effect transistors, and photodetectors, only a few works focus on the micropatterning of a perovskite film which is one of the most critical issues for large area and uniform microarrays of perovskite-based devices. Here we demonstrate a simple but robust method of micropatterning a thin perovskite film with controlled crystalline structure which guarantees to preserve its intrinsic photoelectric properties. A variety of micropatterns of a perovskite film are fabricated by either microimprinting or transfer-printing a thin spin-coated precursor film in soft-gel state with a topographically prepatterned elastomeric poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) mold, followed by thermal treatment for complete conversion of the precursor film to a perovskite one. The key materials development of our solvent assisted gel printing is to prepare a thin precursor film with a high-boiling temperature solvent, dimethyl sulfoxide. The residual solvent in the precursor gel film makes the film moldable upon microprinting with a patterned PDMS mold, leading to various perovskite micropatterns in resolution of a few micrometers over a large area. Our nondestructive micropatterning process does not harm the intrinsic photoelectric properties of a perovskite film, which allows for realizing arrays of parallel-type photodetectors containing micropatterns of a perovskite film with reliable photoconduction performance. The facile transfer of a micropatterned soft-gel precursor film on other substrates including mechanically flexible plastics can further broaden its applications to flexible photoelectric systems.

Dogs are useful models for studying human metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes mellitus due to similarities in physiology, anatomy and life styles with humans. Somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) facilitates the production of transgenic dogs. In this study, we generated transgenic dogs expressing the phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) gene, which is closely involved in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. In addition, we assessed the cloning efficiency associated with adult or fetal (cloned or natural mating) fibroblasts as a nuclear source. Cloning efficiency was determined by the fusion, pregnancy and cloning rates. The fusion rates were significantly high for fibroblasts from cloned fetuses, but the pregnancy and cloning rates were relatively high for cells from normal fetuses. Based on these data, fetal fibroblasts were selected as the nuclear donor for SCNT and genetically engineered to overexpress the PEPCK gene and dual selection marker genes controlled by the PEPCK promoter. The transgenic cells were introduced into oocytes and transferred into five recipient dogs, resulting in two pregnancies. Finally, three puppies were born and confirmed by microsatellite analysis to be genetically identical to the donor. One puppy successfully overexpressed PEPCK mRNA and protein in the liver. This canine disease model may be useful for studying the pathogenesis and/or therapeutic targets of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
