        DO와 ORP를 이용한 축산폐수처리 SBR운전 제어

        A pilot scale SBR (working volume, 20㎥) treating piggery wastewater was operated with real wastewater. The operation mode of intermittent feeding of raw water and sub-cycle with repeating anoxic-aeration conditions were adapted to avoid the high-strength nitrogen inhibition. In sub-cycle, aeration time for nitrification was tried to be controled with ORP and/or DO meter. The characteristics of control was somewhat different between ORP and DO. DO showed potential ability to detect complete ammonia oxidation point by the first order differential values or absolute value. Especially, DO was proved to be useful for high loading rates. ORP indicated the ending point of nitrification by the plateau appearing after bending point. Because ORP can be utilized as a diagnosis tool by its good sensitivity for the microbial condition in reactor, the simultaneous application of DO and ORP was recommended for the stable control of SBR.

        Optimization of Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer System for Maximum Efciency

        Optimal inductance and capacitance values of a receiver (Rx) LC matching network are proposed in order to maximize the efciency of capacitive wireless power transfer (CWPT). To maximize the overall Tx-to-load efciency, a general polynomial equation is proposed that gives an optimum Rx inductance and capacitance value under the given constraints of inductor losses, load impedance, and coupling capacitance. It is found that the efciency is maximized when the Rx input resistance is approximately equal to the impedance of the coupling capacitance. It is also shown that Tx inductance and capacitance values should be chosen based on the trade-of between efciency and Tx amplifer operation. The proposed method is applied to wireless charging of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) because the small Rx plate of CWPT can easily be mounted on a UAV. The fabricated system delivers 45 W with overall efciency of 78.2% across wide lateral misalignments even with a small Rx plate at 6.78 MHz.

        Pseudomembranous colitis, caused by altering the normal colonic flora and allowing the multiplication of Clostridium difficile, is an deleterious adverse effect of antibiotics. But it is rarely reported by rifampicin. Rifampicin is one of the first line drug in the treatment of tuberculosis and many patients are exposed to its potential adverse effects. We experienced a patient that had abdominal discomfort and hematochezia due to pseudomembranous colitis after receiving antituberculous medication, and which was probably caused by rifampicin. A 82 years old man was admitted with abdominal discomfort and hematochezia for one week. On the past history he had been diagnosed as endobronchial tuberculosis about 4 months ago. Colonoscopy revealed multiple discrete whitish mucosal lesion on rectosigmoid colon, and histologic findings were consistent with pseudomembranous colitis. The antituberculous agents were discontinued and vancomycin was administered. The patient's symptoms were resolved within several days. There was no recurrence after reinstitution of the antituberculous agents excluding rifampicin. We report here on a case of pseudomembranous colitis probably due to rifampicin.

        State Indicator of Water Quality for Surface Water and Groundwater in Agriculture

        Indicators of environmental conditions qualitatively and quantitatively describe the state of the environment and natural resources, and the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) has initiated and suggested AEIs (Agri-Environmental Indicators) to assess trends over time of the effects of agriculture on the environment and the effectiveness and efficiency of agricultural and environmental policy measures since 1990's. This study aims to develop the state indicators of water quality for agricultural water, surface and groundwater, to evaluate the environmental impacts of agricultural activities and policies by qualifying the environmental levels of a nation. Status indicators were calculated according to the agricultural water quality standards of OECD and Korea, and their trends were analyzed over time. Particularly, nitrate ($NO_3{^-}$) status indicators of ground water in 2013 were significantly lower than the ones in 2000. Overall, the water quality indicators of surface water in 2013 were higher than the ones in 2012, except for pH and DO. The groundwater quality indicators in 2013 were lower than those of previous years. The optimal management indicators were calculated to assess agricultural surface water and groundwater quality. The findings of this study indicated that the state indicators could play a significant role to establish policies and procedures for managing and conserving water resources. This study also discussed water pollution caused by agricultural and industrial effluents.

      • 비교반응이 감귤생육에 미치는 영향

        Citrus growing in Cheju-do, Korea has increased remarkably for the past several years. In 1971 the citrus acreage in Cheju-do will have increased to 150,000 acres(6,000 hectars). To avoid frost, citrus growing in Cheju-do is confined to the coastal area below 200 metes avove sea level. The average orchard size is limited to small unit size. This has necessitated a high level of attention to individual tree health and production in orchard management. But in Cheju-do citrus farmers have not been able to solve various problems corretly in order to obtain maximum yield with high quality. Therefore, the solution of these problems necessitates the use of the systematic application methods fertilizers to citrus. From the experimental results of the application of some fertilizers to citrus unshu and the analysis of leaves, we gained important knowledge regarding citrus unshu. The effectiveness of fertilizers was studied under normal field conditions and with pot experiment in the field. The amount of fertilizer applied as base fertilizer was divided into 17 treatment with 8 factors. The effects of nitrogen on the trees were significant increases in height, trunk diameter, number of leaves, and length of branches, but the other mineral nutrient did not show such effect. Through leaf analysis the low calcium concentrations and very high iron and copper concentrations were determined. The first fertilizer applications were made in 1969 and records taken for the period 1970∼1971. This report is only the first presentation of data collected. These studies will be continued through 1974.

      • Banana의 栽植時 吸芽크기가 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響

        본 試驗은 1985年 3月부터 1986年 3月에 걸쳐 栽植時 吸芽의 크기가 生育과 收量에 미치는 影響을 究明하기 위하여 濟州大學校 附設 亞熱帶農業硏究所 plastic vinyl house에서 遂行되었다. 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 栽植時 吸芽크기가 큰 植株는 草長, 假莖直徑, 葉幅, 葉長, 果掌當 果指數, 果梗直徑, 果房梗長, 果梗長, 果軸長이 增加되고 抽穗期와 成熱期가 短縮되었으나, 果指重, 果掌重, 果房重은 吸芽크기 뿐만 아니라 抽穗期와 成熱期에 따라 變化를 보였다. 果掌間 果掌當 果指數, 果指重, 果掌重은 吸芽 크기 보다는 果掌間에 따른 差異가 크고 果掌當 果指長, 果指直徑은 吸芽크기 및 果掌間에 따른 變化가 심하다. 果指長, 果指直徑, 果指重은 2단이 1단에 比해 增加하나 3단 이후 부터는 점차로 감소되는 경향을 보여주고 있다. 草長, 葉幅, 果掌數, 果掌當 果指數, 果房重은 吸芽의 크기와 正의 相關關係를, 果指重, 果指直徑, 果指長, 抽穗期, 成熟期는 吸芽크기와 負의 相關關係를 나타내었다. 果房重은 果掌數, 果掌當 果指數, 果房當 果指數, 果掌重, 果指重, 果指直徑, 果指長과 正의 相關關係를 나타내어 이들 形質의 크기가 增加함에 따라서 果房重도 增加되는 傾向을 나타내었다. This experiment was carried out to elucidate the influence of different size of sucker at planting time on the plant growth and yield in bananas (Musa cavendisii Lambert 'Dwarf Cavendish') from March, 1985 to March, 1986 in the plastic vinyl house at Research Institute for Subtropical Agriculture, Cheju National University, Cheju, Korea. The results obtained are summarized as follows. Plant height, pseudostem diameter width, and length of leaf, no. of finger/hand and bunch, length of bench stalk, fruit bearing stalk, were increased and days to bunch emergence and maturity shortened in the plant of large sucker size as comparing with that of small sucker size at planting time, but weight of finger, hand and bunch were changed by sucker size as well as days to bunch emergence and maturity. No. of finger/hand, finger weight/hand, and hand weight, among hands, were more changeable on different hands than different sucker size, length and diameter of finger/hand, were affected by different sucker size or hands. Length, diameter and weight, of finger/hand, were increased in 2nd hand against 1st hand, but tended to be decreased slowly from 3rd hand. Plant height, leaf width, no. of finger/hand, bunch weight were positively correlated, with sucker size. However, length, diameter and weight, of finger, days to bunch emergence and maturity were negatively correlated with sucker size. Bunch weight had positive correlations with no. of hand, no.of finger/hand and bunch, weight of finger and hand, finger diameter and length, that is, enlarging size of these characters increased bunch weight.

      • 바나나에 있어서 栽植樣式에 따른 年次間 收量 變化

        바나나 栽植樣式이 年次間 收量에 미치는 影響을 究明하기 爲하여 濟州大學校 亞熱帶農業硏究所 하우스 內에서 ‘Dwarf Cavendish ’를 長方形(2.45 ×1.25m), 三角形(1.75 ×1.75m) 및 正方形(1.75 ×1.75m)으로 栽植하여 1985年 3月부터 1987年 2月에 걸쳐 plant crop과 ratoon crop에서의 收量形質을 分析한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 出穗로부터 成熟까지의 所要日數는 ratoon crop에서 긴 편이었고 栽植樣式別로는 正方形, 三角形, 長方形 順이었으나 有意差는 없었다. 2. 果梗長은 ratoon crop에서 길었으나 果軸長은 반대로 plant crop에서 길었다. 3. 果房當 果指數와 果掌當 果指數는 年次間 및 栽植樣式間에 有意差가 없었으며 果指直徑은 ratoon crop에서 增加되었다. 4. 果房重은 ratoon crop에서 무거웠다. 5. 果房重에 미치는 栽植樣式의 影響은 ratoon crop에서 크게 나타났으며 長方形과 正方形에서 收量이 많았다. In order to elucidate the effect of planting arrangements on the yearly changes in yield characters, suckers of ‘Dwarf Cavendish ’ banana(Musa cavendishii Lamb.) were planted by the oblong(2.45 ×1.25m), triangular(1.75 ×1.75m), and square(1.75 ×1.75m) arrangements in March 1985, in the green house at The Research Institute for Subtropical Agriculture, Cheju National University, Cheju, Korea. Yield characters of two generations (plant and ratoon crops) were analyzed. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. More days from bunch head emergence to maturity were required in ratoon crop than in plant crop. No significant differences were recognized among planting arrangements. 2. While the fruit stalk was longer in ratoon crop than in plant crop, fruit bearing axis was longer in plant crop. 3. Number of fingers per hand or per bunch was not significantly different between generations and among planting arrangements. The diameter of finger in ratoon crop was wider than that in plant crop. 4. The weight of bunch in ratoon crop was heavier than that in plant crop. 5. The effect of planting arrangements on the bunch weight was remarkable in ratoon crop, and heavier bunch was obtained by the oblong and square arrangements.

        Productivity S/W 학습용 웹 코스웨어에서 상황맥락적 오류교정 패드백이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

        현재 웹 코스웨어에서의 형성평가와 이에 대한 피드백 시스템은 많이 구축되어 있다. 그러나 대부분 웹 코스웨어의 형성평가와 사용자 반응에 따라 제공되는 피드백은 실제의 문제 상황과 거리가 먼 상태에서 단순한 텍스트 형태로 정오의 표시, 정답 표시, 관련 정보의 표시 등을 제공하고 있다. 이는 자칫 피드백의 교정적 기능을 약화시켜 학습자의 학습 내용에 대한 이해와 학습 전이의 가능성을 감소시킬 수 있다. 또한 구성주의 학습이론에 따르면 학습은 그 것이 발생하는 상황에 영향을 받고 지식이 어떤 맥락에서 학습했느냐에 따라 다르게 학습되며 전이된다고 한다. 이런 배경에서 본 연구는 웹 코스웨어에서 형성평가를 실시할 때 학습자의 반응에 따라 피드백을 문제 상황과 밀접하고 유사하게 상황맥락적으로 제시할 수 있는 상황맥락적 오류고정 피드백시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 그리고 실제 Productivity S/W를 학습할 수 있는 웹 코스웨어에 ‘정오/정답제공형 피드백', ‘관련정보제공형 피드백’‘상황맥락적 오류교정 피드백’을 적용한 후 ‘상황맥락적 오류교정 피드백’이 학업 성취에 있어서 다른 두 가지 유형의 피드백보다 더 효과적인지를 검증하였다. Today there are many Web courseware systems for formative evaluation and feedback. Formative evaluation and feedback provided according to users’ response in most Web courseware systems, however, are simple texts showing only whether correct or wrong, correct answers, relevant information, etc., far deviated from actual context. Thus such a system may weaken the corrective function of feedback and, as a result, reduce learners’ understanding of contents and the possibility of leaming transfer. In addition, according to the learning theory of constructivism, learning is influenced by the situation, in which it happens, and knowledge is learned and transferred differently depending on the context in which it is learned. In the background, this study designed and implemented a contextual error-correction feedback system that can provide feedback in a context closely related and similar to the relevant situation according to the response of learners when formative evaluation is carried out in Web courseware. In addition, it applied ‘correction/correct-answer-providing feedback’, ‘relevant information providing feedback’ and ‘contextual error-correction feedback’ to Web courseware for learning actual productivity S/W and verified if ‘contextual error-correction feedback’ is more effective than other two types of feedback for learners’ academic achievement.

      • 스테비아(Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni)에 있어서 收穫時期 및 方法이 收量에 미치는 影響

        스테비아의 收穫時期 및 方法이 生育과 收量에 미찌는 影響을 究明하기 위하여 調査한 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 草長의 伸長은 幼苗期에 緩慢하게 進行되다가 그 後 발뇌기까지 氣溫의 上昇과 더불어 急激하게 伸長하였고 그 以後에는 伸長速度가 低調하였으며 分枝數와 葉數는 8月中~下旬에 增加現象이 뚜렷하였다. 乾物重의 增加는 生體重의 增加와 비슷한 傾向을 보였고 乾根重의 增加도 地上部 乾物重과 比例的으로 增加하였다. 生育 時期別 全 乾物重에 대한 植物體 各 部分의 乾物衆의 比率은 幼苗期에는 잎이 월등히 높고 生育이 進展됨에 따라 莖枝의 比率이 漸次 增加하여 生育 後期에는 오히려 잎보다 높아졌다. 收穫時 刈取部位가 높을 수록 枯死率이 增加하였으며 晩刈區는 早刈區에 比해서 枯死率이 높았고 適定 刈取部位는 10∼15cm였다. 收穫回數는 年2回(1回 : 8月 5日 2回 : 9月20日) 하는 것이 收量도 많았고 安全한 收穫 方法으로 認定되었다. This experiment was carried out to evaluate effects of harvesting time and height on growth and yield of stevia in order to establish its cultural pracctices in cheju-do. The growth of plant height showed three patterns: slow increase at the early growth stage, rapid increase at the bud formation stage and decrease after the bud formation. The number of branhches and leaves greatly increased during the period from middle to late August. The leaves contributed to increase int the total dry weight at the early stage, but stems and branches contributed to increase in the total dry weight as growth stage progressed. The percentage of dead plants was decreased as the cutting height from ground at the first harvesting was increased and the optimum cutting height was 10 to 15cm. The percentage of dead plants was higher in the late cutting than in theearly cutting. The highest yield was obtained from the treatment of two times harvesting on 5th August and 20th September.
