        Diamond-like carbon(DLC) thin films have been fabricated by pulsed laser deposition method with various deposition parameters. The characterization of fabricated thin films was performed depending on the deposition parameters. As the kinetic energy provided by deposition temperature and the laser energy density were increased, the film showed graphite properties. Structural properties of the films were investigated by Raman spectroscopy. The growth energy should be optimized to fabricate high quality DLC thin films. DLC films showed high hardness and their friction coefficients were measured to be about 0.2 regardless of the load of the ball pin.

        식물성 식품중 총플라보노이드 함량과 생리활성 탐색

        The contents of total flavonoids, total antioxidant status and superoxide scavenger activity of edible plants were measured. Among twenty one samples of leafy vegetables and teas, mugwort (Artemesia capillaris) and green teas gave high total flavonoids contents, 48.2㎎/g sample and 44.7㎎/g sample, respectively. The highest concentration of total flavonoids among eighty nine samples analyzed was 52.1㎎/g sample from propolis. When samples were tested for total antioxidant status, a kind of groundsel showed the highest Total Antioxidant Status(TAS) value, 13.4 mM among leafy vegetables and teas and green tea gave high TAS value, 11.84 mM. On the other hand, purslane gave the lowest TAS value, 0.01 mM. The superoxide scavenge activity was measured from the extracts of all edible plants. The superoxide scavenge activity of polygonatum (81.1%) and chrysantemum (78.5%) were the highest among leafy vegetables, teas and medicinal plants. On the other hand, ginseng, poria, cassiae semen and dioscoreae rhizoma showed no superoxide scavenge activities.

      • 外來患者 및 돼지에서의 間接Latex凝集反應法에 依한 Toxoplasma 抗體價 調査硏究

        This study was undertaken to konw the sero-epidemiologic meanings of toxoplasmosis by Indirect Latex Agglutination test of 514 general outpatients and 100 pigs. The results were obtained as follows: 1. Toxoplasma antibody titers were showed as 418 negative cases(81.3%), 63 cases(12.2%) in a titer of 1:16, 20 cases(3.9%) in a titer of 1:32, 8 cases(1.6%) in a titer of 1:64, 3 cases(0.6% ) in a titer of 1:128 and 2 cases(0.4%) in a titer of 1:256, respectively. 2. Antibody titer was somewhat declined to the nineteen ages (from 6.1% to 3,0%) but was increased from twenty to fifty-nine ages(from 9.1% to 24.2%). The positive percentage of Toxoplasma antibody titers were the highest as 24.2% in the fifties group. Totally, 33 cases(6.5%) among 514 patients was showed as positive reaction. 3. According to the sex group, 16 cases of the male and 17 cases of the female were showed as positive reaction 5.6%, 7.5%, respectively. Positive rates of the female was somewhat higher than that of the male. 4. Antibody titers of sera of the pig were shown as 65 negative cases(65%), 24 cases in a titer of 1:16(24%), 6 casesin 1:32(6%), 3 cases in 1:64(3%) and 2 cases in 1:1.28(2%), respectively . Totally, positive rates was 11%.

        흰쥐의 Adjuvant 유발 다발성 관절염에 대한 마황 약침의 치료 효과

        The current studies investigated the therapeutic effects of Ephedra sinica Stapf (ES) herb-acupuncture on the inflammatory responses of rat arthritic joint, which was induced by the intradermal injection of heat-killed Mycobacterium tuberculosis emulsified in squalene to the base of the tail. The measurements of body weight and articular index were exploited as the assessment methods addressing arthritic symptoms, and the expression profiles of cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 in the, rat joint were analyzed using RT-PCR. The articular indexes of arthritic rats were significantly restored after the treatment with ES herb-acupuncture. Although the clinical symptoms of arthritic rats were apparently alleviated by the ES treatments, their body weights were not recovered. It maybe due to the weight-loss and energy enhancement effects of ES extracts. The expression of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 enes, which were highly stimulated in the knee joints of arthritic rats, were restored to the levels of normal rats after the ES treatment. The therapeutic effect of ES herb-acupuncture was not observed in ES-treated, non-acupoint arthritic group as a sham control. The ES herb-acupuncture into an acupoint ST36 was found to be effective in alleviating the arthritic symptoms in adjuvant-induced arthritis rats as regards the body weight, joint appearance and the expression profiles of inflammatory cytokines.

      • Interferon-gamma 투여에 의한 Toxoplasma 감염 마우스의 면역학적 변화

        This study was performed to evaluate differences of immune responses according to the injection period of recombinant mouse interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in acute murine toxoplasmosis. Each mouse was infected intraperitoneally with 100 cysts of Beverley strain of T. gondii, and injected with 5 × 10 ^4 units of IFN-γ every other day for a total of two injections. From the 1st week after infection, blastogenic responses of splenocytes to concanavalin A(Con. A, 2.5㎍/ml) and Toxoplasma antigen(30.0㎍/ml) were examined at 1 week interval for 4 weeks. Also serum IgG and IgM antibody titers were examined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and immunohistochemical study of brain tissues were done at the same time. Toxoplasma antigen-treated blastogenic responses were significantly increased in the IFN-γ injected groups as compared with Toxoplasma-infected group. However Con. A-treated blastogenic responses were increased in the mice that received two doses of IFN-γ on day 4 and 2 before infection, or day 2 and 0 before infection. The serum IgG and IgM antibody titers of IFN-γ injected groups were increased from 2 weeks after infection, and IgM antibody titers were increased at 2 and 3 weeks after infection as compared with non-infected group. No significant differences were revealed between IFN-γ injected groups and Toxoplasma-infected group. T gondii was found as tachyzoites at 2 weeks after infection, and cysts found in 4 weeks. However, no T. gondii was detected in IFN-γ injected groups in the same period. The results suggested that IFN-γ administration to T. gondii-infected mice improve the cell-mediated immune responses, especially when IFN-γ was injected just before T. gondii infection. But there was not significant differences serum antibody titers and immunohistochemical findings of brain tissues according to the injection period of IFN-γ.

        The transfer girder system has many problems and difficulties on the structural analysis and design process because of a sudden change of rigidity and excessive stress concentration at the transfer floor. Besides, the transfer girder is mainly affected by the behavior and load transmission process of the upper structural system. So, the purpose of this study is to estimate the form and magnitude of the loads transmitted to the transfer girder from the upper wall and to develop a calculating method about the inequality stress distribution which mainly affects the moment distribution of transfer girder at the transfer floor.

      • 소형 풍력발전시스템을 위한 계통연계형 인버터에 관한 연구

        We imported technology from abroad and studied grid connected type wind power generation owing to the lack of technology, but nowadays we conduct researches in many quarters because of national supporting policy. However, the research speed is delayed by burden for research expense which wind power generation is huge. Therefore, in order to experiment on various kinds of the wind turbine, generator, and converter easily, the development of wind power system is demanded powerfully among research workers. In this paper, in order to satisfy this need, I suppose a new simulation development environment. The electric power generated by wind is changing, so by using the converter, schedule electric power must be provided. Therefore, in this paper, I explained an element of the converter of the wind power generation system by showing two examples. First, Diode rectifier and current controlled voltage source inverter by using IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) element was used in the wind power generation system. Second, rectifier for control by using IGBT and current controlled voltage source inverter by using IGBT element was connected the grid. Simulation for two examples of grid connected type wind power generation system uses PSCAD/EMTDC and analyzed the result.

      • 프로 골프선수의 심리적 방해 요인과 대처방안에 관한 연구

        This study aims to provide both basic material regarding the technical psychological discipline of performance enhancement and aid understanding of the characteristics of each step through recognizing, comparing and analyzing psychological hindrance and the treatment methods between professional, possessing high-levels of performance, and semi-professional golfers. A survey was used as the measuring tool. This survey was completed by 30 members of the KPGA (Korea Professional Golfers' Association) who are regular participants in the golf tour and a corresponding number of semi-professional golfers who take part in the second division tour. SPSS 12.0K for Windows was used for data processing. Both cross tabulation(x^(2)) and T-test were used to analyze the statistical data. The results obtained are detailed as follows. Firstly, one major cause of psychological hindrance is problems relating to the swing, balance or rhythm. More professional golfers (96.0%) considered these as psychological hindrance than did semi-pro golfers (80.0%). On the other hand, the results indicate that semi-pro golfers feel greater burden than pro golfers when there are slumping, there are schedule or time changes, bad weather, expected 3 putts, disagreements with caddies and also when the second shot is obstructed. Secondly, when performance is affected due to a lack of discipline, the results indicate a significant difference between the two groups(Other problems do not.), with the influence felt more by the semi-pros than the pros. Thirdly, another significant difference appeared when the players' played badly and their partners' performance was relatively better regarding the treatment methods to mitigate psychological hindrance between the two groups.

      • Oxametallaborane 및 Metallacarborane과 Phenyl Carbene 반응에 대한 반응성과 반응메카니즘

        거대고리 뭉치 붕소화합물 중 산소원자를 포함하는 oxametallaborane과 탄소원자를 포함하는 metallacaborane을 이용하여 새로운 metallacarborane을 합성할 수 있는 방법을 알아보고 [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H10]과 [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H12]를 합성한 후 이들에 phenyl diazomethane을 반응시켰다. [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H10]과 phenyl diazomethane의 반응생성물은 예상과는 달리 cis-및 trans-stilbene과 trans, trans-benzaldehyde azine이었다. 카르벤의 이량화 반응은 [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H10]의 촉매 작용에 의해 촉진 되었다. Oxametallaborane의 Pt-원자에 있는 d-오비탈이 카르벤의 삼중항 상태의 T1과 T2전자상태를 안정화 시켰다. [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H12]와 phenyl diazomethane의 반응생성 oxametallaborane의 결과와 유사하였고 동시에 미량의 C-카르벤 삽입 반응생성물이 생성되었다. Metallacaborane의 탄소 원자궤도함수인 SOMO와 phenyl diazomethane의 LUMO가 반응하여 분자궤도함수 에너지를 낮추는데 기여하였다. The reaction mechanism and a new synthetic method using oxametallaborane and metallacarborane compounds are investigated. [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H10] and [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtCB8H12] are synthesized then, reacted with phenyl diazomethane to find out a new synthetic method corresponding to the metallacarborane cage compound. Unexpectedly cis- and trans-stilbene and trans, trans-benzaldehyde azine are produced from the reaction of [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H10] with phenyl diazomethane. [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H10] is operated as a kind of catalyst to yield dimerization product of carbene. The d-orbital in Pt-atom of oxametallaborane stabilizes the two triplet states of carbene, T1 and T2. A similar reaction products are produced from the reaction of [9,9-(PMe2Ph)2-arachno-9,6-PtOB8H12] with phenyl diazomethane and a trace amount of a new product is also produced such as C-carbene insertion reaction product simultaneously. The molecular orbital energy is lowered by the SOMO energy of metallacarborane and the LUMO energy of phenyl carbene.

      • 신원방우황청심원액의 심혈관계에 관한 약효

        Abstract-In order to investigate the pharmacological properties of New Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon Liquid (NSCL), effects of Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon Liquid (SCL) and NSCL were compared. In isolated rat aorta, NSCL and SCL showed the relaxation of blood vessels in maximum contractile response to phenylephrine (10^-6 M) regardless to intact endothelium or denuded rings of the rat aorta. Furthermore, the presences of the inhibitor of NO synthase and guanylate cyclase did not affect the relaxing effect of NSCL and SCL. NSCL and SCL inhibited the vascular contractions induced by acetylcholine, prostaglandin endoperoxide or peroxide in a dose-dependent manner. In conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs), NSCL and SCL significantly decreased heart rate. NSCL and SCL, at high doses, had a negative inotropic effect that was a decrease of left ventricular developed pressure and (-dp/dt)/(+dp/dt) in the isolated perfused rat hearts, and also decreased the contractile force and heart rate in the isolated rat right atria. In excised guinea-pig papillary muscle, NSCL and SCL had no effects on parameters of action potential such as resting membrane potential, action potential amplitude, APD_90 and V_max at low doses, whereas inhibited the cardiac contractility at high doses. These results suggested that NSCL and SCL have weak cardiovascular effects with relaxation of blood vessels and decrease of heart rate, and that this effect is no significant differences between cardiovascular effects of two preparations.
