      • 유도선수의 여가 참여형태에 따른 만족도 분석

        본 연구는 엘리트 유도선수들이 과연 여가시간을 어떠한 방법으로 활용하는지에 대한 의문을 바탕으로 문제해결을 시도하였으며 이를 통하여 여가 참여 형태와 여가 만족에 대한 측면을 분석하였다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 유도선수들의 여가활동에 대한 의식 및 만족도를 파악할 수 있었으며 또한 유도선수들이 효율적인 여가시간을 가질 수 있는 방안을 고안하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 중, 고등학교와 대학교에 재학 중인 유도선수들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 여러가지 각도, 참여정도, 여가경비, 여가제약, 여가동기, 선호여가형태 등을 조사하였고, 아울러 여가만족도를 심리적 요인, 휴식적 요인, 교육적 요인, 사회적 요인, 환경적 요인, 그리고 생리적 요인으로 구분하여 교차분석과 분산분석을 실시하였다. 사후검증은 Turkey(표준화검정)을 실시하여 분석하였다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 유도선수들의 여가참여정도에 따라 여가만족도는 교육적 요인, 사회적 요인, 그리고 환경적 요인에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 유도선수들의 선호여가형태에 따라 여가만족도는 교육적 요인과 생리적 요인에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 유도선수들의 여가제약에 따라 여가만족도는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 넷째, 유도선수들의 여가경비에 따라 여가만족도는 사회적 요인에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 마지막으로 유도선수들의 여가동기에 따라 여가만족도는 유의한 차이가 없었다. The purpose of this study was to explain the judo players' leisure time and satisfaction through analyzing their leisure participation patterns and satisfaction. This also pursuits effective understanding of the leisure time and relationship between training and leisure time of Judo players. For the purpose of the study, the research participants (315 out of 355) were conducted from groups of middle school, high school and college judo players with questions of perception, frequency of participation, involved expense, limitations, motivation, and preferences toward leisure activities. These variables were used to quantify the tendency of leisure satisfaction. In the data analysis, frequency test, Chi-square test, and One-way ANOVA were executed. Furthermore the data was grouped into psychological, resting condition, educational, social , environmental, and physical factors to analyze the degree and tendency of leisure satisfaction. The results were shown as follows: 1. There were shown significant differences from the leisure participation of Judo players about leisure satisfaction on the educational, social, and environment factors. 2. There were indicated as significant differences of the preferred patterns of Judo players about leisure satisfaction on educational and physiological factors. 3. There were not shown significant differences leisure constrains of Judo players about leisure satisfaction. 4. There were shown significant differences about the expenses for leisure of Judo players about leisure satisfaction on the social factor. 5. There were not suggested significant differences of the leisure motive of Judo players about leisure satisfaction.

      • Erythema severity scoring by deep neural network

        Background: Erythema is one of common signs of inflammatory dermatologic diseases. It is one of the measured values which are needed to calculate the Eczema Area and Severity Index score or Psoriasis Area and Severity Index score. However, automated standardization of erythema severity using images has not been investigated yet. Objectives: Our aim was to determine whether the deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) could assess erythema severity at the level of competence comparable to dermatologists’ scoring. Methods: We made a standard dataset of 4,000 clinical images showing erythema. These images were scored 0 to 4 by three dermatologists. First of all, we trained four CNNs (ResNet V1, ResNet V2, GoogLnet and VGG-Net) with the image dataset, and then examined which CNN was most suitable for erythema scoring. Results: : Among the 4 CNNs, ResNet V1 showed the highest accuracy. Compared to dermatologists’ scoring, the accuracy rates of ResNet V1, ResNet V2, GoogLnet and VGG-Net were 95.33%, 95.12%, 93.59% and 21.55%, respectively. Conclusion: These results suggest some CNNs have a performance capacity for erythema scoring at the level of competence comparable to dermatologists.

      • A case of eruptive penile syringoma

        A 12-year old boy presented with asymptomatic, multiple, 0.1 cm-sized, yellowish to brownish papules on the penile shaft for several years. The lesions appeared suddenly and there was no history of any trauma, injection or underlying disorder. A punch biopsy of representative lesions on the penis was performed. Histopathological examination revealed many tadpole-shaped cords of epithelial cells and small ducts in the dermis. The diagnosis of syringoma was made by the given clinical and histopathological findings. The patient denied any further procedure for those lesions. Syringomas are common benign eccrine neoplasms. Classic syringoma occurs more frequently in young adult women. Eruptive syringoma is a rare variant and the age of onset ranges from 3 to 50 years. Eruptive syringoma is the term for multiple lesions that occur synchronously in any part of the body. The most common site for syringoma is the eyelid. On the other hand, penile syringoma is extremely rare. Until now, there have been several cases of penile syringoma reported, but eruptive penile syringoma is rarely seen. Herein, we report a case of eruptive penile syringoma.

      • A novel tissue culture method using 3D bioprinting of melanoma acquired from patient derived xenograft model

        Background: Although advances have been made in in vitro technologies of culturing cells, there is limitation that microenvironment in which cells are cultured is not same as that in human skin, making it difficult to predict therapeutic response. Using 3D bioprinting in in vitro melanoma tissue culture would provide environments more similar to the physiologic conditions, realizing personalized medicine. Objectives: We investigated whether melanoma acquired from patient-derived xenograft model (PDX) is well maintained and proliferated when tissue culture is performed in 3D bioprinited skin. Methods: The melanoma acquired from PDX was sectioned into 0.2-cm diameter and 0.1-cm height. They were cultured on 3D bioprinted collagen, dermis, and full-thickness skin, and the size change and cell viability of melanoma tissues were measured. Immunohistostaining and western blotting for cell markers of melanoma were performed. Results: The novel tissue culture model was well maintained until the 21st day. There was no significant change in diameter or height and cell viability. New melanoma nests proliferation was observed both grossly and microscopically at the 21st day. The characteristic findings of melanoma were well observed with immunohistostaining and western blotting. These results were best seen in the melanoma tissue culture with 3D bioprinted dermis group. Conclusion: Melanoma tissue culture with 3D bioprinted skin may be a novel method for melanoma culture and in vitro model of melanoma.

      • Interleukin-31 production is associated with Histamine H4 receptor of CLA+ CD45RO+ T cell

        Background: Interleukin-31(IL-31) is Th2-cell-derived cytokine which can induce skin lesions such as atopic dermatitis(AD). IL-31 mRNA and protein expressions are largely restricted to CD4+ T cells, particularly CD45RO+ CLA+ T cells. Histamine-4-receptor(H4R) is upregulated under Th2 conditions, and H4R stimulation leads to the induction of IL-31 in vitro. However, the association between IL-31 and H4R in human has not been reported. Objectives: The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the hypothesis that H4R+ CLA+ CD45RO+ T cells produce IL-31 predominantly. Methods: Immunofluorescence studies were done on biopsy specimens of 5 AD, 3 prurigo nodularis and 3 controls. Blood samples were collected from 12 AD patients and controls. The H4R+ CLA+ CD45RO+ T cells were sorted by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). The level of IL-31 in the culture supernatant were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Under HPF, the IL-31+ H4R+ cell counts were 12.9, 6.7 and 0.0 in AD, prurigo nodularis, and controls, respectively (p<0.01). The result of FACS showed that the proportion of H4R+ CLA+ CD45RO+ T cells were 25.6 and 16.4 % in AD and control, each. These cells showed increased production of IL-31 in both stable and stimulated status in AD group(p<0.001), but not in control group. Conclusion: According to our study, H4R+ CLA+ CD45RO+ T cells are a major source of IL-31, and this subset may be targets for the treatment of IL-31 induced pruritus.

      • Recent trends of skin cancer in Korea from 2007 to 2013: a nation-wide cancer registry-based study with multicenter study

        Background: Although the incidence rates of skin cancers tend to increase, there have been few nation-wide epidemiologic studies on skin cancer in Korean. Objectives: We sought to investigate the incidence rates of skin cancers and time trends in Korean. Methods: We analyzed data of skin cancers from the Korean Central Cancer Registry (KCCR) from 2007 to 2013 and from our eight affiliated hospitals from 2007 to 2014. Results: Based on KCCR data and clinical records of dermatology outpatients from eight affiliated hospitals, a total of 27,757 cases were retrospectively reviewed. Overall incidence of skin cancer increased from 5.9/100,000 in 2007 to 9.2/100,000 in 2013. The incidence rates of non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) and malignant melanoma (MM) increased from 5.1 /100,000 to 8.3/100,000 and from 0.78/100,000 to 1.01/100,000 during the same period, respectively. BCC (75.5%) and MM (39.9%) were the most common skin cancer in the head and neck area and in the extremities, respectively. Conclusion: Our results suggest that recently the incidence rates of skin cancers have increased in Korean, and that epidemiological data from our study can contribute to establishing diagnostic and treatment guidelines for skin cancers in Korean.

      • Ectopic extramammary Paget’s disease occurring on the arm, an unusual location

        Extramammary Paget’s disease (EMPD) is a rare intra-epidermal adenocarcinoma that primarily affects apocrine gland bearing skin. Although usually affecting the apocrine gland bearing anogenital area, EMPD also rarely presents in non-apocrine bearing skin that called ectopic EMPD. Ectopic EMPD is clinically similar to psoriasis, lichen sclerosis and contact dermatitis. Thus clinicians should keep in mind of the possibility of ectopic EMPD when there is treatment-resistance eczematous skin lesion on the apocrine poor regions. Herein, we report a case of ectopic EMPD on the arm, and review the literature on the ectopic EMPD. A 67-year-old Caucasian man presented with an asymptomatic, irregular shaped, erythematous scaly enlarging pink plaque on the left upper arm for 5 years. Histopathological examination showed hyperkeratosis, acanthosis and proliferation of cytologically atypical epithelioid cells that proliferated diffusely in the epidermis, and there was no dermal invasion. Tumor cells were positive for cytokeratin 7 and negative for cytokeratin 20 by immunohistochemistry. Based on these clinical and histopathological findings, he was diagnosed with ectopic EMPD on the upper arm. The patient was treated with surgical excision. Positron emission tomographycomputed tomography, upper and lower endoscopy and laboratory tests were recommended for evaluation of internal neoplasm, but the patient refused.
