        The Effect of Balance between General Walking Exercise and Power Walking Exercise

        This study aims to compared effect of balance between general walking exercise and power walking exercise. Twenty subjects were classified into two groups, general walking exercise(n=10) and power walking exercise(n=10). As a result, two group showed difference within the group and there is significant difference between two groups. 1) In compared static balance of sway area at pre-post test to exercise group, general walking exercise group did not change significantly. however, power walking exercise group did change significantly. and At sway distance, two group showed significant changes. 2) In compared Static balance between the groups sway area and sway path at pre-post test, two group showed significant changes. 3) In compared dynamic balance of center distance at pre-post test to exercise group, general walking exercise group was no significant difference in all directions. power walking exercise group was significant difference in all directions. 4) In compared dynamic balance between the groups sway area and sway path at pre-post test, there was no significant difference in leftward, rightward, forward directions and was significant difference in backward, overall direction. Therefore, power walking exercise can be recommended promote balance.

        Histopathological changes and cadmium accumulations in the gills were investigated in crucian carp (Carassius auratus) exposed to 0, 0.01, 0.1, 0.5 mg/l cadmium (Cd)concentrations for 25 days. After 25 days of exposure, cadmium accumulations increased in each of the different exposure concentrations. Histopathological changes in the gills of curcian carp exposed to cadmium included the acidification of mucous cell, the terminal clubbing of lamellae, the hyperplasia of epitherial cell and the curved of secondary lamellae. The similar histopathological changes were observed once the accumulations of cadmium reached the similar levels found in the present study with the different exposure schemes. Also the acidification of mucous cell in gills appeared when cadmium accumulations reached 5 ㎍/g and more. These results suggested that histopathological changes in the gills, an appearance of mucous cell acidification, be used to estimate the relation between toxic effect and cadmium accumulations in the gills.

      • Increased Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation in Uremia Is Associated with Chronic Inflammation and Prevalent Coronary Artery Disease

        <P><I>Background.</I> Neutrophils are involved in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis by neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation. We hypothesized that the NET formation of neutrophils might be changed in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients, explaining their higher incidence of coronary artery diseases (CAD). <I>Method.</I> A cross-sectional study was performed in 60 maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients, 30 age- and sex-matched healthy individuals (HV, negative control), and 30 patients with acute infection (positive control). Neutrophil activation and function were measured with reactive oxygen species (ROS) activity, degranulation, NET formation, and phenotypical changes. <I>Result.</I> Compared with HV, neutrophils extracted from MHD patients displayed significantly increased levels of basal NET formation, ROS production, and degranulation, suggesting spontaneous activation in uremia. Also, an increase in citrullinated histone H3 was detected in this group compared to the HV. And neutrophils from HV were normal CD16<SUP>bright</SUP>/CD62L<SUP>bright</SUP> cells; however, neutrophils from MHD were CD16<SUP>bright</SUP>/CD62L<SUP>dim</SUP>, similar to those from patients with acute infections. Interestingly, multivariate analyses identified the prevalent CAD and neutrophil counts as independent determinants of baseline NET formation (<I>β</I> = 0.323, <I>p</I> = 0.016 and <I>β</I> = 0.369, <I>p</I> = 0.006, resp.). <I>Conclusions.</I> Uremia-associated-increased NET formation may be a sign of increased burden of atherosclerosis.</P>

      • 운동여부와 폐경 전·후 여성의 심혈관질환 위험요인 변화

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of coronary artery disease(CAD) risk factors in pre and post menopausal women based on exercise habits. The subjects were 172 women, which was divided into four groups, this is, exercise group & non-exercise group to pre menopausal and post menopausal women The attained data was analyzed the difference it by the independent t-test and ANOVA to post hoc with LSD with the level of significant 1% & 5%. The results of the study can be attained in the followings ; First, it was shown the significant defference between exercise and non-exercise group to exercise habit in %Fat. Second, it was shown the significant defference between exercise and non-exercise group to pre & post menopausal women in SBP, %Fat, TC, LDL-C, TG, AI. Third, it was shown the significant defference between pre-menopausal exercise group, post- menopausal exercise group, pre-menopausal non-exercise group and post-menopausal non-exercise group to exercise habit in SBP and defference between post-menopausal exercise group, pre-menopausal non-exercise group, post-menopausal exercise group and pre-menopausal non-exercise group to exercise habit in %Fat. Also, it was shown the significant defference between pre-menopausal exercise group, pre- menopausal non-exercise group and post-menopausal exercise group, post-menopausal exercise group to exercise habit in TC, LDL-C, TG, AI.

        한,중 FTA와 광양항 경유 대중국 수출상품의 비교우위

        본 논문은 무역특화지수, 산업내무역지수, 경쟁형태, 무역수지기여도를 이용하여 광양항을 경유한 대중국 수출상품의 경쟁형태와 비교우위를 분석하였다. 수출경쟁력 분석결과, 품질경쟁력을 유지하거나 SQC(품질경쟁력 확보)로 전환된 품목이 증가하였으며, 산업내무역의 형태는 품질은 유사하지만 제품의 속성이 차이가 나는 수평적 산업내무역의 형태가 대부분을 차지하였다. 또한 무역수지 기여도는 대다수의 품목에서 2008년 대비 2012년에 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 대중국 수출경쟁력의 경우는 분석대상 8개 품목에서 4개품목이 SQC(품질경쟁력 확보)로 나타났으며, 나머지 4개품목은 SPC(가격경쟁력 확보)로 분석되었으며, 광양항 전체 분석 결과와 동일하게 수평적 산업내무역 형태가 절대적이었다. 그리고 가장 큰 무역수지 흑자 기여도를 보인 품목은 크릴로니트릴-부타디엔-스티렌 공중합체이며, 가장 큰 무역수지 적자 기여도를 보인 품목은 두께가 4.75mm 이상 10mm 이하인 평판압연제품으로 나타났다. Korea’s exports to China were increasing in great volume around Gwangyang portare, but the circumstance has been changed. In the past, the two nations were in cooperative relationship when it comes to division of labor. However, now it has turned into competitive relationship. As China has achieved advancement of its industrial infrastructure, the country has been trying to produce intermediary products locally. Most exports from Gwangyang port are petrochemicals and exports to China takes 22% from the total ratio. Also, Korea-China FTA is about to be prepared. This agreement includes negotiation of general, sensitive and super sensitive areas. Therefore, there has been a change in competition when it comes to exports of major products via the port. Consequently, this study is conducted by analyzing statistics. Thus, the study is conducted by using TSI(trade specialization index), IITI(intra-industry trade index), competition pattern analysis, and contribution ratio to trade of balance in order to examine comparative advantage. According to the research, items that changedto SQC and maintained the competitive advantage for quality are increased. Also, majority of IITI(intra-industry trade) were horizontal intra-industry trade which shares similar quality, but different from product attribute. In addition, compare to 2008 and 2012,contribution ratio to trade of balancees calated in general. Also, this research studied comparative advantage on trade with China and 4 out of 8 items were identified as SQC(successful quality competition) and the others were recognized as SPC(successful price competition). According to the overall analyze of Gwangyang port, horizontal IITI was most common and criinonitrill butadiene styrene showed the most trade surplus record. Flat-rolled product (4.75mm above and less below 10mm) analyzed as the most trade deficit category. Consequently, exports to China in Gwangyang port has comparative advantage, but it is not very clear because this comparative advantage is a mixture of price and quality measures. Thus, in order to increase capacity-especially in case of Korea-China FTA- high value products should be developed by technical innovation.

        지열시스템의 그라우트 및 수온변화가 미생물에 미치는 영향 실험

        Objective of this study was to examine the effects of grouts and temperature change on microorganisms in geothermal heat pump. Groundwater samples were obtained from wells in the heat pump system during installation (Oriental medicine hospital) and in the heat pump system under operation (Business incubation center). Grouts are the volclay sodium bentonite. Real-time PCR was used to evaluate total bacterial number and 16S rDNA. The results showed that total bacterial number of groundwater in the heat pump operation was greater than that of non-operation case, which indicates a temperature effect on the bacterial culture. In addition, high concentration of grout showed an elevated bacteria number. In the mean time, a long-term field monitoring is essentially required to confirm the effects of the grouts and the temperature changes. 본 논문은 지열시스템의 설치 시 사용되는 그라우트와 운영에 따른 수온변동이 유발할 수 있는 미생물학적 영향을 실내실험을 통해 살펴보았다. 시료는 지열히트펌프가 아직 가동되지 않는 관정(한방병원)과 지열 히트펌프가 가동 중인 곳(창업보육센터)에서 채취하였다. 실험에 사용한 그라우트는 볼클레이 벤토나이트로 나트륨(Na)계이며 Real-time PCR을 사용하여 각 시료에서 추출된 총 유전자 DNA 중 세균이 가지고 있는 16S rDNA를 정량함으로써 전체 세균의 양을 평가하였다. 실험 결과 지열히트펌프가 가동 중인 지하수에서 총 세균양이 가장 많았으며 벤토나이트를 주입하면서 세균수가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 한편 그라우트 및 수온영향을 보다 명확하게 파악하기 위해서는 장기적인 현장모니터링이 요구된다.

        This study is a late study of “An Exploratory Study on STI policy impact assessment”. In the research of 2015, in principle, it is necessary to evaluate not only R&D investment but also general policies such as various promotion systems, standards and regulations by putting the term “policy impact assessment” in front of it We emphasized the points. However, it is practically very difficultto collect and analyze detailed data of all STI policies. In addition, it is also restricted to allow policy researchers to access data within a certain range. Therefore, this study focuses on the impact assessment of R&D investment, which accounts for the largest percentage of STI policies. In this research, the impact assessment system of R&D investment is analyzed by classifying it into evaluation of economic impact and social impact assessment. Also, the evaluation of economic impact was analyzed separating into a micro viewpoint and a macro viewpoint. First, The analysis of the economic impact assessment of the micro viewpoint relates to how the government’s R&D investment affects enterprises. Specifically, the main analysis target was the employment and investment of companies, the impact on sales and profits. Second, The Analysis for macroeconomic impact assessment on the economy is related to the influence of government’s R&D investment such as national economic growth, employment etc. We also analyzed the spillover effect by industry according to R&D investment. Third, The social impact assessment is to analyze how R&D investment has impacted technology-based social change. This study is a very difficult attempt. However, we analyzed from the point of view of the consumer considering all social change areas as much as possible. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the study of economic impact evaluation shows the effect of R&D investment and it can be used as a basis to improve the efficiency and goal of R&D investment in future sectors such as employment, economic growth and investment. Second, through research on social impact assessment, government R&D investment has focused on specific areas in terms of improving the quality of life and social development of people, and confirmed that most social sectors are neglected. In addition, we proposed policy priorities for specific social change indicators and social sectors and proposed long-term R&D investment strategies. Finally, this study is expected to contribute to the establishment of future strategy of private enterprise through the measurement of social change index, the social influence of private research and development, and the influence of technology shock from abroad.

        Human nature has various meaning. According to the academic tradition in eastern society, it's meaning is originated from Shimsungron about human being. But recently common meaning people usually use is based on character or personality which is related to the academic logic in western society. The purpose of the beat training of Taekwondo is to discipline the body and the mind also to develop a phase of personality. Disciplining body is helpful in physical training, disciplining mind is good at spirit training. I would like to research the effects of beating training of Taekwondo to growing children's personality education and renew Taekwondo's physical, mental, social value by searching the effects in physical, emotional, social, behavioral attitude in school. Beating is powerful expressive means. The practical power and wonderful skills of Taekwondo is proved by beating obstacles in different ways. It shows high-concentration and strong aspects of overcoming, challenging the limit of human power and technology. With the spread of Taekwondo, people will have confidence by training. It will contribute to physical, social, mental health of a nation. Taekwondo should be a great education because it gives confidence to growing children and it is instructive in keeping desirable personality
