        A method of X-ray source spectrum estimation from transmission measurements based on compressed sensing

        A new method of X-ray source spectrum estimation based on compressed sensing is proposed in this paper. The algorithm K-SVD is applied for sparse representation. Nonnegative constraints are added by modifying the L1 reconstruction algorithm proposed by Rosset and Zhu. The estimation method is demonstrated on simulated spectra typical of mammography and CT. X-ray spectra are simulated with the Monte Carlo code Geant4. The proposed method is successfully applied to highly ill conditioned and under determined estimation problems with a good performance of suppressing noises. Results with acceptable accuracies (MSE < 5%) can be obtained with 10% Gaussian white noises added to the simulated experimental data. The biggest difference between the proposed method and the existing methods is that multiple prior knowledge of X-ray spectra can be included in one dictionary, which is meaningful for obtaining the true X-ray spectrum from the measurements.

        본 논문은 중국 湖甫雀 신문업계의 기본 상황, 인재개발, 매체 자원배치,뉴스, 광고 자원과 여러 시장 등의 5개 방면의 고찰을 통하여, 중국호남 신문업계의 발전과정에 존재하는 문제를 분석하고 더 나아가서는 심층있게 토의하고 중국 湖南省 신문업계의 발전 대책을 제기하는데 있다.본 고는 중국 호남성의 신문업계발전의 기본적인 現狀은 우세한 면도 있지만, 문제점도 안고 있다: 국내외 경제발전의 추세, 적극적이고 은전한 문화산업의 발전 정책, 유구한 湖湘문화의 축적, 우량한 신문전통과 비교적 양호한 신문업계의 기초, 동서로 연결되는 지리자연환경, 풍부한 인구 자원및 광대한 수요시장 공간 및 사회입문이후 가져올 발전 기회등, 모두 湖南省 신문업계가 지니고 있는 우세한 측면이라고 간주되는 동시에, 적지 않은문제점을 안고 있다. 이러한 문제를 요약정리해보면 아래의 5개 방면으로 볼 수 있다: 1.인제개발의 정체 2.매체자원의 배치 불합리. 3.신문뉴스의 빈곤. 4.광고 자원의 결핍. 5.수요시장의 발육 불충분. 상술한 내용을 존재하는 문제에 대하여 본문에서는 호남성 신문업체의 발전 문제에 대하여 다섯 가지의 기본전략을 제기하였다: 1.인재개발 전략: 인재관념을 바꾸며 인재체제를 개혁하고, 후배인재기지구축을 강화함. 2.매개전략을 재조직: 자원배치를 우량화하고 다종 경영을 실시하며 매체 실력을 강화함. 3.뉴스자원의 개발전략: 본거지에 입각하여 전국을 확대하며, 뉴스 자원을 충분하게 발굴한다. 4.광고 발전 전략: 경영이념을 갱신하고 경영방식을 개진한다. 또 광고시장의 이익을 확대한다. 5.수요시장전략: 신문 지명도를 높이고 발행제도를 개혁하여 수요시장을 적극적으로 육성한다.

      • GPR48 Promotes Multiple Cancer Cell Proliferation via Activation of Wnt Signaling

        The key signaling networks regulating cancer cell proliferation remain to be defined. The leucine-rich repeat containing G-protein coupled receptor 48 (GPR48) plays an important role in multiple organ development. In the present study, we investigated whether GPR48 functions in cancer cells using MCF-7, HepG2, NCI-N87 and PC-3 cells. We found that GPR48 overexpression promotes while its knockdown using small interfering RNA oligos inhibits cell proliferation. In addition, Wnt/${\beta}$-catenin signaling was activated in cells overexpressing GPR48. Therefore, our results indicated that GPR48 activates Wnt/${\beta}$-catenin signaling to regulate cancer cell proliferation.

        Research on Control Strategy of Hybrid Energy Storage System with Optical Storage Microgrid

        With the aim of improving the robustness of the hybrid energy storage system(HESS) and avoiding overcharging and reasonably managing state of charge (SOC), this paper proposed a HESS control strategy employing integral backstepping (IBS) method based on SOC. Firstly, on the basis of the hybrid energy storage control strategy of conventional filtering technology (FT), the current inner loop PI controller was changed into an controller employing IBS method to improve the robustness shown by the energy storage system (ESS) against system parameter perturbation or external disturbance. The current controller of the HESS employing inner loop integral backstepping method was designed and the Lyapunov stability was proven. Secondly, to avoid overcharging and over-discharging of the HESS and to reasonably manage SOC, an energy management strategy based on SOC was proposed to generate the current reference value of the inner loop controller employing integral backstepping method, and the energy management strategy based on SOC was designed as well. Finally, the simulation model of the HESS employing integrated backstepping method based on SOC was established, and the feasibility of this method was verified through simulation. It was shown by the results obtained from the simulation that the HESS control strategy employing integrated backstepping method based on SOC had greater anti-interference ability and improved the robustness of the system, in comparison with the control strategy of FT (PI) and FT (IBS) hybrid energy storage. In the meanwhile, the upper and lower limits of SOC of the ESS are supposed to be managed to avoid overcharging and over-discharging and to extend the life of the ESS.

      • Physical Properties of Gasoline-Alcohol Blends and Their Influences on Spray Characteristics from a Low Pressure DI Injector

        The density, viscosity and surface tension of gasoline-ethanol and gasoline-methanol blends were measured under various mixture ratios and temperatures. Based on the results of the physical property measurements, their spray characteristics from a multi-hole low pressure direct-injection (DI) injector were investigated in a constant volume pressure chamber using whitelight illumination technique. The injection and chamber conditions were set to simulate the typical in-cylinder conditions. The results show that the mixture density and viscosity increase as the alcohol-to-gasoline ratio increases while the surface tension is relatively insensitive to the alcohol-to-gasoline ratio. The density, viscosity and surface tension decrease when the mixture temperature increases. The spray images show that increasing of density and viscosity results in reduced spray penetration, however spray angle varies with surface tension inversely. The spray characteristics are dependent on fuel properties and ambient conditions. By optimizing the alcohol-to-gasoline ratios and ambient conditions, desirable spray characteristics could be achieved.

      • Review of Magnetic Coupling Resonance Wireless Energy Transmission

        This paper reviews the magnetic coupling resonance wireless energy transmission from the principle, models and theories based on the development and classification of wireless energy transmission technologies. Firstly, it introduces MIT coupled mode theory and the main circuit theory models and experiments, summarizes and illustrates the characteristics of the two theories. Secondly, it introduces the worldwide research progress in this area, including the circuit theories, three-coil energy transfer systems, multi-receptor, four-coil energy transfer systems, frequency tunable resonance body, adaptive tuning and frequency division, the loss distribution, new materials, mutual inductance coupling and frequency tracking. Finally combined with the main research content of magnetically coupled resonant wireless energy transmission, it points out the existing problems and the direction for the studies of the theory and application next step.

        Chinese herbal injections for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19): A narrative review

        Background The outbreak of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused more than 180 million infections and 3.9 million deaths. To date, emerging clinical evidence has shown the synergetic benefits of Chinese herbal injections in treating this contagious respiratory disease. This review aims to summarize and analyze the efficacy and safety of Chinese herbal injections in the therapy of COVID-19. Methods The literature from 3 electronic databases, PubMed, CNKI, and Web of Science, were searched using the search terms “COVID-19”, “SARS-CoV-2”, “traditional Chinese medicine”, “herb”, “herbal”, and “injection”. Then the identified articles were comprehensively evaluated. Results Limited data demonstrated that Chinese herbal injections could significantly improve the clinical outcomes of COVID-19 patients, especially in combination with conventional treatment strategies. The benefits of which were mainly associated with the relief of symptoms, prevention of secondary infection, regulation of inflammation and immune function. There was also evidence showing the inhibitory effects on SARS-CoV-2 replication in vitro. Nevertheless, available real-world data suggested the increased risk of adverse event. Furthermore, the defects of existing researches and the insights for discovering novel antiviral drugs were prospectively discussed. Conclusion Evidence-based advances revealed that Chinese herbal injections such as XueBiJing injection and ShenMai injection, exerted potent effects against COVID-19. Further laboratory researches and clinical evaluation are needed to gather scientific evidence on the efficacy and safety.

        Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy versus Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy in Definitive Chemoradiotherapy for Cervical Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Comparison of Survival Outcomes and Toxicities

        Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the survival and toxicities in cervical esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (CESCC) treated by concurrent chemoradiothrapy with either three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) or intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) techniques. Materials and Methods A total of 112 consecutive CESCC patients were retrospectively reviewed. 3D-CRT and IMRT groups had been analyzed by propensity score matching method, with sex, age, Karnofsky performance status, induction chemotherapy, and tumor stage well matched. The Kaplan- Meier method and Cox proportional hazards model were used for overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). Toxicities were compared between two groups by Fisher exact test. Results With a median follow-up time of 34.9 months, the 3-year OS (p=0.927) and PFS (p=0.859) rate was 49.6% and 45.8% in 3D-CRT group, compared with 54.4% and 42.8% in IMRT group. The rates of grade ! 3 esophagitis, grade ! 2 pneumonitis, esophageal stricture, and hemorrhage were comparable between two groups, while the rate of tracheostomy dependence was much higher in IMRT group than 3D-CRT group (14.3% vs.1.8%, p=0.032). Radiotherapy technique (hazard ratio [HR], 0.09; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.01 to 0.79) and pretreatment hoarseness (HR, 0.12; 95% CI 0.02 to 0.70) were independently prognostic of tracheostomy dependence. Conclusion No survival benefits had been observed while comparing IMRT versus 3D-CRT in CESCC patients. IMRT with fraction dose escalation and pretreatment hoarseness were considered to be associated with a higher risk for tracheostomy dependence. Radiation dose escalation beyond 60 Gy should be taken into account carefully when using IMRT with hypofractionated regimen.
