        미량의 코발트 첨가가 W-Cu 전기 접점재의 성질에 미치는 영향

        高負荷能을 갖는 W-Cu系 전기 접점재의 미량의 Co를 첨가함으로서 얻어지는 諸使用特性의 變化를 單純W-Cu系와 또 미량의 Ni을 첨가한 경우와 對比 조사하였다. W-Cu-Co (tr.)系는 W-Cu-Ni (tr.)系나 W-Cu系에 比하여 旣發表한 바와 같은^(1)) 燒結 및 溶侵時에 보여주는 有利한 製造上의 特性이외에도 그 전기적특성에 있어서도 뚜렷한 개선을 보여주었다. W-Cu-Co(tr.) 系는 同一한 使用條件아래에서 W-Cu나 W-Cu-Ni (tr.)系에 比하여서 보다 낮은 接觸抵抗과 contact erosion 율을 보였다. 이와 같은 낮은 contact resistance나 contact erosion 현상은 W-Cu-Co 系에서도 W-Ag-Co에서와 같이^(2,3)) Co_7W_6 金屬間化合物이 W粒子주변에 형성되어 접점저항의 증가를 가져오는 복잡 산화물의 형성을 저지하기 때문이라 생각된다. ※^(1)) 李載星, 文仁炯 : 大韓金屬學會, 1976年度秋季學術發表會서 "미량의 코발트 첨가가 W-Cu 전기 접점재의 수축거동에 미치는 영향"발표(同學會誌 14권 4호의 초록 발표) ※^(2)) Kabryamc, et al: PMI 5 (1973) 122 (3) I.H.         Identification and analysis of whole microcystin synthetase genes from two Korean strains of the cyanobacterium Microcystis aeruginosa

        Microcystins are cyanobacterial hepatotoxins, and are produced by nonribosomal enzyme complexes, mcy gene cluster. In this study, we report on whole mcy gene clusters from two Korean strains of M. aeruginosa that were blooming in Lake Paldang (FCY-26) and Geum river (FCY-28). Their specific gene locus, amino acid information, and sub-cluster orientation were also characterized in both strains. Both gene clusters are of 55 kb, and also each length, number and the arrangement are identical. Their sequence analysis revealed a cluster of 10genes (mcyA, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J) involved in the biosynthesis of microcystin, and mcyABC and mcyDEFGHIJ formed two polycistronic operon structures that are transcribed bidirectionally from a central promoter region between mcyA and mcyD. The analysis of SNPs provided different nucleotide composition and amino acid variations in two Korean strains of M. aeruginosa. This approach is useful to develop genetic indicators identifying toxic cyanobacteria and their cyanotoxins,and helpful for a better understanding of the diversities of mcy gene clusters, the biosynthesis of microcystin, and the mediation of environmental parameters causing algal blooming and HABs.

        Correlation between the DNA methyltransferase (Dnmt) gene family and genome-wide 5-methylcytosine (5mC) in rotifer, copepod, and fish

        DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs) are an enzyme family that catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group to DNA for a wide variety of biological functions. To determine whether the number and composition of the Dnmt gene family affects the 5-methylcytosine (5mc) ratio at the genome level, genome-wide 5mc ratios from three marine animals, the mangrove killifish (Kryptolebias marmoratus), an intertidal copepod (Tigriopus japonicus), and a monogonont rotifer (Brachionus koreanus), were analyzed in each organism after the cloning of Dnmt genes. Lineage- and teleost-specific gene evolution was observed in the vertebrate Dnmt3 gene family, while unique gene expansion was found in the T. japonicus Dnmt1 gene family. However, the rotifer did not have any apparent homologue of Dnmt1 or Dnmt3 in its genome. This gene information was highly supportive of genome-wide 5mc levels in the three marine animals. Therefore, the absence or presence of the Dnmt gene family could be an important evolutionary parameter of how this could affect genomewide epigenetic metabolism.

        Frequency Response 법에 의한 알카리금속 증기와 알곤의 열전도 도측정에 관한 연구

        The Frequency response to alternating current of a fine wire surrounded by alkali metal vapor was studied theoretically and experimentally for determining the thermal conductivity of the vapor. Data were obtained for cesium and rubidium vapors at pressures from 0.0829 to 0.214 atm. A new method was employed of correcting for temperature jump and vapor volumetric heat capacity. The reliability of the method is indicated by agreement with literature values for argon up to 1085℃. The standard error of the argon correlation is estimated at 1.6%, and the total probable experimental error in the cesium and rubidium vapor measurements is estimated at 5.1%.

        Ranking Tag Pairs for Music Recommendation Using Acoustic Similarity

In addition to the large pool of techniques that have already been developed in machine learning and data mining, various emerging applications have led to a wealth of newly proposed techniques. In the music information retrieval community, many studies and applications have concentrated on tag-based music recommendation. The limitation of music emotion tags is the ambiguity caused by a single music tag covering too many subcategories. To overcome this, multiple tags can be used simultaneously to specify music clips more precisely. In this paper, we propose a novel technique to rank the proper tag combinations based on the acoustic similarity of music clips.

        시청피로 저감형 S3D 영상 재생 시스템 구현 및 실시간 처리를 위한 알고리즘 연산량 분석

        최근 박스 오피스 상위권 작품들의 상당수가 Stereoscopic 3D 상영을 병행하고 있으며 삼성, LG 등 세계 유수 가전업체들이 3DTV 판촉에 열을 올리고 있다. 그러나 사람마다 양쪽 눈동자 간격이 다르고 시청 거리와 위치도 개인마다 다르다는 점을 무시한 채 동일한 양안 시차로 제작된 3D 컨텐츠를 시청하게 될 경우 실세계에서 느끼는 입체감과 커다란 괴리가 발생하게 되어 극심한 시각 피로와 두통을 유발하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 양안 시차와 시청 거리를 반영하여 입체 컨텐츠를 실시간으로 보정, 재생하는 S3D 렌더링 시스템을 제안 및 구현하고 그 연산 복잡도를 분석한다. 분석 결과 Optical Flow 알고리즘 블록은 한 프레임당 수행 시간이 최대 732초에 이르러 반드시 하드웨어 가속기 형태로 전용칩화할 필요가 있음을 확인하였고 Warping 알고리즘 처리 블록도 프레임당 최대 5.7초의 시간이 필요해 HD급 또는 1080p Full HD 화면 재생을 위해서는 함께 전용칩화 할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. Recently, most of movies top-ranked in the box office are screening in Stereoscopic 3D, and the world's leading electronics companies such as Samsung and LG are getting the hots for 3DTV sales. However, each person has different binocular disparity and different viewing distance, and thus he or she feels the severe visual fatigue and headaches if he or she is watching 3D content with the same binocular disparity, which is very different from things he or she feels in the real world. To solve this problem, this paper proposes and implement a 3D rendering system that correct the disparity of 3D content by reflecting binocular distance and viewing distance. Then, the computational complexity is analyzed. Optical-flow and Warping algorithms turn out to consume 732 seconds and 5.7 seconds per frame, respectively. Therefore, a dedicated chip-set for both blocks is strongly required for real-time HD 3D display.

        사물탕 및 四物湯加減方 藥鍼의 效能에 關한 實驗的 硏究

        Introduction : The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of Samul-Tang and Samul-Tang Gagambang aqua-acupuncture according to the manufacturing method of aqua-acupuncture solution. Method and Materials : Samul-Tang(Sample-A) and Samul-Tang Gagabang(Sample-B) aqua-acupuncture solution were manufactured by water-alcohol method(Sample-A1, Sample-B1) and steam distillation method(Sample-A2, Sample-B2). Each sample solution injected into Kwsnwon(CV4) of the mice and rate those had DIC, acute inflammation, anemia pain, and hypnotic state. Result : 1. Sample-A1 group showed significant increase of platelet count and fibrinogen content, and significant decrease of PT and aPTT on endotoxin-induced disseminated intravascular coagulation. Sample-B1 group showed significant decrease of PT. 2. All experimental groups showed significant decrease of edema on carageenin-induced edema and all experimental groups except Sample-A1 group showed significant decrease of edema on histamin-induced edema. 3. All experimental groups showed significant decrease on the increased vascular permeability induced by histamine 4. Sample-Al group and Sample-131 group showed significant analgegic effect on acetic acid method and all experimental groups except Sample-Al group showed significant analgegic effect heat plate method. 5. All experimental groups except Sample-A2 group showed significant prolongation on the hypnotic duration induced by pentobarbital-Na. 6. Sample-Al group showed significant increase of WBC count, RBC count, hematocrit value, hemoglobin content and platelet count and signifcant decrease of serum Fe content, Sample-B1 group showed significant increase of WBC count, hematocrit value, hemoglobin content and platelet count. Sample-A2 group and Sample-B2 group showed significant increase of WBC count and hematocrit value on the anemia induced by phenylhydrazine HCl . Conclusion: It was found that Samul-Tang and Samul-Tang Gagambang aqua-acupuncture had anti-thrombotic effect, anti-inflammatory effect, inhibitory effect to CNS, anti-anemic effect.

        Development and Application of a Novel Miniature in situ Microprofiler (NAFRI BelpI)

        We have developed a novel miniature in situ microprofiler (NAFRI BelpI) for coastal and deep-sea studies. The BelpI can carry up to three oxygen microsensors, and it allows for simultaneous replicate measurements in a relatively small area. All functions can be controlled and programmed via a small magnetic bar and three reed switches; this feature facilitates the initial setup both onboard and underwater. The large LCD window shows basic information such as the movement intervals of the linear stage, number of replicate measurements, waiting time between measurements, and the pA from the microsensors. From high-resolution vertical profiles of oxygen in coastal sediment measured using the microsensors, the diffusivity boundary layer thicknesses was determined to be in the range 0.30 - 0.35 mm. In addition, the time-series measurement of oxygen profiles in permeable sandy sediment showed advective transport of oxygen into pore water by tidal agitation. Two examples of in situ measurement using a BelpI suggest that it can be widely applied to the study of the sediment-water interface.

        In Search of the Real I: An Ethical Theory of Reading

        This paper is an attempt to contribute to the development of postmodern ethics by discussing the three contemporary Western thinkers and one Eastern thinker--Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan, and Emmanuel Levinas and Acharya Nāgārjuna. Derrida has no vision of non-reciprocal and perfectly self-sacrificial tendency of humanity beyond the phenomenality of experience, while Lacanian poststructural psychoanalysis is substantially close to Levinas’s ethical view. Lacan is assured that the way to the Real is open with what he calls “aphanisis in the Other locus.” Levinas’s claim is that humanity must not be first understood as consciousness but something beyond the function of consciousness. Consciousness’s capacity of the discernment has always already lost the proximity, the ethical dimension between the self and the Other. For my part, Buddhism would truly open the gate to the genuinely ethical dimension which, as the separate realm for the birth of phenomenon, makes empirical domain possible. Levinas calls the “saying” “the absolute breakthrough of oneself.” The “breakthrough” of the self has ever been the primary issue in Buddhism throughout its entire history, and it has never been more exposed and discussed in any other domain. Nāgārjuna shows that in order to confront the dimension of emptiness beyond the finite, one even has to avoid the risk of conceptualizing emptiness. Emptiness is never a state of absence opposed to presence; the emptiness is fullness that is the dimension of “the beginninglessness of an anarchy and in the endlessness of obligation” as Levinas explicates. It is this dimension of the real I that the reader fundamentally desires to reach and comes to glimpse. Toward the end, an ethical reading of Robert L. Stevenson’s novella, A Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is demonstrated. The reader’s experience of Jekyll and Hyde’s failures give way to her “experience par excellence” that can be explained by jouissance or the sublime.
