      • 立安散이 Angiogenesis 抑制棋戰에 미치는 影響

        This experimental study waas carried out to evaluate the effect of Yipahnasn on angiogenic inhibition mechanism. This study investigates the effects of Yipahnsan on angiogenic inhibition mechanism evaluate cell adhesive inhibition effect, DNA fragmantation analysis, nuclear condensation assay, FACScan analysis, angiogenic lumen formation assay, immunocytochemistry analysis, RT-PCR cor mRNA expression, western blot analysis, confocal analysis for Ca^2+influx. The results were wummarized as follows: 1. The cell adhesive inhibition ability was strongly increased from 5ug/ml on ECV304 cell line and ECVPAR cell line. 2. YY water extract caused G_0/G_1 arrest peak to existed on the ECV304 cell line. 3. YY water extract caused inhibition of proliferation and inducement of apoptosis on the collagen coated plate in ECV304 cell line. 4. YY water extract inhibited the lumen formation on the matrigel coated plate in ECV304 cell line. 5. YY water extract inhibited the expressions of LFA-1 and ELAM-1 on ECV304 cell line and ECVPAR cell line. 6. YY water extract inhibited the expressions of MMP-9 and uPA on ECV304 cell line and ECVPAR cell line. 7. YY water extract inhibited the expressions of integrin α_vβ_3 on ECV304 cell line and ECVPAR cell line. 8. YY water extract dereased the change of Ca^2+ in intracellular on ECV304 cell line and ECVPAR cell line. According to the results, Yipahnsan showed to be a key antagonist of integrin α_vβ_3 and to be induction of apoptosts by p53 through flow cytometry. This report also demonstrated that expressions of MMP-9 and uPA were blocked under the angiogenesis model. Thus, we suggested that Yipahnsan blocks angiogenesis by inducing apoptosis in ECV304 and ECVPAR cell lines, and another oriental herbal medicine that treats qi-stagnation and hlood-stasis type also has angiogenic inhibition effects.

        백서에서 창상파열장력에 영향을 미치는 약제들에 관한 비교 연구

        Wound healing of skin and soft tissues is accomplished by re-epithelization, contraction, collagen synthesis, and generation of granulation tissue. One of the end products of wound healing is the scar tissue. The biological processes of the greatest interest to the plastic surgeon is the creation of normal scar with adquate strength(collagen synthesis, deposition, and remodeling). This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of some drugs that control the amount of scar, such as beta-aminopropionitrile(BAPN), steroid, colchicine, and penicillamine. We compared the differences of the breaking strength and microscopic histology in healed wounds between the non-medicated control group and the medicated experimental groups at 7th, 14th, and 21th day. The results were as follows (1) The breaking strength of the medicated groups was less than that of the control group. There were no significant differences between experimental groups and control group at 7th day, while the strength of experimental groups markedly decreased at 14th, and 21th day. (2) In histologic finding, the amount of collagen deposition in wounds slightly decreased in medicated experimental groups, but there were no significant differences between control and medicated experimental groups. Therefore, it was found that the drugs used in this experiment significantly inhibited the increase of strength gain in wound. If these drugs will be administered after surgery, in order to prevent the delayed healing of the wound, it is desirable that these drugs should be administered when the wound healing have been completed.

        QFD 를 적용한 전자동 온도조절장치 개발사례 연구

        The Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a Quality Management technique to maximize customers' satisfaction by reflecting customer requirements into all business processes, including concept definition, product planning, parts planning, process planning, production planning, and sales planning. The basic concept of the QFD is to translate customers' requirements appropriately into engineering characteristics, into parts characteristics, into process characteristics, and into specific requirements and activities in production. In this study, we reviewed and analyzed the application process of the QFD to the development of A2 FATC (Full Automatic Temperature Controller), an automotive component developed and produced by company A. It has been reported that by applying the QFD to the development of A2 FATC, company A achieved 34% improvement in control robustness quality characteristic, 27% improvement in deviation quality characteristic, and 30% improvement in overall quality characteristics.

        구순열 비변형 이차 수술시 구륜근이 포함된 C-FLAP을 이용한 비익기저 함몰의 교정

        Nearly all the repaired cleft lip patients have varying degree of nasal deformities. Cleft lip nose deformities consist of defects of the lower lateral cartilage on the cleft side, the nasal septum, the columella, the nasal tip, and the entire nasal pyramid. The maxillary cleft and hypoplasia, and malpositioning of the the maxillary segments also contribute to the asymmetry of nose. In the correction of cleft lip nose deformities, numerous methods such as composite graft, deepithelized alar-base flap, dermal-fat flap of nostril floor, scar tissue flap, bone & cartilage graft and silastic implant have been introduced and tried to augment nostril floor and alar base. But there have been no standardized satisfactory method in result. At secondary revision of cleft lip nose deformity, we transposed and sutured the C-flap containing deepithelized orbicularis oris myocutaneous flap to the levator labii superioris & alar nasi muscles beneath the depressed nostril floor & alar base to augment them. We could maintain the musclar function by interconnection and fixation of orbicularis oris muscle to alar facial muscles. So, we prevented volume loss of the inserted muscle to augment the nostril floor & alar base by minimizing the muscular fibrosis and atrophy. In basal view photograph and physical examination, We found superior aesthetic results in most of them who had C-flap containing orbicularis oris muscle, and in long term histologic findings of orbicularis oris muscle inserted into the alar facial muscle, we could only find mild fibrosis and atrophy of the muscle but the general structures were maintained.

        처리된 계란 난막을 이용한 Biological Dressing의 실험적 연구

        In constant research for an ideal temporary biological dressing that will replace the skin covering destroyed by trauma, burn or other destructructive influences, however, none is perfectly ideal. We have been conceived the allantoic membrane of hen's egg as immunologically fetal structures just same as human amniotic membrane and have reported the successful results. But in preparation and application of allantoic membrane as a biological dressing we have experienced some difficulties such as limited availability, lacks of sterility and limited life span of allantoic membrane. To solve these problems we treated allantoci membrane in several forms and performed experimental biological dressing using healthy 10 rabbits. Clinical and histological examination in a relatively short periods(2~20 days) indicated that there was no evidence of inhibitory effects on reepithelization compare with fresh allantoic membrane. This prepared allantoic membrane was easily sterilized and stored at room temperature, capable of large scale production in commercial forms economically used in the burn patients.
