This paper presents an algorithm to design a robust servo controller that makes the controlled variable of the plant kept close to the response of a given ideal model to get a specified characteristic in the presence of disturbance. The design method of the digital control system is based on the quadratic criterian function for the discrete time system. The optimal digital control law contains a feedforward term of the reference signal in addition to the feedback term. It is also shown that the controller excludes the offset in the presence of the constant disturbance. In this paper, we considered the controller for constant reterence signal of model and constant disturbance at the plant. but it can be generalised to more general reterence signal and disturbance.

本 硏究는 中周波數(1-5㎑)節圍의 誘導加熱器 또는 誘導爐에 적합한 電流形 單相 thyristor 인버어터의 開發에 관한 것으로 system의 制御回路, 앞선 力率角 制御回路 設計 및 thyristor turn-off time制御技術을 提示했으며, 竝列補償된 負荷回路(單相인버어터 포함)의 特性을 調査, 硏究한 것이다. 本 硏究의 結果, 開發한 system 裝置는 매우 만족할 정도였다.

This paper deals with design method of the model following servo system in which optimal regulator problem is used to design the controllers that make the step/ramp response of the plant be kept. close to a specified ideal step/ramp response of the model. The characteristics of this system is robust in the presence of the specified disturbances or the parameter perturbations of the plant. Especially, by direct feedforward compensator from the reference input the steady state offset of plant output response is excluded and the transient response is improved. Examples are given and the results of the design of the model following servo systems are verified by the computer simulation.
