수치지도 등고선의 Model Key Point 추출과 Progressive Sampling에 의한 수치지형모델 생성

        이선근,염재홍,임새봄,김계림,이동천,Lee, Sun-Geun,Yom, Jae-Hong,Lim, Sae-Bom,Kim, Kye-Lim,Lee, Dong-Cheon 한국측량학회 2007 한국측량학회지 Vol.25 No.6

In general, contours in digital vector maps, which represent terrain characteristics and shape, are created by 3D digitizing the same height points using aerial photographs on the analytical or digital plotters with stereoscopic viewing. Hence, it requires lots of task, and subjective decision and experience of the operators. DTMs are generated indirectly by using contours since the national digital maps do not include digital terrain model (DTM) data. In this study, model key points which depict the important information about terrain characteristics were extracted from the contours. Further, determination of the efficient and flexible grid sizes were proposed to generate optimal DTM in terms of both quantitative and qualitative aspects. For this purpose, a progressive sampling technique was implemented, i.e., the smaller grid sizes are assigned for the mountainous areas where have large relief while the larger grid sizes are assigned for the relatively flat areas. In consequence, DTMs with multi-grid for difference areas could be generated instead of DTMs with a fixed grid size. The multi-grid DTMs reduce computations for data processing and provide fast display.

      • 大院君時代의 對歐美關係 硏究

李瑄根 慶熙大學校 1958 論文集 Vol.1 No.-

Having taken the reins of government, Taiwonkoon reigned over Lee dynasty with a reformative policy, defeating the king's maternal relatives, and endeavoured to pave a innovatory way, while he abolished the long-age corrupt system. His policy is also an example of a struggle for political power as well as that of the King's maternal relatives. He wilded power on autocratic and mighty adminstration against his polititical rivals who had hold the assembled cabinet. There is a good contrast in the adminstration of these two oponents: Taiwonkoon ruled his country with confidence without any attention to his own honour or popularity, but the maternal relatives with conspiracy and trick. Therefore, it is indisputable that he raised somewhat improved consequences to his reformative policy of home affairs. On the contrary to the home affairs, Taiwonkoon on his foreign policy was so ignorant of the then iuternational affairs and the situations of the world that his autocratic and mighty administration induced to drop rather into the international troubles. What a headless and imprudent blunder his foreign policy was! In spite of his foreign policy must be opportunism in its way, Taiwonkoon has it in contemplation to check the rushing streams of the western influences, standing to the unnegotiable national isolation policy. Judging from personal circumstances, it seems in a way very natural to apply the rigid seclusionism in his foreign plank, by which Lee dynasty brought about the more disorder and misfortune for her foreign policy, necessary for an elastic adninistration. I hereof look over the historical sketches and the relative merits of his inflexible policy, dividing it into some items.

      • 奇傑했던 開化僧 李東仁의 業績과 生涯

李瑄根 東亞大學校 1966 東亞論叢 Vol.3 No.-

After Korea has adopted the open-door policy with the signing of the Treaty of Amity with Japan in 1876 the efforts and contributions of Lee Tong-in 李東仁, a buddhist monk horn in Pusan for modernizing Korea were exceedingly great. And yet he has hitherto unduly neglected by historians, because he belonged to a class which had been looked down upon as a low caste. But, if we take a closer look at the Korean modern history on the eve of modernization, it is more than natural that he should be ranked high among the very few vanguards fur modern Korea. First, he escaped to Japan, breaking the prohibition of the strict national jaw, got acquainted with many Japanese, and learned not only the Japanese language and its culture, but also other necessary knowledges on modern world. Second, returning from Japan, he guided and encouraged touch aspiring young group of nobility class favoring modern reforms sa Kim Ok-kiun 金玉均, Kim Hong-jip 金弘集, and Mm Young-ik 閔泳翊, Particularly in 1880 and 1881, when he was appointed to the newly established office called Cham-mo-kwan 參謀官, his reforming zeals were felt in almost every sphere of the society. Third, he was entrusted by the King and it was through his efforts, with the assistance of Mim Young-ik, that the central organ for reforming Korea, Tong-ri-a-mun 統理衙門 was established for the first time. Fourth, during the preliminary negotiation with America for the treaty of amity of both nations which was held secretly at Ten-chin 天律 through the intermediary of Lee Hong-chang 李鴻章 he was assigned to draft the original copy of the treaty submitted from the Korean side. Fifth, in the spring of 1879 he was entrusted to select and send many young officials and civilians to Japan for study and observation. At the same time, he planned to modernize Korean army by purchasing modern weapons and war ships from Japan, with the help of Min Young ik, and even some of the necessary funds were collected. However, these and other activities and daring plans of Lee Tong-in were looked on with jealous eyes by the stiff-necked conservative forces and consequently he had to suffer persecutions. When he was about to embark on for Japan with a band of young gentlemen of his selection with grand design he was kidnapped by unknown hands. It was rumored later that he was murdered by the followers of Tai-won-kun 大院君. To this day there is no way of confirming it. This thesis is aimed at tracing the storming life of Lee Tong-in and placing him in the proper place in Korean modern history by digging up hitherto buried sources, though scarce.
