인터뷰 - 신선농산물 포장 설계를 위한 스마트폰 앱 개발

신선농산물의 포장 설계를 위한 스마트폰 application(app. 앱)이 개발되어 업계의 주목을 끌고 있다. 이 신선농산물 포장 설계 앱은 경남대학교 식품생명학과 식품포장학연구실이 농림축산식품부 연구비지원 사업인 지능형농식품포장연구센터(주관기관 동국대학교) 과제의 일부로 개발된 것으로 향후, 농산물의 생산자, 포장업계, 유통업계에 광범위하게 사용되는 것은 물론 소비자에게는 신선한 고품질 농산물의 제공할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 이번 앱 개발의 중심에 있는 이동선 교수에게 개발 과정과 함께 식품 포장업계의 현황 및 전망에 대한 견해를 들어보았다.

저산성 식품의 회분식 고온 스팀살균시 에너지소비를 요인별로 분석하였다. 물질수지 및 에너지수지 방정식으로부터 각 항목별 열손실 및 열사용을 예측하고 전체 에너지소비를 구하였다. 전도열전달 모델식품으로서 5% 벤토나이트용액과 대류열전달 모델식품으로서 물을 사용하여 301-7호관에 포장하여 열침투특성을 구하고 110℃, 121℃, 130℃에서 살균하는 조건에 대하여 분석하였다. 에너지 소비는 110℃에서가 121℃와 130℃에 비해서 현저히 많았고 요인별로 볼 때 이는 bleeding과 대류 및 복사열손실에 의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조건별 가열효율에 대하여 검토하였다. A procedure was developed for predicting energy consumption of batch type thermal processing of food. From mass and energy balance equations various energy usages or losses were estimated for steam sterilization of model food system in No. 301-7 can(Ø74.1×113.0㎜) at three different temperatures. Selected models were 5% bentonite solution for conductive food and tap water for convective food. Total steam or energy consumption was higher at 110℃ than at two other higher temperatures(121℃ and 130℃). High energy consumption at low sterilization temperature was mainly due to high bleeding steam energy and convective and radiative heat losses. Thermal energy efficiency was also disscussed.
LabVIEW® 기반 6축 수직 다관절 로봇(RS2)의 이종 모션 블랜딩 연구

For fast and accurate motion of 6-axis articulated robot, more noble motion control strategy is needed. In general, the movement strategy of industrial robots can be divided into two kinds, PTP (Point to Point) and CP (Continuous Path). Recently, industrial robots which should be co-worked with machine tools are increasingly needed for performing various jobs, as well as simple handling or welding. Therefore, in order to cope with high-speed handling of the cooperation of industrial robots with machine tools or other devices, CP should be implemented so as to reduce vibration and noise, as well as decreasing operation time. This paper will realize CP motion (especially joint-linear) blending in 3-dimensional space for a 6-axis articulated (lab-manufactured) robot (called as “RS2”) by using LabVIEW® (6) programming, based on a parametric interpolation. Another small contribution of this paper is the proposal of motion blending simulation technique based on Recurdyn® V7 and Solidworks®, in order to figure out whether the joint-linear blending motion can generate the stable motion of robot in the sense of velocity magnitude at the end-effector of robot or not. In order to evaluate the performance of joint-linear motion blending, simple PTP (i.e., linear-linear) is also physically implemented on RS2. The implementation results of joint-linear motion blending and PTP are compared in terms of vibration magnitude and travel time by using the vibration testing equipment of Medallion of Zonic®. It can be confirmed verified that the vibration peak of joint-linear motion blending has been reduced to 1/10, compared to that of PTP.

In this review, chemical structures, occurrences, and physicochemical properties of ester aroma compounds were investigated. Especially, database of useful aroma ester compounds was listed in a Table for their research and applications. Additionally, biosynthetic pathways of volatile esters in fruits were briefly discussed.

Ion mobility spectrometry is discussed in this review paper. Included are sections dealing with instrumentation, basic theory of ion mobility in gas phase. Analytical applications of ion mobility spectrometer as a stand-alone spectrometer or as a detector following gas, liquid, and supercritical fluid chromatography are described.
