        By applying a fresh solution of sodium plumbite (lead acetate plus sodium hydroxide) as a spraying reagent to paper chromatography brown spots were obtained on the paper chromatogram of the sulfur containing organic compounds, cystine, cysteine, cysteamine, cysteic acid, homcoystine, glutathione (reduced), cystathionine, and coenzyme A. Methionine yielded a yellow spot. The exuded juices of onion, leek, radish, and coriadrum sativa L. were tested for the above mentioned procedure.

        新HSK应试策略解析

        With the view of better serving for Chinese learners and based on the previous HSK, the levels of Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus(2009) is closer to theCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages(CEF) in concept, content and form, which is more suitable for the level tests of overseas Chinese learners. Based on ways of how to deal with this new test pattern,which is one of the most concerned questions of the candidates, this thesis studies 15 HSK level 4 test papers released, and analyzes modules of listening, reading and writing thoroughly from three aspects, separately the introduction of question forms, test-taking skills and analyses of important test items. Hopefully it can be useful for candidates coping with New HSK.

      • 放射化分析에 依한 還元溶出되는 士環Mn의 定量

        Two groups of paddy soils, three samples of soils with a moderate productivity and three samples of the soils suffering from AKIOCHI were analyzed for soluble manganese under a reducing condition by an application of activation analysis. Five grams of each soil were incubated at the temperature of 33-35℃ with one gram of glucose plus 50 ml. of water in order to provide the soil with water-logged and microbiological conditions. The daily removal of supernatent solution of each sample was performed and the solution kept air tight in a separate bottle. The remaining soil was discarded. One milliliter of each solution in a polyethylene tube (0.7×3.5㎝.) was subject to the irradiation with a neutron source of TRIGA MARK Ⅱ at Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute. The neutron flux employed was approximately 10^12n ㎝^-2 sec^-1 with five minutes of irradiation. Five hundred rhamda of the activated solution were counted for activity with the use of a gamma ray spectrometer (256 Channel Analyzer). The activity of Mn was corrected for its half life (2.58 hour). The sole peak responsible for Mn appeared in the pulse hight analyzer with the energy level of 0.822Mev, devoid of any interference by other elements. The counts were computed with reference to the standard curve. The results showed that the daily increase in the amount of soluble manganese in each sample reached a maximum in 6 to 7 days with a sudden increment in two days. The amount at a maximum does not change with time thereafter. There was a marked difference in the amount of of soluble Manganese between two groups of soild. The productive soils yielded as much as 102-380 ppm. against 20-26 ppm. of soluble manganese in the soils of AKOCHI. The former group also indicated graded values of soluble manganese in accordance with their productivity.

        “着迷”类离合词偏误研究

        "Zhaomi" separable words generally use adposition to introduce the related arguments in pragmatic context. Under certain conditions, the adposition can be omitted or appear. Native Chinese speakers are not aware of the usage of this kind of separable words, while foreign students make frequent errors in their use. Based on the interlanguage corpus, this paper makes an all-round investigation and analysis of the errors of foreign students in learning this kind of separable words, and finds that there are some error types such as "single error" and "mixed error". It also points out the causes of the errors from the two aspects of teachers and students.

      • CHEMICAL CHANGES DURING GERMINATION OF SOYBEAN(Ⅰ)

        A paper Chromatographic study on free amino acids and keto acids in the germinated soybean was performed. An unequal distribution of these compounds was noticed in a series of the plant sections. A possible mechanism involved in the seedling plant was discussed. Chemical changes in soybean that occur during its germination were investigated. The paper chromatogram amino acids revealed that the disintegration of cotyledon protein was homogeneous but the distribution of free amino acids is unequal between the sections of the root in a series. The profuse appearance of keto acids in the root demonstrated the active transamination proceeding in the young tissues. Possible relationship of those compounds have been reviewed.

        트립신 저해단백질의 형광측정법

        일차아민과 반응하여 형광활성화합물을 형성하는 fluorescamine을 이용하여 어떤 시료중에 포함된 극미량의 trypsin inhibitor의 함량 또는 그 활성도를 측정하는 형광방법을 기술하였다. 세 가지 두류중실 즉 대두, 녹두 및 팥의 상대적 antitryptic activity 측정을 예로들어 본방법의 분석화학 우수성을 여러 각도에서 검토하였던바, 효소반응속도론적 접근으로 이루어진 본방법은 동일한 접근으로 이루어진 기존의 흡광광도방법과 비교하여 측정강도는 대략 100배이상이였으며 casein과 같은 천연기질을 사용하는 경우에서는 실험과정이 보다 단순하여 빠른 방법으로 판정되었다. A fluorometric method is described which permits the assay of trypsin inhibitor contained in a sample in an extremely small amount, utilizing a novel reagent generally called fluorescamine. The fluorometric assay with an enzyme kinetic approach has been found to be at least 100 times more sensitive than the well-known Kunitz's spectrophotometric method, considerably taster and less complicated, when it was demonstrated with the anti tryptic activities of very dilute extracts from soybean, red-bean ana mung bean. Details of experimental procedure as well as theoretical considerations will be discussed.

      • Polychlorinated Biphenyls(PCBs) 존재하에 유기염소계 살충제의 잔류분 분석 1. Florisil Column에 의한 농약과 PCBs의 분리

        Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)는 유기염소계 농약잔류성분의 GLC분석에 간섭하는 물질이다. 본 실험에서는 PCBs의 존재하에 대표적인 유기염소계 농약 및 이들의 주요대사물의 분석을 목저르오 Florisil column상에서 PCBs와 농약성분의 분리를 시도하였다. 활성화한 Florisil column에서 $\alpha-BHC,\; \gamma-BHC$, Heptachlor, epoxide, Dielerin, p.p'-DDD, p.p'-DDT와 Aroclor 1254는 완전히 그리고 정량적으로 분리하여 GLC로 분석할 수 있었다. Heptachlor와 Aldrin은 Aroclor와 함께 elution되나 Chromatogram 상에서 정량이 가능하였다. 본 시험에서 사용한 Florisil column chromatography는 많은 시료를 대상으로 한 잔류농약의 효과적 분석에 사용될 수 있다. Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) interfere with gas chromatographic analysis of multiple organochlorine pesticide residues. In the present work, existing Florisil column chromatographic method has been modified as to improve separation of organochlorine pesticides and their metabolites from PCBs. It was amply demonstrated that separation of $\alpha-BHC,\; \gamma-BHC$ Heptachlor epoxide Dieldrin, p.p-DDD, p.p'-DDT from PCBs such as Aroclor 1254 is complete and recovery of the pesticides is found quantitative. Aldrin and Heptachlor in the Aroclor eluant can be separately analyzed by comparison of the chromatographic pattern of standard Aroclor 1254 with that of Aroclor 1254 a dmixed with the two pesticides. The Florsil column technique can be utilized in the routine evaluation of the organochlorine pesticide residues by gas chromatography.

        Vitamin B_12 contents of a variety of conventional Korean foods were bioassayed employing Euglena gracilis. On the basis of fresh weight animal organs and fremented sea foods are excellent sources of vitamin B_12. Several foods of plant origin were found to be fair sources of the vitamin B_12.
