성폭력의 특성상 그 실태파악은 우리 사회에서 뿐 아니라 외국에서도 제한적으로만 밝혀져 있다.성폭력의 실태 파악은 신고된 성폭력 범죄, 일반인을 대상으로 피해경험을 조사하는 방법과 성폭력상담자료를 분석하는 방법들이 있다.성폭력범죄는 신고율이 매우 낮기 때문에 성폭력의 실태를 파악하는데 어려움이 있으며, 일반인을 대상으로 한 조사연구는 피해실태를 파악하기는 유용하지만 비용이 많이 든다는 제한점이 있다.이런 상황에서 성폭력 상담 자료는 비용이 적게 들면서도 매우 유용한 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있다는 장점이 있다.그러나 현재 국내 성폭력상담소의 상담통계는 대체적으로 수작업에 의해 이루어지고 있어서, 상담소들 간의 상담 통계를 종합할 수 있는 방법이 거의 없다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 본 연구는 여성연합단체에 소속된 상담소들의 성폭력상담을 분석하여 성폭력의 실태를 파악하고 이를 토대로 상담의 방향을 정립하는데 있다.본 연구에서는 성폭력상당의 실태를 파악하는데 기초자료인 인테이크 서식을 분석하였으며, 각 상담소의 서식이 서로 상이하므로 이를 취합하여 공통이 되는 항목들을 선별하였다.또한 인테이크 서식이 전화상담을 통하여 이루어지고 있으며 전화상담의 특성상 내담자에게 질문항목이 있더라도 상담의 흐름상 무응답의 비율이 높은 점을 극복하기 위하여 상담일지의 내용에서 부족한 부분을 보충하는 방법을 택하였다. 이와같이 본 연구에서는 인테이크 서식뿐 아니라 상담일지에 기재된 내용을 보안하는 방법을 사용하였으나, 이는 사실상 시간을 요하는 비효율적인 방법이라 하겠다.앞으로 성폭력상담소들이 급변하는 사회적 여건에서 생존하기 위해서는 상담자료의 통일을 위한 노력이 필수적으로 요청된다고 하겠다.각 상담소의 서식을 통일하지는 않더라도 기본 사항에 대한 합의를 해 나갈 필요는 있다고 하겠다.이런 통일된 상담통계는 성폭력상담의 실태를 종합적으로 파악하고 앞으로의 정책방향을 수립하는데 유용하다고 하겠다.

결손가정 청소년과 일반가정 청소년의 사회적 지지망 비교 연구

In the contemporary society, social support network tends to be more family-oriented than before and consequently, social ties with relatives, friends, and neighborhood are likely to be weakening. Due to divorce, separation, abandonment and temporary absence, the number of broken families are rapidly increasing. Under the family-oriented social support network, the impact of loss of a parent or two parents is likely to be great. In this context, the purposes of this study are to identify how loss of a parent(s) has affected the youths of broken families and to seek for a social-support-network intervention on broken families and their children. For these purposes, this study has conducted a survey on social-support network for youths of broken families and of intact families. In chapter 2, literatures on social support network, first of all, have been reviewed to examine their conceptualization and characteristics. And the studies on social support have been approached through conceptualization and effects. Secondly, the development of social support network from infancy through adolescence has been reviewed. In chapter 3, socio demographic characteristics and social support networks of youths of broken families and of intact families have been comparatively analyzed. The average total network size for youths of broken families was 6.1 which was smaller than those for intact families(8.3). Howeven, although the former had smaller family network size, they tented to have relative and neighborhood network size. The youths of broken families also had smaller friend network size. In terms of social support, instrumental support was highest for youths of both types of families which was followed by emotional support and informational support. The critical degree of social support network of broken-family-youths was about twice as that of intact-family-youths. Also, youths of broken families were more likely to recognize that direction of help from network members toward them. This tendency may reflect the fact that the youths of broken families no longer take social support for granted. The relationship between broken-family-youths and their network members, in terms of intimacy, frequency of contact, the period of being known, showed vulnerability compared to that of intact-family youths. In chapter 4, social support network intervention for the youths of broken family has been designed on the basis of intervention theory. The intervention is divided into personal and family intervention strategy, group intervention strategy and community intervention strategy on the basis of social work methodology. Social support network intervention consists of formal support network and informal support network. The former is more appropriate in solving poverty, housing and medical care problems, while the latter is better in dealing with daily social services. The linkage of formal and informal support networks based on their characteristics are highly recommended.

성폭력위기센터의 역사적 발전과정과 다학문분야간의 관계에 관한 연구

초록성폭력위기센터의 역사적 발전과정에 관한 일 고찰은 성폭력 위기센터의 페미니스트 기원과 미국과 영국의 성폭력 위기센터의 발전과정, 성폭력 위기센터의 제도적 변화노력에 따른 사법, 의료 및 사회복지 분야의 변화 등을 살펴보고 오늘날 미국과 영국의 성폭력 위기센터의 위치와 문제점을 살펴보았다.성폭력 위기센터의 페미니스트 기원을 사례를 통하여 살펴보았다. 여기에서는 전형적 페미니스트 모델에 의한 성폭력위기전화인 LACAAW의 형성과정을 살펴보고, 페미니스트 모델의 성폭력위기센터의 특성 등을 살펴보았다. 성폭력위기센터의 역사적 전개과정에서는 미국과 영국에서 성폭력위기센터의 발전과정을 개략적으로 살펴보았다.다음으로 성폭력위기센터의 사회변화를 위한 도전과 이에 대한 각 전문분야의 대응을 살펴보았다. 여기에서는 사법체계, 의료 및 정신의료분야, 그리고 사회복지분야가 다루어졌다. 특히 사회복지분야는 다른 전문분야와는 달리 초창기부터 성폭력위기센터의 변화목표가 아니라, 동반자적 관계에 있었다. 여기에서는 사회복지서비스모델에 의한 성폭력위기전화의 두가지 유형을 살펴보았다.마지막으로 오늘날 미국과 영국의 성폭력위기센터의 위치와 문제점을 규명해 보았다.
