밑면이 가열되는 수평 다공성 매질층에서의 열적 불안정성 해석

초기 정지상태의 유체로 포화되어 있는 수평 다공성 매길층의 하부면을 일정시간 비율로 등가속 가열을 할 때 자연대류의 유발조건을, 전파이론을 통해 예측하였다. Deep-pool계에 대하여 기본온도는 적분법으로 모사하고, 시간에 따른 교란의 변화를 고려한 전파이론을 통해 새로운 안정성 방정식을 유도하였다. 투과도가 상당히 작은 다공성 매질층에 Prandtl 수가 큰 유체가 포화되어 있는 경우, 자연대류 임계조건을 구하여 아래와 같은 상관식을 도출하였다. τ_c=6.55γ^(4/3)Ra^(-2/3) a_c=0.41γ^(-2/3)Ra^(1/3) 이를 Kaviany의 실험치들과 비교하여 볼 때, 발생되는 자연대류는 4τ_c에 감지될 정도로 증폭되는 것으로 나타났다. When an initially quiescent, fluid-saturated horizontal porous layer is heated by ramp-heating the botlom side of the layer at a constant temporal rate, the critical condition of the onset of natural convection is analyzed by employing the propagation theory. For deep-pool systems the base temperature profile is approximated by using the integral method and a new stability equation is generated through the propagation theory which considers the variations of disturbance with time. For infinite Prandtl-number fluids saturated in a porous layer to satisfy Darcy's law, the critical condition is deduced to have the following relation: τ_c=6.55γ^(4/3)Ra^(-2/3) a_c=0.41γ^(-2/3)Ra^(1/3) In comparison of the above prediction with the experimental data of Kaviany, it is seen that the initiated convection is amplified to observable magnitude at the time 4τ_c.

XML 저장관리시스템 설계 및 구현

본 논문에서는 대용량의 XML 문서를 효과적으로 저장, 관리 및 구조 기반 검색이 가능한 XML 저장관리시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. XML 저장괸리시스템은 질의 처리기 및 검색결과생성기, XML 객체관리자, XML 인덱스관리자, 구조검색엔진 등으로 구성된다. 이를 통하여 내용검색과 애트리뷰트 검색 그리고 다양한 구조 정보검색을 효율적으로 지원한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 XML 저장괸리시스템은 내용검색을 위해 BRS 검색엔진을 사용하고 데이터베이스로는 ORACLE을 사용한다. In this paper, we design and implement an XML repository system that manages XML documents and supports their structure information retrieval. It consists of a query processor, a retrieval result generator, an XML object manager, an XML index manager, and a structure retrieval engine. The implemented XML repository system can efficiently support content retrieval, attribute retrieval and various structure retrievals. We use BRS retrieval engine and ORACLE DBMS for content retrieval and to store XML documents, respectively.

효과적인 문헌 정보 관리를 위한 데이타언어와 질의처리기

데이터관리시스템은 문헌 정보들에 대한 정보 검색 및 관리를 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 시스템이다. 이러한 데이터 관리시스템은 하나의 테이블만으로 정보들을 관리하기 때문에 기존 데이터베이스 관리시스템에서 사용되는 조인 연산과 뷰 연산 등 많은 비용이 소요되는 연산을 제공할 필요가 없다. 본 논문은 데이터관리시스템에서 자료의 주고 정의, 처리 등을표현할 수 있는 효과적인 데이터 언어를 정의하고, 정의된 데이터 언어로 작성된 질의를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 질의 처리기를 설계하고 구현한다. 구현된 데이터관리시스템을 위한 질의처리기는 기존 관계형 데이터 베이스 관리시스템의 질의처리기를 데이터관리시스템의 질의처리기로 사용할 때 나타나는 성능저하 문제점을 해결한다. Data management System(DMS) is a system that retrieves and manages documents efficiently. Since DMS manages the information using only one table, it does not need to provide join and view operations on DBMS that spend high cost. In this paper we define a data language that represents the structure definition and process of data in the DMS. We also design and implement a query processor to process the query processors of relational DBMS are used as a query processor of DMS, they degrade the whole system performance. The proposed query processor overcomes such a problem.

YAZ를 이용한 Z39.50 서버의 설계 및 구현

전자도서관을 개발하는데 있어서 많은 핵심 기술들 중 하나가 바로 정보검색 프로토콜인 Z39.50이다. Z39.50 프로토콜은 시스템마다 다른 환경의 차이에서 생긴 정보검색상의 불편함을 해소하기 위해 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 H/W 플랫폼 상에서 응용들간의 상호 운용성을 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 Z39.50 주요 서비스들의 인터페이스를 설계하고 구한다. 또한 사용 검색엔진인 Verity와 연동하여 하나의 완전한 정보검색 시스템을 구축한다. Information retrieval protocol Z39.50 is one of the most important technologies for digital libraries. Z39.50 protocol was presented in order to solve information retrieval protocol in the heterogeneous systems. In this paper we design and implement interfaces of Z39.50 main services that support effectively interoperability among applications on the heterogeneous H/W platform. Also we construct a complete information retrieval system by integrating the Z39.50 server and Verity search engine.

CORBA 기반 Z39.50 서버와 데이터베이스엔진 통합

본 논문에서는 분산 객체 표준 기술이 CORBA를 이용하여 Z39.50 서버와 데이터베이스 엔진들을 통합한다. 이와같이 구현된 Z39.50 서버는 서버처리 부담을 줄일 뿐만 아니라 구현 객체에 대한 위치 투명성을 제공함으로써 다양한 데이터베이스 엔진모듈과의 통합이 가능하게 하여 시스템 확장에 있어 많은 편리함을 제공한다. 또한 데이터베이스 엔진 모듈 부분을 그대로 재사용할 수 있어 자원효율을 높일 수 있는 장점이 있다. In this paper we integrate a Z39.50 server and various database engines using distributed object standard technology called CORBA. The Z39.50 server that supports various database engines based on CORBA not only decreases server process overhead but also provides the location transparency for the implementation object. The Z39.50 server based on CORBA is more flexible in the system extension than existing Z39.50 servers. Since it also can use the database engine module without its modification, it increases resource reusability.

Design of Learning Courses of Sorting Algorithms using LAMS

The development of communication technology and the spread of computers and internet have affected to the field of education. In this paper, we design a learning process with LAMS to make the new education environment which is required in an information age. We made the learning environment with LAMS which develops the learner’s algorithmic thinking faculty on some sorting algorithm, especially such as selection sort, bubble sort and insertion sort algorithm. In addition, we analyse the effectiveness of the learning environment. The designed contents were applied to elementary school students’ learning and a questionnaire survey was conducted after a learning course. The research of the questionnaire shows that the learning system using LAMS motivates a learner for learning and provides a convenient learning environment.

블롭 데이터 지원을 위한 WISS 기반의 저장 시스템에 관한 연구

EDS 서비스 향상을 위한 통상명 자동 반영 기법

현행 EDS 시스템의 사호 전화 안내 서비스 시스템은 다수의 상호 가입자 출력, 신조어 반영등과 같은 문제점을 갖고 있어 검색 효율이 현저하게 떨어진다. 본 논문에서는 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 사용자 질의어 로그 파일로부터 새로운 신조어 및 통상명을 찾아 유사어 사전에 자동 반영할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 EDS사용자들의 상호 전화 안내 서비스 효율을 향상시킨다. A phone guidance service on firm names of a current EDS system significantly degrades retrieval effectiveness. The reason is that it has the problems such as multiple outputs of firm name subscribers, reflection of new words and so on. In this paper, we propose an automatic reflection method that adds new words and generally called words into a synonym dictionary. The words is obtained from a log file with user queries by using a data mining scheme. As a result, the proposed method significantly improves the effectiveness of a phone guidance service on firm names for EDS users.
