大學 敎養體育의 運營 實態 및 學生들의 意識에 關한 調査 硏究
The purpose of the research is to study and analyze the status of operation situation or status of the physical education which is being operated in each universities, and to produce a basic data necessary for improvement of institution or program of the physical education through analyzing general opinions on the physical education. The objects of the research were 31 universities with 4 year period across the country. We analyzed the operation status by referring to the curriculums of those universities, and the object of the consciousness research of students on the physical education was 700 students of 6 universities located at the Metropolitan area and Kangwon province. The finaly selected numbers were 621 in total including 274 in required liberal subjects, 347 in optional liberal subjects etc. Following is the result of the reseach and analysis of the whole process. 1. The operation status of each universities across the country can be classified into required liberal field and optional liberal field. And among the objects all the universities except 2 were adopting optional libenil field. Besides, among optional required field, ones related to art and physical art are the largest part, it causes that physical education is regarded as a part of art and the uniqueness of physical education is disappearing. 2. In the survey on the recognition about physical activities, 77.6% of students had a positive opinion on the necessity of physical activities and they also answered that the group of optional field is more necessary than the group of required field. Only 20% of the whole students were less interested in participating physical activities by joining more 3 times a week, however, 78.4% agreed to the necessity of liberal physical subject. 3. When it comes to the satisfaction of students about he physical education class, 28.0% were not satisfied and indicated the urgent need of a proper step about it, and suggested proper number of students in a physical education class is less than 20 mostly. Theoretic subject that students wants to take most is the basic theory on the practical education, and the most desired practical subject was bowling. 4. It has proven that a proper mark and time of physical education has suggested as 2 marks and 2 hours each by students. The interest in physical education class has been proven to be high, and the attitude of students to be active. 5. About the facilities of physical education, more than half of the students were unsatisfied, so it requires an improvement of the facilities, and the priority that has been suggested was indoor gymnasium.
