Evaluation of the Single-Dose Toxicity of TA Pharmacopuncture in Rats

Objectives: TA is a polyherbal extract comprising seven herbs, typically used for the pharmacopuncture treatment of patients with traffic accident- related injuries and musculoskeletal diseases. This animal study was conducted to evaluate the safety of the TA extract, using a single-dose toxicity test. Methods: The dose range and sampling time were first established. Six- week-old Sprague–Dawley rats were administered 1.0 mL of TA or normal saline (control), intramuscularly, for the single-dose toxicity test. The general condition, mortality, and histology of all rats were observed for 2 weeks. Results: No abnormal symptoms or deaths were observed in any group. The body weights of the rats in the TA and control groups were similar. No significant differenc-es in histopathology were observed between the groups. Conclusion : Our study indicates that 1.0 mL of TA extract may be safely administered for pharmacopuncture for treatment of patients in traditional medicine clinics.

L-thyroxine으로 유발된 갑상선기능항진증 랫트에서 MOK 약침의 Th1/Th2 사이토카인 조절에 의한 면역조절 효과

Objectives : This study was performed to investigate immune regulatory effects of the pharmacopuncture with MOK on hyperthyroid rats. Methods : The experimental hyperthyroidism was prepared by the intraperitoneal injection of L-thyroxine(LT4, 0.5 mg/kg) once daily for 2 weeks in Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats. The pharmacopuncture with MOK extract(MOK pharmacopuncture) at doses of 0.3 or 3 mg/kg was injected on acupuncture points in the thyroid glands of hyperthyroid rats once a day for 2 weeks. Propylthiouracil(PTU, 10 mg/kg) as a reference group was subcutaneously injected into the dorsal neck. We measured the levels of $IFN-{\gamma}$ and IL-4 in the sera of rats using enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay(ELISA) and determined the expression of $IFN-{\gamma}$, IL-4, IL-10, and Foxp3 in spleen tissues by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). Results : The treatment of MOK pharmacopuncture in hyperthyroid rats significantly decreased the serum levels of Th1 cytokine, $IFN-{\gamma}$(p<0.01 for MOK 0.3 mg/kg, p<0.05 for MOK 3 mg/kg, and p<0.05 for PTU) and significantly increased the levels of Th2 cytokine, IL-4(p<0.05 for MOK 0.3 mg/kg, p<0.001 for MOK 3 mg/kg, and p<0.05 for PTU) compared to control group. Also, the MOK pharmacopuncture significantly increased IL-4 expression(p<0.05 for MOK 3 mg/kg, and p<0.05 for PTU), IL-10(p<0.05 for MOK 3 mg/kg, and p<0.01 for PTU), and Foxp3(p<0.01 for MOK 0.3 mg/kg, p<0.05 for MOK 3 mg/kg and p<0.01 for PTU) in spleen tissues of hyperthyroid rats compared to control group. Conclusions : Our results suggest that MOK pharmacopuncture can help to ameliorate the pathological progression of hyperthyroidism by regulation of the Th1/Th2 imbalance.

지역사회 지속 거주를 위한 노인가구의 주택개조 실태와 개선 요구 - 2020년 주거실태조사를 중심으로 -

This study aims to provide implications as basic data for seeking spatial alternatives for sustainable home-based elderly housing in the community and establishing policies by identifying the reality of housing modification and improvement needs of older adults households. The analysis data used the micro-data of Korea housing survey 2020, and the older adults household owners aged 65 or older who responded that they had experience in housing modification were targeted. As a result, older adults households of 'female and 'over 85 years of age' were found to be the most in need of support as both the awareness and use rate of home modification installation and housing support programs were lower than others. As the age increases, the proportion of home modification experience grows. Depending on whether or not there was a disability, older adults households with disabilities had a higher rate of home modification experience, but among them, 'non-registered disabled' households. Most of the home modification items were repaired in the kitchen and toilet- related facilities, 'lever-type faucet (faucet)', and 'a kitchen workbench of appropriate height' was the highest in order. On the other hand, 'emergency bells in the house' and 'auxiliary chair on the porch' showed the lowest rate. The necessary home modification was 'safe flooring for anti- slip', 'a toilet or bathroom support handles', 'emergency bells in the house', and 'removal of steps such as thresholds and stairs in the house' were higher than others. 'Male' older adults households were more aware of the housing support program than 'female' older adults. Even though home modification was the preferred program, it showed a low utilization rate. 본 연구는 노인가구의 주거수정 및 개선요구 실태를 파악하여 지역사회에서 지속가능한 주거기반 노인주거의 공간적 대안을 모색하고 정책 수립을 위한 기초자료로서 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 분석자료는 주거실태조사 2020의 마이크로데이터를 활용하였으며, 주택개조 경험이 있는 65세 이상의 고령자 가구를 대상으로 하였다. 그 결과 '여성', '85세 이상'의 노인가구는 주택개조 요구가 높았으나 실제 주택개조 설치 및 주거지원 프로그램에 대한 인식과 이용률이 모두 낮았다. 장애가 있고 연령이 높아질수록, 노인가구의 주택 개조 경험률이 높았졌으며 그중 '비등록 장애인' 노인가구가 가장 많았다. 주택개조 항목은 대부분 주방 및 화장실 설비와 관련된 것으로 '레버형 수전(수도꼭지)', '적절한 높이의 부엌 작업대' 순으로 높게 나타났다. 반면 '주택 내 응급 비상벨'과 '현관에 보조의자 설치'는 가장 낮은 비율을 보였다. 필요하다고 느끼는 주택개조 항목은 '미끄러짐 방지를 위한 안전한 바닥재', '화장실이나 욕실 지지대 손잡이', '주택 내 응급 비상벨', '문턱, 주택 내 계단 등 단차 제거' 등이 높게 나타났다. 주거지원 프로그램에 대하여 '남성' 노인 가구가 '여성' 노인 가구보다 인지도가 높았고, 주택개량·개보수 지원은 노인가구가 선호하는 프로그램이었으나 이용률은 낮았다.

An effective internal marketing has a positive impact on customer satisfaction which creates a positive influence on the company result. The purpose of this study was examine the impact of internal marketing on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of airline cabin crews. Thus, this study explores how the internal marketing of K airlines affects the job satisfaction of the cabin crews and the organizational commitment. Survey was conducted on the K airlines works in korea. To achieve the objectives, the total of 400 surveys were distributed to the K airlines' cabin crew and 346 valid surveys were extracted, and the survey was conducted from November 9, 2021 to November 15, 2021. According to the analysis results, the relationship between variables of internal marketing and job satisfaction and the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment are the imperative and crucial elements of the internal marketing among the cabin crews. First, Factors of airline internal marketing such as empowerment and benefit package are found to enhance the affective job satisfaction except internal communication and education and training. Second, Factors of airline internal marketing such as education and training and benefit package have an effect on organizational commitment except internal communication and empowerment. Third, As job satisfaction becomes stronger, the greater organizational commitment. In the further study, the subjects of survey will expand to the another airlines such as A airlines, LCC(Low Cost Carrier) airlines and foreign airlines for the more effective human resource management of airline staffs.
