The present study was undertaken in order to investigate effect of ethanol extract of Rehmanniae radix(RREE) on electrophysiology of sinus node and papillary muscle. Rehmanniae radix is a herbal medicine which has been known to have diuretic, antipyretic, hemopoietic and cardiotonic effects. Action potentials were recorded by means of glass capillary microelectrode(technique) in rabbit sinoatrial nodal cells and papillary muscle cells which were superperfused with either tyrode solution or tyrode solutions containing different amount of RREE. The results obtained were as follows ; 1) In both central and peripheral nodal cells maximum diastolic potential (MDP) and amplitude of action potential (APA) were not affected by RREE. 2) Action potential duration as expressed APD<sub>60</sub>(time to 60% repolarization) of central and peripheral pacemaker cells were significantly prolonged following perfusion with tyrode solution containing 0.1% RREE. 3) The rates of spontaneous firing from central pecemaker cell were decreased by RREE at concentration of 0.05% and 0. 1% while spontaneous rhythm of perinodal cell was decreased by 0.1% RREE. 4) The action potential duration of papillary muscle as expressed APD<sub>60</sub> were prolonged by 0.1% RREE.
Female Precocious puberty를 동반한 난소과립막 세포종의 1예

A case of ovarian granulosa cell tumor as cause of female precocious puberty is reported with the brief review of literature. This case of 9 years old girl was admitted to our clinic because of irregular periodic genital bleeding, palpable mass and pain in lower abdomen, and premature appearance of secondary sex characters, such as hypertrophy of breasts, the appearance of axillary and pubic hair, puberal enlargement of the external genitalia, and also hypertrophy of uterus. The laparatomy and histopathologic studies revealed a child head sized, ovoid, hemorrhagic, necrotic, encapsulated, and firm right ovarian granulosa cell tumor weighing 610gm. After removal of tumor, signs of precocious puberty disappeared in about a month.

Effects of taurine and histamine on the electrophysiological characteristics of the rabbit sinus node cells were investigated by a conventional microelectrode technique. Also studied was the effect of taurine on histamine-induced changes in the action potential of the pacemaker cells, as well as on histamine-induced arrhythmias. When the sinus node cells were exposed to histamine the overshoot potential, consequently action potential was decreased, action potential duration was shortened and the rate of spontaneous firing increased markedly. Effect of histamine on the cellular potential peaked between 5 to 10 minutes after superfusion of the cardiac pacemaker cells. On the other hand, taurine (0.01-0.5%) did not affect the transmembrane potential of the rabbit sinus node cells. After pretreatment of the cardiac pacemaker cells with taurine, effect of histamine on the action potential amplitude was depressed prominently whereas action potential duration was not altered by histamine. Histamine-induced tachycardia or dysrhythmia were significantly supressed in 1-2 hours following superfusion of the sinus node cells with taurine solution. The possible mechanism underlying antiarrhythmic action of taurine on histamineinduced arrhythmia was discussed. It is concluded that taurine has a protective action against adverse effects of histamine on the cardiac pacemaker cells of the rabbit heart.
미분화배세포종의 3례 ( Dysgerminoma of Ovary

1. Report was made on three cases of dysgerminoma of the ovary in Korean females that were observed at the department of obstetrics and gynecology, Presbyterian Hospital, Taegu, Korea, during the period through August, 1963, to April, 1968. 2. The age incidence range from 32 to 41:32 and 38 years of age with a parity of 2 and 6 respectively, 41years of age with primary infertility. 3. No specific clinical features which would lead to the preoperative diagnosis of dysgerm- inoma of the ovary were obtained by reviewing of any cases. 4. There was no evidence of any endocrine activity, hermaphroditism, pregnancy, ascites, and pleural effusion in any of 3 cases. 5. The diagnosis of dysgerminoma can not be gross inspection of tumor or from the frozen section; microscopic examination of stainde of laboratory prepartion is neccessary. 6. There was no combined with other condition such as teratoma and choriocarcinoma in any of the 3 cases. But one them was associated with uterine myoma and bilateral hydrosal- pinx. 7. The tumor involvement was unilateral in 2 cases and bilateral in 1 case. 8. Wwll encapsulation and adult fist in size was in 2 cases of unilateral involvement and in 1 case of bilateral involvement, left tumor was child size and bad pedicae torsion with rupture of capsule 1cm in length, and Rt. one wall nut in size. 9. First case of this reports is definitely dysgerminoma which is confirmed by Dr. Novak of Johns Hopkins Hospital. 10. Follow up studies revealed: Case I & II: no recurrence for long as 1 month to 5 years after operation. Case III: died 6 montha after operaton.

Plancenta accreta is a very uncommon condition. Placenta increta and percreta are especially rare but serious in Obstetric fields. Three cases of adherent or invasive placentae, 1 accreta, 1 increta, and 1 percreta are presented. And a review of the literature is made.

Robot-assisted the multi nozzle device and Nozzle less (free liquid surface) technology development are the innovative ways for the produce nano fiber. However those studies which use angled multi nozzle and electric field were not performed at all. Therefore, we developed new electro-spinning system that can move the position of the angled nozzle. And we compared simulation result and experimental results regarding the electric field between the nozzle and collector tips. Finally, interference of the electric field is the largest when the nozzle angles is 90°. And even if the robot is move between the nozzle and the collector the direction of the electric field was maintain steady state. Also, the results of experiment which measuring the change of the electric field in electro-spinning system by applying the noise filter were obtained similar results.
