In 1970, the fourth year of the Second Five-year Economic Development Plan, MAFEZ, (Masan Free Export Zone,) was established as a policy measure of the export-led economic development policies in 1970's. The establishment of MAFEZ was suggested as one of the measures to resolve the major problems which Korean Economy faced in the later 1960's, such as underemployment, current deficit in Balance of Payments, lack of capital accumulation and underdevelopment of technology. In this paper an attempt is made at the appraisal of the economic contributions MAFEZ made to the local economy concerned since its establishment, The empirical survey performed in terms of statistical data published during last 13 years about MAFEZ and the rigion concerned results in the general conclusion that its contributions to the local economy have largely been positive. In detail; (1) the absorption of labour power in the local society-about 30,000 men a year, (2) expansion of exportation and introduction of Korean-made export-goods, especialy electronic products, to 50 odd countries of the world, (3) expansion of local economy through the effective demands demands derived from the effects (1) and (2) mentioned above (4) spill-over of the exported technology beyond MAFEZ, (5) increase of employment effected outside MAFEZ by the suppliers of MAFEZ-demanded materials, (6) the so-called Backward Linkage Effect that resulted in the increased ratio of domestically-produced materials used in export-goods and thus the increased ratio of net foreign exchange gains to the value of export-goods, and (7) extra-economic contributions as to many scholarship finances, to national defense fund and to funds for ill-fortuned neighboughs.

이 논문은 시민들의 정치신뢰 수준에 미치는 당파성 효과를 분석한다. 선거 승리집단(집권당, 현직 대통령과 그 지지자)에 속한 시민일수록 선거결과 구성된 정부 및 정치제도를 관장하는 리더들이 그들의 요구와 이익을 잘 반영하고 반응한다고 생각하게 되고 정치신뢰의 수준이 높아질 것이라는 이론적 주장을 제시하고 이에 대한 경험적 분석결과를 제시한다. 2015년 에 대한 분석결과는 집권당을 지지하는 당파성이 높은 신뢰수준으로 연결되고, 반대로 야당을 지지하는 당파성이 정치제도에 대한 낮은 정도의 신뢰로 이어진다는 점을 보여준다. 그런데 당파성과 정치신뢰의 관계는 상대적으로 진보적인 정당이 집권하고 있던 시기인 2003년 여론조사 분석에서는 나타나지 않는다. 집권당이 보수정당인가 아니면 상대적으로 진보적인 정당인가의 차이가 당파성과 신뢰의 관계를 다르게 나타나는 것으로 이어진 것이다. 이 논문은 신뢰가 상당 부분 정치적으로 결정(political conditioning of trust)된다는 점을 제시한다. 또한 이 논문의 분석결과는 한국사회에서 신뢰의 양극화(polarization)가 진행되어 왔는데, 이를 추동한 것은 보수층과 보수정당 지지층의 신뢰가 상당부분 정치적으로 결정되었기 때문이라는 점을 제시한다.

To improve friction coefficient and straightness of rice transplanter this study was conducted. The newly float model of rice transplanter was designed with stream line in front part, straight in center part, flat curve in rear part. Important conclusions to emerge from this study are; 1. The newly developed float model significantly shows the less value of draft and friction coefficient than those of existing float model. There was no difference between those values of two models with the increase of travelling speed. 2. From the computer simulation results, which was conducted to predict the influences of mass center movements of float and main body on draft of rice transplanter, in case of travelling with equal speed, the minimum draft was occurred when the mass center of float was fixed at 10 ㎝from wheel center and that of main body was moved to forward as 18 ㎝ from wheel center. 3. The straightness of float was increased with increasing in travelling speed for both models. The conventional model, however, shows good straightness with low speed of float.

In order to carry out this work, the second section review the Korean level of technological progress, industrial labor force, technological indicators, and investment in R & D for development. The third section discuss the policies for adapt ion and transmission mechanisms of technology. And also explain the know-how, lease system, and some criteria for choice of tehnology. The fourth section examines the way to development of technology, and the last section suggest alternative industrial technology policies in Korea.

This study was conducted to suggest the mechanization strategy for rice direct seeding cultivation through reviewing the current rice cultivation status and its problem. The rice direct seeding cultivation can contribute to reduce production cost as well as to enhance the mechanization technology and related machine development. The objects and directions for rice direct seeding cultivation strategy, reviewed in this study, could be summarized as follows : 1. The breeding status for direct seeding cultivation is less uniform than transplanting cultivation, especially in large scale farming area. So, precision farming techniques for the operations such as seeding, fertilizing, water control etc., and proper farm machinery utilization system suitable for large scale farming area should be identified and introduced. 2. In order to get the effect of direct seeding cultivation such as reduction in production cost and save labor requirement, the following seeding machines should be developed and used in direct seeding cultivation, i.e. no or partial plowing machine, direct seeder for dry field, and direct seeder for wet field, which can be used for simultaneous operation of seeding, fertilizing, and weeding. 3. Governmental & private organizations concerned with agriculture and farm machinery should agree positively with the direct seeding cultivation policy. 4. It is urgent that development of precision farming technology and its mechanization suitable for korean field conditions with the assistance of information technology such as GPS and GIS.

In this paper, a concept of an integrated elastomer substrate for a three-dimensional (3D) liquid crystal display based on the integral-imaging method is presented. The elemental lens array and columnar spacers were integrated into one of the two substrates, an elastomer substrate, through an imprinting process. The integrated elastomer substrate was capable of maintaining the uniform liquid crystal (LC) cell gap and promoting homeotropic LC alignment without any surface treatment. The monolithic approach reported herein will provide a key component for 3D displays with enhanced portability through a more than 40% weight reduction compared with the conventional integral-imaging method.
