공간의 연출을 위한 화예디자인 연구 : 호텔로비 공간을 중심으로

ABSTRACT A Study on Floral Design for Space Display - With Priority Given to Hotel Lobby - Sung Kyun Kwan University Design Graduate School Major. Environmental Design Hong Bang Eum Floral design has become a part branch of the design field since. it became a design field of study in Sook myung- Women's University in Korea. However, where Floral design exactly fits in the field of design has not been clarified because its concept is still vague. Floral design should be part of the environmental design and role and function should be defined clearly. In other worlds, it's a matter of the position of its field. On the other hand, a social phenomenon of post-modernism. which some philosophers refer to as 'death of the subject'. radically criticizes the individual value and the authority of the nation. it has also affected various fields such as theology, history, economics, and politics. Society has been dematerialized, decentralized, and reciprocated: at the same time the environmental design has become ① the space of expanded transparency, ② the space of temporaries, ③ the space of surface, ④ the space of variability, and ⑤ the space of multi-center Social background and spatial character should be clarified. The specific place a hotel lobby, was used for this study to clarify the role and function of floral design. The hotel lobby was chosen because it serves as intermediary between the city and the interior of the hotel, and accommodates the flow of the customers. Also the lobby represents the image of the hotel and it contains the culture of the region as the public place. The form of the lobby was divided into three spaces: ① a central open space ② a void hall space, and ③ a combination of both. According to the from of the lobby the floral design was divided into ①perspective, ② location, ③ distance, ④ size, and ⑤ form. This thesis is to clearly categorize the study of floral design by clarifying its position in the design category and its role and function of the floral design as the branch of the environmental design. 한국의 화예디자인은 1997년 이후부터 숙명여자대학교 디자인대학원 화예디자인 전공이 개설되면서 화예디자인이 학문적 영역으로 발돋움하면서부터 디자인의 한 분야로 자리 잡고 있다. 그러나 화예디자인 개념의 모호함으로 인하여 뚜렷한 영역과 범주를 밝히지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 화예디자인을 공간디자인의 한 부분으로서 편성시킴과 동시에 역할과 기능을 보다 명확히 밝힐 필요가 있다. 한편으로 현 사회적 배경이라 할 수 있는 포스트 모더니즘적 사회 현상은 몇몇 철학자들이 흔히 '주체의 죽음'으로 일컫는 현상으로 장소의 고정성과 개인이나 국가 역사에서의 권위나 가치의 확실성에 대한 급진적인 비판을 의미한다. 또한 과거의 거대 이론을 붕괴로 몰고와 신학과 역사학, 경제학, 정치학 등 각 분야에 거대한 파장을 일으키고 있다. 이로 인하여 사회는 비물질화, 탈중심화, 상호작용화 되어가고, 이에 공간디자인도 ①확장적 투명성의 공간, ②일시성의 공간, ③표피의 공간, ④가변성의 공간, ⑤다중심적 공간으로 변해가고 있다는 공간디자인에 있어서의 현대사회의 배경과 공간의 특성을 밝힐 필요가 있다. 이 두 가지 논제를 본 연구는 화예디자인의 역할과 기능을 보다 명확히 밝히기 위해 호텔로비라는 특정 공간을 연구 범위로 설정하였다. 연구 범위를 호텔로비로 한 이유는, 호텔 로비가 도시공간과 호텔내부공간과의 중간적 영역이며, 호텔 이용객의 흐름을 원활하게 유도하고, 그 호텔의 전체적인 인상을 결정해 주는 공간이자, 퍼블릭 공간으로서 사회성을 가장 잘 알려주고 있으며 그 지역의 문화를 담고 있는 공간이기 때문이다. 따라서 화예디자인은 호텔로비라는 공간을 삼차원적인 이동에 따른 정보로 변용 가능한 디자인으로서 화예 디자이너는 공간에 의도를 부여, 공간연출을 결정해야함을 알 수 있었다. 호텔의 로비 구조에 따른 효율성의 자료분석의 결과로, 중앙광장식은 방사형, 보이드형 홀식은 고정형, 절충식은 중립형이 효과적임을 결론지을 수 있었다. 이러한 분석결과를 근거로 화예디자인의 하나의 방향을 작품의 사례를 통하여 예시하였다. 따라서 우리자연에서 받을 수 있는 따뜻하고 편안함을 주며 환경적 조건에서 생활에 편리함을 위한 기능적조건, 안락한 정서적 조건 등을 모두 만족해야 하는 데 호텔로비에서 공간을 심리적인 측면에서 편안함은 줄 수 있는 공간의 연구가 가능하였다.
