“이기일물론”과 “이기지묘설”-정암(整庵)과 율곡(栗谷)의 이기론 비교

여말선초로 부터 수입되기 시작한 주자학은 이황 이이등 학자들의 창조성적인 전환(轉換)으로 한국에서 새로운 발전과 생명을 얻게 되였다. 특히 조선조 성리학은 논리적 정밀성(精微性)과 성정(性情)논의 심각성(深刻性)으로 동아시아 유학사에서 독특한 위치를 점하고 있다. ‘주자학의 계승자(朱學後勁)’로 불리우는 정암(整庵)은 명나라 주자학의 대표적인 학자이다. 그의 사상은 한국과 일본에 전해진 후 비교적 큰 반향을 일으켰다. 한국의 유학자 이황, 기대승, 한원진, 이현익,이항로등 학자들은 모두 글을 지어 그의 학설에 대하여 비판을 진행하였다. 이에 반해 율곡은 정암을 동시대의 유학자 이황 서경덕과 비교하여 그를 긍정적으로 평가하고 그의 학설을 중시하였음 을 볼 때, 정암의 이기설이 율곡의 이기사상의 형성에 영향을 준 주요이론 중의 하나임을 알 수 있다. 아울러 정암의 ‘이기일물론’과 율곡의 ‘이기지묘설’의 비교를 통하여 16세기 중한 양국에서의 주자학의 부동한 발전 양상을 살펴볼 수 있다. In the Late period of Koryo and the Early period of Korean Dynasty, Zhu Zi`s philosophy was introduced into Korea. Because of the creative inheritance of Yi Hwang, Yi-l and other scholars, Zhu Zi`s phiolosophy was widely spread and aroused new vitality. Korean Neo-Confucianism occupies a unique position in the East Asian Confucianism history for the characteristics of logical elaboration and theoretic profoundity . Zheng An is the representative scholar of Zhu Zi`s philoshophy in Ming Dynasty. His thoughts seemed to have great impact in Korea and Japan. Yi Hwang , Ki Dae-seung , Han Wonjin , Yi Hyeonik, Yihangro and other Korean Confucian scholars all wrote essays to evaluate Zheng An`s theory . Yulgok made a positive evaluation on Zheng An`s thought through the comparision with the theories of Zheng An and Yi Hwang . From Yulgok`s appreciation, it seems clear that Zheng An`s Li Qi theory is one of the main sources of Yulgok`s Li Qi theory. Moreover, through the comparision between the Li Qi theory of the two, we can make out the different development paths of Zhuzi`s philosophy in China and Korea.
