A program that could analyze AHU operation and provide an energy conservation measure is developed. This program makes it easy to understand AHU operation by visualizing it on a psychometric chart. The goal of the program is to propose a method of conserving energy by predicting supply air temperature (SAT) and relative humidity. This program is written in C++, and the prediction is made through an R Program. The program has three screens, and their respective functions are: 1) Operation–View: The AHU operation status can be viewed in real time on the psychometric chart, and historical data for AHU operation can be verified. 2) SAT Prediction–View: The SAT for a 24-hour period can be viewed, and the predicted SAT of the next 12 hours can be displayed as a graph. 3) OAF(Outdoor air fraction) & ECM(Energy Conservation measure)–View: The status of OAF of the past 12 hours and the energy efficient OAF of the next 12 hours is displayed. Through this program, energy conservation during the operational stage can be expected.

Energy consumption of building is very hot topic recently. It becomes more and more important to look for efficient ways of energy consumptoion. It is selected a community center to low energy design. The project uses eQuest, a simulation software tool, for evaluating building energy. First it is evaluated the design to comply with the code, Second the usual design as ALT-1. They are compared the monthly load components and studied what's components affected. Accordingly, the performance of insulation and window system is improvement and photovolatic power generation systems are installed. That is the low energy design as ALT-2. Heating energy consumption is reduced 57%, Cooling energy consumption is reudced 24% through the case study as ALT-2.

The openings for ventilation are very important design factor to make the comfortable and healthy arcade.<br/> The purpose of this study is to analysis airflow rate using tracer gas method in the arcade. To measure airflow rate, we measured the concentration of the tracer with a VOCs analyzer and used the constant injection method. There are three opening ratio of 100%. 50% and 0%, respectively. Except for the opening ratio of 0%, the conventional market model has enough airflow rate. When the ventilating opening in 0%, it would be uncomfortable and unhealthy in the arcade even though there is low airflow rate in the openings between the buildings.

It is very important the day lighting in built environment. It was different the method of daylighting performance in the Housing performance indicator system and the Green Building Certification Criteria. Case studies were evaluated through each program. The results were simply compared and analyzed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of the results in them.
