The purpose of this study is that, by gathering and cultivating test sample, and dividing the using period and the washing method of a makeup brush, and confirming the microbial pollution level, we obtain basic data about the importance of Cosmetic paraphernalia management and the prevention of skin problem which may occur by the microbial pollution. As a result of the experiment, the microbes did not increase with the prolonged using period, but it was confirmed that the microbial colony exceeded or almost reached the microbial allowance standard. In case of the foundation brush, with the prolonged using period, the ordinary germ, yeast increased in a small quantity. Moreover, it was confirmed that, when using with the exclusive brush than washing with the ordinary cleansing product, the number of test sample of microbe and the number of colony of microbe have significantly decreased.

The purpose of my article is to analyze and ascertain the influence that beauty therapy program has an effect on depression and stress of middle-aged women. This paper thus attempts to form a theoretical and empirical basis about beauty therapy program field to deal the problem of depression and stress of middle-aged women who has been come into question in contemporary society. To sum up the results, the group which carry out the beauty therapy saw that the average of depression declined from 24.33 to 10.87 and the average of stress declined from 133.60 to 116.77. In result, it appeared that this program had positive influence on changes of depression and stress of middle-aged women. Most of the women, specially middle-aged women, use the beauty treatments in their daily lives often. If this program is developed and is applied according to this result, most of middle-aged women will be able to participate in beauty therapy program and they will be able to join in therapy easily and happily. Therefore, the development and application of this program will have an important effect on formation of a theoretical and empirical basis and qualitative improvement of middle-aged women`s life.

미용요법이 중년여성의 우울증 및 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of beauty therapy that has effects on depression and self-respect and to verify the effects of beauty therapy. This study aims to provide a theoretical and empirical basis regarding beauty therapy field to deal with the problems of depression and self-respect of middle-aged women that has emerged as severe social problems in Korea. This study analysed the data by deploying SPSS for Windows 12 to test a performance of the Frequency Analysis, Cronbach's alpha reliability test and Factor Analysis, Varimax Rotation, Repeated Anova, Dunnett Test. The results of changes in depression and self-respect before and after the therapy revealed that the average of depression declined from 24.33 to 10.87 and the average of self-respect rose from 23.67 to 32.73. The implications shows that the program has positive influence on changes of depression and self-respect of middle-aged women.

여중고생의 외모관리행동이 자아존중감 및 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 여중고생의 외모관리행동이 자아존중감 및 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다. 충청권 지역의 여중고생 300명을 대상으로 2020년 06월 1일부터 06월 20일까지 자기기입식 설문조사방법으로 실시하였고, 불성실 응답자 37명을 제외한 263명을 최종분석에 사용하였으며 자료 분석 방법은 빈도분석과 요인분석 및 상관관계 분석과 선형회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 외모관리행동은 자아존중감과 심리적 안녕감 차원에 전반적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 자아존중감 또한 심리적 안녕감에 유의미한 영향을 치는 것으로 나타났다. 외모에 대한 관심으로 민감하게 반응하는 여중고생에게 높은 수준의 자아존중감은 심리적 안녕감 형성에 필수로 요구되는 사항으로 외모관리행동을 긍정적인 견해로 바라보고 지도할 필요성이 있다고 사료된다. 추후 전국의 여중고생으로 확대하여 환경 변화에 따른 특성을 고려한 심층적인 연구로 일반화 검토를 제언한다. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of appearance management behavior of middle and high school girls on self-esteem and psychological well-being. 300 middle and high school girls in Chungcheong area were surveyed by self-reportation from June 1 to June 20, 2020, and 263 students, excluding 37 unfaithful respondents, were used for final analysis, and the data analysis method was performed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis. According to the analysis, the behavior of appearance management has a significant effect on the level of self-esteem and psychological well-being, and self-esteem also has a significant effect on psychological well-being. For middle and high school girls who respond sensitively with interest in their appearance, a high level of self-esteem is essential for the formation of psychological well-being, and it is believed that there is a need to look at and guide their appearance management behavior with a positive view. A generalization review is suggested through in-depth research considering the characteristics of changes in the environment by expanding it to female middle and high school students nationwide.

석류잎 추출액의 항산화 작용과 미백작용

To investigate the possibility of development as a whitening agent using pomegranate (Punica granatum L., Punicaceae) leaf extracts, we measured 1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydroazyl (DPPH) assay, nitroblue tetrazolium/xanthine oxidase (NBT/XO) assay, intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging assay, tyrosinase assay and melittin-induced intracellular Ca2+ mobilization and β-hexosaminidase release in B16 melanoma cells. Pomegranate leaf extracts had dose-dependently anti-oxidant activity in DPPH, NBT/XO and intracellular ROS assay. Pomegranate leaf extracts significantly inhibited purified tyrosinase activity using both substrates, L-3, 4-dihydroxy-L-phenylalanine (L-DOPA) and L-tyrosine. On the other hand, pomegranate leaf extracts significantly inhibited melittin-induced intracellular Ca2+ mobilization and β hexosaminidase release in B16 melanoma cells. Therefore, these results suggest that pomegranate leaf extracts may be useful for the development as whitening agents.

오페라 ‘버섯피자’를 통한 무대 분장에 관한 연구

Entering the new millennium, Korean performing arts have become more liberal and diverse in terms of story and expression method. As people become more interested in stage performances, stage makeup, which visualizes the performer’s personality, has developed as well. Stage makeup is a process that aids the audience in having a better understanding of the operatic characters. This study aims to help operatic characters stand out through systematic application of stage makeup based on physiognomy after an investigation of the external images of four performers in the opera ‘Mushroom Pie’, A stage performance is designed in close cooperation between designers and experts in various fields such as makeup, costume, fine arts and lighting. Before starting the stage performance, it is necessary to fully understand the characters, develop a makeup plan and discuss the details with the director. Because stage performance is a composite art, it is wrong to cast performers based on their external images only. In fact, it is important to make performers look just like their character through makeup. In terms of makeup, physiognomy-based makeup was more specific, creative and systematic than the application of makeup based on script analysis. Based on the result of this study, a further study will be conducted regarding stage makeup and various characters based on physiognomy.
