From Jan.1984 to Dec. 1986, 90 patients with lung cancer were treated at the Department of Radiation Therapy in Hanyang University Hospital. Histopathologically, 67 cases of them were the squamous cell carcinoma,7 cases were the adenocarcinoma, 4 cases were the large cell undiffe rentiated carcinoma and 12 cases were the small cell carcinoma. Among the 78 patients with non small cell carcinoma, 50 patients had received radiation dosage above 4000 cGy.40 patient had follow up from 17 months to 53 months. The complete response rate was $7.3\%$ and partial response rate was $68.3\%$. Overall survival at 1, 2 and 3 years were $47.5\%,\;23.5\%\;and\;6.3\%$ respectively. None was survived longer than 38 months. Median survival was 12.2 month for 40 patient and 9 month for stage III, M1 group and 9.5 month for stage III, MO group. In M1 patient no survival was seen after 2 years while in M0 patient $23.3\%$ survival was seen.

창출(Atractylodes lancea) 추출물의 투여가 당뇨 유발 흰쥐의 혈당과 지질수준에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Atractylodes lancea (A.l.) in a dose-dependent manner on lipid levels and plasma glucose in diabetic rats induced with streptozotocin (STZ). The Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly classified into five groups: normal, STZ-control and three experimental groups [A.l.-1, diabetic treated with ethanolic extract of A.l. (1 g/kg b.w.), A.l.-2, diabetic administered with ethanolic extract of A.l. (2 g/kg b.w.), and A.l.-3, diabetic administered with ethanolic extract of A.l. (3 g/kg b.w.)]. The normal and STZ-control group were fed an AIN-93 diet and the three experimental groups were administered with A.l. extract at doses of 1, 2, and 3 g/kg b.w./day, respectively, for 14 days. The plasma glucose levels in all the experimental groups were significantly lower than the STZ-control group after 14 days of treatment. The total cholesterol of the A.l.-3 and triglyceride levels, atherogenic index (AI) of all three experimental groups were significantly lower than the STZ-control group. The ALT and AST activities at A.l.-2, A.l.-3 were significantly lower than the STZ-control group. This result that demonstrate the administration of Atractylodes lancea can reduce hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia risk in diabetic rats.

The environment of using digital devices has been developed day by day, as mobile communication network has been fast and smart phone and tablet PC have been spread. When the environment changing, the contents consumers prefer have been changing too. The Webtoon became the representative contents of 'Snack culture'. The webtoon has led the growth of cartoon market for years recently instead of the slow comics growth. And it places its elf as contents on a firm basis, as it has been adapted to another genre such as Pay, Flm, TV Drama. Now it's expected to be an extgeneration contents that will lead Han-ryu(Korean wave). Though the webtoon has important and strong presence, there is no digital archive for collecting and preserving the webtoon, Korean Cartoon Contents Agency started making 'webtoon archive', but the groundwork and the study on the webtoon that represents digital culture contents are not enough a lot. In this study, the cases on digital archiving of culture contents in Korea are researched, and the direction on webtoon archiving that has just started is also discussed. The Archiving of webtoon that can't be seperated from digital contents is connected with archiving of digital culture contents in direction where they should be headed to.

생리활성이 우수한 고품질 유색미의 단회 경구투여 안전성 연구

건강효능이 우수한 고품질 유색미 과피의 안전성 규명을 목적으로 ICR계 마우스 암수 각각 10마리를 이용하여 적진주벼, 흑진주벼 및 흑향벼 과피를 80% EtOH로 추출한 농축물을 1회 경구투여 후 14일 동안 실시한 급성독성 평가 결과는 다음과 같다. 시험물질을 1회 경구투여한 경우, 총 14일의 실험기간 동안 모든 시료투여군의 암수 동물에서 정상적인 체중증가가 관찰되었으며, 체중증가는 유의적인 차이를 나타나지 않았으며, 시료투여군의 경우 용량의존적인 체중변화도 관찰되지 않았다. 시험물질 투여 14일 후 부검결과, 암수 모든 실험군의 간장, 신장(좌, 우), 비장, 심장, 폐 및 뇌에서 시험물질 투여에 따른 어떤 육안적 이상 소견도 발견되지 않았다. 치사시킨 동물의 혈액 생화학적 검사 결과, 모든 시료 투여군의 ALT와 AST 활성도가 정상 수치를 나타냈으며, 본 실험의 최고 용량인 10.0 g/kg투여에도 정상치를 나타내는 것으로 보아, 유색미 과피 추출물을 10.0 g/kg 이하 섭취할 경우에는 어떠한 간독성도 나타내지 않음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 실험결과를 통해 고품질 유색미인 적진주벼, 흑진주벼 및 혹향벼 과피 추출물의 단회 경구투여에 의한 독성시험 시, 시험물질 투여에 의한 표적 장기가 관찰되지 않았으며, 어떠한 독성학적인 변화도 관찰되지 않는 것으로 보아, 무해 용량은 암수 모두 10.0 g/kg을 상회할 것으로 추정할 수 있었다. The present study was carried out to investigate the potential toxicity of highly-developed rice varieties, Oryza sativa cvs. Jukjinjubyeo, Heuginjubyeo and Heughyangbyeo by a single oral dose in ICR mice. The test article was orally administered once by gavage at dose levels of 0, 2.5, 5.0, and 10.0 g/kg body weight (n=10 for male and female mice for each dose). We examined the number of deaths, general clinical signs, body weights and biochemical analysis for sexes and doses of mice between control and experimental groups. As a result all of the groups were alive during experimental periods and none of the significant clinical symptom and body weight changes were shown in all of the groups. Plasma glucose levels were valued for both control and experimental groups and there were no significant differences between the groups. The activities of aminotransferase were not increased in all experimental groups compared to control groups. The results suggest that the toxicity of the aleurone layer of Oryza sativa cvs. Jukjinjubyeo, Heugjinjubyeo and Heughyangbyeo are low and its $LD_{50}$ is over 10.0 g/kg body weight in both male and female mice.

의료와 미디어 산업의 노년 담론에 대한 비판적 고찰 : 젊음의 연장이 아닌 노년의 복원

현대 사회는 노년을 인생 절정 이후의 내리막길로 규정한다. 이미 인생을 완성했기에 노년에 접어든 사람들은 더 이상 아무 것도 꿈꾸지 않을 것을, 그리고 자신의 쇠락과 쇠퇴에 따른 차별을 당연하게 받아들일 것을 요구받는다. 만약 차별받지 않으려면, 자신의 노년을 있는 그대로 표현하는 대신, 성공적 노화를 통해 젊음의 연장을 실현해야 한다. 그러나 '젊음의 연장'으로 노년을 줄여나가는 것은 단순히 '노년도 할 수 있다'라는 낙관론만을 의미하지 않는다. 오히려 그것은 노년의 증발, 즉 생애 한 과정으로서 노년이 지니는 의미를 박탈하는 것이며, 동시에 그 요구를 수용하지 못하는 노인들을 더욱 차별하는 기제로 작용하기도 한다. 서구사회로부터 시작된 이 '젊음 연장' 담론은, 최근 우리 사회에서도 지배적인 노년담론이 되고 있는데, 의료와 미디어 영역의 급속한 상업주의화와 맞물려 노년의 실존자체를 거부하는 '안티에이징'의 담론으로까지 강화되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 이제는 젊음이 연장이 아닌 노년의 삶 그 자체의 의미를 복원시키는 대안적 담론들을 적극적으로 구성해야 할 때다. 그것은 노년이기 때문에 지닐 수 있는 다양한 아름다움과 가치를 찾아내어 젊은 세대의 그것들과 조화를 이룰 수 있는 방안들을 구체화하는 작업이 되어야 할 것이다. 또한 독립, 노동, 자기표현 등에 적극적인 서구사회의 '신노인'을, 상호부조와 조화를 미덕으로 간주하는 전통이 여전히 남아있는 우리 사회에 맞게 재구성해야 할 것이다. 우리 사회에는 이 작업을 수행하기에 적합한 다양한 무대들이 존재한다. 그 중에서도 가족과 농촌은 세대 간 독립과 의존을 적절히 조화시킨 다양한 삶들의 가능성을 충분히 발견할 수 있는 무대들이다. 이처럼 젊음 연장이 아닌 노년 그 자체를 인생의 한 과정으로 인정하고 풍요롭게 만드는 것, 그리고 노년이 그 과정에 주체가 될 수 있도록 우리 사회가 함께 지원하는 것, 바로 이것이 우리 사회의 노년인문학이 되어야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to critically review aging discourses(Old elderly and New elderly) constructed by Korean medicine and media industries. Recently, Korean medicine industry has successfully medicalized the aging process and created economics profit from this process. And Korea media has successfully constructed the New Elderly discourse. New elderlies are differently portrayed from Old elderlies who have the negative images as dependent burden of society. Media have portrayed New Elderlies as productive, successful aging and active group. The rapid development of commercialization in medicine and media areas has strengthened this 'extension of youth' or 'anti-aging' discourse. However, to consider extension of youth as the elderly's success or happiness has the other negative ideological meaning. That means the disappearance of the elderly period in life. And by focusing on individual responsibility of the successful aging, it also overlooked the responsibility of our society. So we have to rebuild the elderly's meaning as a natural process of life. In addition, we have to search inherent virtues of the elderly and seek those in harmony with virtues of the other periods in life.

민간비영리(民間非營利) 복지기관(福祉機關)의 재원조달(財源調達) 및 집행(執行)에 관한 연구(硏究) -대한적십자사(大韓赤十字社)의 운영사례(運營事例)를 중심(中心)으로-

본 논문의 目的은 赤十字社의 재원조달 및 사업수행상의 특성에 관한 事例硏究를 통해 민간비영리 복지기관의 재원조달 및 집행상의 특성을 분석하고, 정부와의 實用的인 協力者關係를 형성하기 위한 조건을 얼마나 갖추고 있는지에 대한 의문에 대답하는 것이다. 적십자사는 會費募金이라는 한가지 재원에 의존하는 비율이 너무 높고, 다양한 재원을 확보하기 위해 필요한 組織能力을 키우려는 노력은 매우 미흡하였다. 즉, 事業內容이 산만하고, 다른 민간기관의 사업과 重複되며, 서비스의 質이 낮은 데서 오는 사업 效果性의 不足과 支社別 自律性 부족, 인력 및 조직의 效率性 부족 등의 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 政府와의 關係에 있어서, 상호대등하고 보완적인 협력자관계를 형성하고 있는 美國 赤十字社와는 달리, 정부로부터 支援金은 거의 받지 못하면서도, 회비모금과정에서 정부에 의존하는 데서 오는 垂直的인 관계를 가짐으로써 양자간의 실용적 협력자관계가 형성되기 어려운 조건을 갖추고 있었다. 한편 미국이나 일본정부와는 달리 우리나라 政府는, 국가가 책임져야 할 기본적인 서비스를 제공하면서 민간비영리 복지기관을 活用함으로써 지역주민의 복지욕구를 충족시키려는 意慾이 매우 부족하다. This study attempts to analyse the fund-raising strategies and service programs of nonprofit welfare agencies. It also explores the relationship between these agencies and the government through a case study of the Korean Red Cross,which is one of the most important voluntary nonprofit agencies and international social service organizations in Korea. Financial data and service programs of the Korean Red Cross are analysed and compared to the American Red Cross and the Japanese Red Cross, which have different fund-raising stragegies, service programs and relationships with their respective governments in spite of having the same mission. The results show that a pragmatic partnership between the governmental and voluntary nonprofit sectors does not exist in Korea. This conclusion was reached primarily because the two prerequisites of pragmatic partnership, as claimed by Kramer, are not being met. (1) The Korean Red Cross fails to stand for service quality, specialty, efficient management, and to communicate how it spends its money. Its consideration is given to organization maintenance rather than public interest. (2) The government`s commitment has not been sufficient to demonstrate their competence, de-bureaucratization and decentralization of welfare. Specially, it does not deal with the voluntary nonprofit agency on an equal basis.
