        일반논문 : 디지털 기술시대의 대중예술과 소녀의 복제

        This paper proposes ``cultural engineering`` as a new term for cultural analysis and explores the social meaning of pop-art in the digital age. Based upon Jody Berland`s notion of "cultural technologies," this paper takes note of the digital-based lifestyle that allows contemporary urban laborers to use digital spatial-temporal modes of existence at their commands. By framing such digital transformation through the tools of ``copy,`` ``cut,`` ``past,`` and ``send`` in the context of genetic engineering technologies such as gene-splicing and cloning, it makes attempts to understand the social dimensions surrounding the popular desire for re-making the original and to muse over the social potentials of the new digital culture: whether it will be able to promise the social empowerment for the digital masses as Walter Benjamin responded to the emergence of the cinema in the early twentieth century. As for praxis, this paper applies the new term to the analysis of director Kim Ji-woon`s "Janghwa, Honglyeon" and Charles and Thomas Guard brother`s "The Uninvited: A Tale of Two Sisters and tries to reveal the patriarchal lag that two cinematic editions of a traditional Korean folk tale "Janghwa and Honglyeon" conceal in the process of cloning the sexuality and body of "Sonyeo." In doing so, this paper suggests Korean teen-age girls still remain the specter of the patriarchal texts of girlhood since Janghwa and Honglyeon.

        수정된 한글 연명의료계획서(Modified Korean Physician Order for Life-Sustaining Treatment, MK-POLST) 분석을 통한 호스피스 병동 환자의 의료 중재 항목별 선호도 및 충실도 조사

        목적: 호스피스 및 완화치료 환자 또는 임종단계 환자를 위한 연명 치료 결정에 관한 법안은 2016년에 제정되어 2018년 2월부터 시행 되었다. 이 법안의 취지와 내용은 미국의 POLST에 근거한다. 이 연구의 목적은 미국의 POLST를 변형하여 만든 MK-POLST를 호스피스 병동 환자들에게 적용을 한 뒤 각 항목에 대한 선호도 및 시행 일치율을 조사하는 것이다. 방법: 2017년 2월 1일부터 2019년 4월 30일까지 경상대학교병원의 부속 호스피스 병동의 모든 입원 환자의 MK-POLST에 대한 의무기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 결과: 총 387명의 연구대상자 중 295명의 환자가 MK-POLST를 작성했다. MK-POLST는 환자 자신이 133건(44.1%), 배우자가 84건(28.5 %), 자녀가 75건(25.4%) 작성했다. MK-POLST가 작성된 295 명의 환자 중 단 13명(4.4%)이 주사 영양제를 거부하였으며, 5명(1.7%)은 완화적 진정을 거부하였지만, 대다수인 288명(97.6%)이 심폐소생술 및 인공호흡기 치료를 원하지 않았고, 226명(76.9%)이 승압제 사용을 원하지 않았다. 인공호흡기, 심폐소생술 및 완화적 진정을 제외한 모든 MK-POLST 항목의 시행 일치율에 대한 Kappa 값은 낮았다. 결론: 호스피스 환자들은 심폐소생술, 인공호흡기 및 승압제 사용은 거부 했지만, 대조적으로 항생제, 주사 영양제 및 완화적 진정은 대다수 또는 절대적인 경우에 선호했다. Purpose: The Act on Hospice and Palliative Care and Decisions on Life-sustaining Treatment for Patients at the End of Life was enacted in 2016 and has taken effect since 2018 February. The content of this act was based on Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) in the United States and we modified it for terminal cancer patients registering hospice. The object of this study is to investigate preference and implementation rate for modified Korean POLST (MMK-POLST) items in hospice ward. Methods: From February 1, 2017 to April 30, 2019, medical records regarding MMK-POLST were retrospectively analyzed for all patients hospitalized in the hospice ward of Gyeongsang National University Hospital. Results: Of the eligible 387 total cohorts, 295 patients filled out MK-POLST. MK-POLST has been completed in 133 cases (44.1%) by the patient themselves, 84 cases (28.5%) by the spouse, and 75 cases (25.4%) by their children, respectively. While only 13 (4.4%) out of 295 MK-POLST completed patients refused the parenteral nutrition and 5 patients (1.7%) for palliative sedation, the absolute majority of 288 (97.6%) patients did not want cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and ventilators and 226 people (76.9%) for pressor medications. Kappa values for the matched strength of MK-POLST implementation were poor for all items except CPR, ventilators and palliative sedation. Conclusion: Hospice patients refused to conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ventilators and pressor agents. In contrast, antibiotics, parenteral nutrition and palliative sedation were favored in the majority of patients.

        문화기반시설 서비스 인력의 감정노동과 소진

        As the service employees grow in number in accordance with the rapidly growing cultural and arts industry, emotional labor becomes a more and more prevalent component of culture and arts service section. Since the concept of emotional labor was first introduced by Hochschild(1983), there have been many researches that investigated the mediator and the moderator of emotional labor and burnout. This study is aimed to examine the moderated effects of emotional intelligence(self-emotional appraisal, other"s emotional appraisal, regulation of emotion, use of emotion) in relationship of emotional labor(surface acting, deep acting) and burn-out(exhaustion, depersonalization) which service employee in the cultural facilities. In order to conduct the research, The survey period took place from 1 July to 10 July 2015, 206 questionaries were distributed to service employees in cultural facilities in Seoul, 203 questionaries were completed and used. Their search findings were summarized as follows. First, the surface acting was positively related to cultural facilities service employee"s burnout(exhaustion and depersonalization). Contrastively, the deep acting wasn"t related to burnout. In addition, employment type was proven to effects burnout. Second, cultural facilities service employee"s self-emotional appraisal and other"s emotional appraisal were related to emotional labor and burnout. However, regulation of emotion and use of emotion were not related to emotional labor and burnout. Third, cultural facilities service employees who play surface acting causes more burnout, lower self-emotional appraisal and other"s emotional. Meanwhile, Cultural facilities service employees who play deep acting induces lower burnout, more self-emotional appraisal and other"s emotional.

        서브 마이크로 구조를 가진 실리콘 표면의 마찰 특성 연구

        The understanding of the friction characteristics of micro-textured surface is of great importance to enhance the tribological properties of nano- and micro-devices. We fabricate rectangular patterns with submicron-scale structures on a Si wafer surface with various pitches and heights by using a focused ion beam (FIB). In addition, we fabricate tilted rectangular patterns to identify the influence of the tilt angle (45° and 135°) on friction behaviour. We perform the friction test using lateral force microscopy (LFM) employing a colloidal probe. We fabricate the colloidal probe by attaching a 10±1-μm-diameter borosilicate glass sphere to a tipless silicon cantilever by using a ultraviolet cure adhesive. The applied normal loads range between 200 nN and 1100 nN and the sliding speed was set to 12 μm/s. The test results show that the friction behavior varied depending on the pitch, height, and tilt angle of the microstructure. The friction forces were relatively lower for narrower and deeper pitches. The comparison of friction force between the sub-micro-structured surfaces and the original Si surface indicate an improvement of the friction property at a low load range. The current study provides a better understanding of the influence of pitch, height, and tilt angle of the microstructure on their tribological properties, enabling the design of sub-micro- and micro-structured Si surfaces to improve their mechanical durability.

        에이드리언 리치와 가능성의 예술

        For Adrienne Rich, writing a poem is dreaming of the world of possibility, two of whose wheels are change and alliance. For this purpose she has ripped up the conventional use of language, revealed the damages that patriarchal values had made, and envisioned the possibility of the common language. Writing a poem is also, she argues, empowering the powerless who have long been posited to be feminine in the white-male-centered society. Consequently she has created a linguistic space in which their stories of fear, anger and frustration can be heard. Focusing on these two aspects of Rich`s poetics, this paper chronologically follows her books of poems and illuminates the poetic transformation she has made out of her personal life experiences.         세계문학으로서 한국문학: 번역과 번역공정의 문제에 대한 고찰

        As is easily guessed, translated Korean literature has virtually little presence in the world literary market. Among many reasons to analyze this paucity of world interest in translated Korean literary works, the difficulty of English translation itself has been mostly blamed. However, given the fact that the difficulty is not applied only to Korean literature but to all non-English works, the precarious nature of the success of translated works needs to be probed in another light. Hence, I propose to examine the possibility that what domestic scholars provide as the essence of Korean literature might taste different from what foreign readers expect from reading world literatures. This means that domestic scholars need to form another approach to ``Koreanness`` of Korean literature in order to suit the taste of non-Korean world readers. As a trial attempt, I review the research papers on modern Korean poetry and how domestic scholars have forged the nature of Korean poetry as "literature of grief." Then using two translated texts of Ko Un`s poems, I try to show that in most cases culturally specific sentiments cannot be materialized in the educated English in the process of translation and that only a writer`s humanist gaze at and compassion for human suffering can survive the atrocity of translation and come to attain any kind of poetic achievement.
