The Ti-Ni alloy nanopowders were synthesized by a levitational gas condensation (LGC) by using a micron powder feeding system and their particulate properties were investigated by x-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) method. The starting Ti and Ni micron powders $150{\mu}m$ were incorporated into the micron powder feeding system. An ingot type of the Ti-Ni ahoy was used as a seed material for the levitation and evaporation reactions. The collected powders were finally passivated by oxidation. The x-ray diffraction experiments have shown that the synthesized powders were completely alloyed with Ti and Ni and comprised of two different cubic and monoclinic crystalline phases. The TEM results showed that the produced powders were very fine and uniform with a spherical particle size of 18 to 32nm. The typical thickness of a passivated oxide layer on the particle surface was about 2 to 3 nm. The specific surface area of the Ti-Ni alloy nanopowders was $60m^2/g$ based on BET method.

As it becomes to be tourist places, unpredicted problems are happening in the tourist places. But the socio-cultural impact of tourism development is even more difficult to assess. These impacts can at the same time enhance and degrade traditional custom`s quality. Generally the impacts of tourism can fall into two sides which is positive and negative one. Many sociologists regard tourism at least travel from developed to developing areas or from urban centers to rural districts, to be nothing less than a collision of cultures, a direct confrontation between people with vastly differing values and social patterns. The main purpose of this study is to identify the socio-cultural impacts of tourism in the Mariana Islands. Now Mariana Islands including Guam and Saipan is facing challenges by foreign tourists and tourism development. As a result Hence residents of this case area is suffering from crisis of their identity and loss of traditional values as well as increasing the use of the drug $quot;Crystal Methamphetamine$quot;. In addition there are many problems which is increasing prostitute, crime, living costs, land price, etc. on the contrary there are also some positive impacts such as growing island economy, offering more job opportunities, improving living environment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze all explaining materials such as photographs, maps and figures in high school geography textbooks. These explaining materials are very important to geography textbook because it give a geographic clue for students. Furthermore, this kind of study need to be develop for better geography textbook. As a results, the following conclusions were drived. 1) In some textbooks, the use of the photographs were very high in geomorphological area. 2) Map materials in the textbooks were in use evenly by different chapters. 3) Picture and figure materials were also use in evenly by different chapters. 4) The relative using frequency among all materials was ranked map materials(43.5%)$gt; picturesand figures(33.1%)$gt; photographs(23.9%) on an average. 5) The using rates per a page of all materials were photograph materials(6.9), map materials(3.7) and figures(4.9) on an average. 6) All material sizes in the geography textbooks were in use ralatively free. 7) This study has developed for better geography textbook development.

The purpose of this study is for developing applicable strategy of performance assessment in geography education. If we assume the education to be making human`s nature development, Obviously education assessments need to going toward performance assessment. In this contexts. I suggest the two domain for geography education assessment. One is the student`s learning achievement in process of learning performance, The other is the student`s learning attitude assessment which both are conclude characteristics of performance assessment. The former can be specialized by learning unit, special topics, social issues, term project, etc. The latter also can be specialized by learning behaviour in geography class. In this case rubric include the learning fidelity, a cooperative spirit, leadership of geographical class activity, honesty of carrying out geographical projects, etc. Finally, teachers need to be change their consciousness about performance assessment for better geography education.
패널 ( Panel ) 토의법을 활용한 지리수업의 탐색

The purpose of this study is to make practical way through panel discussion in geography instruction. Especially, discussion method in geographic education is known as a useful teaching method and in their geographical value objectives. Here panel discussion method consider as good example for instructional design. General process of panel discussion in geographic instruction is follow as; 1. Instruction of panelist and panel discussion leader. 2. Background explanation for discussion subject. 3. Definition of terminology. 4. Opening of discussion activity. 5. Summary of discussion results. This paper will provides practical guide to geography teachers.

This paper is to provide practical discussion method in geographical education. In this study, Following 8 stages was suggested in order to better teaching geography through small group discussion. 1. Discussion Planning Stage 2. Discussion Group Making Stage 3. Task Suggestion Stage for Small Discussion Group 4. Study Activity Stage by Small Discussion Group 5. Discussion Activity Stage by Small Discussion Group 6. Presentation Stage by Small Discussion Group 7. Discussion Results Summary Stage 8. Discussion Assessment Stage This discussion method can be used for geographical education and geography teaching. The principle of small group discussion method may seem to be quite simple. However In terms of applying this method to geography teaching, Geography teachers should be pay more attention to related discussion skill and student`s learning activity.
