The phrase 'Gyeong Su' in the twelve gyeong su(經水) indicate twelve lower reaches of rivers and lakes which are located in the center of China. The reason of this chapter called 'twelve gyeong su(經水)' is that the ki(氣) circulation through twelve meridians in the human body is similar to constant flow of twelve lower reaches of rivers and lakes. This chapter is divided into five sub chapters, according to its contents as follows, Chapter 1 deals with the correlation between twelve gyeong su and twelve meridians, Chapter 2 deals with the correlation between universe and human body, Chapter 3 deals with the definite example of the correlation between human body and universe and Um-Yang(陰陽), Chapter 4 deals with most proper acupuncturing depth and remain time of acupuncture according to the theory of man, as a microcosm, is connected with the macrocosm(天人相應) and more or less of moxibustion amount, Chapter 5 deals with acupuncture application according to height, age, body shape of patients.
하울의 움직이는 성: 고령자 소피를 중심으로 고찰한 새로운 가족상

This study examined new representation of a female senior, Sophie, a heroine in the animation, Haul’s moving castle. Sophie, being frail and old, came to Haul’s castle and found herself a ‘care-giver’s role despite of unwelcoming responses from members of the castle. Her loving, caring attitudes and services to these members, Haul, Mark, and Calcifer eventually moved these people and gradually opened up to her. Throughout these processes, these members and Sophie formulated a sense of family and they could face a world war among nations together. In this animation, the director, Miyazake Hayao seemed to provide a new representation for female seniors, not as someone who needs care, but as an active person who can nurture, help others, and build familial relationship out of non-related people. Also such a family which shares daily lives and emotional supports can suggest a new type of family where ties in blood-related families have become weak in the Asian societies such as Korea and Japan. 본 연구는 <하울의 움직이는 성>에서 중심인물로서 이야기 속의 갈등상황을 해결하고 등장인물들을 이끌어 새로운 가족을 만들어내는 고령자 소피 할머니를 살펴봄으로써 고령사회에서의 새로운 여성고령자의 표상을 살펴보았다. 전 세계가 전쟁의 소용돌이에 휩싸여 있는 가운데 마법에 걸려 고령자로 변한 소피가 젊은 청년 하울, 어린이 마르크르 등의 등장인물들과 생활하면서 적극적으로 자신의 역할을 찾아 수행하고 ‘모성’이라는 강력한 근간을 바탕으로 서로 다른 남남이 하나의 가족으로 연대의식을 형성하는 과정을 보여준다. <하울의 움직이는 성>은 혈통을 기반으로 한 가족의 와해가 심화되어가고 있는 현대사회에서의 새로운 가족상을 제시하였다.
문제중심학습을 적용한 초등학교 컴퓨터교육의 동기유발에 관한 연구

The modem society is the age of information, globalization, and plurality, a shift of educational paradigm is necessary to cultivate human beings as the leaders in coming future society. In accordance with such a necessary change, the so-called 'Problem-based learning(PBL)' has been introduced as an educational method or approach for elevating learners' interest in learning itself and cultivating their attitudes to find out and resolve daily life problems by themselves and for themselves. In this research, we design the problems for elementary school students and perform the experiment to examine the effects of PBL through observation, interview and survey.
Effect of Mechanical Tension on the Human Dental Pulp Cells

In this study, we have evaluated the effects of mechanical tension on the proliferation and extracellular matrix (ECM) production of human dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) using a flexwell system that imposed cyclic mechanical tension at 0.03 Hz with 0, 5, and 8% strains. In the early stage (4 days), DPSCs at 5 and 8% strains had a similar proliferation, which was higher than the control. However, in the late stage (10 days), DPSCs at 8% strain had a higher proliferation than the control and 5% strains. This result clearly demonstrated that DPSC proliferation under tension varied with culture time. In addition, mechanical tension was shown to increase the amount of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) released during culture. RT-PCR analysis was used to show that mechanical tension also increased collagen and osteopontin expression and decreased α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) expression. Furthermore, FACS analysis showed that CD105 expression did not change in all groups but CD 90 expression decreased at 8% strain. In conclusion, our results suggest that an appropriate level of mechanical tension can serve as a potent positive modulator of proliferation, differentiation and ECM production in DPSCs.
