In this paper, we propose a new method to measure the velocity of a vehicle. In general, to measure the velocity of a vehicle, a global positioning system (GPS) is used outdoors and encoders with an INS are used indoors. However these sensors have various problems due to their characteristics. Within a tunnel, GPS cannot measure velocity. In addition, encoders, in essence, have errors due to slip. To solve such problems, we propose a velocity-measuring method using two magnetic sensors for reading the magnetic field. We can find the velocity by estimating the delay time between two axially separated sensors. To verify the performance, we compared the actual and measured speed with the proposed method. As a result, it was found that the proposed method has a good performance in the simulation and useful results in the real experiment. Additionally, in this method, a magnetic map is not required.

This paper presents a positioning method using range-based Bluetooth RSSI data and odometry data for a mobile robot. These days, Bluetooth beacons are widely used for various applications which are based on both location and environmental information. There are two localization methods: a range-free method called the ‘fingerprint method’ and a range-based method called the ‘triangulation method’. Because of the Bluetooth RSSI resolution, most researches are using the fingerprint method. In this paper, the localization method, which uses odometry data and range-based Bluetooth RSSI data, is proposed. The range data from Bluetooth RSSI is directly used without triangulation. Also, the particle filter is adopted to combine the odometry data with the range data from Bluetooth RSSI. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by simulations and experiments.

Objective; The purpose of this research is to find the right path of military medical innovation by comparing before and after the application of the polices and analyzing the effects of the polices. This research is progressed in accord with 'Project Today', which is for enhancing the outpatients` experience level. Project Today aims 'Providing quality treatment for all Patients who came to the hospital today` so is focused on reducing the number of untreated outpatients and improving patient experience. Method; Primary outcome is the score from patient experience questions of each area(medical officer service, nursing officer service, medical soldier service, process of prescription and treatment, hospital environment, overall evaluation), and was compared before and after the operation of the model project. The questionnaire contains total 8 areas 26 questions, including medical officer service, nursing officer service, medical soldier service, process of prescription and treatment, hospital environment, overall evaluation, individual trait. Results; As a result of patient experience evaluation, medical officer service from 3.12 to 3.33, nursing officer service from 3.17 to 3.19, medical soldier service from 2.67 to 3.11, process of prescription and treatment from 2.79 to 3.01, hospital environment from 3.29 to 3.42, overall evaluation from 5.95 to 6.85 has enhanced. Conclusion; After model implement of the Project Today, both quantitative and qualitative indicators have been enhanced and especially advancement of almost every area of patient experience has been verified. Yet, the whole military hospital scale result is not revealed, and it is to be analyzed in terms of cause and effect, and utilized for further policy development.

GIS is the up-to-date information to be able to support efficiently planning of all sorts, deciding on policies and industrial activities by linking situation and attribute informations computerized about all kinds of natural and artificial things existing on the surface of, under and above the earth. Recently, GIS remote management using WEB gets into the spotlight because we can do easily remote control using internet. This thesis projects and materializes GIS system focusing facility management using WEB. Facility management using WEB is able to cut down cost and manpower required for facility management by linking situation informations about facilities of all sorts and attribute informations related. In the course of construct and design of system, the needs of users is reflected and the up-to-date information technic is used for establishing system. This thesis is cooperative study between industry and academy. So it is made in the side of mutual supplement. After the development of system is completed, it is supplied to public institutions and operated.

The prototype SFR has currently been under design by KAERI. The size of its major components is much larger than that of APR1400 and high temperature materials are applied for it. The increased size of components and those specific materials effect on material procurement, manufacturing process and fabrication facilities. The manufacturing methods are studied for Reactor Vessel/Guard Vessel, Control Rod Drive Mechanism, Heat Exchanger, Primary Pump, Reactor Vessel Internals, Steam Generator and In-Vessel Transfer Machine. The proper manufacturing methods are suggested for each component including side forging technology for ultra large forgings of Reactor Vessel to minimize the weld seams on which In-service Inspection should be conducted.

Purpose: Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is one of the factors regulating angiogenesis. For angiogenesis, the local concentration of VEGF has to be maintained. Because of its short half-life, VEGF has been conjugated with nanoparticles. Some nanoparticles, such as poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA)) or polyethylenimine (PEI) are commonly used in this field, but have weak points such as faster release than expected and cell toxicity. We investigated the effect of core/shell nanoparticles including lecithin lipid cores in the ischemic hindlimb model. Methods: Mice were anesthetized and a region of the common femoral artery and vein was ligated and excised. Hindlimb ischemic mice (n=28) were divided randomly into four groups: Control group (normal saline, n=7), mouse VEGF group (mVEGF, n=7), nanoparticle including mVEGF group (N-mVEGF, n=7), and nanoparticle/hydrogel mouse VEGF group (NH-mVEGF, n=7). The drug was injected postoperatively into the thigh muscle of the ischemic limb. Perfusion, capillary number and H&E stain were assessed 28 d after treatment. Results: The capillary number increased in N-mVEGF and mVEGF group (P=0.026). Improvements of ischemic limb perfusion were inferior in N-mVEGF, NH-mVEGF groups (P=0.006) compared to other groups. Mice received N-mVEGF, NH-mVEGF treatment showed significant inflammation in the H&E staining. Conclusion: Sustained VEGF delivery via core/shell nanoparticle with lecithin core did not show improved perfusion rate despite an increase in capillary number. Furthermore, vacuolization and induction of inflammation requiring a different composition of nanoparticle should be tested.
