        오골계의 난각과 난각막의 두께에 관한 연구

        본 시험은 오골계의 난각과 난각막의 두께변화를 구명하기 위해서 공시란 120개로 부터 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 본 시험의 조사항목은 12개로서 그 평균 성적은 다음과 같았다. 오골계의 란중은 36.58$\pm$0.446g, 난각중량은4.53$\pm$0.079g. 첨단부의 난각 두께는 0.32$\pm$0.006mm, 중단부의 난각두께는 0.32$\pm$0.047mm, 순단부의 난각두께는 0.30$\pm$0.056mm, 첨단부의 난각막의 두께는 0.050$\pm$0.001mm, 중단부의 난각막의 두께는 0.050$\pm$0.001mm, 둔단부의 난각막의 두께는 0.053$\pm$0.001mm, Breaking strength는 3.06kg$\pm$0.010, 란의 세로길이는 4.80$\pm$0.024cm, 란의 가로길이는 3.82$\pm$0.010그리고 세로/가로는 1.26$\pm$0.005이었다. 2) 12개 조사항목간에서 상관계수를 구하고, 그 유의성검정을 실시한 결과. 난각막의 항목만 제외한 타 항목은 모두 고도의 유의성을 가졌으나. 특이하게 난각막은 타 항목과 유의성이 없었고, 그 계수는 부상관의 수치를 나타내기도 하였다. This study was carried out to investigate the variabilities of the thickness of egg shell and shell membrane of silky fowl egg from April 11, 1983 to May 14, 1983. One hundred and twenty eggs used in this experiment were obtained from a Synanmyun silky fowl farm, Sanchungkun, Gyeongnam province. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Total items investigated for the silky fowl egg; egg weight, egg shell weight, egg shell thickness of sharp end, middle part, and blunt end, egg shell membrane thickness of snarp end, middle part, and blunt end, breaking strength, length of egg(L), width of egg(W), and L/W, were measured as 36.58${\pm}$0.446g, 4.53${\pm}$0.079g, 0.32${\pm}$0.006mm 0.32${\pm}$0.047mm, 0.30${\pm}$0.056mm, 0.050${\pm}$0.001mm, 0.050${\pm}$0.001mm, 0.053${\pm}$0.001mm, 3.06${\pm}$0.101kg, 4.80${\pm}$0.024mm, 3.82${\pm}$0.010cm, and 1.26${\pm}$0.005, respectively. 2. Correlation coefficients among 66 combinations of 12 items were estimated. The correlation coefficients relating to egg weight, egg shell weight, egg shell thickness of sharp end, middle part, and blunt end breaking strength, length of egg (L), width of egg (W), and L/W were largely to be highly significant but those related egg shell membrane thickness of sharp end middle part, and blunt end were not significant, sometimes showing inverse correlation

        가온온도 및 진탕시간이 전란, 난황 및 난백의 점도 변화에 미치는 효과

        전란(whole egg), 난황 및 난백이 가온 온도와 진탕 시간에 따라 점도가 어떻게 변화하는가를 구명하기 위하여 본 실험을 실시하였다. 가열처리는 진탕 수조를 사용하여 35$^{\circ}C$, 45$^{\circ}C$, 및 5$0^{\circ}C$에서 점도는 진탕후 0, 3, 6, 9, 12시간에 측정하였다. 전란은 처리온도(over-all mean)간에 있어서 35$^{\circ}C$와 45$^{\circ}C$구간에서는 유의차가 없었으나, 5$0^{\circ}C$구는 35$^{\circ}C$와 45$^{\circ}C$구 에 비하여 유의하게 점도가 낮았으며(P < 0.05), 난황의 경우처리 온도간에서 유의성이 없었으나, 진탕 시간간에서는 유의성이 인정되었다(P < 0.05). 그리고 난백은 처리 온도와 진탕 시간간에서는 유의성(P < 0.05)이 없었다. 위의 실험결과 계란을 가공 이용코자 할 경우 전란은 5$0^{\circ}C$에서는 3시간 이상, 난황은 35$^{\circ}C$와 45$^{\circ}C$에서는 3시간 이상, 그리고 5$0^{\circ}C$에서는 3~9시간, 난백의 경우는 5$0^{\circ}C$에서 0, 9 및 12시간 각각 진탕 처리한 후 사용할 수 있으리라 판단된다. The experiment was performed to investigate the effect of heating temperature and shaking time on viscosity change of whole egg, yolk, and albumen. Shaking water bath was used at 35, 45, and 50$^{\circ}C$ and the viscosity was measured at 0, 3, 6, 9, and 12 hours. There were no significant differences in viscosity of whole egg between 35$^{\circ}C$ and 45$^{\circ}C$( over-all mean). However, the 50$^{\circ}C$ group showed significantly lower viscosity compared to 35 or 45$^{\circ}C$ groups(P < 0.05). Non-significant differences were noticed in yolk viscosity among temperature treatments, but there were significant differences among shaking times(P < 0.05). Heating temperature and shaking time did not show significant effect on the viscosity of albumen, but the lowest viscosity was shown at 0, 9, and 12 hours at 50$^{\circ}C$. The results suggest that whole egg, yolk, and albumen should be treated for more than 3 hours at 50$^{\circ}C$, more than 3 hours at 35$^{\circ}C$ and 45$^{\circ}C$ and 3~9 hours at 50$^{\circ}C$, and 0, 9, 12 hours at 50$^{\circ}C$, respectively and then can be used in the processing.

        한국 재래산양 제2위의 형태에 관한 연구

        This experiment was conducted in order to investigate the morphology of reticulum in Korean native goats. 23 characteristics (age, live weight, chest girth, body length, reticulum area, reticulum weight, right and left reticulum length (R.L.), upper and lower reticulum length (U.L.), area of one polygon located at central part of reticulum (A.P.C.R.), area of one polygon located at middle part of reticulum(A.P.M.R.), area of one polygon located edge part of reticulum(A.P.E.R.), thickness of polygon wall located at central part of reticulum(T.P.C.R.), thickness of polygon wall located at middle part of reticulum(T.P.M.R.), thickness of polygon wall located at edge part of reticulum(T.P.E.R.), upper and lower length of one polygon located at central part of reticulum(U.P.C.R.), right and left length of one polygon located at central of reticulum(R.P.C.R.), upper and lower length of one polygon located at middle part of reticulum(U.P.C.R.), right and left length of one polygon located at middle part of reticulum(R.P.C.R.), upper and lower length of one polygon located at edge part of reticulum(R.P.C.R.), height of primary folds of located at central part of reticulum (H.P.C.R.), height of primary folds of polygon located at middle part of reticulum(H.P.E.R.), were investigated with 23 Korean native goats being aged from 1 to 2 years. The results obtained were su㎜arized as follows. 1. Average values of each characteristics were follows ; live weight : 19.27kg, chest firth : 60.43㎝, body length : 53.97㎝, reticulum area : 172.11㎠, reticulum weight : 59.78g, R.L. : 9.09㎝, U.L. : 9.02㎝, A. P. C. R. : 1.69㎠, A. P. M. R. :1.01㎠, A. P. E. R. : 0.66㎠, T. P. C. R. :1.75㎜, T. P. M. R. :1.98 ㎜, T. P. E. R. : 2.08㎜, U. P. C. R. : 1.22㎝, R. P. C. R. : 1.53㎝, U. P. M. R. : 0.92㎝, R. P. M. R. : 1.15㎝, U. P. E. R. : 0.67㎝, R. P. E. R. : 0.85㎝, H. P. C. R. : 0.23㎝, H. P. M. R. : 0.25㎝, and H. P. E. R. : 0.27㎝. 2. It shows a tendency that correlation coefficient between 73 among 253 items has a significant differences at 5 %, probability. 3. Correlation coefficients and regression equation between rumen area VS. reticulum area(r₁), rumen weight VS. reticulum weight(r₂), stomach weight VS. reticulum weight (r₃), are estimated r₁=0.7074** and Y^= 0.059X+87.632, r₂=0.9473** and Y^=0.126X+11.240, r₃=0.81-13**, Y^= 0.082X + 12.911, respectively.

        한국재래산양의 산육성에 대한 연구

        This study was carried out to determine the meat productivity of Korean native goat. The Body weight, carcass weight and the percentages of the various organs were measured. The correlations between the measurements were also determined. The results were summarized as follows: 1) The average live weight was 17.647 ㎏. 2) The average of heart girth was 58.279 ㎝ and body length was 4.811 ㎝. 3) The average of carcass weight was 8.512 ㎏ and the dressing percentage was 48.339%. 4) The average weight of right rock was 2.434 ㎏ and it was 13.476% of live weight. 5) The average weight of right saddle was 1.908 ㎏ and it was 10.997% of live weight. 6) There were found some significant (P$lt;0.01) correlation coefficients between righ trock weight. (r=0.7597), right saddle. weight. (r=0.7642), lung weight. (r=0.6379), heart weight. (r=0.4485), liver weight, (r=0.6642) kidney weight. (r-=0.4679), head weight, (r=0.6588) or liver weight. (r=0.4126) and live weight. 7) Some significant (P$lt;0.01) correlationships were found between right saddle weight. (r=0.7411), lung weight. (r=0.4.515), liver weight. (r=0.5889), kidney weight. (r=0.4087), or head weight. (r=0.4059) and right rock. 8) Some significant (P$lt;0.01) correlationships were found between lung weight, (r=0.9821), liver weight. (r=0.5302), head weight. (r=0.4466) or Leg weight. (r=0.4076) and right saddle. 9) There were found high significant correlation coefficient between head weight, other organ weight (digestive organ, respiratory organ, excretory organ) and other part weight. 10) Dressing percentage of Korean native goat 48.339% was higher than dressing percentage of corriedale 41.1% and it was lower than Saanen 55.9%.

        병아리사료에 밀기울대체로서 말 ( 柳藻 Potamogeton oxyphyllus Mig . ) 의 효과

        To evaluate the nutritive values of Duckweed(Potamogeton Oxyphyllus Mig.) replacing wheat bran at the level of 4, 6, 8, 10% in the rations of chicks, 150 female chicks of Babcock strain were allotted into four groups. The results obtained from the feeding trial of 8-week period were summarized as follows: 1. No significant differences among the treatments in the growth rates, feed intakes, and feed efficiencies of chicks were found. 2. Economic feasibility data by fixing the cost of Duckweed meal at 17 won/㎏ showed an increasing order of the feed cost required for 8 weeks per chick in the order of 8%, 6%, 10%, 4.0% and control group. 3. No toxic effects were found throughout the experimentation. The colour of faces excreated were appeared to be dark green, when the birds were received Duckweed. It might be, therefore, concluded that the wheat bran in the ration of chicks could be replaced by Duckweed safely and economically up to about 10% of the total ration.

        한국 재래닭의 난각 및 난각막의 두께에 관한 연구

        An experiment was conducted for 20 days( from July 21 to August 10, 1996) to investigate the differences in thickness of eggshell and eggshell membrane in Korean native chicken. All the eggs were purchased from a farm located in Chinju area. All eggs were categorized into Treatment I (34.89~51.39 g), H (53.32~60.70 g), and III (34.89~60.70 g) according to their weights. Eleven items were measured in all three treatments, i.e., egg weight, egg length, egg width, breaking strength, eggshell thickness of large end(STLE), eggshell membrane thickness of large end(SMTL), eggshell thickness of small end (STSE), eggshell membrane thickness of small end(SMTS), eggshell thickness of middle part(STMP), and eggshell membrane thickness of middle part(SMTM). Correlation coefficients between egg weight and eggshell weight, among eggshell thickness of large end, small end and middle end and eggshell weight were significant (P<0.01). Correlation coefficients between egg weight and large eggshell membrane were nega-tively significant(P<0.01). Breaking strengths were higher in Treatment I than in Treatment H. Correlation coefficients among thickness of eggshell and eggshell membrane at each point at 3 parts of large end, small end and middle end were not significant.
