        ‘모던 만주’, 이상과 파국의 임계지대-김남천의 『사랑의 수족관』을 가로질러-

        글은 김남천은 『사랑의 수족관』을 중심으로, 연애의 기차, 만주의 문제성을 다룬다. 보통 이 작품은 경성에 초점을 맞춰 주인공들의 사랑과 성공의 욕망을 서사화한 것으로 평가 한다. 또한 직업과 생활을 문제를 회사 경영, 기술자, 자선사업, 양재사, 바(bar)의 여급 등을 등장시켜 관찰, 묘사한 것에 주목한다. 이를 통해 ‘사실의 세기’로 흔히 평가되는 1940년을 전후한 식민지 조선의 현실과, 그를 바라보는 소설가 김남천의 내면과 전향의 논리를 다시 살펴보고자 한다. 본고는 이 작품에서 오히려 미지와 공백의 지표로 남겨진 것으로 평가되는 만주, 특히 길림-사가방 연선의 서사화 및 상상적 접근에 중심을 두고자 한다. 그럼으로써 ‘만주 모던’의 의미와 가치, 그곳으로 이주한 조선인의 현실과 삶의 저변을 짚어나갈 것이다. 하여 경성이 대흥콘체른의 이신국과 그 영양(令孃) 경희, 토목기사 광호의 공간이라면, 만주는 직업과 생활을 앞세운 현순과 양자의 공간임을 전제한다. 물론 『사랑의 수족관』에서 만주의 풍경과 내면은 주로 광호와 경희의 기차와 여행, 길림 방문을 통해 제시된다. 그러나 개척의 식민도시 신경과 길림, 사가방은 경성의 또 다른 재현이자 연장의 공간이다. 이를 비판적으로 조감하고 당대 만주의 현실을 드러내기 위해 현순과 양자를 화자로 설정한다. 그를 통해 조선인·일본인·만주인의 기묘한 갈등과 싸움, 결속이 이뤄졌던 농토개척단 및‘춤추는 여자’와 ‘팔려온 여자’로 대표되는 만주 유흥공간의 문제성을 분석한다. 결국 이를 통해 만주에서 생활과 직업을 구했던 조선이주민 현순과 양자, 개척농민들이 이중으로 소외되고 있음을 밝히고자 한다. This paper deals with the train of romance and the issue of Manchuria focusing on Love Aquarium by Kim Nam-Cheon. Usually, this work is considered to be a narrative on the main characters’ desire about love and success, focusing on Kyungseong(an old name for Seoul). It also noted that the problems of occupation and life are observed and depicted with the appearance of company management, an engineer, charity business, a costume maker, and a bar waitress. Through this, this paper tries to review the reality of the colonial Joseon around 1940, the period often regarded as the ‘century of facts’, and the inside of novelist Kim Nam-Cheon who looks at it and his logic of conversion. This paper focuses on the narrative and imaginative approach of Manchuria, especially Gillim-Sagabang railroad, which is regarded as an indicator of the unknown and empty in this work. By doing so, it will examine the meaning and value of ‘Modern Manchuria’, the reality of the Korean people who migrated there and their bases of life. If Kyungseong is the space of Lee Shin-Kook of Daeheung Konzern, his daughter Kyung-Hee, and civil engineer Gwang-Ho, it is presumed that Manchuria is the space of Hyun-Soon and Yang-Ja, those who focus on occupation and life. Of course, in Love Aquarium, the scenery and inside of Manchuria are mainly presented through the train and trips of Gwang-Ho and Kyung-Hee, their visit to Gillim. However, the colonial cities of pioneering, Sinkyung, JGillim, and Sagabang is another recreation of Kyungseong and a space of extension. In order to examine this critically and to reveal the reality of Manchuria of the time, Hyun-Soon and Yang-Ja are set as narrators. Through this, this paper analyzes the problems of the farm pioneering group which had conflicts, fights, and unity among the people of Joseon, Japan, and Manchuria and the space of entertainment represented by ‘dancing women’ and ‘women who were sold’. In the end, this paper tries to reveal that Hyun-Soon and Yang-Ja, Korean immigrants who searched for life and occupation in Manchuria, and pioneer farmers were doubly alienated there.

        이 글은 이육사의 시를 ‘예외상태’에 처한 호모 사케르, 곧 ‘벌거벗은 생명’의 개념과 의미를 빌려 해석하고자 한다. ‘예외상태’는 파시즘과 나치즘이 구체적 실례로 거론되는 것에서 보듯이 문민적 영역 속에 군사적 전시 권한이 확장되는 사태, 나아가 헌법의 효력이 정지되어 시민들을 권력의 자의적 처분에 따라 말살시킬 수 있는 폭력적 상황을 뜻한다. ‘벌거벗은 생명’은 그런 상황에서 ‘살해는 할 수 있으나 희생물로는 가치화될 수 없는 생명’을 뜻한다. 일제 천황이 지배하는 식민지 조선은 ‘예외상태’가 상시화된 공간이었으며, 특히 일제에 대한 비판과 저항에 종사하는 식민지인은 ‘호모 사케르’로 간주되어 마땅한 위험 분자들이었다. 본고는 이를 중심으로, 첫째, ‘한 개의 별’, 곧 새로운 지구의 건설을 염원하는 방랑자의 ‘노정’, 둘째, 실향과 탈향의 ‘고향’ 담론을 통한 살해의 회피, 그리고 동아시아의 현실 인식과 문학에의 의지를 새롭게 배우는 또 다른 고향으로서 중국, 문학운동의 모범으로서 루쉰의 영향과 수렴의 의미, 셋째, 이육사의 타자 지향성을 대표하는 ‘손님’과 ‘초인’의 발견과 호명, 그를 통한 ‘벌거벗은 생명’의 본원적 고향으로의 귀환과 도래의 의미, 궁극적인 사태로서 ‘살해’의 회피와 미학적 구원의 가능성, 넷째, 1946년 육당의 사후 발간된 유고 시집 『육사시집』의 진정한 가치, 즉 ‘저항’을 넘어서는 ‘벌거벗은 생명’의 기록과 기억의 위대성과 같은 주제들을 살펴보았다. The purpose of this study is to analyze Lee, Yuk-sa’s poems in terms of Homo Sacer positioned in ‘State of Exception’, that is, the concept and meaning of ‘nuda vita’. As fascism and Nazism are discussed with concrete cases, ‘exception status’ implies the situation in which the military authority of war is extended within the civilian sector and even the status of violence in which the effect of the Constitution stops and citizens can be annihilated according to the arbitrary disposal of authority. ‘Nuda vita’ means ‘life that can be killed but never becomes devalued as a sacrifice’ in such situation. In Chosun, the colony ruled by the Japanese Emperor, was the space where ‘exception status’ was ordinarily found. Especially, the colonized people engaged in criticism or resistance to Japan were those regarded dangerous as ‘Homo Sacer’. Mainly about that, this study has examined, first, ‘The One Star’, the ‘journey’ of a wanderer wishing to build new Earth, second, the avoidance of killing based on the discourse of the ‘hometown’ related to displacement or deprivation, China as another hometown to recognize the reality of East Asia and learn will for literature newly, and also the influence of Lu, Hsun as a model of the literary movement and the meaning of convergence, third, the discovery and calling of ‘The Guest’ and ‘The Superhuman’ representing Lee, Yuk-sa’s orientation to others, the meaning of return and coming to the original hometown of ‘nuda vita’ through that, and also the avoidance of ‘killing’ as the event of ultimacy and the value of possibility of aesthetic salvation, and fourth, the authentic value of Yuk-sa’s poetry, the collection of his poems published after Yukdang’s death in 1946, that is, the records of ‘nuda vita’ beyond ‘resistance’ and themes such as the greatness of memory.

      • 플레너 자기 소자를 이용한 포워드 컨버터의 특성 연구

        본 논문은 포워드 컨버터에 사용한 플레너 자기 소자의 설계 방법과 동작 특성에 관해 연구하였다. 플레너 자기 소자는 고주파 SMPS 설계시 발생할 수 있는 문제점에 대한 좋은 해결책이 될 수 있다. 이러한 플레너 자기 소자는 낮은 누설 리액터스, 낮은 구조, 경량 및 EMI 영향을 최소화 할 수 있는 등 여러 가지 좋은 장점들을 가지고 있어 최근 그 사용이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 플레너 자기소자를 이용한 포워드 컨버터를 제작한 후, 실험을 통하여 기존의 변압기를 사용한 경우와 비교하여 그 성능의 우수성을 입증하였다. This paper presented a design technique of planar magnetic components for forward converter. Planar magnetic components are a good solution for high frequency switching-mode power supplies(SMPS). Since these kind of magnetic components have some advantages(low leakage inductance, low profile, low weight, minimum EMI etc.) that improve the SMPS performance, their use is growing in the last years. In this paper, the performance of designed system is verified by simulation and experiment by comparing the system using conventional magnetic components and the system using planar magnetic components.

        온도상승에 의한 H-형강 압축재의 내력과 파괴온도에 관한 실험적 연구

        The object of this paper is to perform the experiments to investigate the relationship of the resistance forces and the failure temperatures on the failure behaviors of H-shaped steel compressive members. H-shaped members(SS400) were used for the test models and the tests for the elevated temperatures were performed by ISO 834 in FILK(Fire Insurers Laboratories of Korea). The local, overall buckling stresses and a yielding stresses for the failure temperatures were compared with the compressive stresses for the loading forces of test models, the yielding strength and elastic modulus reduction factor of the steel at a high temperature were based on the criteria of the EC3(Eurocode 3) Part1.2(1993). The slenderness ratio was fixed by 45.4 and the compressive forces corresponded with 50%, 70% and 80% of the yielding forces at the normal temperatures were chosen for the loading forces of the test models. The failure temperatures of the test models were investigated under three kinds of loading conditions. It was known that the resistance forces have come close to the yielding forces, not the elastic buckling loads evaluated by EC3 at the failure temperatures obtained from the tests which are related to the failure temperatures and the loading stresses. 본 연구의 목적은 H-형강 압축재의 온도상승에 따른 파괴거동을 중심으로 압축력과 파괴온도의 상관관계를 파악하기 위한 실험을 수행하는 것이다. SS400 강재로 제작된 H-형강의 시험체를 선정하여, ISO 834의 재하가열 시험방법에 따라 온도 상승에 대한 실험을 한국방재시험연구원(FILK)에서 수행하였다. 고온상태의 강재에 대한 항복강도 및 탄성계수의 감소계수는 EC3 (Eurocode3) Part 1.2 (1993) 관계식을 근거로 하여 파괴온도시 국부 및 전체좌굴 응력도와 항복응력도를 실험결과와 비교 검토하였다. 실험조건은 세장비 45.4이고 상온에서의 항복내력에 대한 50%, 70%, 80%를 재하압축력으로 설정하여 파괴온도를 측정하였다. 파괴온도와 재하압축력에 대한 실험결과로 부터 온도상승에 따른 내력은 탄성 좌굴강도보다는 항복내력에 근접함을 파악할 수 있었다.

        치과 임플랜트용 고정체 인상법과 지대원주 인상법간의 정확성 비교

        The purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy between future impression and abutment impression using strain gauges. The master model used in this study was a partially edentulous mandibular metal cast with two fixture analogs on both sides. On the left, two future analogs were parallel, whereas right side, posterior future analog exhibiting a 15-degree lingual inclination. From master cast, 10 impressions were made for each of the three impression methods. The master frameworks was fabricated on the master model, and two-element strain gauge was attached to a master framework. The master framework was seated on each cast, and gold screws were tightened to 10 Ncm using a torque controller AI-1600 strain measurement system was used for strain measuring. Impression methods studied were : Group 1:abutment impression Group 2:fixture impression Group 3:combined impression (anterior:fixture impression, posterior:abutment impression) The results were as followed. 1. The strain values on X-axis and Y-axis according to the three impression methods showed no significant difference. 2. The strain values on parallel and angulated groups according to the three impression methods showed no significant difference. 3. The parallel group exhibited significantly higher accuracy in adaptation than angulated group for all experimental groups (p<0.05). In conclusion, it is considered that accuracy of implant prostheses is more affected by implant angulation than impression methods.

        이미지와 시가(詩歌)의 문화정치학 (Ⅰ) -일제시대 사진엽서의 경우

        이 글은 일제 사진엽서 상의 사진, 그림 등의 이미지와 함께 인쇄된 민요와 와카(和歌) 같은 시가를 일제 ‘문화정치학’의 산물로 간주한다. 그 전략과 목표를 해석하기 위해 사진엽서의 ‘사실성’ 이면에 숨겨진 식민지 조선의 ‘재현’ 및 가치 하락에 특히 주목한다. 이 과정을 보편화·역사화하기 위해 먼저 서양의 사진과 사진엽서에 한일 양국이 어떻게 포착, 재현되며, 그것이 야만 지배와 문명 계몽 위한 오리엔탈리즘으로 작동하는지를 살펴본다. 일하는 조선 여성과 유희의 일본 게이샤에 대한 공통 시선으로 나타나는 ‘드러난 몸’의 조작적 재현이 해석 대상이다. 다음으로 한일강제병합 당시의 사진첩과 엽서에 재현된 조선과 일본 왕가의 서열화, 조선 민중의 일제에의 동일시 장면 등을 통해 기술복제시대의 이미지가 조선의 식민화에 어떤 영향과 효과를 발휘했는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 일제 사진엽서에서 식민지 조선의 이미지와 그것을 향해 발화된 시가의 결속법, 그에 의한 조선의 탈역사적·탈문화적 왜곡 현상을 비판적으로 검토했다. 음전한 부인과 색기의 기생으로 동시 포착, 편집된 한 여성의 사진엽서, ‘아리랑’과 김장 장면을 동시에 인쇄한 사진엽서가 분석 대상이었다. 이를 통해 일제 사진엽서가 대중의 이국취향에 대한 충족을 넘어 제국의 문화정치학을 실현하는 ‘애국의 기법’으로 전용, 편취되었음을 밝혔다. This study considers all the postcard photographs and images -as well as the Joseon folk-songs and Japanese prose(和歌) printed alongside them- in the Japanese colonial period as products of cultural politics. First, it examines the way both Korea and Japan were captured and reproduced in order to generalize and historicize the process through the format of Western photography and photo postcards, and whether this process activated Orientalism to justify barbaric domination and cultural enlightenment. The subject of interpretation included operational reenactments of the exposed body through common views of Joseon women at work and Japanese geisha at play. Next, we consider the ranking of Korean and Japanese royalties as reenacted in the photography books and photo postcards created under Japanese rule, followed by scenes of the Korean public identifying with Japanese Imperialism. Through this, the study examines the way images created in the age of mechanical reproduction affected and resulted in the colonization of Joseon. The subjects of the analyses were photo postcards that were printed simultaneously: photo postcards of a woman who was captured and transformed into a gentle woman and a coquettish geisha, and photo postcards depicting “Arirang” and Gimjang scene. Conclusively, this study proves that the photo postcards produced during Japan’s colonization of Korea went beyond the satisfaction of the pubric’s exotic tastes, and were fraudulently deployed as a “technique of patriotism” to realize the cultural politics of the Empire of Japan.

        한국 근대시와 리듬의 문제

        한국 근대시의 운율 문제는 매우 복잡하다. 서구의 직접적 영향 아래 성립되었다는 견해, 전통의 운율이 근대적 조건에 적절하게 변화되었다는 견해, 전통과 이입의 복합적 산물이라는 견해 등이 대표적이다. 이 글의 대상인 한수영, 박슬기, 장철환은 이런 견해들을 폭넓게 검토하며, 한국 근대시에서 자유율의 성립과 적응, 변화 과정을 새롭게 구성한다. 한수영은 일본 신체시의 7.5조가 최남선에서 김소월에 이르기까지 겪는 변화에 초점을 맞춘다. 불균등 율격을 확장시키면서도 정서의 질서화를 향하는 방향으로 리듬 의식을 실현했다는 게 결론이다. 박슬기는 ‘율’이란 보편적 개념을 설정한 후, 그 하위체계로 ‘성률’(聲律)과 ‘향률’(響律)을 배치한다. 전자는 언어의 음성적 측면을 통해 실현되는 율을, 후자는 언어의 문자적 측면을 통해 실현되는 율을 뜻한다. 묵독과 개인적 향유의 측면에서 본다면, 문자의 향률이 주이고 음성의 성률이 종인 계층적 관계로 재편된다는 게 결론이다. 향률의 구성과 실현에 핵심적 역할을 한 시인으로 이상화와 김소월을 든다. 장철환은 김소월의 리듬을 규칙과 정형이라는 질서원리와 불규칙과 변형이라는 변화의 원리로 파악한다. 이를 통해 김소월 시의 리듬이 음성적・통사적・의미적 차원을 하나로 결속하는 의미-형식의 일원론으로 수렴됨을 밝혔다. 이들은 리듬(운율)에 대한 문제의식과 대상 시인을 대체로 공유하지만, 근대시 리듬의 본질과 성격, 역할을 규명함에 있어 위와 같은 차이점을 산출했다. 이것이 한국 근대시 운율의 역사화에 기여한 바와, 현재 한국시의 리듬 연구에 끼치는 영향을 객관적으로 고찰한 것이 이 글이다. The rhythm of modern poem in Korea is very complicated. The typical main streams of views on modern poems are such as a view that it was made under direct influence from western countries, a view that traditional rhythm has changed to a form suitable for modern conditions and a view that it is a complex structure of tradition and import. Han, Su-young Park, Sul-gi and Jang, Cheol-hwan, the subjects of this study are reviewing those different views and newly constitute the establishment of free rhythm in modern poem in Korea and its adjustment and course of evolution. Han, Su-young focuses on the changes from the 7.5 metrics of Japan’s Shintaishi(新體詩) to the poems by Kim, So-wol. She concludes that non-uniform rhythm format was expanded while the rhythms were realized toward ordering emotion. Park, Seu-lgi, after establishing general definition of ‘rhythm’(律) then divides it into sub categories, ‘phonetic rhythm’(聲律) and ‘resonate rhythm’(響律). ‘phonetic rhythm’ is a rhythm that is realized by voice of language and ‘resonate rhythm’ is realized by letters of language. Regarding silent reading and personal enjoyment, it can be restructured as a hierarchical structure where the ‘resonate rhythm’ of letters is the main and ‘phonetic rhythm’ of voice is dependent to resonate rhythm. As typical poets who played key role in constituting and realizing resonating rhythm, we can think about Lee, Sang-hwa and Kim, So-wol. Jang, Cheol-hwan views Kim, So-wol’s rhythm as an ordering principle of regularity and fixed form and also a changing principle of irregularity and transformation. Through this, he could find that Kim, So-wol’s rhythm converges to a monism of meaning-format which binds phonetic, syntactic and semantic features. They normally share critical minds about rhythm and subject poets, and at the same time, could derive differences as above in defining the nature, characteristics and roles of rhythm in modern poem. Thus the study reviews, from objective view, the contribution of above rhythms on historicalization of rhythm and its impact on the studies on rhythms of current Korean poem.

        이상 문학의 정전화 과정에 대하여 -고등학교 『국어』,『문학』 교과서의 경우-

        이 글은 이상 텍스트와 ‘정전’, 그리고 『국어』·『문학』 교과서의 연관성을 검토하기 위해 작성된다. 이상 텍스트는 1950년대 중반 에세이 「권태」가 처음 실린 뒤 사라졌다가, 1980년대 중반이 넘어서야 「날개」와 「거울」 등이 다시 실리게 된다. 이런 사태는 ‘국정 교과서’의 목표, 즉 건전한 국민 육성과 운명공동체로서의 민족의식 확산을 ‘전인적 인간형’의 태반으로 보았기 때문에 더욱 심화되었다. 또한 전통 의식과 한국적 정서를 계승하고 표현하는 데 집중하는 보수적 민족문학의 주류화 현상과도 관계 깊다는 것이 이 글의 전제다. 이를 위해 1930년대 후반에서 현재에 이르는 한국문학선집과 전집, 이상 문학 선집과 전집의 발간 현황을 살펴보는 한편 그와 관련된 유의미한 평론과 연구들을 함께 살펴보았다. 조연현, 김동리, 서정주, 백철 등이 편집자로 참여한 선(전)집은 이상을 신심리주의 내지 순수문학 의 일파로 간주했다. 하지만 임화, 김기림을 위시한 대부분의 평자는 이상의 형식 실험과 언어파괴 현상을 식민지 현실에 대한 비판과 성찰의 운동으로 보았다. 이글 역시 여기서 이상 텍스트의 ‘정전’화 가능성을 찾는다. 이에 반해 현재 이상 텍스트의 교과서 등재는 학생 중심의 교수·학습을 중심에 둔 ‘문학 능력’의 강화를 위해 선택되었다는 인상이 짙다. 이와 같은 ‘강의 요목’의 성격은 텍스트 자체보다 그것을 둘러싼 언어적·문화적 실천을 중심에 둔 콘텍스트, 다시 말해 ‘학습활동’ 의 대폭적인 강화에서 잘 드러난다. 하지만 이상 텍스트의 정전화 능력이 유지, 보존, 강화되기 위해서는 이상 텍스트와 국어의 갈등, 모순투성이의 추와 악까지도 문학 대상으로 삼은 ‘시적인 것’에 대한 투기(投企)를 재평가해야 한다. The purpose of this study is to examine relationship between Lee Sang’s text, ‘canonization’, and Korean and Literature textbooks. About Lee Sang’s text, his essay, 「Gwontae」, was contained in them first during the mid-1950’s and then excluded, and after the mid-1980’s, his 「Nalgae」 and 「Geoul」 were again included. This phenomenon was even deepened because the goal ‘government designated textbooks’ was to cultivate sound people and spread the consciousness of a nation as a group sharing a common destiny as they regarded it was the matrix to raise ‘holistic persons’. Also, this thesis supposes that it is closely associated with the phenomenon of mainstreaming conservative, national literature focused on preserving and expressing the consciousness of tradition as well as the sentiment of Korea. Therefore, this author examined the status of publishing the Korean literature (complete) collections and Lee Sang’s literature (complete) collections from the late 1930’s up to now and also meaningful review and research dealing with those. To make the (complete) collections, Jo Yun-hyun, Kim Dong-ri, Seo Jeong-ju, and Baek Cheol participated as editors, and they regarded Lee Sang belonged to the school of neo-psychologism or pure literature. But most of the critics including Im Hwa and Kim Gi-rim deemed that Lee Sang’s experiment on forms and destruction of language were based on his criticism about the reality of being colonized and movement of meditation. Here, this study also tries to find the possibility of Lee Sang’s text to be ‘canonized’. When Lee Sang’s text currently included in the textbooks are examined, however, it fairly seems that those have been selected to enhance ‘literary competence’ centering around student-centered teaching and learning. The characteristics of that ‘syllabus’ are readily revealed not by the text itself but by the context focused on linguistic and cultural practice related to it, that is, drastic emphasis on ‘learning activity’. However, to maintain, conserve, and strengthen the possibility of Lee Sang’s text to be canonized, it is needed to reevaluate the projection to ‘something poetic’ taking not only conflicts between Lee Sang’s text and Korean but even what is hideous and evil full of contradictions as the objects of literature.

        시적 자서전과 서정주 시 교육의 문제 : 『안 잊히는 일들』과 『팔할이 바람』의 경우

        Biography is defined as “a retrospective story written in prose, in which a real person describes intensively about his/her personal life, specifically, a history of his/her personality by introducing the existence of oneself as a subject matter”. Of course, this is a sort of writing in order to endow integrity and value to one’s life. Seo, Jeong-joo exerted such a great effort in the recollection and significance of his ego as to prepare his biography with his prose and poems. The poetic biography is distinguished from a prosaic biography, which is more concentrated on the delivery of facts, in that it concentrates on the sensationalization of meaningful moments in life. The poetic biography written by Seo, Jeong-joo includes “Unforgettable Things” and “8/10 was the Wind”. Whereas the former was more faithful to articulating according to age and delivering the facts, the latter focuses on intense remembrances and expressions of meaningful incidents. This article aimed to seek the value impulse inherent in each anthology and the aestheticization of an ego by analyzing any differences between these anthologies. The article cross-examined the meaning by placing the anthologies on coordinates of time, namely “the series of loss” and “the series of rehabilitation”. Through this, it was confirmed that there was a large difference in the attitude and eyes of the speaker who remembered specific incidents during childhood. In addition, the article paid attention to his sexual drive and experience and the issues of pro-Japanese acts in order to review Midang’s growth, discovery, and selfcontainment during his childhood and dolescence. Sexual drive and experience were confirmed ultimately to be associated with vital force and the incidental completion. Meanwhile, the memory and reproduction of pro-Japanese acts, which was developed toward self-excuse based on fatalism from an apology for the wrongdoing, violated the ethics of truth in the context of faithfulness toward the incident. Such an aspect of Seo, Jeong-joo’s biography is concluded to be sufficient for being utilized to educate teenage students or young adult readers who lie across growth, discovery, and search for a true self.

        아동 성범죄 예방을 위한 초등학생 학부모의 CPTED 전략요소 인식에 관한 연구

        The objectives of this research were to examine school parents’ perceptions of attributes of CPTED, utilizing an Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) approach, in order to define the crucial attributes; and to analyze the effects of factors related to the CPTED attributes in regard to protection of children from sexual offenders. A modified IPA was proposed in this research as a way to identify the CPTED attributes needed to be improved for protecting children from sexual offences in and around schools. The IPA model was chosen since it provides a simple form of measurement, presents data in an easily interpreted format(action grids), enables extremely practical data analysis to the researcher, and suggests possible courses of action necessary for improvement and/or effective implementation. This research used a five-stage approach, including determination of primary attributes; development of survey instrument and questionnaires; collection of data; analysis(IPA) of data; and interpretation and reporting of findings. A total of 300 individuals--elementary school parents in Kyongju City in Korea--were surveyed for this research from October 16 through November 12, 2010, and the 207 valid samples, out of the collected 220, were included in the final analysis. Questionnaires, examined twice by a professional group, were recomposed by survey questions based upon an IPA model. Statistical analyses, including frequency analysis, t-test, and factor analysis, were performed using the SPSS statistical package(V.12.0). Through the survey process, participants rated how important the attributes would be to protect their children from sexual offenders and how satisfied they were with the attributes’ performance in and around the school environment. The importance and performance means for each attribute were plotted on two-dimensional grids in the Chapter VI of this research paper [Figure 1 ~ Figure 8]. An attribute’s location on the action grid was used to identify the effectiveness of strategic elements of CPTED as perceived by participants--school parents--and to determine what future action needed to be taken. The forty-one attributes were grouped into eight CPTED categories as shown in the Table 8, and thirty-nine of these attributes were plotted on two-dimensional grids. The findings and implications of this research were summarized as follows; First, twelve attributes with both the high importance and the high satisfaction degree fell in the “Keep Up the Good Work” quadrant(I-Quadrant) which needs to maintain present situation attribution. Another twelve attributes fell in the consistent effort concentration attribution--“Concentrate Here(II-Quadrant)”--which has the high importance degree but the low satisfaction degree. The Ⅲ-quadrant is “Low Priority” attribution which has both the low importance and the low satisfaction degree. Nine attributes were plotted on III-Quadrants. And, lastly, six attributes fell in the Ⅳ-Quadrant--“Possible Overkill”--which has the low importance degree but the high satisfaction degree. In sum, this exploratory research tried to experiment a new strategy, utilizing a modified IPA model, in both measuring school parents’ perceptions of attributes of CPTED and identifying significant and effective CPTED elements to be able to suggest possible course of actions for protection of children from sexual offences. Further practical research and trans-disciplinary interchange would be expected.
